3421  Economy / Speculation / Re: are people not reading the same charts i do? on: March 09, 2015, 11:56:53 PM
Hi
I see lots of posts in the recent weeks that the price of bitcoin has stabilized and/or is on the move upwards.
whenever I see posts like this I go back to any  chart the shows the price of bitcoin for all time ie not just 1 day , one month etc.
it seems that the big rise to 1200 was a con - either by gox themselves or someone who hacked them.
so I see most of those that rode it up have to slowly take most of the hit ie sell off most of their coins as they were speculative buyers.
so todays price of us$272 when you draw a horizontal line across from the chart you will see it went through this price level about nov 4 2013 on the way up when it was zooming each day.
I do not think all have taken the hits they have to take so there is more selling pressure to come and i see no reason for bitcoin to not got go very low over the next year or two  ie to a $50 type low.
speculators will have already factored in what the winklevoss boys and others are working on etc and it has not really kicked up the price so I see no reason to believe the price will not just slowly fall away.
what do others think?

Charts are only a tool, not to be taken too seriously when fundamentals are historically strong.
So you are basically saying that if bitcoin price was in the past around $1000 Bitcoin must rise to the point of $1000 because it is "historically confirmed"?
I know that there is saying "history has turned full circle". But I am sure that there must be more factors in motion beside faith to achieve that.
3422  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sub $200 by Tomorrow on: March 09, 2015, 10:44:04 PM
Op it would be more pro likely for bitcoin to reach +$200 than drop price to $200. You are just spreading FUDs with a newly created account. Troll it harder. Bitcoin for $200 is not believable scenario right now.
3423  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [$2 - $280] Selling Product keys Software on: March 09, 2015, 06:15:29 PM
do you accept other means of payment ?
i have paypal
I guess not. Since PayPal is not secure and sure method of payment. Transactions processed with PayPal could be reversed.

I would like to buy Win 8.1 pro - is 0.01BTC Enough for one copy?
3424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 09, 2015, 03:20:12 PM
i think the price will stay 275-285 for few month...

That is an incredibly narrow range. When has bitcoin ever beem that stable for months?
No since start of 2015. It was only great collapse at the beginning of January and since then sudden and short period of pumps and dumps. I guess it is a good sign price is stabilized for now.
3425  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Avis Mining More Profitable than Eobot on: March 09, 2015, 03:17:42 PM
54 days roi, this great ill register and try cloudmining at ur site
Are you even read this thread? Red flags are everywhere. It is probably a another cloud mining scam attempt. Guys, dont be so oblivious to facts!
3426  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] TOXCOIN - Secure Bitcoin Exchange on: March 09, 2015, 03:14:07 PM
So where are you from are you operating from, US or some other country? I did not find that information in the FAQ. It it really weird when an exchange market does not have physical office address specified.
3427  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHASH SCAM going public now! on: March 09, 2015, 03:04:16 PM
how much money you lost in here? just a question because you are doint this so intense

250BTC

So you're still down 250 BTC or did you invest more? I mean AMHASH paid divs for 3 months or so, some people claim this accounts for 60% of the original investment!?

That was the original investment

So you're still down about 100 BTC now, approximately!? Man, I get why you're this upset about this.  It really is a disappointing situation...
After reading posts like that and testimonies of people scammed by cloud mining companies I promised myself to never invest in cloud mining or mining in general. Too many scams and dubious companies in this market segment for sure.
3428  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a .2 btc loan for 20 days @20% on: March 09, 2015, 03:00:00 PM
if situation is favourable.

Lenders don't like this kind of sentence. If you are not certain to pay back in time, you better ask for a few days more..

I meant paying before.Ok considered.
Nice editing skill you have here Op. So before you were considering not paying at all? That is not a good sign. Aso for your information, member bitcointalk accounts are dirt cheap, not really valid collateral material.
3429  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN]Cryptovpn.me Signature Campaign | What you do online is your business. on: March 09, 2015, 02:03:44 PM
Op, you have so few participants because your rates are not that good to say bluntly. Other campaigns with similar payment rates requires only 50 posts per month. Hero and senior members can find out far better deals with bit-x and Dadice and the only group of users interested will be probably Members. As they are limited with other campaigns status requirements.
3430  Other / Off-topic / Re: If BTC goes to $1000 or more, what would you do? on: March 09, 2015, 01:33:50 PM
Some people are so greed blind they will hold forever. And that is little sad. Do not wait for price rise to some mythical values - use your bitcoin on daily basis.
3431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bryce Weiner attempted to tip ISIS!? on: March 09, 2015, 01:30:28 PM
While I personally hate ISIS and I think they are barbarians, savages and idiots. I think that if he Bryce Weiner of whoever in general wants to tip them he is free to do so. He will be labeled as supporter of terrorists of course but it is his free will. I am sure he did it only for the publicity tho. And he succeeded apparently.
3432  Economy / Economics / Re: Is money one of the three most important things in your life? on: March 08, 2015, 11:59:29 PM
For me, short-term = No way.
Long-term == Yes, since I will eventually be needing much more than I have now.

Is money one of the three most important things in your life?

Yes, definitely. I may not be an example, but I couldn't live the way I do without money.
Besides, as I have traveled many times in third world countries (India and Africa) where I've met some people without any money, I sure don't want to live like them.
Well, money are just a tool. In a perfect reality you would not need money at all. People are just greedy by nature and do not understand that how good would be live without money, that is reason why communism failed. There will always some big greedy bastards who will do anything to be more important.
3433  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free Bitcoin and Videos on: March 08, 2015, 11:54:46 PM
I increased the payout by a factor 10.  Smiley
With increased payment rate it is not the lowest paying faucet anymore and I see what you did there. So you created faucet to lure people with free bitcoin so they could see your videos and boost your views?  Very nice idea indeed.
3434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paycoin (XPY) is scam on: March 08, 2015, 11:48:12 PM
Nothing at this point can help PayCoin survive. Even with huge these spikes, the price is still  less than 1/10 of the initial price for investors, PayCoin foundation is just a cover and with Homero gone PayCoin is done.
3435  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Happy International Women's Day on: March 08, 2015, 11:21:23 PM

For me everyday is international women day... But not for everyone...

A gentle reminder from @SALVO_ID jersey

Jakarta. An Indonesian sports apparel manufacturer apologized on Sunday after coming under attack for printing washing instructions deemed sexist on the shirt of a local top flight soccer club.

“Washing Instructions. Give this jersey to your woman. IT’S HER JOB,” Salvo Sports printed on the inside of the shirt they designed for Pusamania Borneo, who begin their Indonesian Super League campaign next month.

Salvo were hit with complaints on social media after posting pictures of the offending message on Twitter this week before they issued an explanation and unreserved apology on Sunday, international women’s day.

“The message is simply, instead of washing it in the wrong way you might as well give it to a lady because they are more capable,” Salvo posted.

“There’s no intention to humiliate women. In contrast, (we want to tell the men) learn from women on how to take care of clothes because they pay attention to details.

“Not all men understand/know how to take care of their own clothes, women are more knowledgeable/experts on such matters.

“We apologize profusely for any miss-interpretations.”

The miss-interpretation in action.

In my opinion that company has nothing to apologize for. I find that washing instruction rather funny and I understand that this is some kind of joke rather than statement. If you think that women are only good for cooking and washing laundry you are an idiot. Anyway, happy women's day to all women with a sense of humor!
3436  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS bulldozes ancient Assyrian city of Nimrud, Iraqi TV says on: March 08, 2015, 11:13:14 PM
They are really craving for attention. Too bad they do it in the most idiotic way possible. ISIS just wants whole world to hate them apparently, they soon will have their war if their stupidity will continue...
3437  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't jump! It's not that bad....yet. on: March 08, 2015, 06:27:06 PM
The one case that are somewhat worrisome for me now is the recent bitcoin auction. People are afraid that winners will be dumping huge amount of coins right away - which may cause a huge market instability and bitcoin collapse. I personally think that panic is not backed by any facts and dump won't happen. But people who are infected already with uncertainty my start dumping their coins in fear of big price drop.
3438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blizzard creates own currency "WoW Gold" instead of using Bitcoin on: March 08, 2015, 05:59:38 PM
I would be surprised if any of the gaming companies would use such a volatile in game currency as BTC, especially when have zero influence over the price of it.
About one and a half year ago a Minecraft server operator complained about how using LTC as ingame currency killed the in-game market first later his gaming community and finally his server. (He utilized LTC when it worth something next to nothing and he ended up with a Minecraft world where almost anything was controlled by a few speculators.)
Bitcoin is volatile, that is a fact. So why so many big players, much bigger than some game companies already accepted bitcoin? Why Microsoft and Dell or online shops like Newegg are accepting bitcoin now? And your LTC example is a little off the road - in my opinion the ONLY cryptocurrency worth promoting is bitcoin. LTC or Doge not to mention some more coins like PayCoin are just not good at all.
3439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you deny evidence? bitcoin has deluded all us on: March 08, 2015, 05:43:03 PM
I can see a lot of people here, including op. With the same thought pattern they thought that bitcoin will be a blitz revolution, instant change. That total adoption will be painful and whole process will end before even anyone could notice. That bitcoin will be world currency before end of a year and everyone would be using it. And I am afraid that this is not the case with bitcoin, cryptocurrency revolution is painful, slow and with big problems along the road.
3440  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining? on: March 08, 2015, 05:21:33 PM
Is cloud mining a good option to look into when you first getting into mining? Any reliable and safe cloud mining site you guys know?
Pls share. Thanks  Wink
First of all hardware mining =/= cloud mining. You can' really say that you are a miner when using cloud mining services. You won't learn anything, you are just paying some people to 'mine' for you. If they really do it is highly questionable. As you can see most of previous cloud mining offers are nothing but a blatant lies. I would not invest in anything related with cloud mining if I were you.
