Updated Clam Client

To speed things up downloaded the CLAM blockchain - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623147.7740

Checked btc address at Just-Dice > yes CLAMS waiting

Exported private key from Blockchain.info in WIF format

Put importprivkey xxxxxx into CLAM client console > enter > looks ok, blue icon with cross

No CLAMS

Recheck Clam address at just dice, clams still not dug

If I try Just Dice instead is it ok to use the auto allocated account or would it be advisable to set up a user/pass account?

You should set up a user name and password just to be safe.

I highly recommend scanning your .dat with FreeBitcoins after digging fee free at Just-dice... this will insure that you've got all those hidden "change" wallets as well.

https://freebitcoins.com/clamchecker/dig_wallet/  (this feature is now working again!)

Spoke to soon.

Shit is now broke again... will update asap!  Cry
3442  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: FreeBitcoins.com Wallet dig bounty! $500 for a wallet sold that still has digs! on: September 10, 2017, 06:49:22 AM
hey so when i go on the wallet digging site, there's no section for me to upload a wallet, is there a reason? there used to be an area to drop the wallet file, but not showing anymore. see screenshot. http://prntscr.com/giq2c4

Something is fucked up it appears because I see the same thing you are seeing.

I've passed this along to Kef and I'm sure he will get her fixed fast.

We have had some large site updates and we are also adding a wallet dig option to help our Bitcoin Cash diggers... in fact we are going to be dual digging from here out.

I'm willing to bet it has something to do with that.

Sorry about that and I will update here the moment I hear from Kef.

The CLAM wallet dig feature is now working again.

seems like now it gets stuck on "We have not finished processing this upload.", i was even able to upload the same wallet twice and get the same message. "We have not finished processing this upload."

still the same problem like i said above.

I don't even see it in the Wallet Dig history page... I'll pass this along to Kef and we will get her working again.

ok Smiley

He is asleep tonight... hopefully this should be addressed tomorrow.

Thanks for helping me out and letting me know.  I thought it was weird that we haven't had a wallet dig since 9-7.

Business is getting fairly consistant now days.

These CLAM digs should be checking for BCC as well... I'm concerned we got a hiccup in our dual miner as well.  I'm going to work on further testing this myself tomorrow.

Someone asked a technical question on Reddit... if anyone has time to look at it:

In other news:

CLAM is being added to MoneyPot.com

We have launched the Bitcoin Cash digging option on our site!

Right now we only offer solo address digs for BCC... we will be adding the wallet digging feature in the near future (this week hopefully).

The wallet digging will be like our CLAM wallet digger... simply drag and drop your .dat and DONE!

https://freebitcoins.com/clamchecker/dig/bcc/

Our affiliate system currently does not cover Bitcoin Cash :-/ We are working on that after a few update in order to make it work properly with the new system that is coming.  Trust me... I'm one of my own largest affiliates and we will get this complete ASAP.

Thanks for the launch.
It says..'You will receive roughly 0.13428 BTC per BCC (excluding transaction fees).'
Is it a fixed amount for conversion or does it vary ?

It isn't a fixed amount... it can go up and down based on the market and when we liquidate the dig with a market order.

I manually process the market orders and withdraws, so say you dig at 4 AM... the market order may not be executed until 10AM and the market could have since went up or down.

All market orders are executed by me manually within 48 hours.

hey so when i go on the wallet digging site, there's no section for me to upload a wallet, is there a reason? there used to be an area to drop the wallet file, but not showing anymore. see screenshot. http://prntscr.com/giq2c4

Hmmm!  Something isn't right.

I'll forward this to Kef and we will get it fixed right away!

We are updating the website to have a wallet digger for Bitcoin Cash as well right now (we will be dual digging).  It may have something to do with that.

I will let you know right away.

Thank you for bringing that to my attention.

Our CLAM wallet digging feature is now working again!

Sorry for any inconviences <3

Hey, love the site and my first post after a long time lurking and learning. Been investing for 25 plus years and love me some crypto. Really great faucet and the first I have found that I think is really worth my time. Looking forward to learning more about clam and see how I can maybe get involved in some way. Once again great faucet!

Tis a pleasure to have you!

We still have a long way to go and honestly I hope for my site to be a player in Universal Income industry in the future.

Be sure to check out the Bitcoin Cash digger as well... if you use either the CLAM or the BCC digger... it will dig for both in an attempt to maximize your profits.

Let me know if you ever need any help or what not. <3

3455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: FreeBitcoins.com-We buy empty BTC, DOGE and LTC private keys! Bitcoin Cash added on: September 08, 2017, 06:45:00 AM
We have added Bitcoin Cash as an option to earn free Bitcoins today... thus far we have finished off our "solo" address digger and our drag n drop .dat wallet digger should be complete this week!

Everything works the same as our CLAM diggers basically.

https://freebitcoins.com/clamchecker/dig/bcc/

I will keep everyone updated once we finish our entire wallet digger.
3456  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: FreeBitcoins.com Wallet dig bounty! $500 for a wallet sold that still has digs! on: September 08, 2017, 06:41:43 AM
We have added solo digging for Bitcoin Cash this evening:  https://freebitcoins.com/clamchecker/dig/bcc/

Wallet digs for Bitcoin Cash will be coming soon (hopefully this week.)

This bounty will also be honored for our BCC wallet dig program.

For the first time got the kind of wallet, synchronise a week, helped only file botstar, but there is one positive point, I again became the owner of my coins. I'm happy, I want to thank the entire community for advice.

3459  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] BTC, LTC & DOGE addys. Bitcoin Cash to Bitcoin dig option coming soon! on: September 05, 2017, 07:58:13 AM
Our Bitcoin Cash wallet is now synced.

We have two things left before launching the program:

1.  Link in our affiliate program.  Affiliates will earn 2.5% of each Bitcoin Cash dig and this will be paid out via CLAM.  I wish we could pay out via Bitcoin, but it causes a bit of a clusterfuck and our system is designed for Affiliates to earn CLAM.

2.  Default digging for Bitcoin Cash or CLAM will dig for both at once.  If someone attempts to dig BCC... our system will check for CLAM as well and visa versa.  There will be an option to only dig for either or though as well. (Like a check box or something)

After these two things are complete... we will launch.

I am playing with the idea of launching after #1 is done and improving on our system by adding #2, but I've got concerns that our customers could potentially miss a lot of money if it isn't launched fully operational.

Feedback is appreciated & thank you for waiting. <3
3460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest on: September 04, 2017, 05:30:27 AM
You have to put them into the bankroll to earn profit from staking. And then you risk losing coins to winning players.

The rewards from staking almost always outweigh the losses to lucky players, but there is a chance you'll lose some CLAMs.

It means we only risk losing coins to lucky players, but won't gaining coins from unlucky players?

No. You also gain coins when players lose.

Is it possible you give us an option for staking only, or allow us putting for example 90% for staking and 10% for bankroll?

Yes. If you want to stake only you can run your own local wallet. Then you avoid the commission fee as well.

Not to be rude... FreeBitcoins will be offering a staking only option for people who want to be involved with CLAM staking, but are a bit timid about running their own wallet and don't want to take the risk verse players.

This will also fix the CLAM SPAM issue that FreeBitcoins is causing too.

(I'm not sure when this will actually happen, but it is coming after our next feature is released)

I still believe it is going to be more profitable to stake at JD than with FB though.
