3442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Estrada vs Chocolatito WBC, WBA & Ring Magazine Unification Fight on: March 03, 2021, 01:53:29 PM

Considering the previous fights of Gonzales, it looks like he’s on and off in the court and not consistent at all but of course that win record against Estrada is a big factor towards this match. We know that Estrada is eager to bounce back and for sure he trained a lot so he can finally beat Gonzales. For me, its hard to see who will win the match so I’ll also go for a 50/50 result because both of these fighters are good enough to entertain us.

I just watched the devastating loss of Chocolatito, he is a fighter who loves to slug it out, that's his style he will not run in any fight he loves to move forward, engage and go all out, and he will likely get knocked out against big puncher if Estrada now has that, then he has a good chance of winning, I expect Chocolatito to move forward and slug it out, Estrada should be ready to this.

3444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's help SEC to penalize Ripple with a profit for all of us on: March 01, 2021, 08:54:53 AM

The purpose of SEC is to protect investors so it should act according to its purpose  - it just need to prohibit Ripple from any further XRP sells and also ideally apply something similar for Jed McCaleb holdings.

The developers of Ripple are still innocent until proven guilty, those exchanges that delisted Ripple, have done it on their own, and because of their perception, let SEC first prove that Ripple is guilty, then we can call establishments and exchanges that still trade Ripple to stop trading Ripple, there are still people who believe on Ripple, and the battle now is on the court.
3445  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk and BTC on: March 01, 2021, 03:54:47 AM
Counter-question for you - which investor with a clear mind would not invest in an asset that has achieved an ROI of as much as 32745.69% since 2013?

I am saying that is it like a lottery since BTC reached 20 000 in december 2017. After that it managed to go under 4 000 in january 2019. Since then it went up and down like a pendulum and there is no way to predict which direction it will go. That's what I am talking about and not about early investors that like you mentioned achieved an ROI of as much as 32745.69%

Many of us here are not professional investors, and yet many of us here are making a lot, I have a lot of friends who are inexperienced and first time investors and yet they are doubling, tripling their investment, what more with professional gamblers with clear mind, it's not rocket science really and you don't have to go to Harvard to know how is it to invest in Cryptocurrency, the fact will just present itself.
3446  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: March 01, 2021, 03:38:49 AM
How would you define what is to be "rich"? Is it about having enough for living or is there something else that you would be looking to accomplish to be rich?
Is it 1 million USD? Is it 1000 bitcoin? what are your thoughts?

Having enough is on the mindset of one person, you an have $1 million or 1000 Bitcoin but you will still feel that it's not enough, because there is a human side of us that doesn't stop from wanting, I prefer to have a little that will only satisfy our needs and a small business, and a peace of mind, the most important thing is peace of mind and contentment, this is where you will find rich in human relationship.
3447  Economy / Economics / Re: holding bitcoin from early 2010 till today on: March 01, 2021, 02:08:59 AM
is there someone holding  bitcoin from early 2010   when the price is around 0.01 and still not selling today?    just wondering?

One of this is the creator Satoshi Nakamoto, no one are claiming and posting their wallets that they are one of the pioneer, the temptation to sell at 1000% profit is very high, if there are people besides Nakamoto who is still part of the early holders, it's either they forgot they have it, or forgot their keys or loss it.
3448  Economy / Economics / Re: The volatility in the price of a bitcoin is falling over time on: March 01, 2021, 12:40:42 AM

One of the major setbacks of bitcoin becoming a worldwide currency is because it is not stable. Let's consider this, if I accept bitcoin as a payment option for my business, and I accept a certain amount coin, say 0.5 which let's say is equivalent to 25 thousand dollars only to realize it's less than that after two weeks, I mean no one wants that
If the volatility is drastically reduced and Bitcoin becomes an almost stable coin, it'll become the world's currency

You have a good point, this is what actually stopping Bitcoin from getting accepted in major payment portal, companies wants to get real time value of what customers have been paid ,so they can cover the cost of their products and services, if the volatility is greatly reduced although not possible, companies are still OK with 3% less after they received it as long as the price will bounce back, in just a few hours or days.
3449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: NMX Nominex token on: February 28, 2021, 03:00:20 PM
I just want to share the latest information from the Nominex team, especially for the Bounty campaign participants.

NMX tokens are already traded on the Pancakeswap exchange, but the Bounty tokens are locked, and will be fully unlocked for 1 year. This is an information quote from the team in the Telegram group :

The NMX tokens received for free will begin to be unlocked every day in equal parts 30 days after converting NMX to DeFi and will be divided into 2 categories:

Earned in bounty and real tournaments NMX will be fully unlocked within 365 days (1 year).

Demo tournaments, 1st and 2nd phases of distribution among traders, various promo bonuses.
NMX will be fully unlocked within 1095 days (3 years).

Unlocking NMX tokens is the process by which unlocked tokens become available for sale on the exchange and withdrawal from Nominex to the external wallets
How can you use Blocked tokens?
1. You can still use NMX to pay the trading fees
2. Shortly after converting the NMX token to DeFi, we will implement the ability to stake blocked NMX tokens, which means that you can earn additional NMX tokens on this staking, which will be immediately available for withdrawal and sale.

Did they announce this before the start of the bounty campaign or they just changed direction after the distribution, if they changed direction then they have deceived their bounty hunters, if they announced it, before the start of the campaign, I doubt if they will have many participants, who would want their token locked for one year?
3450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Avni Yildirim - February 27 on: February 28, 2021, 02:35:50 PM
No doubt Canelo is one of the greatest boxers, but since GGG he hasnt faught anyone serious. Luckely, in May 8 he is going to face Billy Joe Saunders, top3 in world and top2 UK

A fight with Saunders will seal his status as the best middleweight I want to see him fight the Charlo brothers, the Charlo brothers have huge egos and if Canelo can beat the brothers, that will seal his legacy as one of the best pounds for pound king, a fight with both brothers will make a box office attraction.
3451  Economy / Economics / Re: Tech companies no longer "friends" on: February 28, 2021, 01:03:18 PM

Apart from Facebooks try with Libra, is there anyway they could start competing on the blockchain world? My take is that they should.

We might see that soon, PayPal's entry into Cryptocurrency is a huge success and so is Elon Musk, I'm sure these big companies are thinking their entry into Cryptocurrency, but they have to do fix their issues with regulators if they cannot address this, it will not happen, Facebook is going all out in their entry for the second time in Cryptocurrency.
3452  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN CORRECTION: PERFECT BUY TIME on: February 28, 2021, 05:45:29 AM

a year ago and two years ago I bought a lot at the end of February and the market became a dump when it entered march. I don't know if this will happen again. I just bought back with $ 3k for bitcoin. If there is dumping in March, then the month of March will continue to be a month of bad luck.

Investors will have a hint on what to expect this coming March if it's true then I will try to generate funds and buy more Crypto I don't consider the month of March the month of bad luck I will consider it a month of opportunity, this year will be very much different and this year is just a continuation of bull run, it will continue even to the month of January next year.
3453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Binance be the next Ethereum? on: February 28, 2021, 05:21:34 AM
as we can see if the price of Binance has risen very high for now and even all the coin that use Binance smart chain have also increased very high and of course gas fees from Binance are very low compared to Ethereum, so there is a possibility that in the future there will be many projects using blockchain from Binance and that is an opportunity for Binance to replace Ethereum (become the king of all altcoin).

so do you agree with me if Binance will be the next Ethereum? or are you thinking of anything else?

Right now many are staying away from Ethereum and shifting to alternatives but that doesn't mean that Ethereum will never fix their issues, I read that come July things will be good and we can enjoy much lower fees, I also miss trading my coins lower than 25 cents I though Ethereum can keep up and will remain the best chain to create and transact, this is something unexpected I'm still hoping after July things will be back to normal.
3454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Currently i am quit from market and come in 2024 on: February 26, 2021, 09:47:56 PM
Currently i am quit and just taken my profit and exit. already exit and i am writing. i am hoping to come after 3 years. with 10000USD investment for a potential coin at that time..

now bull market gone, what ever bullish now is temporary and bear is inevitable. so whats your plans ?

It's a premature decision, bull run is still on, and what's happening now is just a correction and we are just come in a bull run season it's too early to tell if the bull run has stop and the bear trend set in, a lot of great things are still happening in the market and we are still in the early part of the year, and experts and seasoned experts consider the month of February and April as a month of correction, my plan is still going on weak hands like you should stop investing in Cryptocurrency market and just sell goods in the market.
3455  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin crashed below $48K, is the bull market in danger? on: February 26, 2021, 02:21:49 PM
Bitcoin price dropped below $48,000 in a major correction on Monday right before the U.S. market open.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-price-crashes-below-48k-but-is-the-bull-market-in-danger

Very interesting analysis, so it's a pull between the $37k level and the $63k level, based on the movement, it again proves that the month of February and March is the months of correction, so we'll see how things will turn up in the coming days and weeks, I am hoping that it will end up in the $63k level, not only me but we all are.
3456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All of a sudden they want to join crypto. on: February 25, 2021, 01:42:14 PM
Hahahaha I have been getting quite alot of engagement lately... and pretty sure I'm not the only one  it's crazy seeing dm's  from doctors, lawyers, engineers, astronauts & Olympians.  Parents wanted me to be any of the above and now they're in my dm's trying to learn about crypto and how I make 6 figures from holding/staking altcoins like $BET $LINK $ ADA. Hmmmmmmmmm life.

This is not new I also got a lot of inquiries about Cryptocurrency because in our place I'm the one one who is very much into Cryptocurrency, but unfortunately, they are only driven by profit, and they are confused about the technology behind it, they are used to MLM and Ponzi Scheme,  but I still educate some interested friends hoping they will embrace this technology
3457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is my crypto portfolio, what you think about it? on: February 25, 2021, 01:09:25 PM
11% RSR
11% CRV
11% SNX
11% AVAX
11% KAVA
11% REEF
11% LRC
11% UMA
12% POLS

Some are good and some I'm not familiar with, I don't see any coin that is in the top 5 quite surprising, I'm not saying you have a risky portfolio because you have balanced it and you are proud to show it to us and you are not asking if you have a good choice I figure that you have done your research, but you may want to think of adding more top coins the risk is much lesser if you have these coins.
3458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you take loan(s) to invest in crypto? on: February 25, 2021, 11:37:19 AM
If you are a regular Twitter user and happen to follow a bunch of influencers or investors, there are high chances that you will have gone through some of the tweets claiming someone has borrowed a loan from bank to just invest into crypto. If not yet, check it here. Well, this is one really  interesting topic so I though why not discuss here.

What do you think of taking loan(s) to invest in crypto? What's your input? Have any of you done this already? Isn't this crazy?

This is crazy and you should not even think of it, the market is very volatile and you should always think that always and at all times, there's always a big temptation to make a loan because of other experience's if you want to take a loan you should make an assessment of yourself if you really can take it and you have the means to take losses, psychology and materially.
3459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dump just after a new listing? on: February 24, 2021, 02:48:28 PM

Some hunters also blatantly saying they didn't believe with the project. Those hunters were regretting their decision now dude.  Roll Eyes
the movement of altcoin can't be predicted easily.

Ame is a good project, they have proven that since they launched a signature campaign, they are dedicated to making their project great by giving their investors update on the development of their road map, and by continuously launching marketing, if bounty hunters decide to dump it's on them, on a good project that's having a dump, there are always takers who believe in their project.
3460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP vs SEC latest news on: February 24, 2021, 01:30:50 PM
Hi all, hope all is well!

Let's start discussing the latest news with the updates if possible... I live in Turkey and there is no update that I can reach for now.. After the peak about 10 hours ago, XRP is going down. Should I keep and buy more at a lower price or should I let it go?

ps:

- Unfortunately, I have fired because of that covid **** 5 weeks ago and I m trying to survive with my compensation until I got a new job.
- I am not talking about thousands of $ for buying.

Please let me know your thoughts about the expectations in the future like 2-3 weeks in both scenarios positive/negative for Ripple.

Cheers!
Why Ripple there are other coins with good potential without the risk of crashing and with no issue with SEC, you are jobless and you are looking for sure profit, if you are going to invest in Ripple don't pour everything here, check other coins with good potential, diversify, try to minimize your losses, we are in a bull run it's not hard to find these good coins.
