in any case , the questions that need to be answered by the OP ASAP

It was already answered by OP (absolutely-positioned) 2 posts above. They have changed their house egde and announce it here:

Quote
We have also made some adjustments to the Return to Player. The RTP is now ~ 98% on average, across all games modes. This change allows us to provide more of a Rakeback (Roowards) to our players. Additionally, this change allows us to give back to community in many ways including; higher giveaway values, higher value and more frequent rains, as well as increased marketing - allowing us to continuously grow the beloved Roobet community.

I wonder how can roulette be a 1% house edge game?
its a common percentage , for American roulette = 5.26% house edge , for European = 2.7%

I said:
@absolutely-positioned Few days ago i've seen "1% house edge" written under each game despite roulette.
Under roulette there was a note: "2.7% house edge"

3444  Local / Polski / Re: Czemu nie nagradzamy sie Meritami? on: December 13, 2019, 03:00:11 PM

3445  Economy / Economics / Re: Money creation system - is bitcoin creation resistant? on: December 13, 2019, 02:13:20 PM
Vis a vis exchanges: I think some exchanges don't intend to be fractional-reserve or bucket-shops at first, but end up becoming bucket-shops, because if they're hacked or lose coins due to a bug, it is easier to fib that they're still solvent and remain popular than tell the truth and make everyone panic to withdraw. Easy for them to fool themselves that "we'll just keep it under wraps while we figure out some way to get solvent again".

Of course, it's hard to distinguish that situation, from the outside, against a situation where they planned to fool around with the deposits from the beginning.
I agree with you. In most cases (if not all cases) exchanges go into fractional reserve to avoid FUD after hacks, bugs or wrong investments. Even CZ during one of intervievs said that he knows about few hacks that happens recently on big exchanges that was not announced. The question is if they have enough funds to cover it from earnings or they have plan to cover it from future earnings implementing fractional reserve system now.
I've also heard that some exchanges simply trades with our coins. Free physical short. Quick dump our coins, trigger stoploss and rebuy them lower (they know where are stoplosses, they can count exactly how much of them will be triggered)

In the more general sense, though, I think the effective monetary base being able to grow bigger than the underlying asset, is impossible to avoid if we expect people to ever use BTC as money, because any lending activity at all increases M2/M0.

Imagine that I loan 100 bitcoins to someone. Afterwards, they have 100 bitcoins, and they have a 100BTC debt to me. And I now have a 100BTC credit against them.

For the moment, let's assume that the borrower is very low risk of defaulting. A well trusted, rich person with plenty of assets to seize if they default.

Now, this means that the market value of my 100BTC credit against them is really 100BTC, right?
And I can sell this debt on to people, for the same value as a bitcoin itself.
It's not quite that. If you borrow 100 BTC you are unable to use them. So the amount of BTC free to use (dump f.e) did not change. Problem starts when you hold your BTC in company that without your knowledge borrow them to others knowing that you most likely won't withdraw.

buying BTC futures on CBOE rather than holding the bitcoins directly & having to worry about key control and so forth. These are debt instruments, not bitcoins, but if they are worth exactly the same amount as bitcoins at market, they still increase the "supply" of BTC on the market, don't they?
This is similar to how many countries use US dollars as a reserve currency, but they don't hold physical bills - they hold some treasury bond or long-term CD so they can at least get a little interest payment on it.

To imagine that Bitcoin will go mainstream and yet avoid this fate, you need to somehow imagine that people will stop borrowing money, which seems impossible in a world that invented debt long before it invented coinage (see also).
Fair point.

Well after 8/8 successful validations i have some insights that would be worth discussing.
1- add an option that will allow cropping graphics from google - sometimes only part photo is useful in flip. It will make creating quality flips much easier.
2- 2 min is sometimes not enough. In fact after 8 validations I've never had 2 min. 1 min 4* sec that's my time since validation loads for 10-20 seconds. I think that 3 min will still not be enough to validate more than 1 account constantly (maybe once per 5 validations having 10 easy flips and this will not increase amount of validated accounts (3 successful validation before dead from 2 wrong)).
3- Big issue in my opinion are wasted invitations. I've sent 5 of them and only 1 succeed. I always send them before short interview (Do you have your node synchronized. Will you take part in validation. Do you know when it is. etc.). How about my invited user miss validation the invitation will come back so I could use it to invite 2 users for next epoch?

@absolutely-positioned Few days ago i've seen "1% house edge" written under each game despite roulette. Now i see that it disappear. I've calculated house edge on dice and its 2,37%. Is it a mistake, temporary increase or permanent? I didn't see any announcement about that. OP still shows 1% house edge.

3448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale revisited on: December 12, 2019, 10:51:30 AM
You should expect losing streaks up to 25 reds on a 50% win chance if you want to stay in the game long enough

It does not matter how many streaks you can survive. If you can survive 25 than your portfolio has be 2^25 times bigger than your initial bet. To double you need to play at least 2^26 times. That gives us 1/2 probability of dying before doubling.
If you can survive only 5 red in a row your portfolio has to be 2^5 times bigger than your initial bet. To double you need to play at least 2^6 times. That gives us 1/2 probability of dying before doubling. Its the same. In both scenario you have 50% chance to double.
3449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Roulette - what to bet on? on: December 12, 2019, 10:34:19 AM
Poker or roulette is the same, the only difference is that you need to know a bit about poker and to be lucky to have good cards, that's all.

In fact, they have nothing in common.
1-roulette is a game in which you play against casino. Statistic advantage is on casino site so it is impossible to win in long term no matter what system you have ... martingale too (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5177375.msg52217862#msg52217862)
2- poker is a game in which you play against other player. None of the players have statistic advantage. Any skill (counting odds and money management f.e.) allows you to earn in long term where luck does not matter (after infinite amount of games every possible card set will hit you good once, bad once - the key to earn is to win as much as it is possible on good once and loss ass little ass possible with bad once) - You can read more here - Play poker to train trading

3451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MATIC LOW PRICE AND THE BEST CHOICE TO BUY NOW on: December 10, 2019, 03:57:04 PM
hello everyone a big panic sell on matic on binance will it recover that mean x4 soon check my dear friends

How many times do you see +250% pump in 15 days without any significant correction? This pump was crazy. Pure manipulation. Don't expect x4 soon ... it will not be recover to average price (average price of last 6 months is around 150 sat - 240 currently). It will be comeback from average price to crazy price. This dump (-66% in 35 min) will scare any investor away for next few months. At least in my opinion. I suggest avoiding gambling on MATIC currently because i would not call it investing/speculating in such circumstances.
3452  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Atm on: December 10, 2019, 11:28:04 AM
I agree to be if I have come across one in my country here. Few other stupid ones could understand what I meant. The only twisted part of it is that what most people request for is bitcoin in paper or coin form. Statistically, do you think the ATM has been evenly distributed throughout the world?

Nooow i get you. You want paper bitcoin to pay with peace of paper in shop and this peace of paper will represent fraction of bitcoin right?

Well the one and only way to do that right by company interesting in making such product is to put private key (with loaded bitcoins) on a peace of paper in a way that it is impossible to read it without vanishing it. That way you could use it, pay in shop etc. (at least if merchant will honor the currency you have) and be sure that is in fact backed by real bitcoins.

The easiest way to do that (and most profitable) by company interesting in making such product is to lock xxx bitcoin on cold wallet and print bank notes with all security (watermark etc.) which value will sum to value of locked bitcoins. Read this thread to know how it may destroy bitcoin. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5094088.0 It is about money creation system used by exchanges but it may also be used by company making bank notes for bitcoin.

There are bitcoin ATM’s all over the world. Are you being purposefully stupid?

It looks like we misunderstood him.

I hope that by tomorrow when we have to validate this problem is solved.

Thanks!
Based on IDENA explorer it must be something small since 114 miners out of 170 are still mining.
I have no issue. Did you update your node to 0.14.3 ? It was not yet announced on telegram but it is visible in wallet. I'm using 0.14.2 and it is working perfectly.
3454  Local / Alternatywne kryptowaluty / Re: Spekulacja na newsach alt/btc on: December 10, 2019, 10:48:30 AM

Zależy jakie newsy i w jakiej sytuacji rynkowej. Czym innym jest news pokroju:

SingularityNET - coin z top 127 CMC właśnie podpisał umowę z PINGAN - firmą o kapitalizacji 180 mld $.
Czyli jednorazowy pozytywny impuls. Reakcja ulicy wygląda tak:
-woooow kupujemy
-czemu to spada?
-oooo nie sprzedajemy

A czym innym jest news pokroju:
"słuchajcie za 60 dni startuje mainnet" albo słynny halving bitcoina. Bo jest to news zapowiadający kolejny news/wydarzenie. Reakcja rynku wygląda tak:
-woooow kupujemy

Mówię tu o Tezos, ENJ, ONE, LINK, TOMO i wiele innych.

To cię ostudzi Smiley Najpierw +250% w 20 dni a potem - 73% w 14 godzin z czego -66% w 35 min. 35 min wystarczyło, by z każdego 1000zł zrobić 340zł.

W dodatku stawia to znane i popularne krypto rozwijające swoje tryby prywatności (jak Litecoin, a nawet Bitcoin) w sytuacji zmuszającej do rezygnacji z nowej funkcjonalności.

3455  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Atm on: December 09, 2019, 11:12:07 PM
The fees are with them like you said (over charging massively to buy & sell).

I've used it twice. Fees (~4%) in fact makes it the worse option for trading but it is not designed for quick buy/sell. It's the most convenient way to exit bitcoin without leaving even a single finger-print.

1- no KYC
2- no bank transfer (IRS won't know about your earnings in bitcoin) because you are getting cash from machine.

ATM's (at least in my country) let you sell bitcoin in a way that no one will ever track it. Operators knows only your BTC address and email.
3456  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Atm on: December 09, 2019, 09:22:23 PM
Crypto currency is known to be a digital currency, a lot of us have suggested that there should be a crypto ATM to ease and hasten the use and general acceptability crypto. But if there be an ATM would it not make it Fiat again and would it still maintain the digital currency value?

There are bunch of crypto ATM's currently.

After quick search on google:
https://coinatmradar.com/ - list of 6210 crypto ATM's all around the globe (for 8 coins - BTC, BCH, ETH, DASH, LTC, ZEC, XMR, DOGE)

3457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Phenomenon of BNB (Fundamental analysis BNB/USD) on: December 09, 2019, 10:59:14 AM
Cryptocurrencies market is the hardest to estimate. There is no fundamental analysis here - such indicators P / E (price earnings ratio) P/BV (price to book value), because everything is at the start-up stage, the functioning of which we will only see in the distant future if the team won't scam us, if no one will develop similar project faster, if no one will invent better product that will make our coin useless, if ... if ... The market is blindly trying to include project prospects, risk, market condition and various of other indicators in the price. Most often market is so confused that it blindly accepts any existing price, because if ... if ... if ... if will happened than this token will take over the world and will be worth even 100x more. But there are more than 10,000 such tokens and only 1 will rule the world. So a moment later, there is a dump and another group of investors becomes bagholders.

Phenomenon of binance and BNB coin:

Binance is currently worth $ 2.4 billion (15.6 $ per token). Let's try to do the fundamental analysis of BNB just like with regular share on stock market (someone ever did that with cryptocurrencies? Is there any other cryptocurrency for which such analysis is possible to do with actual data not prediction about the future performance if.... if.... if...? - the phenomenon of binance - the first coin for which it can be done!)

The volume on binance reaches $ 2 billion a day (spot/margin/futures). This is the value I believe in (it is not inflated by fake trades such as on bitferox). This means that binance's daily income is equal to 0.075% of $ 4 billion (2 billion in transactions means that it was bought for 2 billion and sold for 2 billion and the commission was paid by both sides) = $ 3 million / day = $ 1.1 billion / year. How much can they spend on servers, employees and marketing? I have no idea. Those data are not available.
I estimate $ 300 million? This gives 800 million gross profit. $ 600 million net profit after tax (first estmiate - probably with a big mistake).

This gives us P/E ($ 2.4 billion/$ 600 milion = 4)

This is the first estimation and I must admit that it is amateurish. So I found a slightly more accurate way to evaluate the binance earnings:

The average of the last 8 burns is $ 25,7 million. That is $ 103 million burned annually. What % of profit is that? Whitepaper is silent. I asked the admin of the Polish telegram ...

He replied that until recently this information was in the whitepaper, but it was removed and the value I am asking for is 20%.

So we are saying about $ 515 million of pure profit.

This gives us P/E ($ 2.4 billion/$ 515 milion = 4,66)

The average P / E for nasdaq companies (probably the best comparison, because they are the most popular technology companies) is 20! This means that if BNB were listed on nasdaq, its price should increase 4,3 times.  https://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/ndaq/pe-ratio

The average P / E for S & P500 companies is 22. https://www.multpl.com/s-p-500-pe-ratio/table/by-year

This means that BNB FUNDAMENTALLY is undervalued.

Add to this that nasdaq does not offer:
-25% discount on the company's services for share holders (commission reduction)
- special additional offers for share holders (launchpad/vote for community coins and others acticvities that provides passive income)
-the promised purchase and destruction of 50% of all shares (200 million were created - 100 million were initially promised to be burned. Although there is a dividend, but the average for nasdaq is 1.1% , and binance buys annually for around 3%.
-binance coin is also a blockchain system with more than 80 projects

link
Just remember that BNB are not binance shares, but coin. In addition P/E is only one indicator that i based my anylysis on

I'm not saying to take BNB blindly. But it's definitely worth looking for technical long-term entries, because we are fundamentally at 1/4 of the price you pay on nasdaq for companies with similar profits.

I'm doing basic TA on my binance account while trading. I do not need any special tools. My strategy is based on hunting for a whales to swim with them. So i'm focused on easiest to spot by masses indicators (supports, trend lines) and non technical price actions that will indicate that someone put huge money to eat all supply/demand from technical traders. In June 2019 I've predicted price for end of September 2019 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5154652.msg51484325#msg51484325

Zwycięzcom gratuluję i  proszę o podesłanie adresu BTC na PW.

And i can tell you that your numbers are useless, you know nothing about economy/trading/speculation and i advise against paying you any money for financial advice. Saying that bitcoin price is based on mining cost is like saying that Ferrari price is based on aluminium and steel production cost.

Smiley
Życzę oczywiście powodzenia wszystkim kolekcjonerom Meritów!

Obecnie jesteś w cryptotalk i życzę ci, by jak najdłużej funkcjonowali i płacili dobre pieniądze. Wtedy merity faktycznie nie będą ci potrzebne. Jeśli natomiast mieliby zakończyć kampanię, to bez aktywnie przypływających meritów ciężko będzie znaleźć Ci kolejnego reklamodawcę.
