I am pretty sure the answer is no, but would it be possible to run 1 S1 (possible OC) and 1 BE Cube (on low) with a Corsair Builder 750 PSU?

What is the wattage requirements for the BE Cube?
3443  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying BTC for Paypal on: March 23, 2014, 10:34:15 PM
So you want to buy coins through Paypal?
How many?

You do realize you have to pay first and sent the payment as "to a friend" right?

I cannot send "to a friend" from the country that I'm currently in but I can pay the additional fees.

I need 0.12BTC

Good luck.
Nobody will accept to sent you BTC with the fear of a chargeback.

Pointless post is pointless

Well said.
So why did you post in the first place?

12.7 btc is ~$7k

Most people doublecheck(the last 3 numbers/letters or whatever) when they send a $7k transfer

Why didn't u doublecheck?

^^^ True. I check first five and last five to make sure.

can anyone explain to me what is going on this unit has only been running for like a 4 days at stock settings

AntMiner
Chain#   ASIC#   Frequency   Fan             Temp                                 ASIC status
1                 2                 350          1200              41           xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxooo
2                 32               350             0                 42      oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo

Have you tried powering down?  Mine did that a couple of days ago.  I lost 16 of them.  I just powered down the psu and waited for a couple of minutes, and powered it back up.  Everything was fine.

^^^ What he said. Try it.
Also if you get xxxxx yet your hashing speeds are normal then you are fine.
3448  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: how to know how long it will take to complete a block? on: March 23, 2014, 08:44:10 PM

Is this the value that I have to look "Average generation time for a block (solo)" to know how time I need to close a block? or what?

Yeap

3450  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: March 23, 2014, 07:48:25 PM
Trying to troubleshoot an issue I've been having with mine.  Once every few hours, my S1 will start a fairly quiet beeping session that lasts for 30-60 seconds.  Hashing speed is degraded at this time.  There is sometimes a louder beep announcing the end of the cycle.

It does not appear to be related to internet connectivity, as I monitor my pings fairly closely, and it seems stable during these outages.  The miner is overclocked, but the issue happens even at stock speeds.  The temps on the board seem fairly stable at around 45-46, though it drops into the 30s during these cycles.  Overall HW errors fluctuate from .5-1%.  Any ideas of what could be going on?

I used to have this same issue.
Happened to all my Ants and no, it was not a problem in my network.
Got it fixed with a firmware update, you should give it a try.

It's been in my possession about two weeks, and I updated the firmware first-thing from here.
I'll update again - just to be sure.

It's not a firmware problem.

What version have you got?
v1.4 or v1.5?
can you ping properly?
Do you get ntp errors in your system log?

How can I determine what version I have?
Pings work fine currently (currently not beeping).
No NTP errors in the log.

OK, go to your wan settings through - Network  - Interfaces.
Then EDIT wan connection.
Change DNS to: 8.8.8.8 and add another one as: 8.8.4.4

I think you should be set Smiley

EDIT: The version is shown on your Ants Boards.

Pool settings are correct.  It's been hashing to them fine - except once an hour or so.
I applied the fix remotely.  I'll let you know if it worked.

What PSU are you using?

I'm using the EVGA 1000w P2.  Currently only powering one, will eventually be powering two.

Still happening.  Ping stats from the computer on the same switch show no network outage.

Try using the WiFi connection.
3451  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CEX - Hack in Progress! on: March 23, 2014, 02:06:23 PM
I sent support a message mid hack as the failed attempts were coming in. best they said to do was change my email and password. all attempts were different ip address so the probably had control of a botnet. That kind of makes sense but my password held up so maybe i shouldn't change it.

anyway there is no way to change my username, thats part one of what they need to hack in.

cex should be using a unique id instead of user names in their referral links imo.

They were using Tor

OK, all my Ants had NTP errors.
After disabling them, both from interface and SSH and after giving the right details in connection interface they all worked like a charm Smiley

Also, disabling NTP through SSH for v1.4 to v1.5 is different.
That's why I was asking.

If you have beeping that means you have connection problems.

Check that your connection is stable.

EDIT: Lan or WiFi?
