3421  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you Think we Are alone in the Universe? on: November 24, 2017, 03:56:08 AM
Of course we are not alone in the Universe... there are millions of planet out there and I'm sure that there are also some living things or creatures out there.
There aren't just millions of planets. There aren't even billions of planets. There are more than a billion billion planets. Tongue

And that's just the observable universe, which could just be a laughably tiny speck of dust compared to the whole universe.
3422  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would YOU choose to live forever? on: November 24, 2017, 03:54:31 AM
If there's a forever i want to live forever to get more bitcoins. Cheesy
If there was a forever, Bitcoins could become irrelevant very quickly. Tongue
3423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3rd time is the charm. Will Ethereum break trought sell wall at $400? on: November 24, 2017, 03:53:25 AM
As of now Ethereum price for today is $379.37. It has a current circulating supply of 95.9 Million coins and a total volume exchanged of $615,817,129, it's possible to hit $400 this December.

Your speculations are right but Ethereum are way more excited than what you thought. Ethereum is currently having $410.60 and pumped by 8.11% as of this writing and in fact, we're still in November. I think it is really capable of reaching 1000K before this year ends or sometimes in January next year.
1000k = 1 million. If Ethereum reached that price all hell would break loose.
3424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bubble or Not? on: November 24, 2017, 03:52:51 AM
There are always corrections to support levels.  So at some point, the price will retreat temporarily.  But ultimately, it will regain support and rise above the current levels.  Bitcoin still has a long ways to go price wise.

Currently, it looks bubble but after correction again it will go higher than 10K mark. So if you're a long-term investor then no need to worry.
I'm really starting to doubt whether or not people use the term bubble in its original meaning, or if it has devolved into something else like "literally"... Huh
3425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Ended]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | MultiWallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: November 24, 2017, 03:51:29 AM
apart from the battle that is taking place here right now. i think it is really time to deliver something.
this would:
1. stopp the mess here
2. help all the ICO investors.
That would be quite nice indeed. Slack is a major inconvenience and I'm not sure how else to get any updated info about NVO.

So it would be nice if there were at least frequent dev updates on this thread or on the website.

This is the latest official announcement on the slack board:

thanks @hayek for the recap: UPDATE 20/11/17: The devs (Nemgun, Marto and Tonbi) joined the slack to answer some concerns from the community. Here are a few things they said.
Marto mentioned : "There are no particular issue, but working on the development of a software teaches you one important thing, regardless the efforts you put in the development, or the size of your team, release dates are most of the time rescheduled. Especially during the pre-publishing as there are always last minute bugs, elements you forgot to add, or elements you should change"
Ton said that "Yanni (marto) and his team manages only the wallet. The team managing the validator and the tests are handled by nemgun. and last time they were checking compatibility with the packages ".
They also added that they did some "compatibility test, it went well, we had a delay because of ethereum but it is resolved".
Finally, they said that HitBTC wanted $400 000 as a fee for listing NVST. The devs sees that much money as a waste and would rather invest that amount elsewhere in the development of NVO.io
Tl:dr Yes wallet delayed / Final deadline of the project still Q1 2018 / Wallet still possibly released November.
Fuck HitBTC, wasn't that the shitty future trading exchange anyways? Hopefully the devs stick to their choice of not paying to list with those twats.

Anyway, thanks for the news!
3426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon to accept Bitcoin? on: November 24, 2017, 03:49:24 AM
It is a good news that bitcoin will be widely used. I hope amazon will accept it soon, and I think it will because this will bring them more customer  Cheesy
I doubt it would bring them more customers, but some people might end up spending more money at Amazon due to ease of access.
3427  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to solve world hunger ? on: November 24, 2017, 03:48:43 AM
You can help solve them through condoms. Would help put less stress on the world's resources.

This is the best solution I have read so far in this thread. The real reason behind poverty and hunger in the world is over-population, although no one want to talk about it. The so called poor people produce dozens of children each, while those couples living in the developed nations can't even afford two kids.
Well, couples in developed nations could technically afford kids, but they know better than to have children when it would cause financial hardship. I'm pretty sure that you could easily find a correlation between level of education and amount of children, which only gets lifted with higher income.

Only really stupid and selfish people would have kids if they knew they would potentially suffer.
3428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: November 24, 2017, 03:46:50 AM
I usually ignore ICOs, it's always better to invest in a protocol than in a company.

I believe every ICO from 2013/2014 has failed, 95% or more of all these new ICOs will fail and people will lose their money.

Were not 2013 or 2014 now
Many ico's have big potential now...i never failed in ico before so try it now Smiley
Just pick a ico that have great potential
Most ICOs are just pathetic money grabs. There are very few that have "great potential" in the long run.
3429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Wish I never bought altcoins on: November 24, 2017, 03:46:00 AM
Would have been much better off just leaving everything in bitcoin. Altcoins suck.
What causes you to have no faith in altcoin will not continue to buy it? Choosing altcoin trading is a way to make a lot of money.
If you know what you are doing, yes. Otherwise it's also a great way to lose a lot of money.
3430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: November 24, 2017, 03:44:59 AM
Greedy is a word used by the jealous people, to describe someone who got rich as a result of his hard work. Don't be so pissed off. The early users are rich, because they took the risk many years ago to invest in Bitcoin, when the prices were quite low. Back then, the mainstream media was churning out negative propaganda against Bitcoin.
Greedy is a word used to describe people who would choose profits even if it meant damaging others in the process.
3431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never buy Bitcoin cash on: November 24, 2017, 03:44:27 AM
The original is always better, I do not want to buy the clone of bitcoin. Bitcoin is enough for me, I can get many profit from the increasing price of it and I don't have any problem about its transaction, everything is fine for me.
Are you saying you would rather have a Nokia 8210 over a state of the art smart phone?
3432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 24, 2017, 03:43:57 AM
October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

are you kidding, of course the bitcoin price is now surprising and this is what bitcoiners want, and it is still not too late to start investing here
Still a few more years before we start saturating.
3433  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 24, 2017, 03:26:23 AM
Bitcoin is now at a (threeday) all-time low of less than $8000. It's time to jump the ship guys.

This is why I keep returning to this thread.
3434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never buy Bitcoin cash on: November 24, 2017, 03:23:12 AM
hi,man, the Bitcoin Cash market and industry are growing at a rapid rate, primarily due to the increasing adoption of the cryptocurrency amongst bitcoin platforms Smiley Smiley.
That is false. BCash is not growing due to adoption, it's being manipulated by Roger Ver and Jihan Wu. Study before spreading nonsense.
3435  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to solve world hunger ? on: November 24, 2017, 03:20:15 AM
You can help solve them through condoms. Would help put less stress on the world's resources.
Too bad you can't make it unlawful to procreate without the necessary means to support your offsprings. Would solve many issues.
3436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC is dead. The plan is a shift to Bitcoin Cash. on: November 24, 2017, 03:17:15 AM
I do not think Bitcoin can die in the present or future. Since current 2x segwit has been aborted, nothing can affect bitcoin. The value of bitcoin is greatly increased after the segwit is canceled.
SegWit2x was only a manipulatory ploy by WuVer to pump BCash anyways.
3437  Economy / Economics / Re: Why economists say Bitcoin a bubble on: November 24, 2017, 03:16:21 AM
I talk to big economists they say Is only a Bubble my thought Is no bitcoin Is revolution of economy even doesnt have a background like gold the value Is power of the people what do you think?
The economists we differently look at everything by the wife book and the knowledge they learn through the school.
What is a "wife book"?
3438  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money can buy happiness? on: November 24, 2017, 03:14:58 AM
My dad used to say that he would rather be rich and miserable than poor and miserable. I wonder which misery is worse.

Cool
What an odd person. Why would he choose to be miserable in the first place?
3439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon to accept Bitcoin? on: November 24, 2017, 03:13:05 AM
Even if Amazon supports bitcoin, but for now, bitcoin transfer fees are too high, and the price is not stable, slow, is the big problem.
Depending on the size of your order, Bitcoin would be cheaper than traditional payment methods even now.
3440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto to buy now? on: November 24, 2017, 03:11:57 AM
Bitcoin for long term investment.

Ethereum, Stratis, Ripple, Monero, Sia coin, Waves, Digibyte and Byteball for short term investments.
If you like Sia you should pick up some SiaFunds instead of SiaCoin, which are basically equity.
