3441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Alt Season Thread on: January 08, 2021, 01:04:32 PM
I think it’s starting guys...  Alts up by a lot vs USD and trending vs BTC.  Here’s the thing tho...  Most alts price rises are usually short lived.  Good luck on your picks.

Yes,,, as soon as ETH reached $1000 again you can say altseason already started. As usual, thanks to Bitcoin which is now about $700B in total market cap. The 1 Trillion including alts will for sure make all of alts rally now, even XRP is going crazy with all the hype.

As you say, short lived only though. Make the best of it.
3442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beat the BetBuilder promotion thread - win prizes from Sportsbet.io on: January 08, 2021, 11:56:47 AM
Same here, no idea of how to play this but I remember taking part in a similar competition and winning at least one prize from the NFL. Will all future Betbuilder contests be in this thread also? I actually only do betbuilder for football (Spurs of course, and will be making one for the upcoming EFL final!).
3443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Attention: Biden has officially won, make sure your sportsbook pay you. on: January 08, 2021, 10:02:56 AM
Seems a little crazy that there are some sportsbooks who have not paid out yet when the results had been pretty clear from the start! Especially when Biden bets were a lot lower than Trump bets (from what I can remember).

What ever the case, probably the most long awaited political election betting market I have ever seen:)
3444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What type of trading is preferred for beginners who just started in the market on: January 08, 2021, 08:41:41 AM
I think all tactics are equally risky, but I do agree intraday is the quickest way to lose. Even if you win at first, the greed and excitement tends to lead to chasing lost profits,,, emotions are very difficult to handle in any way, but when you trade with such short timeframes, it becomes highly problematic.
3445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: January 08, 2021, 08:07:28 AM
Here are my picks. I made them with three draws. Inter lost so maybe they will struggle away and miss another penalty;)

I also do not really trust Arsenal even though they won 3 in a row, they were not very convincing and Newcastle would love to progress since they have no chance of Europe from the league. So they will fight for a draw to go to penalties at least!

3446  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamblineers.com | the Bitcoin Casino Guide on: January 08, 2021, 06:36:11 AM
Never ever take a bonus if you deposit via BTC and you want to cashout next day.
There will be conditions and this is true in most cases. I still remember Betnomi giving a deposit bonus with no strings attached a few months back. It's wise to ask before taking up the offer.

Yes,,, I think this is a sweeping statement and is true in most cases, but the terms and conditions are always what you pay attention to. Read them and understand well, and even ask support for confirmation before you even deposit. I would even go as far as fulfilling all verification requirements first in full before even making a deposit in such casinos.
3447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 07, 2021, 02:47:19 PM
I wouldn't write off Spurs or even Leicester yet. It's still pretty open really though City do still have two games in hand which will take them to the top with two points clear. Everton and Villa are the two cancelled games I think and neither are a push over. They're even occupying 7th and 8th places. I'd rather see a different team win it from the usual lot.

I think we will have a decent push for the top 4, for sure, and if we can win each of our games against the big six in the coming months,,, we can definitely have a strong hold and hope others find it as difficult as it was early season.

But I know we rely too much on Kane/Son so it all, as usual, depends on if they stay fit and injury free.
3448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XLM LUMEN in Ukraine - strong buy - which country will announce XLM next? on: January 07, 2021, 02:05:18 PM
Where is the news though? What I can read is just trials and it does not really seem to mean that XLM will be the actual blockchain used by the actual digital Ukraine money IF it becomes a real thing in a few years.

Stellar is the testing ground, not the actual ground:)
3449  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise (!?)|| January 2021 on: January 07, 2021, 12:48:29 PM
Even Deposit really increased , Maybe that's about the Blockchain miner but still affecting our gambling activities .
I tried to deposit 50$and the transaction fee arise to 21$ ? look how huge that was ?

But good thing that until now i have not winning so I don't need to experience the High Withdrawal fee  Grin Grin

But i guess it's practical just to let our coins for a while in gambling site when this fee increasing happens ?
so sooner when the fee adjusted we can withdraw at lower value.

Time to use your own Bitcoin wallet my friend,,, there is no way at the current network line that you can pay even $2 for a next block confirmation (and that is counting the high price of BTC now).

Either you are not setting your own fees OR you have a lot of utxo which is why you should regularly consolidate.

PErsonally, I do not withdraw my BTC until the fee makes sense (for me this means fee should never be higher than 0.5% of the withdrawal amount!).

OR. I gamble for my fee:p
3450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin now you think had a good future on: January 07, 2021, 12:03:24 PM
What you said is right, people already understand the ETH market, we have seen ETH profit in 2017 and in 2021 again. People who purchased ETH when it was a dip in 2019 those who grabbed it, will see the taste of the profit now. That's why we should always grab the top coin like ETH when it is in dips.

Trust me, very few people understand the crypto market and even fewer people "understand" the ETH market. Nobody ever could predict 1000k suddenly when ETH kept failing to come over even $400 last year.

Never just grab a top coin in dips. Dips are for coins you believe in, you use, you support.
3451  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: January 07, 2021, 10:57:28 AM
@sportsbet.io
That brings me to another request. It would be great if we had option for full cash out for let's say 5 minutes after placing the bet so we can void our ticket if we find the mistake. As it stands now you can cash out with small loss if you played supported sports. For instance if you have one eSport match on your ticket you will not be allowed to cash out at all since eSports are not supported. Of course above should only be available for tickets were there aren't live markets.

This is a brilliant idea,,, I know I have placed bets by mistake. Sometimes to my own benefit (as I posted recently I had two winning tickets on the very same selections, which won, so it was a happy mistake. But I would have probably preferred to get back/cancel one bet, except that if you cash out, you get a bit less of your money.

Definitely should allow it for pre-live bets,,, maybe with a min time frame of 2 or 3 hours before first game plays out? Then again, I do see the disadvantage of bookies here because you could take an early bet and cancel it to retake it if odds change.

So my suggestion is,,, Allow full cashout within 5 mins of placing bet (so you can delete the bet if you realize you made a mistake).
3452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever proven fairness of games? on: January 07, 2021, 08:58:02 AM
I think the fact that so many gamblers are (apparently) so vehemently against checking the authenticity of their bets is very distressing.

What's that old saying for that one cryptocurrency that people tend to use, again?

"Don't trust. Verify."
Blind trust means that exploitation is possible. Instead of saying, "yeah, but I trust them anyway," why not eliminate the need for trust at all?

Along with many other sayings that crypto circles promote, yet very few actually practice,,, like "not your keys, not your coins".

I think we have to accept that the majority of crypto retail users just treat crypto as another digital currency, not different from paypal or other ingame coins. And maybe this is the future after all?
3453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coingecko delist SAFEX because is a scam on: January 07, 2021, 08:19:46 AM
I think both are good, but i will choose Coingecko over Coinmarketcap because of the quality of the coins they list on their website, for example Coingecko delisted SAFEX from their site last month because is a scam, i think this is good and Coingecko is doing a great job protecting Crypto users from getting scammed with those ponzi scam.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=561516.msg55816614#msg55816614

To be fair,,, Coinmarket does the same thing if you contact them with enough proof as well. So just because someone contacted CoinGecko and got it delisted does not mean it is better than CMC,,, you will actually also get the same response if you contact them with reputable information. So in this regards, no difference.
3454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 06, 2021, 04:55:06 PM
That's true. Spurs got an easier opponent compared to having the likes of Man Utd or Man city to contend with. And just like you said, that fixture is a harder to predict unlike Tottenham vs Brentford game. I know one thing for sure though and it's the fact that Ole will throw everything at Man city with the hope of winning the clash and going through to the finals. Both Manchester clubs have all improved significantly over the past couple of weeks so I can't really pick which side to take. Instead, I'll try out other markets - cards, corners, goals etc.

I was half afraid we would bottle it against Brentford but luckily we played well and scored early to relieve the pressure to get ahead. I think though, as a Spurs fan, I would rather meet City or United next than a "weaker" club because that is when we seem to perform at our best,,, anything less and I get worried we somehow cannot break down defensive teams:)
3455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the point of so many cryptocurrencies? on: January 06, 2021, 04:15:53 PM
Simply because anyone is free to launch their cryptocurrency. Most of them are aiming to reach the achievements of Bitcoin and others are just scams. We also have the freedom to choose what coin to buy and what to ignore so we better not waste our time and attention on inactive coins because they only serve as market distractions.

And that is the concept of open source democracy,,, which I think is a great display of how cryptocurrencies really encourage diversity and freedom to build and develop.

Freedom always comes with a price of course, but we as users must learn to educate ourselves and get into projects only that we actually can use, and support.

I learned my lessons:)
3456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler who manages to beat the casino on: January 06, 2021, 02:47:53 PM
First off, cheating is cheating,,, you are not beating the casino if you are cheating;) You can cheat your friends, other players, the house, but that is not the definition of beating the casino legitimately!

Card counting is not cheating though, technically. Casinos can blacklist you but it is not a crime as far as I know.
3457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am not investing in Bitcoin, I am staying with Altcoins on: January 06, 2021, 02:10:10 PM
It is nearly the equivalent in the event that you can benefit from bitcoin in light of the fact that you can sell your bitcoin when bitcoin develops or hold it at another significant expense. You contributed at a modest cost and who knows those altcoins you contributed becomes stiction sometime in the future. I am not happy with them holding for quite a while, presumably in a brief timeframe yet at the same time, my resource zeroed in on bitcoin which is useful for venture despite the fact that we realize that it is unstable and delicate with regards to dealing with our resource.

That is a LOT to ask about altcoins, to say "who knows?" is being naive. ETH is probably one of the very few alts that do well and continue to progress and develop,,, but they have 20x more resources and the best developers out there, with tons of use cases and users. There really is no other alt that competes, except in small use cases like Doge, LTC and XMR.
3458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 06, 2021, 12:53:56 PM
Slaven Bilić has found a new job after his WBA contract termination, he's going to China and will be managing Beiijing Guoan.

I'm a Croat and really love the guy for what he's done with our national team, but he's a mediocre manager at best (on a club level) so I never really understood all the drama that happened after WBA sacked him.

His job before WBA was at Al-Ittihad, so I guess taking this job signals the end of his european managing ambitions.

The drama was just because he was at the job for too short and he got sacked after getting a point against City! Otherwise,,, no complaints and the fans will get over it. The problem always I think is sometimes clubs and managers have different ideas from what they thought they all agreed upon and it only becomes clear when the training and games start.
3459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ETH break it's ATH? on: January 06, 2021, 08:40:51 AM
Definitely there will be new ATH but how long it will take, i think it may be another month for us to see ETH surpass the ATH for the first time and followed by a crazy growth of it, i think the new ATH has can get more than $ 2000 or more.

I would never say definite in crypto, and ETH has already done over 40% in a few days so we should be expecting a slight pullback before it heads on over towards old ATH. Then again,,, like I said, nothing is definite. We could just see it break 1400 and then it is anybody's guess where it can go after that. Bitcoin is now at 75% gains from old ATH.

ETH doing the same would put it at $1850.
3460  Economy / Gambling / Re: FREE TICKETS NOW! CryptoLottoStore.com - Lotto & Casino - 100% 1st Dep on: January 06, 2021, 08:09:02 AM
We don't need any further discussion of freebitco on this thread thanks  Grin  They don't do what we do, so there's no comparison to make.

We've discussed questions of winnings earlier in the thread too, but just to explain once more - you are buying a lotto bet on our site, which is different to actually buying a ticket to the particular lotteries.  Our prices are very similar to the cost of their actual tickets - cheaper in most cases.  If you win the jackpot, you will be paid the same amount of money as the actual jackpot on the draw up to €50M.

Thanks a lot and sorry for bringing it up:)

but in reference to what I asked earlier (since I now confirm that it is actually different from buying the actual lotteries), what is the proof of funds that you can pay out the money? That is now about $60 million USD if converting. I ask because I actually buy lotteries, but in my country the amount is much smaller, I would buy the euro ones if I could,,,
