skipped a few pages...something you can send anywhere in the world that is fast,secured,cheap,portable,convenient. Something people can gamble/invest/trade on exchanges like stocks and currency but better because you are your own investment company no middle person/s handling your asset/money(bitcoins)...I also think it is a store of value..many average or poor people cannot buy gold, silver and jewelry to store their wealth, even if you see gold or silver many people can be deceived by fake precious metals while crypto currency cannot be faked..bitcoin is a technological revolution like the printing press(the powerful church can't stop it).

Someone had a sell order of 350 CGA's at 0.0019 and I just couldn't resist.. lol, well we'll see what happens, i have faith in the developers we should try some marketing stuff to get off of this dramatic price again, maybe make some kind of a kickstarter project website for CGA where we can donate to the subjects we want to help with or something? Like doge did with nascar  you bought that? wow, i could have bought that too if i have some btc..i'll donate too if there is some sort of marketing like that for CGA. |

this is the new stuff now...never tried it but the reviews says it is better than x1 and x16 risers, 3 feet length and thin wires, you can go creative on your setup with this.  |

is changing algo from scrypt still on the table? my vote goes to x11 like darkcoin..asic and multipool resistant, cooler video cards and lower electric bills.
Probably not... The way I see it is as the scrypt ASIC start to become more and more available CGA will become more and more valuable (due to more hash power = higher difficulty = less CGA per block). So we almost welcome ASIC because it will only help CGA become more elusive. in terms of MH the coin will be more elusive but in terms of electricity and MH the guy with a 50 MHs asic at 3000watts will get more coins than the guy with a 10MH GPU rigs at 3000watts at the same electric bill.. |

It will take a minimum of 50,000 years to mine all 10 Billion. I don't see an issue.  I've raised this question a few times, this is exactly why I think it is an issue. Practically the first thing anyone asks when looking at a new coin is "What is the total number possible?" In the case of CGA the answer is "10 billion". By the time you have gone on to explain why it doesn't matter and because of the algorithm really there are only going to be a few million they have glazed over and moved onto the next coin. Obviously that doesn't apply to the wise people who are already part of the community, but I think it does to the man on the crypto street. If, to all intents and purposes, there can't be more than a few tens of millions then why not set the limit at say 40-50 million? I personally think it would do a lot to help people realise it really is a rare coin. +1 "up to 16 million in your lifetime"...and remove the 10 billion,good enough? |
