3441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should be my fear? on: December 06, 2022, 09:15:04 PM
Your fear should be about missing these lows. Because you'll never know how high bitcoin can go again and even if it's go lower this time, you can just buy them if it ever goes lower.
In the future, you'll see people again regretting that they've missed the train and buying when it's too low for everybody. But, you ask them what they've done during that time, they'll say nothing and reason out that they've got nothing. If they really want to have it at a low price, take action on it and don't just let it be on your mouth but just do it.

Yep, that's exactly what I would be afraid of, not getting enough Bitcoin at times like this!

Don't be worried about the price falling, just buy more when/if it does.

Be afraid of the future when Bitcoin passes $100k and looking back to >NOW< and
realising you had a golden opportunity to buy low.
People look only when the price is falling but don't look at the opportunity that it is bringing for everyone. And when this time is done, they'll be missing it again sharing how frustrated they are and regretful about not purchasing when we're telling them so.
That's really scarier when it's on the news that bitcoin has already reached 6 digits and they didn't even hold even a few satoshis of it.
3442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why everybody is panicking ? Its a game of greed and fear ! on: December 06, 2022, 08:47:25 PM
Even an experienced traders/investors will still get affected with the market condition it's all about how to control yourself in this kind of situation that's why they will be able to last long than those who haven't had any experience. What OP saying was true, it's all about the greed and fear you should maintain yourself in the middle or do something of what the market condition and try to take that as an advantage.

If there's a lot of fear means it's bearish and dropping then you wait and buy since it gets cheaper.
And also what you do during this situation, those that are becoming greedier for this season of a bearish trend. They're doing the right thing and they're greedy in terms of buying more because they know that the market will recover no matter what happens.
While those that only becomes greedy during the bull run, they'll just learn the lesson out of it that they'll be aware that they should take every moment to make profit when they can.
3443  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Indonesian ban on sex outside marriage affect businesses adversely? on: December 06, 2022, 07:22:38 PM
That surely will affect the tourism of that country. Most people know that when foreigners arrived in their country, it's more than the tourism that they need.
And, when such laws have been passed it'll be a basis for tourists to avoid Indonesia because they don't want to get in jail or face some problems just because of it.
That's why if there are businesses protesting on this law, it is because they know that they'll be affected by it.
3444  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: December 06, 2022, 11:58:37 AM
3445  Local / Pamilihan / Re: What is the best crypto exchange in the Philippines? on: December 06, 2022, 10:37:21 AM

I'm talking of p2p transaction kasi yun lang naman ang paraan para maka trade to our bank accounts or GCASH.

3446  Economy / Economics / Re: A career - as an employee or a business owner which do you prefer and why? on: December 05, 2022, 11:26:55 PM
We can't work forever but as long as we can I'll choose to work for someone who's good to work with and also on the side, have someone that will help me grow my business.
Having a good boss is hard to let go of because it's like a bond that's hard to be removed and the relationship that you've built with it is there. Also, it's rare to see good bosses these days and they'll also teach you life lessons and how to run a business. And I think that when you're set and ready, he'll be happy to support you leave him and have your own business journey.
3447  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Shall we create a small chat room to communicate? on: December 05, 2022, 10:55:13 PM
There are a lot of groups already and that's the platform that others have chosen. While here, this is our platform of communication we can discuss things related to trading, crypto, and any other related stuff. And as I know there have been dedicated channels and group chats made by other forum members but still, the majority of us here prefer to stay and get in touch through the forum. Although having other channels is good when you think that's necessary for you.

As a newbie who has a little knowledge of cryptocurrency but much interest in purchasing bitcoin for a long time Hodl, since the purchasing capital is not included in my spendable budget and the price of bitcoin is not very high at the moment 16k, what should be my fear?

Pls, advise me.

3449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Creating https://myetherwallet.com Using Keystore File Method on: December 05, 2022, 09:55:14 PM
Whatever is more convenient for you, use it. It's better to have it and at the same time, save the private keys. That will serve as your backup but still keep it in places where they're safe so that when you want to access it and you've forgotten any of them, you still got a backup for recovery.
At the same time, keeping Keystore or any type of recovery option for your wallet that's been kept on a smartphone, I don't think it's the safest option that you can ever have. It's possible that your phone might be snatched and all important files are there and that's why backups are important.
3450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 05, 2022, 09:24:28 PM
It's just too sad, the Asian countries are leaving this way, at least one out of South Korea and Japan should have made it to the quarter-finals.  The round of i6 is filtering the good out of the better.
It's sad but at the same time, it's also satisfying to see that they've come this far. Although Japan is out already, I'm sure that they're happy with the progress that they've got.
It's not expected that they'll go this far but still, it's one of the farthest achievements that they can get for now. Soon, they'll come back stronger and will beat more other teams which isn't expected by a normal football fan. They've done a lot and went far on this journey.
3451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 05, 2022, 08:48:06 PM
There's nothing much that we can do but just give them our full support. We can't do anything with the setup as the SBP is owned not by the government but by a private entity or corporation that can control everything there. And as we know, Chot is being held by the MVP company and that's why he can't be moved on his position as the coach and even managed to kick Tab Baldwin on that position who's been doing well based on the feed back by most that know the team's run.

That happens when for a long time the government is the one in control of national basketball team but our team was going down the drain. There is no practice, and no proper handling for the longest time. Then someone private stepped in and it was a success. We even went to FIBA world for the first time in 40 years. It was because it was well coordinated, and practice was in full swing. They build the best team PBA can provide. Now, too much politics and very little practice are happening again. It is not just the coach that is the problem, it is the whole system. We do not have grassroots programs that will train young basketball athletes to compete internationally. We can support all we want but nothing great will happen unless a good system is in place from both government and private entities.
Politics is everywhere and we just have to deal with it. The system that this team has got cannot remove the politics and that's it. We just have to look at the bright sides of the situation that they're dealing with. Like with the recent news I've seen about them, for next year, they'll train abroad with the best trainers and it's said that all of them will be part of it. So, I think that's an open and a very good progress for which they'll be able to gain a lot of new acquired knowledge and experiences from that possible boot or training camp.
3452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 05, 2022, 02:31:23 PM
We can't do anything about it but just to trust the process and Chot with his way of coaching it, hopefully, there could be some miracles for Gilas.

Yes, no choice but to support instead the whole Gilas team whoever or whatever the lineup, coaching staff, and anything.

But it's good to support something that we really see improving and changing. They should also hear the people's stand related to it.
There's nothing much that we can do but just give them our full support. DYR and you will find out about that GELDC GELDC has even a higher marketcap than all companies in the world combined, yes bigger than apple, microsoft, google and all others.
Ok then.
Good luck to the company if you're telling the truth. Well, here are my references and I don't see any name under that company you've said and I don't know if you're tripping on me or you literally are serious.
Anyway, good luck with that project and its endeavors hopefully to see it just like how you've described it.
3454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum hold onto its tag of the largest altcoin on: December 05, 2022, 10:45:59 AM
With its dominance in DeFis, NFTs, and widespread prominence Ethereum will continue to hold the crown of the largest altcoin. With the merger with ETH 2.0, Ethereum’s hold would further grow stronger.

According to our Ethereum price prediction by Coinpedia. The largest altcoin’s price could propel to a maximum of $2303.7793 by the end of 2025.
Well, the top and peak of ETH were nearly $5k so, if that's going to be back by that time then it's likely.

Also ETH is not the largest altcoin. There is a token erc20 based called GELDC and it has a marketcap much bigger than all coins combined and this should be even ahead of Bitcoin at coinmarketcap.
Never heard of that. Are you sure that there's really that token that's higher than all the combinations of bitcoin and the majority of the altcoins? I don't think so. Unless, you are a big holder of that coin to say that so that's not a surprise.
3455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Early Is It Now, For Those Who Missed Bitcoin In Its Early Days? on: December 05, 2022, 07:58:59 AM
To be honest sometimes i feel that im still early but when i remember that Bitcoin was at lower price than 1$ i feel disappointed, I can't lie to myself and say that im early and i really think that I wasted a hige life opportunity because i heard about Bitcoin back in 2015, but unfortunately i wasn't brave enough to invest my money on it
Well, we can't go back to the time when it was totally cheap because people thought that it was internet magic and online currency scam thus, they missed it when it was totally cheap.
That's okay, we're still here and bitcoin's still there but this time it's more expensive than before. We're still in the early days and the potential of it is great and the sky is the only limit of it. We've heard it mostly long time ago but we didn't obliged when we've heard it but just only remained to be curious.
3456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [CLOSED] I want to exchange SFP (SafePal) for BNB on: December 05, 2022, 06:48:34 AM
Just go to pancakeswap and have it exchanged there. If there's no direct exchange from SFP > BNB then just do the other trades first like SFP > CAKE/WBNB.
And from there, you can exchange it into BNB since it's not that really much.
3457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the most Preferred Choice on: December 05, 2022, 03:57:56 AM
You can use Bitcoin to pay at supermarkets, convenience stores, and shopping malls. But don't just trust strangers and send money to others. If Bitcoin is cheated, there is a high probability that it will not be recovered.
Bitcoin won't be cheated but the person can be, like what we've been seeing in those that have been victimized by phishing websites. They're the victims and are being cheated on.
They're not aware of it and thought that the website they're visiting is the correct one and so, because of likely being new when asked about their private keys, they don't know that it shouldn't be shared but they do so they fall to the trap and becomes the victim.
3458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Share your Crypto experience. on: December 04, 2022, 11:59:08 PM
The value of your possessions is declining, therefore you need to be patient. You are in a bad predicament as you enter the market. Even some new people who begin in the same position as you, I'm sure many end up losing.
if you keep at it and make an effort to properly plan the management of your investment assets. I have no doubt that the investment you make will pay off for you. The cryptocurrency market is not a place where you can quickly become wealthy and successful. To make it all work out, there is a lot to learn. I hope your patience pays off in full.
That's a fact, many end up losing because they didn't expect that the market would crash upon their entry. It's not their problem but that's just sad for them because that's sort of discouragement to them as they've entered the market freshly.
Great things are being built up with the worst things and that's the same goes in the market so if someone new loses the value of the coins you've chosen. Start from there and study if you've bought the right coins and then if not, you need to do a reassessment of what you think is going to be a great long-term hold.
3459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Here is my personal solana TA analysis and opinion about SOL on: December 04, 2022, 11:30:50 PM
There's something that stops me from buying SOL even if it's just a little amount of it. The news that has been with the outage of its network, makes me stop investing in it.
Well, analyses here and there are good stuff to read from someone who may want or want not to invest in SOL. It's another reference to being a source of the decision whether it'll be a good coin to buy or not. Additionally, those opinions that I've read of it, as usual, they're mixtures of good and bad as well as neutral.
3460  Economy / Economics / Re: Share Your Best Money Advice Based on Personal Experience on: December 04, 2022, 10:53:31 PM
Live within your means, live frugally and that's it. Everything will start with that and you'll be responsible to think whether the things you want to buy are worth it or not.
Whenever you're living that way, you can afford the needs you need and you won't go more than the amount that you're earning. I guess everyone's good advice about money is going to be the best advice that we've got if apply it in our lives. Because we tell good advice yet we don't apply it to our lives and that means nothing.
