3421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: don't rely on gift tokens, balance your time with other things. on: October 27, 2019, 09:28:01 AM
There are no alternatives to bounty companies. Trading is not for everyone and most lose money rather than earn.

Yup and it's not everyone's cup of tea however how do we know if it's not for us? Then we should at least give it a try, sure it will hurt a little but who knows we will have our luck in trading. Needless it really takes a lot of courage and learning before we can at least acquire it.

I would suggest to take some online courses to gain knowledge and skills that soon we can offer in freelancing world.
3422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Unrealistic bounty allocations on: October 27, 2019, 08:38:14 AM
Bitcointalk should no longer allow such unrealistic scam allocations.

In fact, Bitcointalk needs a special arrangement for bounties. Bounty prizes must be paid only with bitcoin and ethereum. If not, such crooks will continue to exploit people's time and labour.

That couldn't happen not unless those projects want a good success rate. Yes, some icos have funds but they allocate it on their development and not for bounty and allocating huge bounty is the only way they see to attract free advertisement.

Quote
Because these people give these bounties not just their time, but their dreams. And no one has the right to upset these people.

You're overstating. I know your point but that still depends on those people whether they'll be just stuck on doing bounty or move on. If you're tired of it then stop.
3423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: dormant addresses are waking up? on: October 27, 2019, 08:02:44 AM
It's about 8 years already passed away now the owner remembered that he had some BTC around 3000. He wants to exchange them now?

Oh no, did the year died? LOL!
Anyway, OP mentioned that the funds were transferred and didn't sell.

Moreover, that person or group surely a long term holder, imagine that he missed or didn't sold his bitcoin when it's on ATH last 2017. That profit he could get tho. Or he really have a lot of bitcoin keeping on different wallets. Envy those guys, erffff.

I truly appreciate Pham. My goal was to acquire 1 $BTC by the end of the year, and thanks to you I found out about $BSV, and now own about 15 BitCoin. My new goal is 30 BitCoin by 12/31/2019.

Wooahhh, that's crazy! HAHAHA!
Well at least he doubled the quantity though not with bitcoin.

Kidding aside, I don't know if that user was aware that bitcoin is different from BSV while that Pham took advantage. I wonder what will be his reaction if he found out BSV is not bitcoin. Perhaps by now someone enlighten him from what he did.
3425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The vast majority of trading volume was faked. on: October 27, 2019, 04:13:55 AM
Guys, please realize that OP posted a link to an article that was posted almost 6 months ago. Both of the articles where from late march of this year, and might not be as accurate as nowadays due to the changing nature of crypto-currencies.

Even if it's posted last 6 months, I doubted that it change as we still see first hand that there is still faking of volumes. And that isn't surprising. What I do now is just use CMC to see for the list of sites. I don't easily deposit my coin/token unless I see there's good order.

The sad part is, many people follow the CMC rank for the exchange, they think Coinbene, BW, fatbtc are one of the top exchanges

Seriously? Fatbtc? That's a dead exchange site. I think you're mistaken when you say one of the top.
3426  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No Bounty For Newbies .. A new war on: October 27, 2019, 03:38:12 AM
What marvels me most, is seeing a newbie joining many bounty campaign through facebook and twitter without much knowledge of the project. Bounties for newbies worth nothing at the end because crowd do partake in it.
Do newbie expect much from such campaign? Without been scammed at the end

Perhaps they aren't aware of that. All they knew is just share everything on social media then they're good. Days are gone when bounty is somehow profitable thus the only person benefited is the team behind every project. Better yet move on and don't blame the community, besides no one is forcing you to join such bounty campaigns.

If you're after the rules, I think some rules clearly indicated that the manager can change the rules when they deem necessary.
3427  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I lost 1.4 bitcoin in a wallet so startign again on: October 26, 2019, 02:57:38 PM
ATTENTION

OP is most likely A SCAMMER
I almost believed his story until he said this:
Ive managed to turn £300 into £840 so far just through a bit of trading and also won a few hundred at a bitcoin casino I found on https://www.best-casino-sites.net/

Lately there have been newbie accounts pretending to be asking for help, but then they start to indirectly advertise their shady websites.
As is the case for OP, he is trying to advertise his brand new(probably scam) gambling website by claiming that he won some BTC from it.

Domain information

Seriously? That's totally BS.
4. Make a deposit and claim your casino bonus
a. Choose your preferred payment method
b. Make a deposit and trigger that bonus

I pity those who will fall for this. And honestly, his story is perfectly plotted.
3428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Swirge.com | A Decentralized Facebook | Earn Rewards for each Post! on: October 26, 2019, 08:33:37 AM
how i can check my balance in the swirge? because i visit all the page in your website and i don't see any page for balance to withdraw the earned token

So how much did you already earned? Hope you earn real value and not just assumed value as it seems their token doesn't have any real value yet.

right now I'm not using the website because i think it's just wasting my time since there is not real value at the moment

Lol! I really thought you're serious on using it.

Btw, if you want to earn at least, give it a shot here.
https://brave.com/brave-ads-on-android/
You can also earn by referral. Oh don't think that link have my referral link. Just sharing as I found brave browser a good one though they require KYC for claiming BAT.

Regards.
3429  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: We've made a new exchange and looking for testers! on: October 26, 2019, 07:45:55 AM
You can test it out with a minimum deposit, wich is pretty low around 10 usd. Also, as I mentioned before, we are more than willing to answer any questions and give any guarantees possible in order to deserve your trust. These tester are a kind of focus group that will take part in making decisions about exchange rulling, new listings etc. Also, doesn't matter if there're alredy users or not. We're aksing for opinions as there's always room for improvement.

You know what, why don't you have a testing coins to be traded on your exchange. I mean, why does the beta testers will be the one to shoulder this? Isn't would be better if you gave all the needs of beta testers and besides they're the one you should pay them.

Don't get me wrong, but you should consider those things to be able to attract users.
3430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real Reason Why Bitcoin Price Shot Up Today on: October 26, 2019, 07:12:03 AM
Whatever the reason for the sudden rise, it definitely give profit to some that bought yesterday. Man, that's a quick bucks!!
I feel like it's manipulation that somehow coincidence with China's announcement. But anyway, it's too early to rejoice, I mean we all use to it though.
3431  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotab Browser on: October 26, 2019, 01:34:21 AM
It is incredible how many cryptocurrency investors and enthusiasts are using this spyware, Chrome...

In addition, Chrome eats your RAM without even realizing it.

Alright, I think I made up my mind. Not gonna install cryptotab browser to avoid malfunction of my phone and laptop. I might gonna give a try for Brave browser. Thanks a lot. Such a great help.

Yaaasss. And I heard you can earn like $.01 in every ad you watch. So basically, you can earn more in brave browser than cryptotabs.

Just heard that cryptotab, tbh.
Also, it's a relief that brave browser was founded by the co founder of Mozilla. *sigh
3432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the discipline help in gambling? on: October 26, 2019, 01:12:22 AM
Should we be disciplined in gambling, does it mean that we are better at gambling, or that we put less money at stake with more enjoyment, less fear, adrenaline, etc. ?
Me interested in answering the last question?

I don't know if there's any answer to that aside from YES.

Put yourself in a situation - What you do when you gamble? do you go all-in every session? Do you chase your loss? Do you still continue after losing a high amount?

If you know what to do in that situation, you are a disciplined gambler.

Perhaps he's in doubt of himself and wondering what it takes to be a disciplined gambler hence how far can he go.

As long as you know how to control things within the game and without taking too much emotion then somehow you'll overcome whatever issue you have. Know your limit even you knew the momentum is there, we never know what will be the next thing could happen.
3433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your most common superstitions? on: October 25, 2019, 01:04:56 PM
Should we blame our ancestors for all of these? HAHA!
Reality is even we know that superstitions don't have any basis yet we still choose to believe those, besides we don't have anything to lose.

Superstitions has already been in our life and we just laugh about it whenever we think we did something stupid and gross.  Tongue
3434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has alt season started? on: October 25, 2019, 12:27:39 PM
Do you believe that it has started? I have a good feeling that I should buy them before winter. Prove me wrong.

I don't know what you see for saying that. The cards are turning their fate with altcoin since last year and whatever hype they did can't closely affect the price.

All I know that only bitcoin season will bloom this year. Don't be fooled by small increase, all is usual.
3435  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Curated list of upcoming ICOs, IEOs, STOs on: October 25, 2019, 01:54:41 AM
Is there any?
I'm rather new to crypto and would love to do fundamental analysis for upcoming coin releases.
Anyone know a site that is curated on a regular basis?
Much appreciated! This forum is a great place (much nicer people than on reddit).
Ralf

Hi Ralf,

You can check ICObench for upcoming crowdsale. Just filter what you want to see and hit enter. They actually have a great list.

Here's the link.
ICObench
I fix the link so it will land you to upcoming icos.

Regards.
3436  Other / Off-topic / Re: BEWARE of Telegram Group Member adding services on: October 25, 2019, 01:30:17 AM
Just adding this to make sure that this post belongs to service section: If you need to advertise your project or group on telegram, we can send custom private messages. We can send your custom message to millions on telegram and we charge 1.2 btc for 1 million messages. We can target users as you want. For example, if you want crypto member, we get user ids from binance, okex groups etc. We can target any field.

That 1.2btc is huge honestly, so what percentage of success you could guarantee for a sales back?

However, how do you filter your clients? I mean what if they render your service but turned out they're scammers? Of course, you don't want to advertise fraud.

https://ibb.co/nwHMC9H

If this is true then shame on them. However, would you mind to screenshot their actual email, I mean by the look and terminologies of email it looks like it just made by random people that don't have idea on how to reply professionally on customer's email despite of the issue.

Sorry, but it looks unprofessional considering they're in the market for years. I smell something not right.
3438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your most common superstitions? on: October 24, 2019, 08:52:58 AM
Gamblers are one of the most superstitious person you can find in this planet. Lots of them, from the clothing to picking numbers to bet.

@Darker45 - I'm also once gambler who fall for that kind of believed, as long as I'm in a winning streak, I I don't take a bath until I break my run.  Grin

That's gross! HAHAHA! Just heard that honestly. I wonder now if it's really effective. 🤔

I only have one superstition, if my palm is itching then probably that's the best time to bet. It work sometimes but often not but it's fine, I know it just a belief and  doesn't have enough basis.
3439  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Please be careful on BITLISH, withdrawal more than 2 weeks on: October 24, 2019, 07:33:33 AM

And to make a correct scam report, follow this link >>> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0
