3441  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FIXED 1xbit new scam. cant connect anymore on: April 06, 2022, 09:56:11 PM
You are correct, this is a new level of shilling which is basically designed to deflect from the real victims that are being created by the 1xbit scammers.

Several of us in the forum have noted every so often newbies come along to make an allegation against the 1xbit scammers then within a few days claim the issue has been resolved and claim they have received all their funds.

It is safe to disregard those claims since no evidence has ever been presented to support the claims.

Every now and then, a newbie posts about his problem with this scam casino, and then, after just a few days, there will be an announcement saying 1XBIT has already fixed the problem. There have already been several similar cases in the "Scam Accusations" section. I think we can safely assume that this is a new level of shilling for 1XBIT scam casino.

The cases mentioned are most likely fake because they don't contain any content or evidence that could be considered as credible and substantive enough, so it is very likely that these are nothing more than paid shills, similar to scammers and sock puppets like Erdogan and Naficopa.

3442  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Thodex: Turkish Crypto Exchange Owner Runs Off After Stealing $2 Billion on: April 06, 2022, 09:50:10 PM
All the news reports I found clearly state he is still missing and wanted even though Turkish police and prosecutors travelled to 4 countries in the search to track him down and bring him to justice:

https://thecoinbaskets.com/the-thodex-indictment-calls-for-40564-years-in-prison-for-the-ceo/
https://beincrypto.com/thodex-indictment-seeks-40k-years-prison-founder-still-missing/

The link you provided cannot be opened now because the page has been removed.

In fact, I didn't fully understand it. Some sources simply write that the prosecutor simply requested such a term for the head of the exchange, and some wrote that he would soon appear in court and be sentenced. But nowhere does it say exactly whether there will be a verdict in person or in absentia. Whether he was caught for sure or not, I only assumed based on the Russian sources I read.

This is a first for me, I never did anything like this on the forum before. Come to think of it I cannot even recall when I last entered any sort of raffle let alone a free one  Smiley

Would it be possible to have slot #3 please? And how is it possible slots are still available so many days after you created the thread?

You have given me some ideas now. I have some old memorabilia hidden away somewhere which might be of interest to the forum members. Time permitting I will try to locate them and if found I might conduct a free/paid raffle or auction of my own.

I'm surprised it has taken this long to get a single entry into a free raffle, but what can I expect with the mean age of 68 around here?

Regarding the reputational issue, it is a foregone conclusion that their reputation cannot be recovered nor repaired and they only have themselves to blame for their demise. You are right their reputation cannot be salvaged now.

About the searching for evidence about 1xbit paying funds to victims of their scam, I never found any evidence in this forum that can prove beyond reasonable doubt that they investigated and repaid stolen funds. Their forum representative seems to go around in circles spouting the same message but there is a complete lack of evidence on their part.

I've been searching for answers or definite names/users that have been paid back their funds that came from the claims of 1xbit, but can't seem to find anything. It's easy to claim that you've done something in the field of crypto without providing any concrete evidence to back up your claim (CSW anyone?), and some people will believe but not us here.

I don't think there is any way 1xbit can salvage their reputation. It is way beyond salvation now.

SELF-MODERATE TO KEEP THE THREAD CLEAN FROM TROLLS, SPAMMERS AND ATTENTION SEEKERS

I have no doubt my post will be deleted in the self-moderated (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5335715.0) thread therefore am posting in a new thread advising members to be careful because if you trade (or try to trade) in buying/selling account and merit you will receive red trust from multiple members including myself:

Most of the accounts in this thread have already been tagged red by several members and I also would like to state that all of those trying to buy or sell accounts and merits will receive negative tags from me too.

I believe most if not all the accounts that has posted here are sock-puppets operated by one puppeteer in order to try to create fake buzz in the hope of selling accounts or in the hope others will send him funds in the hope of receiving an account which the OP probably cannot provide.

Either way, the following will be tagged:

3447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FOOTBALL: UEFA Champions League 2021/22 Season on: April 06, 2022, 10:14:17 AM
Konate managed to score his first goal for Liverpool but the goal from Diaz calmed nerves because at 1-2 up Liverpool were feeling the pressure from Benfica and the home crowd. I think Liverpool will win the home leg of the draw and will qualify for the semi-final with relative ease.

Atletico nearly caught Manchester City on the break numerous times but failed to capitalise. I think what is certain is that Atletico will score in 90 minutes in the return leg in Madrid but I am not sure Manchester City will score. I have a feeling Atletico will go through to the semi-final and it will be Manchester City and Guardiola that will be left bitterly disappointed.

For Liverpool, the result was perfectly good because at 17 minutes Ibrahima Konate open the let with one goal to prepare the mind of their fans that victory is sure at the end of the match. Benfica tried to stop Liverpool not to achieve more goals but at 34 minutes Sadio Mane gave the second goal that caused a big jubilations for the fans, for the early goals they had achieved so far in the match. At 49 minutes Darwin Nurnez helped Benfica to achieve one goal which was giving their fans hope that the match will end up draw, But at 87 minutes Luis Diaz gave the third goal that made the match to end up 1-3 for the favour of Liverpool.

Atletico Madrid struggle to defend the game to end up draw but Manchester city later got the opportunity to defeated Atletico Madrid 0-1 to achieved the victory.
3448  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FIXED 1xbit new scam. cant connect anymore on: April 06, 2022, 09:51:30 AM
There are other accusations in the forum that are popping up against the 1xbit scammers and then are being miraculously solved after which the complainant (the OP) vanishes without explaining anything in detail and without providing evidence that the claim was settled.

They provide no blockchain tx as evidence of them depositing or withdrawing funds, they provide no screenshots as evidence either. I think this is a new tactic the 1xbit scammers are employing to try to dilute their scam around the forum and to try to present themselves in a better light.

When was the first or last time a Legendary or Hero or Senior Member or any member with any decent reputation actually posted in the forum to say they had their funds first seized and returned to them? You are right this is all part of the 1xbit drama to demonstrate they are dealing with customer complaints.

I think Op is not a gambler and OP is a part of the 1xbit who has just tried to advocate  of 1xbit. Op tried to make us sure that 1xbit is working fine and no one will fall on any problem. Op just created 3 posts and all posts consists 1xbit scam. And updated soon that the accusation has ended while a lot of case ongoing but not solved and after solving the case left the forum. While there is  no information of the scam as well as resolution.
3449  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake casino withholding 2.8 million USD. Stay away at all cost! on: April 06, 2022, 09:44:41 AM
Though every complaint should be taken on merit and the evidence looked at, it is very difficult to believe anything from the OP when no evidence is supplied and of course the allegation is being made against Stake which happens to have one of the best reputations in the forum so far alongside just a few others including Primedice, Bustabit/Bustadice and Duelbits (which is also my signature and I would never attach my own reputation to anything shady).

If a case is made against any of them then there has to be strong provable evidence against them because they are reputations-wise probably most unlikely to run off with funds. Stake and the others I mentioned are the complete opposite to say serial scammer Dean Nolan and his betking website which has scammed winners and investors on multiple occasions.

You most probably operate several accounts here but at least one thing can be assured of is that now you have received negative tags from two forum members (therefore you know your LetsGetIt834 account has been rendered useless in the forum), you are trolling in overdrive while trying to seek attention.

I have no idea what this is regarding and there is no username or evidence posted here... I hate to immediately jump to a conclusion but this sounds incredibly unlikely and fake.

Funny you can post here but you can’t respond to my complaint eh. Just proves you guys have personal issues with me. Hopefully this post isn’t a troll. I wouldn’t be shocked if you guys ripped a customer off for 3 mil. Losers.
3450  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Thodex: Turkish Crypto Exchange Owner Runs Off After Stealing $2 Billion on: April 06, 2022, 09:29:33 AM
This whole Thodex scam shows us what we as crypto enthusiasts have always known (but it sometimes it slips to the back of the mind) is that no exchange is 100% safe. If some can cover losses from hacks or alleged hacks by refunding victims then others are susceptible to greed by the exchange owners or operators.

According to a report 391,000 registered users of Thodex have lost funds. He ran off with $2 billion which also was credited as being the biggest fruad in the history of Turkey. If they recover some of the funds the issue as you rightly stated would be who gets their share first. In most cases though the simple investor trying to make some money will probably end up in the bottom of the list maybe receiving nothing.

This is another case of "not your keys, not your coins", While I understand that there are people who may temporarily have funds on exchanges for trading, and it doesn't have to be all stolen cryptocurrencies, there will also be some fiat that people deposit to buy crypto later.

...what cannot be denied is many have been left out of pocket as a result of the Thodex scam that is why the Turkish prosecutors would want heavy sentences to show others what they can expect if they try to scam people.

The problem with these cases is that usually not all that is owed is recovered and, I do not know what the law will be like in Turkey, but I assume that large creditors (e.g. banks) will be paid first if money is recovered. In addition, it will take time for those who had some funds there to recover something.

A pity because I suppose there will be cases where they need that money.

3451  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: April 06, 2022, 09:02:47 AM
I read the post you linked but cannot add anything to it except that it has to be dismissed. I another you posted about the 13 BTC returned to those that made scam accusations against 1xbit does not really satisfy the bigger question: why are there so may scam allegations against 1xbit?

The second question is who exactly did you pay money (if any at all) and where is the evidence?

Are you able to explain why so many scam accusations are lined up against 1xbit?
We tried to do so in this post.
3452  Economy / Reputation / Re: theymos activity on Reddit - A collection of posts on: April 05, 2022, 10:07:33 PM
This was a very interesting thread, I had no knowledge of it before you bumped it. I read some of the statements made by theymos, I had no idea he was a 21 year old student 9 years ago at the time the Reddit AMA took place or that he wrote the Bitcoin Block Explorer.

From time to time I did think about how theymos became the operator (he called himself head admin) of the forum therefore to read about how it happened according to him in his own words was really important.

Thank you for bumping this thread and bringing it to a new audience that missed it the first time you created it Smiley

Bumping after some time (almost 2 years)
3453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FOOTBALL: UEFA Champions League 2021/22 Season on: April 05, 2022, 09:32:02 PM
Here are the results for the games played earlier today:

Benfica 1-3 Liverpool

Manchester City 1-0 Atletico Madrid

You were right Liverpool scored a lot of goals, you were completely right with your 1-3 scoreline. You nearly had the other game score correct too  Grin

At this stage you would have to say Liverpool will qualify for the semi-final but Manchester City still have to go to Atletico and perform well otherwise they will be out of the competition.

@JollyGood I don’t think Liverpool match will end in a draw, because Liverpool likes to score lots of goals hence my prediction is a 3 - 1 victory for Liverpool. Also Atletico kinda got lucky against Manchester United, but against City they’ll need to pray that City player’s are having an off day because I expect City player’s to breach their defences and win by 2 - 0.
3454  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake casino withholding 2.8 million USD. Stay away at all cost! on: April 05, 2022, 09:22:45 PM
~snip~

Stay tuned. I will post all the proofs and update as I can.

I have been completely ignored by stake casino.
Nearly 8 days have passed yet the OP has not presented any evidence and has not even logged in. How can anybody take the claim she was scammed out of $2.8 million seriously?

I have no idea what this is regarding and there is no username or evidence posted here... I hate to immediately jump to a conclusion but this sounds incredibly unlikely and fake.
If someone claiming to have been a multi-million dollar victim of an online casino that stole from her can open an account here to post about it, she should have been able to keep evidence in hand too. She did not supply screenshots or blockchain tx or anything else.

I do not believe her story. Maybe she is from a competitor trying to slur Stake or she could be an attention seeker... maybe she is a he ..
3455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FIFA World Cup 2022: Qualifying Games For Qatar on: April 05, 2022, 08:31:59 PM
I forgot about that...  Grin

Yes the Scottish First Minister and her SNP party are still trying to get the powers in Westminster to allow another referendum in Scotland which would have a simple "Yes" and "No" vote at ballot box.

Adding England vs Scotland as well as England vs Iran and of course Iran vs USA all in Group B makes it one of the most politically charged world cup group stages ever !

I read what you wrote about Wales but if they win the play-off it will be a fascinating group. Imagine Group B will be: England, Iran, USA and one of Wales/Scotland/Ukraine

Imagine, not only will England vs USA take place but England vs Iran and also Iran vs USA will be in the same group. Sports meets politics with all the history between them  Grin
From a political perspective that group is completely crazy, and if I remember correctly Scotland is still looking for their independence so that would add to the political quagmire of that group, but I think the team that most people would like to qualify to the world cup due to everything that is happening right now is Ukraine, still despite all of that I do not think there will ever be a match as intense as the one we saw at the 1986 world cup in the quarterfinals of the tournament when Argentina defeated England with two of the most famous goals ever scored.
3456  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Thodex: Turkish Crypto Exchange Owner Runs Off After Stealing $2 Billion on: April 05, 2022, 04:37:45 PM
I did not know about the arrest and extradition of the ring leader but what cannot be denied is many have been left out of pocket as a result of the Thodex scam that is why the Turkish prosecutors would want heavy sentences to show others what they can expect if they try to scam people.

The impact Bitcoin and other crypto trading is having on the Turkish economy is hard to calculate but people began investing in Bitcoin as means to escape the falling Turkish Lira prices and to invest in something that could bring bigger returns. The government has given crypto businesses space to even open up crypto walk-in shops allowing customers to simply walk in and trade crypto but it is keeping a close eye on them.

Today, I saw the news that it turns out that the runaway CEO of the exchange was caught and extradited from Albania to Turkey. Now a court session is taking place and the prosecutor requested 40,000 years in prison for Faruk Fatih Ozer (!!!).

Article here: Turkey Seeks Thousands of Years Jail Time for Missing Crypto CEO

Serious punishments. Now, if such punishments were practiced everywhere for any crypto scammers, then maybe there would be less deception. In total, 21 defendants are involved in the case, and the prosecutor requested such a huge period for each.

3458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: April 05, 2022, 01:05:28 PM
Here is the Premier League table as it currently stands:

I am sure Arsenal thought they would win the game against Palace last night but it must be bitter sweet for Palace manager Vieira because he was a legend as an Arsenal player.

As I mentioned earlier it is getting very tight in the fight for the 4th spot. It is too difficult to say what will happen because Manchester United and West Ham United are still challenging Arsenal and Tottenham. Maybe you are right, maybe goal difference will play a major part in this.

The result from the game yesterday made the fight for the top 4 place very exciting:

Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal

Who will grab that automatic Champions League spot?

Yeah, that one really surprised me. I had Arsenal as a nailed-on certainty for a top four finish, but now I'm not so sure. And the players will be questioning themselves, too. This will certainly put a dent in their confidence, and there's a chance it will affect them in their next game. This result coupled with that huge Spurs win vs Newcastle does change things a bit. Can Tottenham now hold onto that fourth spot? They do have +5 goal difference on Arsenal now, too.

Your website is full of affiliate links including one for the 1xbit scammers. Did you know the 1xbit (and their sister websites kawbet and 1xbet) are scams? They use their Terms of Service as an excuse to justify stealing funds from those that have balances.

It seems you are not interested in adding more sites unless you have affiliate links but you took the opportunity to promote your own website.

On https://casinosdogecoin.com , we are updating , do you know new sites? , thanks in advance
