Brothers! Just a reminder, round 2 will be starting from tomorrow. Make your picks if you do not want to regrate later. 😉
3442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 15, 2021, 05:22:20 PM
Congratulations @buwaytress! Clearly you won this round. It was fun being in the race.
3443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 15, 2021, 04:25:44 PM
@buwaytress the closeness is the difference between us now. I have no idea how they calculate it LOL

I need City to win and you need Tottenham. If this match ends with a draw, then this closeness will make me winner for the round 🤣

I cheer for City only when I gamble, and I can cheer for them today since there are some benefits behind for me 🤪

By the way, what do we get if we win a round?

PS: I do not see Toke on the pool. Did we ban him for real?  😜

That's probably the closest I've ever come to big money with my insanely stupidly long accumulators.
How many legs did you have on this acca and how many came correct?
3444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 14, 2021, 08:02:35 PM
I think it's a very cool shirt that promotes Bitcoin, so I'd gladly accept it as a gift  Cool
Cool, there you have it brother.
3445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 14, 2021, 07:24:48 PM
PS: Won a shirt but thinking to give it away on the next Liverpool match and if not possible then tomorrow in the City match. Jeremy needs to give me a heads-up ☺ï¸
Who wants this shirt that I won?

  or

First guy to make a post showing interest will get the shirt. Only from this pool, by the way.

For me, it's fun joining any contest and I am more than happy to gift it to someone who really needs it.

Best of luck to both of you.
Thanks brother. Looking forward to an exciting tomorrow.
3446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 14, 2021, 06:42:13 PM
We are so much better with Van Dijk back from injury.
It was hard for us in the last season without him. Salah has goals now in 5 opening premier league match. Mane still have time to come out from the bad form. Overall, boys were outstanding in the ground.

hey, man! you're back! hope to see you around more often this season  Smiley
Yes I am! 🤭
Oh yeah, I am hanging out here for the entire season.

Or maybe I'm not understanding what you mean after all =)
Tether is explaining below

In the last pool, 3rd-5th place were all tied with closeness so it'd be helpful to know how scoring works and what Superbru doesn't tell you, no?  Roll Eyes
I am still trying to figure it out. Can you explain it in English LOL
3447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 14, 2021, 06:38:28 PM
@buwaytress,
Good start brother! Both of us has 14 points so far from the round. Hopefully tomorrow we will have another good day. I had Watford to win, but then at the last minutes or so I changed it to Villa to win. Wrong move is costing me or I would have another 1.5 points LOL

PS: Won a shirt but thinking to give it away on the next Liverpool match and if not possible then tomorrow in the City match. Jeremy needs to give me a heads-up ☺️

Terrible start for me again in this EPL predictor. Just 8 points from the first few matches. Was really close to some getting correct scores but just couldnt. Norwich missed that big chance in the end and must got mad for it. Hopefully i get 3-6 points from the last 2 matches to jump into top 10
Still the whole season ahead. Don't worry. Plenty of times to be better.
Liverpool was outstanding. Just loved it. It's good to stay under the radar, no pressure.
3448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 14, 2021, 01:45:50 PM
It's a brilliant start for Utd. Leeds would like to forget this match. Most of all, they have regretted the equalizer 🤣

What's with this new McDonald's hat?

$50k is not far!

Some guys just seem to love maintaining a J.O.B.

I think that they just like picking up normie girls there during the times that it is more difficult to play the baller angle.   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
The dude still working for Mac 😂
Come on Mic! Don't spend much on chicks 😜

Regarding $50k, I am kind of thinking that there might be a bit of a spurt up to $53k, if it comes at some point, but I am also thinking that $50k does not matter so much because we have already gravitated at $46k long enough to know that the bottom is quite likely to be "in" so the poll has become irrelevant in regards to feasibly reaching the downside... so whether $50k takes a few hours or a month to play out, it seems that we are at least going to get that far, and then perhaps there might be a bit of resistance between $53k and $58k and getting above $58k will likely cause difficulties in keeping the bad boy down.. and gosh it may well already be too late to keep the bad boy down since we crossed over $46k.. but I hate to be too presumptuous, too.
+1

One of the reason I don't feel motivated that I never had smerit to send out 😡
3450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 14, 2021, 10:08:46 AM
I did back Brentford, and I didn't even hedge them in this one. Picked 2-0, and they were in my parlay yesterday (I just ruined it by adding Monaco to it eff me). I know I said this season I'm going to learnt to not keep backing the underdog but this was only a 45/10 team, and yeah, remember Arsenal last season? Betting against them would win you a lot of money over the season and it looks like they're same old, same old.
I don't mind you (Sojourner) to get points. If we have a season with upset matches most of the time, then you will be the one who will have top score LOL. You and HHampuz (if I am not wrong) are the one who always go with unusual picks all the time. I guess you feel thrilled by doing that 😂

Now I'm just 9 games away from £22,000 (in case you're new to the pool, there's a cash prize from Superbru for 9 or 10 exact picks in a Match Week). It's ridiculously difficult to win of course but hey.
Looking for perfect emoji but let's have this 🤓 for now

PS: Responding to cygan here
Game 1:  22'
Game 2:  22'

it looks like our girl has had the right touch with the 22 minute of the first game. Wink
Indeed ☺️
This was my third try in this thread. First I had two different minutes for the matches, OP sent me a PM. Realized I need to change my time. So went with 21 minutes for both, but then checked hilariousandco already had 21 minutes, so went with 22 for both.

To kill bitcoin you will need to kill all the live nodes with whatever back up data people have. How it's not decentralized?
3453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 13, 2021, 11:05:40 AM
Actually, the competitions are different things with different energies and seriousness. However, since Leicester came to the league on their first arrival and shocked the world I have been really wary of writing any team that comes from relegation off completely. Liverpool will find the league hard to win, they lost some of their key players during the transfer season. They have not really made any major signings except I'm not being consistent with their news. I, myself ticked Manchester United to win the league because of the arrival of Jardon Sancho and Cavani is staying.
Utd were doing great in the last season. Liverpool had too many injuries that was costing them in the middle of the season. City still looks strong. We may need to see a few rounds of football before making any assumption.
3454  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 13, 2021, 11:01:47 AM
For Euro-landers, we're nearing 40k €... Could easily go beyond it today.
We need $50k mark again. It's been long time since we are below 50k
3455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 13, 2021, 10:38:23 AM
Brentford was an interesting team during the friendlies unlike Arsenal, the Premier League officially kicks off today. My expectations are highly on the home team to surprise the superior team. It has been a very long time they appeared in the top tier league. It will be a super brawl. 2-2 predictions.
Not sure about their strength, but club friendlies and professional league match are completely different. I would be looking at Arsenal to win today.

By the way not many people are thinking of Liverpool. Really!

3456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 13, 2021, 10:27:27 AM
Actually I remember them from last seasons so they are definitely now new:)
My bad. I must miss them from last year.

Welcome back, I seem to remember you were missing for a while because of life and work? It happens to all of us, so we're happy to have you back.
It's combined with all. More importantly, lack of interest after a few weeks gap. Sometimes you just don't feel doing something that you are once interested. Besides no football, especially no PL means not much for me to talk about. Let Liverpool have a brilliant season, I will have some exciting time here too ☺️

By the way, who will be top three in the league? Any wild guess?

Too bad for the hacker, but good for the industry. This is a good event, after all.

All those years people had the fear of bitcoin and other crypto are being vulnerable and if they are gone then there are no chance to get them back, but this event is going to change that perception.
