3441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 01, 2022, 09:55:54 PM
Majority predicted Germany to be the winners of the World Cup. Japan have won against Germany and now it have marked its win against Spain. It have lost against Costa Rica. I don't understand in what way Japan have performed. Anyhow this will boost more Asian countries get into the competence. Right now England takes the stand to win the Cup.
It's true, what Japan is showing in the World Cup surely is going to boost the Asian countries that they're also able to compete at least mainly for Japan. I think that many other neighboring countries will be inspired and will have their ways of Soccer because it's not that really popular in here.

The Japanese mentality is very good with total defense, but this is not a football game where only one team plays and dominates the match. Japan only occasionally counterattacked when Spain lost the ball, but it was very dangerous. But Japan will never excel in this way even though they managed to beat Spain in this match.

After watching the match, I tried to look at the statistical summary. Spain was absolutely amazing even though they lost. Spain has 83% ball possession, 1058 passes, with a pass accuracy rate of 91%. Meanwhile, Japan trained to strengthen their calves and bodies from shots from the Spanish players. Lol
There is still a lot to learn from other teams with Japan but despite that, they're beating the known and favored teams by most fans. I'd say that this is a great progress for them and there will be some more upsets coming then.
3442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 01, 2022, 09:27:31 PM
I could not believe this reality, Japan won Spain, Germany won Costa Rica. Everyone expected Spain to lead, but Japan become victorious in their group with 6 points, followed by Spain with 4 points. Germany also with 4 points but Spain scored more goals. It is surprising that Germany has been disqualified from world cup so fast in group stage.
Despite the win of Germany over Costa Rica, they're still out of the World Cup. I'm sure that many are disappointed about this fact with Germany. And for Japan, it's also another surprising win from them. Who expected that Japan would be this good and beat Spain? I think that the majority is with Spain and think that they'll have an easy win against Japan. But this is world cup, just like any other major league that I've watched, there's always the upsets.
3443  Economy / Economics / Re: Can One Get Rich or At least Not go Broke During a Recession? on: December 01, 2022, 08:59:19 PM
The rich got richer during the pandemic because they've seen every opportunity that they can make. I've seen people that have got nothing but still made that much money during the height of the pandemic. They looked for suppliers of alcohol and face masks and then sold them during the peak as the supplies were having some issues back then and the demand was too high. That's the type of people that really sees every opportunity in different situations, like the term and quote about selling lemons and making lemonades.
This had been always the reality on which rich people do even gets richer since they do have the capacity on taking advantage into something which they could really easily adapt nor take up those businesses
which does really suit out for a certain period or situation which make use of that for their advantage. This is why its pointless on making out argumentations that they shouldnt be doing that.
Lets just accept the fact and this is really that part of reality. This is why if you are really that thriving on making yourself able to survive even on recessions then you should be mindful
with having several other income sources and not really just sticking with your day stable job.
They're intelligent no doubt and that's why most of their businesses are successful. But many of them too are taking advantage of the situation of others in able for them to succeed.
Needless to say, the rich become richer because they have the experience on how to run a business and they know what they must do. Just use them as an inspiration and if they can do it, you must be better at something too which can make your passion into a source of living, I've heard of stories like that.
3444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when trading gives you heart problem. on: December 01, 2022, 08:19:53 PM
We know that the market is dynamic,as in it changes constantly, and as such,an investor who isn't careful enough to know when he is investing will fall in to heart problems or emotional trauma as a result of a massive fall in value, that is why it is important to condition your mind in a way that you won't get heart failure when you are at the loosing end.
Every investor knows there is risk in the game, and taking the risk is what shows you are ready to eradicate poverty from your life.
Everyone wants to get out of the rat race and that's why we do everything we can to be out of it. In trading, it's not enough to have that motivation because you need to learn a lot of things from experience, to knowledge and emotional control, all of it and there's a lot more.
Having that risk and being willing of taking it won't just be enough for it. There's a need for you to be ready to learn at all times, it's a continuous learning process and you're open to failures because that will happen many times.
3445  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there still future for growth in bitcoin and crypto? on: December 01, 2022, 02:56:54 PM
Are big businesses and institutional investors abandoning Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?
No.
They're even more interested in bitcoin because we're about to hit again another halving within 2024 and they know the impact of it. They might be abandoning some due to the collapse of FTX and other projects connected to it.
But, it is for sure that they're not abandoning bitcoin and many of them are starting to be visible in the market unlike before, there were too many against it and told a lot of fud.
3446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 01, 2022, 02:06:03 PM
Well, the result of my Parley and it is not proven great going with the underdogs, and just like I have said it was all a big risk, and just as I have said this is my 1st time going with the underdogs after all
Still, nice try though. You can still do it again with your next parlay and just learn from this. It's worth it I guess because you've just learned from it.
And maybe you'll no longer bet for the majority of the underdogs for your next parlays then. On Saturday, Lakers will be up against Bucks, an interesting game.
3447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: December 01, 2022, 10:46:44 AM
Exactly, they're taking revenge on those people and they presume that they're scammers that make them lose money. Those people that have been reported were never found and even the government had already stepped on it and did an investigation but it did nothing.

Man, that is insane. The government can't even stop neither the scammers nor the kidnappers?
Here people cannot try to scam people like that, they would not last a week (and they know it), very disgusting and unfair. At least, here most of the times people get "fair" fights.
Yup, that's the sad reality. It seems that there's a bigger authority that's behind all of those kidnappings. They can stop the operations but about the kidnappings, it's left as a mystery who's behind related to this issue.

The deeper I dive into this thread about cockfighting the more I convince myself it should be banned in my country and leave animals out of betting. Perhaps, with the exception of horse races.  Sad
It's a brutal sport for the animals, one has to die or be injured a lot, unlike the racing.
3448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: December 01, 2022, 08:54:07 AM
There's no doubt that the future of bitcoin is great but with the intervention of companies, exchanges, and the government, they're doing things that are against the principle of bitcoin.
We can't do anything with that but hopefully, someday, we won't be relying on these exchanges to have our bitcoins exchanged into another currency that we have. Without having the need to comply with the KYC and stuff. Because that's what we don't like with these exchanges.
3449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you really think the High APY of Kucoin can be the sign of Kucoin bankruptcy? on: December 01, 2022, 07:33:47 AM
I am trading on this exchange since 2021.
I really want your opinion on this issue.
One side of me has already seen how kucoin managed the last hack and this thing motivates me to hold my assets on this exchange.
But the another side these high Apy on top crypto assets showing the sign of danger.
Don't hold your assets there. You don't know what's in its store in the future. I've got no problem even if they show high interest in their APY, it's going to be lower eventually when many takers are there.
But the thing you've mentioned about holding your assets there and trusting them, even if you've been trading there for ages, that's not a good reason for you to leave your funds there. Always remember if you don't own any keys, you don't hold the coins there.
3450  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 24 hours challenge bitcoin use only sa boracay. on: December 01, 2022, 06:22:17 AM

3451  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Where can I buy BTC by cash without the hassle of KYC in Metro Manila? on: December 01, 2022, 05:08:59 AM
But you can also buy directly here in the forum (p2p)
How exactly do I do that? Is this a p2p service this site offers?
There's a p2p through the forum and it's convenient if you want to buy directly from someone. It's like trading directly from someone.

you can buy it from someone here locally
Here as in the forum or the city? If the city then how do I find buyers/sellers?
You can do both. I think in Facebook groups, you'll see some but as said by mk4 do the deal in a safer place for meetups.

or from other members
Any tips on how to find members buyers/sellers?
On Currency Exchange(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0) section on the forum.

and just use an escrow for the transaction.
What's the etiquette here? Who pays for the escrow service? Any particular one you recommend?
You may ask SFR10 as an escrow, he's a reputable guy here in our local section and part of the list that I've given above for escrow service.
3452  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should I invest? on: November 30, 2022, 11:56:00 PM
NFT, Metaverse, Web 3.0 still underused and underappreciated because of wrong execution from wrong people. Once stable, the trend will arise. Still so many things to dig on that could make new trend in the future.
NFT has been done together with the hype of Metaverse. With web 3.0, I think that's going to be the next thing when the bull run is up again. But we'll not know until we see the rise again but I'm most likely thinking that if we're up again, not and metaverse will be gone to the checklist of most.
Because most projects that are into that focus are no longer big as they were since last year and that's why investors have learned that they should get into the other ones instead of it.
3453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Here is my analysis about btc on: November 30, 2022, 11:28:38 PM
I think there will be some news in the following weeks of December about the cpi index and that's going to play another role in the market. And I guess there will be a reaction to it but I've forgotten what's precisely the date of it. I'm assuming that it will be by the 3rd week if I'm correct with that.
Well see if this bear market and end of year will be proportion to each other because we know how bad bear markets are during end of the year.
3454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥 HunnyPlay.com 🚀 - Looking for ambassadors to promote Crypto Casino [$$$] 🔥 on: November 30, 2022, 10:58:05 PM
This is more ideal on the Marketplace (Altcoins) [https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=161.0] assuming that you'll pay the ambassadors in your altcoin.
Therefore, you have to move this thread/topic onto that section from here to there.
3455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Solution to Address the Problem of Gambling in Australia. on: November 30, 2022, 10:27:00 PM
Honestly, that's a good solution already to have it remove having like the edge of the sword the credit card users and at the same time gamblers. Having that interest to pay and a loss on them would be hitting them hard for sure.
As they remove the credit cards as a payment gateway, they can just have the traditional method of cash or bank transfers plus having bitcoin to be supported by the casinos there.

This initiative will limit a lot of gamblers that are relying on their credit cards to bet.
Maybe, their government has been seeing a lot of problems owed to the usage of credit cards in gambling.
Definitely, heavy debts from financial institutions and other related consequences owed to this situation.
This will give the option to the gamblers to just use the money what they can afford to lose by using their cash or debit cards.
Maybe these credit card companies are also having their hard time getting the payment even if they are getting the interests from these people.
There is for sure a reason why they've taken a decision to do this because of some metrics that their government has seen. And they have to do something about it or else many will suffer from getting the debt and losing it to the casinos there.
That's why it's a good step but whoever can think of a better way for them to help these people but at the same time won't compromise the business of legitimate casinos there, that's much better.
3456  Economy / Economics / Re: Can One Get Rich or At least Not go Broke During a Recession? on: November 30, 2022, 09:54:45 PM
During the pandemic, I have also seen many people become rich within a year. While people were looking for ways to save their lives, many people risked investing and working and in the end they actually got the desired reward. Many people around me get rich because they see the needs of people during the pandemic, they invest in the production of masks, hand sanitizers, disinfectant sprays...all are essential necessities during the covid 19 pandemic.

It can be said that recession or crisis does not mean that everyone has difficulties, opportunities are always available in all cases, sometimes other people's difficulties are their own opportunities.

3458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance aml/kyc in the eu on: November 30, 2022, 08:56:18 PM
I've gone through the same process months ago and I have no choice because the only option left for me is to withdraw if I don't comply. You can resist that if you want to and just go to some other exchange and continue trading there. But if you find it a hassle, guess what? You have no choice but to do the same thing as many of us have done and that is to comply with that requirement. Because if you don't do so, your account will have limited features and likely you'll be halted to trade.
3459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: November 30, 2022, 08:25:38 PM
Sometimes we thought we would win especially if the lead is already huge, but sometimes also the opposing team will have a big run and it will result to losing our bet. I've seen that many times already, not the first time, and it's okay as it's normal.
This happened so many times in a lot of games. You see in the first quarter that there's a lead that's almost impossible to be reached but then you go somewhere else because you're too confident that there's a sure win yet you see that they're about to be reached closely and then turned suddenly the event into the opposing side. It's normal as it seems and that team that's about to win really feels the emotion badly because it's almost in their hands to win but they got uncaught.
3460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Doge can it go 1$ on: November 30, 2022, 07:52:53 PM
Doge is a very promising coin and this week is the second highest coin because it rises more than 28%, I'm optimistic that the Doge will reach $ 1, there is nothing we need will reach 50 cents or more and the price of $ 1 can be reached by the end of 2023.
It has reached more than 50 cents and that has given the idea that it can also break to $1 soon. But, to be real on this one, it's better if you guys don't think about that much at all.
I know that whenever we comeback into a bull market, the market cap of the entire market is going to be higher and prices will reflect higher too but there's no guarantee on this one despite it being the biggest meme coin. And don't be assured by giving an exact date when it will happen.
