3441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL, HODL, HODL when can one actually sell Bitcoin? on: October 29, 2021, 10:53:23 PM
Whether you hold or "hodl" your bitcoins or sell them is entirely up to you.  There is no hard-fast rule that states you must do this or do that in order to sell that exists, so you do what you have to do.  That being said everyone is always saying "hodl" because that is how we will drive up the value of bitcoin.  By selling bitcoin  you are driving the value down. So this is why.
Exactly, nobody can make these decisions for you and nobody is forcing anyone to hold. HODL is a personal decision, it doesn't affect anyone but you (unless moving massive amounts) in which case it can affect the market.

That being said, any BTC positions should (in my view) not be closed under 100K. With the momentum that Bitcoin has it seems that 65K is but a temporary hold.
Indeed a personal decision but there are people who are really that active on hearing out other peoples suggestions and recommendations which do really end up for them to change or alter out their earlier plans or goals because they had influenced into those words and made corresponding action which is connected to that and if things turns out to be bad or wasnt really go as planned then regrets would really be always in the end.
HODLING was never an easy stuff even some people do see it to be simple but it isnt when you are on the feet of those hodlers.

Its great to see some predictions that focus more on Bitcointalk forum, this can be a good addition.
Is this already the big updates or there’s something big to come? I thought the whole update is about rebranding and making the site more attractive. Well this is still a good one though a bit unexpected.
Didnt really expect for some rebranding or total overhaul of the site or much totally different in terms of lines been offered because basing just on the site name itself then you could presume that things wont really be changing that much and now that they added up bitcointalk connected events
then its really good to look at but i wont really be seeing this to be that effective nor really put up more interest on the users of this forum.
3443  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking Profits on: October 29, 2021, 08:28:14 PM
if you want to earn here without any valid reason, I think your direction here will become vague dude,
but if you know what you are aiming here as individual trader, perhaps, you will surely know the answer to your own question.
Everyone aims for profit and nothing else, right? So, how efficiently making use of the peaks like sudden rise or gradual rise would be the matter of question here. Every individual will prefer to get quicker profits in my opinion as they do believe in more active trading until they gain experiences on dangers of booking at small profits.

Only when you learn about the power of long term holding then you will come to the practice of aiming for gradual rise and then might go for booking profits only at trend reversal.
Of course we do have different decisions whether on when we do take profits and on what level we do consider out on securing those. So its a person type of choice because not all would really be having the same mindset in doing so.Profit taking is what we do always aim since from the start and its up to someones  preference on when and what time they should really be doing it because there are various factors or conditions might really be affecting
our decision midway thats why it do really vary.
3444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fiat-betting to crypto+betting on: October 29, 2021, 07:30:19 PM
What advantage does the crypto betting has over Fait betting?

The only advantage is the true essence of crypto: It's borderless and can't be controlled. So you can bet from anywhere without being afraid to lost your money.

But it has some disadvantages too, of course: with crypto betting is much more easier for books to block you and steal your money.
Well crypto gambling has the advantage that you dont need to use your bank account again and again to transfer money which we dont want to do when we are gambling specially in my country, as banks may ask what are you doing with so many transactions, so this is the advantage i feel, you can keep all your winning online in wallet and can withdraw according to your needs.
Banks are really that keen when it comes to transactions made out of their clients and if they do find out some suspicious transactions or totally had violated up their terms and conditions then they do have the full rights on what are  the things should be done which is mostly trying to block you out on using up your card when it comes on playing gambling which is totally opposite when you do make use of crypto which you could make out deposits
and play all you want without the worry of being locked or traced or something like that.
3445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: October and December are the months of Crypto ??? on: October 28, 2021, 11:34:24 PM
Do you think October and December are the months of Crypto and BTC?
We can't predict it for now. It's time to answer it. But, according to year-over-year data, nearing the end of the year there is more experience of a decline in trading in the market. Baaru at the beginning of the year, many token tokens are up trend. Just like last year.
When it comes to price predictions then this is something that cant really be precisely known because this had been always an unpredictable thing.
It is just people cant really ignore on what happened in the past or simply with history itself where price do move significantly with these months.
But somewhat it doesnt mean that what happens in the past will definitely happen in the future considering that level of adoption
is totally different as we do progress on and this is where experience would give out edge on how you do handle the situation.
3446  Economy / Gambling / Re: Automated Betting Software on: October 28, 2021, 10:30:49 PM
---
OK now it is way clearer what you want, but I am sorry to tell you this but what you did is probably the easy part, figuring out a way to have an edge over the casino is the hard part, however not all is lost, until you find someone that wants to partner with you it is a good idea that you concentrate yourself on arbitrage bets, due to their nature you will not obtain a lot of profits with them but if you are using an automated system then this is easy money for you.
Creating systems or something similar could really be possible but im not really that a fan on believing that they could really take out some advantage
on house itself or even making some arbitrage system which focuses on sports then they could really make some possible profits but i doubt
that he could really be able to find out some partner or someone who would share up on the same idea.Good luck OP!
3447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Slovenia getting ready to tax crypto. Will others follow? on: October 28, 2021, 09:31:50 PM
Slovenia is one of the Cryptocurrency Tigers around Europe. Last April the Finance Ministry of Slovenia proposed a law to levy a 10% tax on all fiat-to-crypto conversions and cryptocurrency transfers. Now the country is getting ready to start taxing cryptos. Given that this will work out as an experiment in the eyes of several countries if everything goes well many other countries in Europe should follow.

Thing is, it puzzles me how are they going to tax cryptos... what sort of technics will the country develop to track all cryptocurrencies in circulation?
Actually the country where i do live in did really make out that kind of proposed bill about taxation of crypto earnings but it did turn out that everything is still on pending because how it could really be done so? If they would just focus on centralized platforms or wallets on where their citizens been cashing out or making conversion then its possible but in overall filtering then its impossible because there are lots of ways for people to cash out or convert
without passing  into these platforms which means they cant really still able to do so but well lets see on how they would be implementing on things.
3448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling addiction is getting real on: October 28, 2021, 08:21:08 PM
Totally . Decided to quit gambling for now ( after this weekend UFC ) as already placed my bet and once i started exclusion my money is stucked on stake. Will start my 1month/3month gambling exclusion once i withdraw my money from Stake.com.

Yes ,it was dumb to go that much in gambling and 'chasing' my lost and snowballing to huge amount. Learnt from my mistake and hope no one do the same mistake like I did.
yeah, it is. no matter how well off you are(financially) it was never or never will be a good idea to chase your losses. [...]
And there are still people who will insist that they are only for entertainment/fun in gambling instead of having/getting profits, there's no fun of getting lost all the time actually.
Even if you do actually have that in mind that you are playing with entertainment then its really impossible for you on not to make out some sort of reaction because we do value money and we dont like for it to lose thats why no matter how you divert those kind of things in mind but it cant really be avoided
since we are just humans and these kind of reactions is totally normal. You should avoid on getting addicted on all cost because this would really be problem that you would really be facing on which isnt something easy for it to be resolved out.
3449  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon musk now the richest man in earth on: October 27, 2021, 10:59:19 PM
he still strongly rejects everything related to bitcoin.
No mate. He doesn't reject bitcoin anymore, there's a new tweet from him that he said he only owns bitcoin, ethereum, and dogecoin. And that's why those that don't like him because he keeps on saying rejection about bitcoin before, started to like him back.
We don't know how long he's going to tell that again and maybe in the nearest future, there's going to be a change of heart again from him and would bash bitcoin once again.
As a billionaire then it wont really be that giving out some good feels when a huge community would really be having a bad impression to you because you do have negative views and impression towards bitcoin where the community will normally react and hate all things that do hate bitcoin itself.
If he owned bitcoin then that will really changed up things and people who hate him would like him back. On this community it doesnt really matter
if  you are a billionaire or average joe because we do all believe on the same thing.
3450  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🤜 GamblingBro.com 🤛 Honest crypto casino reviews ✅ Tested with real deposits ✅ on: October 27, 2021, 09:57:25 PM

I'm sure with the many accusations here and bad feedbacks it will be classified as a scam casino, GamblingBro.com's reputation will be in a bad light if he classified 1XBIT as a site worthy to deposit to play or better ignore this request they don't deserve to be added in a reputable casino, gambling is risky evermore risky if you play in 1XBIT.

I do not know where you have such conclusions from? After all, I am not asking him to do a positive review, but the honest one.
Everyone has the right to present own opinion. My poin of view is that most of the reviews about 1xBit come from people who violated the rules and were caught doing it, or from people who have not even visited the 1xBit platform. So let's let a professional do it.

The situation with 1xBit, Bitstarz, and some other brands that have negative trust here on bitcointalk is a bit difficult. Before making a review of any of those casinos I will have to go through all the open scam accusations against these brands. After analyzing all the cases I will need to decide, whether the casino in question is breaking the T&C and can be considered as a scam or not. If it will appear to be a scam, then I would write a detailed explanation describing my point of view, instead of a review. If those accusations are the result of some miscommunication or another reason, then there is a chance that the casino will be reviewed.

As you understand this approach will require a lot of research and will take a lot of time, so those problematic brands are located at the very end of my to-do list.
Having real experience before making a review is really a good move but if you do base up on countless complaints and issues of those sites
mentioned above then you could really say that it is indeed true but well its your choice since this is your way of verifying things
but in overall then it is just common sense that you would really make out some finalization once you had read up all of those
words that came from the community.
3451  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you making money with BOTS or Copy Trading? on: October 27, 2021, 08:13:28 PM
As a trader, we should rely on our strategies because the market is volatile and bots are incapable of making informed decisions.

Copy trading can be helpful and risky. Since you rely on an individual for your trades, there are both risks and profits. It is important to run a background check on a master trader and  do not copy from a single trader.
you have point mate, its always good to take the the job than working it for bots because we don't how safe it is. Indeed not all can really guarantee when it comes to this so volatile market wherein even experts cannot prevent doing mistakes,. How much more that bots if there's an error as well? Seems skeptical..
Maybe copy trade i will agree that you can obtain good profits from it but of course it depends as well if you follow a good trader wherein those have risk management because for sure your money is always safe.. If not it's like you're just guessing and trying your luck if you can get good return from it or not.. So all i suggest to all newbies be wise when it comes copy paste trading, follow those have good win rate and also with risk management to assure your trade is in a safe hand.  Wink
I dont know on where you do consider out on things to be safe because this isnt talking something like that for you to entrust your trades on bots that are
pre-set up and this is where self knowledge and skills will vary because this is the part you would really be making use of that on the time you do make
use bots and just like what others posted above about those wrong perceptions or views towards trading bots which is actually true and on point.
Bots are good in use when you are far away on your pc but if not then its better to do manual.
3452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling addiction is getting real on: October 27, 2021, 07:14:20 PM
lost 20k in 2 days , used up all my profits from my portfolio , and i just wanted to keep on going . how you guys stop yourself from betting/gambling on casino ?

looking for ways to bet on sportsbook but not on casino , but stake does not provide the option for that .  Undecided
When it comes to gambling addiction then its a personal type of problem which means that you are the only ones who could solve it out.If you do find that you are already spending lots or tons of money in gambling activity then thats the time you should stop immediately because if you do tend to continue then situations do came even more worst. It doesnt matter if its involving casino or sports betting because on general sense of addiction then you would
still spending tons of money if you dont have the good control of your finances.
3453  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Does BTC growing faster?? on: October 26, 2021, 11:42:07 PM

Why does btc growing faster than other Cryptocurrencies?

What makes people chooses bitcoin?

Does bitcoin going up forever?

1. Because bitcoin is the best and only currency that can put pressure on the world to change the game.
2. Bitcoin defends equal, fair and decentralized financial freedom.
3.There is no forever increase in price.
We still don't know that yet but as far as 10 years history of Bitcoin it's growing/increasing each year if you look at the chart. What you might be thinking is a super long term that would eventually collapse the adoption like a worst case scenario but let's not think like that ahead since it's most likely not going to happen.

Bitcoin does grow due to some circumstances and different factors like the halving every 4 years does creating a bull season and the adoption rate each time there's a large institutional investors join in the market. Just think those bigger company soon investing in Bitcoin.
Seeing the history would really be giving out that kind of impression but doesnt mean that it would guaranteed that it would happen in the future.
Lets take a pinch of a salt and investment decisions would really be varying on someones risk taking because not all would really be having the
same views and impression when it comes to things thats why some had been rewarded for their patience and some do regret on missing the opportunity.
3454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going for the Underdog or Not? on: October 26, 2021, 10:53:42 PM
<...>
Go all in when you are sure but this kind of behavior does signify that you are really being too desperate which is really bad when it comes to gambling.

Safe bets doesnt exist on gambling world thats why you should be careful and aware on how thing works which risk is always there.

Betting on underdog does really requires trust out of your own analysis but dont anticipate that u-turns could happen anytime.

even if you are really confident going all in is not the best option unless you are going all in with a limited part of your total bankroll
let's say all in with what you have separate for this specific day or bet

the main rule is staying in the game
Staying on the game and making your capital goes a little bit longer or you could simply make out more bets or you do enjoy then thats what matter most.
Going all in is something that you would make yourself put in trouble since on the time you would lost then all of those capital will vanish in an instant
and theres no fun to it thats why you should really be keen on how you do manage your bankroll and at least able to enjoy it out.
3455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going public saying you own Bitcoin is not safe anymore on: October 26, 2021, 09:51:22 PM
Having a crypto investment now needs more attention for the holders, and it is not easy to share what they have because that can attract people's attention. The bad people can do many things, including kidnapping those who have crypto until they say where they keep their coin and transfer it into the kidnapper's wallet. That is your investment, and that is your responsibility to protect your funds in a secret wallet. Do not let other people know where you keep your coins.
Such crimes are indeed very prone to occur, because the target of criminals is directly at crypto users. As owners of crypto wealth, we must really maintain our identity and do not share our public addresses.
Cryptocurrencies are very transparent and no one can hide, all will be recorded. therefore, do not include your real identity if it will be dangerous.
Keep the private key safe and don't share it with anyone except trusted people.

Well, you're somewhat correct but it isn't safe online as well.
Someone getting your email and sending you fake wallet links. Forget about fake links you search on google "blockchain wallet" and the first few results are fake wallets.

I remember this incident occurred with EtherDelta and Blockchain.info wallet not it's Blockchain.com
Getting scammed are typically the result of those common human behavior on which we are really fan on  clicking and downloading things online without
even knowing that you are already gradually been hacked  which it do really plays a big role into yourself about having that common sense and awareness on dealing up with things. You wont really be easily scammed if you do really make yourself mindful about being realistic on things
and wont really be making yourself blind about probabilities.
3456  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: October 26, 2021, 07:58:08 PM
There is one bet that caught my attention Will Dogecoin's price reach 1 USD by the end of 2021? a lot bet on Yes more than 75%.
Many predicted that this meme coin could exceed that price when it was pumped around last May but everything became different after the price fell back more than 50% from ATH, we'll see if this will happen.
Expect those kind of perceptions towards market price whenever theres some ATH reaching situations or all time records which people do really get Fomo'ed and reaching out those numbers which it seems a very
impossible to believe or hard to achieved which it isnt surprising that they do really think that it could reach out that point? Havent they able to reconsider about correction?
Well, people are really exaggerated on making out some guess.
When it comes to market people are like that, the market is very exciting to watch especially if you are holding a big portfolio, you are glued to it every hour checking each price and wishing for a big pump, holders are not considering analysis like price correction all they do is to HODL their coin and wish and look for another pump in the market, the majority are like this.
Self user preference as we can say because we do have our own decision whether we do tend to be active on seeing or watching price movement but as you do hold bigger amounts then it cant really be avoided. You would most like be ending up on checking out those prices from time to time and wont really be that surprising that you would really be hoping and speculating on those prizes which is very common. Decisions will vary since its our money
then no one can stop on what we are anticipating.
3457  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Be in a hurry on: October 26, 2021, 06:45:52 PM
This rule can generally be considered one of the main ones. When I started working with a broker from Amarkets, I worked on a demo account for a long time, so that I could work out this skill.
Demo trading arent really a bad thing to start up because on this way also i had familiarized up markets in terms of terminologies and other basic stuffs but

it wont really be that enough for you to be successful yet real experience with real market is a must thing thats why i do prefer on real trades than spending
your time with demo but if you are still trying to take out some grasp and making out some backtesting of your strategies the these demo trades will really
be much recommended or suggested and its true that hurrying up is non sense because this isnt a race.
3458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: October 25, 2021, 11:29:53 PM
That's correct, it means money but it doesn't mean that exhibition fights are scripted or rigged, it's not like Wrestling where there's a script that they follow. IMO, although this is called an exhibition fight, it's still as dangerous as professional boxing, so they also deserved to make money here as they are risking their life.

Exhibition fights are scripted. It's already proven and true. Exchanging blows and being physical is of course part of the fight to make the stage entertains the watchers and viewers. Why should they be serious in the first place? They will have a reward money win or loss.

There's no life at stake in that fight. Believe me, there's no serious in an exhibition match. Both parties talked beforehand.
Wont really believed that it is a fixed or scripted because making those punches to be that set-up is really hard to be rehearsed or something like that but just like what others saying that this is for entertainment
and about winner then its Tyson would be the winner for this fight and i dont know if people would be interested on seeing this one just like on what happened on Tyson vs Roy jones then it didnt
really get much attention but since this is talking about Logan then die hard fans will surely consider it out.
3459  Economy / Economics / Re: Are banks needed for crypto? on: October 25, 2021, 09:57:35 PM

Isn't that killing DeFi idea? Is there a future for loan mechanism in crypto?

Thanks everyone in advance for the answers.
DeFI could exist or become a trend but doesnt mean that we wouldnt really need any service that came from Bank.Of course there are services which banks are only able to do so.

Yeah, decentralized finance is good but doesnt mean that it will really overtake or could patch up on what centralized institutions could do.
We do still need them even some people doesnt like them or not.Lets just bare these benefits that we do get from this new tech/services/platforms.
3460  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 25, 2021, 08:51:30 PM
I've had few players sign up via my link at other Casino, but it's hard to keeping them playing unless there's something we can give to them.
Such actions are also quite difficult for a casino. The players then come back briefly to get a "Welcome Back" bonus, for example, gamble it away and are then gone again. I think it is unrealistic that many players who have already stopped playing on a platform will continue to play there after a longer break.

In general, I think referral actions make much more sense here: New players offer a much greater chance that they will remain active on the platform for longer.
Indeed actions like this are quite difficult but I can't convince them to last long in the casino I offer on that link (this is outside the forum) unless I always give them winning pictures maybe they can last a long time and at first just take advantage of the signup bonus.

Users here who are active of course they can survive after seeing a lot of gambling and also the discussion here of course they can last longer, but it's difficult to give referrals to forum users except outside of the forum those who don't know this casino.
You could still make out some recommendations though since you do want to share up on something which is legit and been trusted by the community even though further actions will really vary on each person
on how or what things they would be done after that.

wElcoome back bonus or something those bonuses or promotions could really be possibly be abused but we know that they arent blind for them not to see on whats happening
around their vicinity.
