3421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casimero vs Rigondeaux this August 14, 2021 on: July 28, 2021, 12:24:22 PM
Caismero always talks like that. I don't know if he's either getting to the opponents head or he's just hyping the match up to sell it to the fans. Or he did it for both reasons.

I've read somewhere, (maybe here or some articles?) that according to Casimero's camp, his trashtalk is a way to promote the fight because Casimero itself doesn't know if he can generate good revenues from PPV or ticket sales. Maybe the majority of his fight wasn't able to yield good revenue. To confirm it (which I doubt sales aren't good) I will try to search for it or if anyone has statistics for it, I will be glad if it will be shared here.

No problem for trashtalks as long as he can prove it on the ring. It's just that it's unusual to see a PH boxer doing some trashtalk.
3422  Economy / Economics / Re: If you can get paid through cryptocurrency, do you still choose fiat currency? on: July 28, 2021, 12:00:45 PM

First of all, if pointing out my salary outside crypto, it's being used as my primary income to cover all my expenses, starting from monthly bills to miscellaneous, extras, etc. Receiving it thru fiat will ensure that I can deploy it right away to where it should be used. No need to convert for fiat or wait for the price up just to take advantage of the volatility because on the other hand, what if it goes down more?

Now with my crypto-related or freelance works, I really don't have any issues if I will be paid in fiat or crypto as long as the price is right. What matters is, I have extra work alongside my dayjob.

3423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr on Aug 21 in Vegas on: July 28, 2021, 11:13:48 AM
It's bad right now, now that the election is coming, they are censoring people that are expressing their freedom. Also, war against drugs is a failure from the start, I mean US did it during Nixon's time and there's still an Opioid and Crack Epidemic as of now.

Can we please refrain from posting like that here? It's ok to discuss some side politics here but not that kind of argument as it has nothing to do with Pacquiao and Spence's fight or Pacquiao's political view. There are lots of threads around or you can start a discussion on it. Just be ready with your solid argument with proofs and not just because of how you see the situation. Smiley

Going back to the topic, a fellow PH boxer was confirmed part of the undercard for the Pacquiao-Spence fight.

Mark Magsayo, an unbeaten orthodox featherweight fighter will up against super bantamweight Julio Ceja.

2 open slots remaining to complete the four-fight main card.

3424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 28, 2021, 09:13:15 AM
The plays that given were all for Luka and all he had to do is wait in the corner like a PJ Tucker style offensive play.

If it's effective in the long run then KP should give way. Luka is not failing them. He looks like a ball hog but checking the stats, his assists have a good percentage.

Mark Cuban pointed out before that Luka and KP weren't on good terms outside the court. They gave time for these 2 players to somehow build good chemistry but still, it's not that good. It was the same case when Jason Terry joined the Mavericks and Dirk Nowitzki seems to don't like these guy. But looked at them, they worked together to bring a championship to Mavericks.

Will it happen to Luka and KP? The latter need to understand that Luka is the main guy on the Mavericks. He just needs to cooperate. Personally, I like him to stay.
3425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why shiba inu not come 1$ on: July 28, 2021, 08:54:20 AM

Technically, if intended, it's possible to reach $1. However, a trend always changes and sustaining a coin dominance can't guarantee for let's say for several months or years. Total supply can be disregard if the strong hype is there but it's not that simple "hype" as it needs a massive push better than the effect of Elon's shilling.

Some Shiba enthusiasts takes note of this:

Quote
When will shiba inu reach $1?

-To reach $1, Shib coin would have to increase by 12,000,000%. Every month since January, the coin has increased by around 2,000,000%. According to Market experts, it might approach $1 by the end of 2021 if it continues to expand at this rate.
-However, if it rises at a pace of 20% each month, it will take five years to reach the $1 mark, putting it in 2025 at the earliest.”
-The Shiba Inu Crypto has grown by 150%. This, too, is only a two-month period.
- It will most likely surpass the $1 milestone by 2025.
-The market value of the meme-coin might double if it manages to breach above $0.00001100.

Whatever your purpose, just don't take your hope to the highest. Try to stick with the realistic to happen.

Try to desire first at least 1 cent before jumping to $1.
3426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Regulators are pushing cryptocurrencies, should you be worried? on: July 28, 2021, 08:31:42 AM

This is really expected to happen while the crypto market is growing. We can really never experience a full decentralized nature because it's impossible to stay away from regulators. However, let's look at the bright side of these regulations.

As long as regulations aren't that sh*t and will not change a crypto exchange into a much more strict one in general, we can still enjoy crypto to the fullest.

I thought you just shared an article by someone. I realized it was you so a nice topic you brought here.
3427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best wallet for Crypto Sportbooks deposits/withdrawals? on: July 28, 2021, 08:08:39 AM
What is best/safest/easiest wallet to use for crypto gambling?

Currently I am using Binance wallet, but I heard that they can lock account and ask about these transactions.

I've never heard of Binance taking action against transactions between them and gambling sites. From my own experience, I do that several times already without a problem.

I doubt that was the case but mostly, accounts locks are due to some other reasons like flagged and alarm transactions, unauthorized login attempts, or something along those lines, etc. Binance users are free to withdraw up to BTC2 per day without KYC so I conclude that they are not that strict too on gambling transactions. However, if the amount involved is decent, just withdraw it in batches.

Using a non-custodial wallet is the recommended one in terms of "Safety" but if you are regularly funding your gambling site account, you can directly transact with Binance.

Or if you really want to make sure that everything goes without a problem then;
- Deposit fiat and purchase crypto at your preferred exchange
- Transfer to your non-custodial wallet
- Transfer to the gambling site

For withdrawals
- Gambling site > Non-Custodial Wallet > Exchange

EDIT: (for correction)
Daily withdrawal limits for Basic Account reduced from BTC2 to BTC0.06.

3428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FINU (Fire Inu) on: July 28, 2021, 07:44:16 AM
What is going to happen with all these Inu coins? Shiba Inu, Fire Inu, Kishu Inu.... They keep popping up out of no where.... I guess Fire Inu is supposed to rally, but I have no idea when or why... regardless does anyone know why these coins keep popping up? And, next question: Can crypto currencies "MERGE"?

As usual, if you want to take a ride because of the hype, then disregard the token itself since all you need to do is to take profits, "if possible". However, do following these tokens can really give you a good run? There is even no good technology behind most of these tokens and their market value is just pure hype I believed.

Now, what to do? Try to enhanced your DYOR, not with the coin's technology as it doesn't have a bearing, but how their price will behave in the market. Only, if you really want to test the waters there.
3429  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Always take profit on: July 28, 2021, 06:56:35 AM

It's obvious that taking profits either thru day trading or short-term hold within the range of $1-$3 won't yield a good profit in the long run.

You also have to consider that you need to monitor your trading activity all day long to somehow get your daily target at best.

It's really a must to take as profits as possible but you can play with your strategy for there for a much higher target rather than secure a $1-$2 profit. A range of $20-$30 would do. If there's no such price movement on that range, test another level like $10 to $20. If still the same, then patience.
3430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Campaign Token on: July 28, 2021, 03:55:31 AM
I don't get your point, but most of the campaigns offer a payout percentage for each campaign they run.
If you want to search for Signature priority campaigns, you can look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0

If you will read some replies just after he posts this, you should know it's about Bounty Campaign wherein OP wants to see some bounties who have a greater allocation for Signature Campaign compare to other bounty parts such as, Twitter, Facebook, Article, etc.

Basically, it's more of a spoonfeed because there are lots of bounties here. OP really needs to check each until he will see the bounty that will be fit to his criteria.

However, there are cases I think that allocation will be adjusted at the end of the bounty if a certain campaign is performing or not. In that case, users might not get the right allocation on the bounty they have joined.
3431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Combination of gambling and trading on: July 28, 2021, 02:19:53 AM
is any one in this category that can help me with advise on how to go about combining trading and gambling at the same time.

Just continue to do it with a minimum spend. Being aggressive won't help as it might give you a problem. Slowly while in the process, you will be used to it. If we do things regularly, our skills enhanced and improve over time.

However, to start with, relax your mind by minimizing your works and activity.

It's fine to work hard but at the same time, work-wise. Only you can help yourself.
3432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 27, 2021, 11:45:02 PM
Well done Hidilyn Diaz! Enjoy your PHP30 Million (~$600K) reward.

And the reward now is estimated at Php 50 Million + several perks and benefits from other companies including an own condo unit.

That will encourage PH athletes more. However, the process is really tough as aside from financial aid, they also need to use their own money to build their progress just like the other PH athlete Eumir Marcial voiced out. Anyways, he's almost close to his Gold medal dream, and his next match is tomorrow, 29th.

Let's see if he can also bring one.
3433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 27, 2021, 11:21:37 PM
By the way, when will we see Romeo again?

On the last update about his status on July 19, if there are no major injuries or concerns about his ankle, it needs at least 2 weeks before he can play again. Counting up to date.

It's over a week now so maybe we can get an update this week or next.

Never saw up-to-date news until now or maybe I just missed those.
3434  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you bullish or bearish this year? on: July 27, 2021, 10:47:50 PM

Bullish all the way but not the type of person that will always expect it to happen of course.

Others should not consider bearish as a disadvantage nor a bad situation in crypto. During the bitcoin's peak, many hope that bitcoin price should at least pullback to a much cheaper price so they can re-enter. It's hard to imagine during that time that the bitcoin price will go back to where it is now.

But the problem is, even their hopes of bitcoin's pullback now happened, still undecided if they will make a re-entry or not. In the end, they will end up regretting again and the cycle just repeats.
3435  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Another KYC requirements ng coins.ph? on: July 27, 2021, 10:34:43 PM
Ang na notice ko lang is lvl 2 verified lng yung account ko so maybe it is one of the reason? if yung account is lvl 3 or higher mas strikto cla sa policy nila maybe because it involves a larger amount of money? Huh

I think 2018 or 2019 nagstart. Sobrang luwag ni coins.ph dati. Kasi 2015 wala pa yang mga follow-ups e. Iyong documents na pinasa ko for the first time tumagal ng ilang taon bago nag-ask ng follow-up. Nag-stop lang last year siguro dahil pandemic at limited workforce then ngayong year wala pa rin kasi more on Binance P2P nag cacashout.

Actually, parang banks lang din. Need lang mag-follow up. Hassle nga lang sa mga walang mapakitang documents like unemployed or self-employed.
3436  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Another USDT possible scam scheme on: July 27, 2021, 10:04:39 PM

May nabasa ako sa PH corner,

Quote

3437  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: July 27, 2021, 09:43:31 PM

3438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ethics of boxing and gambling on: July 26, 2021, 11:59:15 PM
For all boxing fans and for others that may have a view on this, how is this being considered a fully legal activity being supported? And how is betting of people hitting each other being considered as legal and ethical in today´s world?

This kind of discussion is somehow related when the topic is about religion and politics - the argument is based on our own view and no winner to be agreed with.

I'm betting with boxing with no such issues internally and techincally about the sports, so in the end, we have different views about this and any statement that I will say will not be favored to those who are not comfortable overall with the sports.

So I will just put it this way, if what's everyone thinks about this, then just lived with it.
3439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You got a pifzer ? Then you can be eligible for lottery in Poland. on: July 26, 2021, 08:46:22 PM

Those who aren't in favor of the vaccine (not here in the forum but people around me) are saying negative views about it on which in the first place, it should be out of their league since are they aren't even health experts or working in the health industry field? What I mean is, how can they conclude that vaccine is just an all-around sh*t?. And this encouragement offered by the government is even considered as sh*t also.

There is no 100% protection against the virus, even the vaccine. However, at least it gives up some boost to our immune system alongside our own ways of healthy living. Better than f*uc*ing nothing. People from other countries are even lucky to have a good supply. If you don't want that, tell your government to just donate it to those poor countries.

For those people who don't want to get vaccinated, it's better if they will just do some less talk since, after all, they are not forced to undergo vaccine.

The Poland government is doing its best to educate people while at the same time, offering something good in return. That was a great and good initiative towards their people.
3440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Weekly/monthly financial statements, which do you prefer? on: July 26, 2021, 08:17:22 PM
As a way to keep track, would you like to receive regular, maybe weekly or monthly financial statements highlighting wins and losses from a gambling site?

Do you mean a gambling site will automatically send us our financial statement based on what period we have set? Like a subscription either they will send it via from our registered email or to an internal message inbox on the site.

I don't like it as it wasn't necessary to see how's my gambling finances go through all the time. However, when the time comes that I like to see it, just out of curiosity, requesting it to the site shouldn't be a problem as they have records of it.
