It is becoming more apparent by the day that banks and financial service companies are beginning to recognize that digital currency will become a real threat to their business sooner or later. They still continue to discount the threat because of Bitcoin high volatilities and lack of trust.
DNotes has been making every effort to avoid the pitfalls that continue to drag down Bitcoin mass acceptance. It is challenging that our industry has little patience to take time to do things right. We continue to believe that staying focused in executing our strategic plans using our building block approach will be the best route to DNotes success. Hope you will enjoy reading the following article as much as I did. Bankers are beginning to be a bit worried. It will be helpful if they are more friendly and supportive; such as working closely with us to become a gateway for people to purchase DNotes easily. Perhaps that day will be here sooner than later, providing more favorable regulations in the near future.
"It is challenging that our industry has little patience to take time to do things right."Yes, very true and the reason? Because most of our industry is under the age of 30 with a significant portion under the age of 21. And that represents the "instant gratification" of the "Me" generation. Now, I'm not saying this is all bad actually, it is good in a way, lots of experimentation and no fear but, little responsibility and lots of "rush to market" without proving the product first. That is where DNotes certainly has an advantage. It is a much more mature, disciplined, endeavor than 95% of the offerings out there and backed by real world business knowledge and acumen. I think it would be safe to say, none of us (or very few) are looking for a quick payout. We understand it takes time and lots of hard work to build value, in any form, and we are committed to this project and the work it will take to make it a continued success. Just my thoughts on the "state of the industry". If you tend to look at price drops as "buying opportunities" then you are one of the long term thinkers. If not, that's ok too, it takes all kinds of investors to make a currency... Well said RJF. To build real value, takes time. That said we do feel a sense of urgency to perform.

I know everybody is looking forward to the upcoming Student CRISP release. I thought I'd quickly post a few extracts for you all to see. This press is to be released (as DYNA stated) on march the 30th. We are hoping for the same successful exposure seen with the previous release that was picked up by Bloomberg, CNBC, Yahoo finance and many other local / market specific media outlets. DYNA, DNotes and Smokey have been very supportive of me by trusting me to work with them on what would be my first Press release. It was really fun to write about such a ground-breaking technology and the currency that will exploit it's advantages better than the rest! hopefully I will be asked in future to help out with other new releases! CRISP for Students - A sneak peek "...CRISP For Student mission is to engage and involve students worldwide to participate by having an ownership stake in the most innovative technology revolution since the Internet, positioning them to benefit from potential high returns and job opportunities..." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...Alan Yong, DNotes Co-Founder and pioneer of the first commercial tablet computer, warns that student loans are a major threat to long-term wealth accumulation and overall student well-being. Yong points to research by the Assets and Education Initiative (AEDI), that found students with outstanding debt, regardless of how little, are more likely to defer the purchase of revenue generating assets till later in adulthood... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...“Yong added that The current student generation may not have access to publicly funded retirement entitlements in the future. This is why the DNotes team has moved to alleviate inadequate private savings...------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...CRISP for Students will become an integral part of DNotes ecosystem, with plans to include a conduit of scholar funds and an online global student marketplace. This is a global initiative to build the next generation of DNotes leaders and stakeholders, leading to mass consumer and mass merchant adoption of DNotes as a medium of exchange. Looking excellent TeeGee!

Love Dnotes, have since the beginning That said and i hate to be a wallet whiner but could the wallet get a facelift on the next update? Check out WDC wallet, it's pretty sweet and even checks for updated versions of itself. It only makes sense from an adoption standpoint. People buy new cell phones every year because they want the latest and greatest gadget, this mindset is not going to like the look of the standard qt wallet. Love Dnotes! Thank you for the suggestion and support CryptoJohn. It's definitely something that has been on our minds as well.

yeah, i cant sleep and enter polo to take a look, just share info, im out btc. so others in comunity can take advantaje. Thanks for your concern. There has been more selling of DNotes than we have seen for quite sometime. Our core supporters are always adding more DNotes to their stake. We will continue to do that and commit to a significant PR budget to promote better awareness of DNotes. We are on schedule to launch CRISP For Students next week. This will be supported by another press release with far reaching distribution to include the education market and the Chicago land area. On a long term prospective, DNotes is adding fundamental values to its ecosystem everyday. That is what is important, the building blocks and reaching to different segments of Society..I have been with DNOTES from day 1 and love the way it has grown.. I bought over 70 Dnotes the other day before my migraine just from clicking faucets for a few days..It's amazing how they add up..will add them and a few more to my pension plan.. This is a Crypto not to be messed with.. Thanks, Qiwoman2. Your support and confidence in DNotes is well appreciated. My view of a long term investment is 5 to 10 years in the business world. Unfortunately, in the digital currency world, long term is measured by the weeks or months. DNotes is likely to have the largest number of long term stakeholders who have committed their investment for years. That is where the real payoff is. I just wanted to highlight Dyna's comment " DNotes is adding fundamental values to its ecosystem everyday" because it says a lot, very subtly. This should be quoted in our next press release.

[Sigh] 650 Dnotes @ 5150
The IndiaMikeZulu spirit is willing, but the monetary flesh is weak. Just spread too thin for a coupla months -- then, pending developments, we'd like to hold a lot more Dnotes.

Thanks IMZ, every little bit helps.

When an anti crypto advocate uses drug trade as an argument, kindly direct them to this old article. 90 percent of U.S. bills carry traces of cocaine-100 percent of bills from a few large urban areas tested positive for cocaine -The average US bill stays in circulation for 20 months -Although the contaminated bills do not affect health, they could cause a false positive drug test if a person handles contaminated currency repeatedly (for example a bank teller) http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/08/14/cocaine.traces.money/Those are pretty incredible stats. All forms of currency will be used for illegal activities, it is inevitable. In fact, cryptocurrency inherently makes it more difficult to hide your identity from authorities, because you eventually will have to spend your coins, leaving a traceable foot print. In the early days, people who used cryptocurrency to purchase on the black market websites, probably didn't realize this.

Woo hoo! 1,000 Dnotes for me! It goes into our Dnotes 'capital account.'
So . . . if at this point . . . anyone expresses enthusiasm to experiment with NOTE trades on 'Un-Ex,' leave a note here, and I will post a link.
Mark (IndiaMikeZulu), Australia
Thanks again Mark! Best wishes with your 'Un-Ex' trading platform. We'll have to take a closer look.

The CRISP Word Contest - WINNERS! Thank you everyone for the awesome entries!!! CRISP Dictionary Definition#1Cryptobroker79: CRISP /krisp/ abbreviation cryptocurrency investment savings plan noun: CRISP, plural noun: CRISPS 1. -a DNotes global Initiative, designed to bring cryptocurrency to the everyday person. -a long term savings plan, using DNotes as the investment vehicle. -an alternative to traditional investments, savings, and retirement plans. verb:CRISP, past tense:CRISPed, present participle:CRISPing 1. set aside wealth for the future. "I CRISP for my future" 2. previously set up a CRISP. "sure glad I CRISPed, it's out performed all of my other investments" 3. using a cryptocurrency investment savings plan. "I've been CRISPing for years now, and my finances have never looked better" #2cojack: Crisparian [krisp-er-ēən] noun An experienced CRISP user. #3 (Tie) kanus1113: CRISP (Cryptocurrency Investment Savings Plan) - A group of programs designed to aid individuals and groups save digital currency as a long term investment. IMZ: Phrasal verb: crisp up: 'to gleefully own large amounts of CRISP,' as in 'Wow! I'm CRISPed right up at this point!" *********** CRISP Customized#1 - Customized for Organizations / Crisp GeneratorBoscoBlue / RJF / DNotes (Joint Entry): Boscoe Blue - Organizations may benefit from using CRISP, where the organizer can customize and contribute to their own CRISP program. For example, employee matching programs. RJF - Perhaps, in the future, we could have a "CRISP Generator" where you just plug in the required amounts, fund name and purpose, pick from a list what you want to calculate, etc and submit it for review and possible posting if acceptable. Of course there would be rules and guidelines and the creation process would rely on drop down choices to keep things in line and formatted as DNotes wishes. People could apply for a CRISP Hosting account at the time. DNotes - Agreed, that sounds like a good idea. An organization would apply for registration. Get their own landing page like ABCOrganization.DNotesVault.com, registrations through that landing page would be tied to that organizations account. As well as an organizational administration panel where they could approve registrations and add 'rules' for accounts tied to that organization, like fund matching or initial sign up bonus. What type of organizations might be interested in something like this? RJF - I would think the list is long and distinguished. Schools, volunteer Fire/Rescue/OEM, public service such as Rotary, Masons, Optimists, Scout Troops, Charities, etc. Anybody that wants to offer an incentive for joining, serving or remaining a member. ******** #2 - CRISP for FamiliesRJF: CRISP for Families! Either a CRISP for Families, or a pre-configured generator to create simple family CRISP Plans where Mom or Dad can "plug in" their configuration and comfort level, include their children, and end up with their own, family oriented, savings plan/account all rolled up in one CRISP customized for them. With growing distrust in banks and other financial entities and managers, people are starting to take their investments into their own hands, what better way to do this than a DNotes savings plan that you customize for your own needs and expectations? I can foresee a lot of activity with this and that is the main reason a self management system should be developed to take off DNotes developers. And, as always, the chance for much greater than traditional returns is always there. I think this would be a template for all future CRISP plans if developed with flexibility in mind. Later on we can role crypto currency conversion into the system to allow for the deposit of other coins and their automatic conversion into DNotes being instantly added to your vault. And keep in mind, unlike groups and businesses, families are free to open accounts as they wish without going through "due process" and loosing time and money waiting. ********** #3 - Lottery CRISP for VacationTeeGee: How about a lottery CRISP for Vacation too? People enter by throwing in say 2000 DNotes, and the moment the vacation lottery fund reaches say $5000 USD, whether by price appreciation, or more DNotes triggering the 5k limit - contributors are given a chance to win based on their proportion of the vacation fund they put in. Could be an interesting 'third party' CRISP that a private individual could run as a sort of promotional lottery for DNotes or something. ********** CRISP Board Game #1cojack - CRISP Watch Board Game#2infovortice - CRISPers 4 Dnotes. #3 (tie) kanus1113: CRISPopoly (lol) Similar to monopoly, except the objective is... Once the 'exchange' runs out of DNotes, you win the game if you saved the most. It's a work in progress lol, but you get the picture. BoscoBlue: Digital Life. A spin on the game of life that is all digital and allows opportunities to put money into CRISP accounts? Congratulations to all of our WINNERS!! Since CRISP is now officially added to DNotes' Dictonary, we are all winners. Great job, Chase and thank you all. Congratulations everyone who won. I will work out prizes once I talk to Chase.

All, It is getting close to launch time for CRISP for Students. We are wrapping up the coding and functionality on my end while Alan and TeeGee are working hard on the write ups and press release. I thought it would be a good idea to bring TeeGee's past back up for further comments. Here is a link to this post to review some of the comments and suggestions. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=470155.msg10619728#msg10619728CRISP for Students Hello fellow DNotes community members! As you may be aware, the DNote's team plan on rolling out CRISP for students the week beginning march the 30th. I would like to ask the community for feedback and ideas about what you think would make a great program that provides incentives for young students to enter the cryptosphere, and save their DNotes with the goal that they will provide an escape from rising student loan debt. The first objective is to give interested students the ownership/user experience of DNotes without having to purchase them. The second objective is to provide a large variety of bounty offerings to students where they may participate in projects that will further the DNotes strategic vision (like marketing etc). The original offering will be a registration page where Students can enter their email address, DNotes address, university, and courses of study with the option to leave personalised messages for the DNotes team. After the initial 200 accounts paying 500 DNotes are used up, separate universities and other groups will be provided with unique codes that they will be able to distribute to their attending members, who will then register with their individual details listed above to be gifted DNotes (100 initially), with each unique user being able to use the code once. In this initial posting, I am interested in community ideas that meet the two primary objectives outlined above for: 1: Best way to mitigate cunning students from scamming the system by registering more than once with separate e-mails (let's be honest... who doesn't want more DNotes? ). 2: Future ideas that could be improve or complement the student CRISP in future. 3: The most effective mediums to promote CRISP for students and its launch - Facebook groups, bitcointalk, twitter, student forums, infographics etc? 4: The best way to communicate value of cryptocurrency, and DNotes to students. For example: "Heard of Bitcoin...? yeah? Well, this coin is more stable and appropriate to be used as money, and one day in the future your 100 DNotes could be worth $x, if you look at the DNotes price chart, you will see there is every possibility that DNotes will be even better than Bitcoin over the long term!" 5: Any modifications I should make to this list for the community to consider? (1.30am so I might have missed something, but will edit and maybe re-post tomorrow after reading all of your replies!).

Chase (also having some fun ): CRISP Fund Baby Definition - Modern day replacement of the "trust fund baby". A child born to, or receiving a gift from, someone with a large amount of DNotes. The parent or gift giver set up a CRISP for the child when they were born or very young and the child is now able to live off the appreciated value of the CRISP. While the term "trust fund baby" carries negative connotations of never having to work, the grown up "CRISP fund baby" tends to be hard working and appreciative of what their parents did for them. Non-competitive EntriesChase: CRISP For Customer Loyalty: This would work better, at least at first, on larger purchases like vehicles, appliances, furniture, equipment, etc. Because you are already sitting down filling out the paperwork on such sales, setting up a CRISP would be simple. As an incentive to remain loyal to a specific retailer, a small percentage of the sale would go towards establishing, or further contributing to, a CRISP for the customer. It could evolve to include a point system (which could include major retailers) where a certain amount of points allows you to purchase one DNote. Dyna: By popular demand (if that turns out to be the case) CRISP For 1st Time Home Buyer could be a good idea.
