3461  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do whales mainpulate the market? on: May 02, 2018, 03:04:31 PM
I often see the word 'manipulation' in cryptocurrency world. I only have general sense of that, but I have some questions about it. How exactly do these whales do this? Is there a way to spot it? And is there any chance these whales lose money?

Those whales that you're pointing are manipulating the market by just selling and buying a huge number of bitcoins that really affects the market that can cause of pump and dump of its price. And sometimes they are spreading FUDS that can cause of panic selling of those small time holders that are afraid of losing a bigger amount of money if they don't sell immediately.
3462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find the right coins to buy on: May 02, 2018, 02:14:53 PM
Hello, I have been trading for some months now. I have had some losses but now I recovered and I have the same I started with. The hardest part for me is finding the right coins to buy. I have been around signals telegram groups and tried with some scanners, but havent had much success. What would you recommend?

In search of reliable altcoins is needed of long time to find and reviewing of those altcoins that we want to invest in, it's really hard to find an altcoin that's trustworthy for our investment, but we have to take the risk no matter what happen just to earn money. Remember, the higher you taking the risk, the higher of success you can make, just don't loss your hope in the things that you really like, because it brings us to success.
3463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to handle tough times in cryptocurrency? on: May 02, 2018, 01:38:58 PM
We are indeed the tough times of trading or investment in cryptocurrency. After the ATH of Bitcoin last year, we are now at the stalemate at 10K USD mark for almost 2 weeks and no sign of going up. I was thinking to hold for as long as I can since I believe in crypto.

If you’re at the losing position what is the best thing to do?

Holding tight of your bitcoins is the best thing that you should do if you're now at the losing position. why? Because bitcoin always been able to surpass all of its trials since it started, and i truly believe that bitcoin is still able to survive today and into the future, and it's already proven and tested by a lot of holders and also by my self.
3464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it really worth it to invest in ICO? on: May 02, 2018, 12:02:46 PM
I truly believe that investing to an ICO really takes so much risk, but if you find a project that's legitimate and reliable, it surely give you the profit that you'd never expected. But before that, you need to make a lot of research first about the ICO that you'd like to invest in, to avoid of losing a lot of money.
3465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Strategy: holding but trading on: May 02, 2018, 05:45:36 AM
Do you guys think that it is possible to be successful if I want to hold ( a year), but  look at the charts only once a week (even less), then  trade only if I see a huge loss? Let's say I set a loss of 10% now, will I have to trade a lot?

Thanks in advance

If you're holding bitcoin, i don't recommend you to sell now with a loss of 10%, because i truly believe on the potential of bitcoin, and it can definitely make it stand up from its downfall. If i were you, you should still hold tight of your holdings until it can makes its full recovery, to gain more profit instead of losing a lot of money by selling it right now.
3466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: May 02, 2018, 03:20:49 AM
I am a newcomer to the crypto market.
Should I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Please give me advice.
Sincerely thank you.

Investing in an ICO can be profitable, but you have to make a lot of research first about the project that you want to invest in, because there's only few ICO projects are reliable and trustworthy that you can invested in. But in bitcoin, your investment can be more secured because it's already trusted and tested by a lots of crypto holders.
3467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How to distinguish real project from scam project? [HELP] on: May 01, 2018, 02:45:12 PM
Good day, everyone! Guys, I really want to know how to find out whether a project is a fraud or not? Are there people who know how to do this? Specifically interested in the project https://zenithcard.io/. I really like the idea of this project, but something tells me it's a scam project ... Please help me!

This topic has been done by many members of this forum, but to answer your question, it's really hard to determine if a project is a scam or legit. But you can make some research about the project like reviewing of their whitepaper and identifying the members behind the project if they are really credible. It can help even a little bit to figure out if a project is a scam or legit, but it can't give you a 100% guarantee.
3468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is crypto industry dangerous ? on: May 01, 2018, 12:00:16 PM
i want to know what makes the cryprto dangerous? to the point that many countries band the use of crypto in their countries. I want to hear your opinion

Using cryptocurrency becomes dangerous if someone used this as a method of payment for criminal activities because of its untraceable transactions. And because of its high volatility that is hard to predict of anyone, that can cause of losing a lot of money of some investors who lack of knowledge about its market volatility.

3471  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for someone to manipulate the virtual currency market? on: April 28, 2018, 01:14:39 AM
If an entity is large and powerful enough, is it possible for it to gain a monopoly advantage and manipulate the rises and falls of the virtual currency market?

Yes it could be possible, but only for those who are called big whales. Because this big whales are those investors that are having a huge amount of money that are invested to virtual currency, which gives a big effect to its market value for every huge withdrawal they make and that's how they manipulate the virtual currency market.
3472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to participate in bounty on: April 27, 2018, 09:46:57 PM
Hello guys... I m newbie. I would like to ask how to participate in bounty?
Thank

Bounty campaign has different campaigns like signature, translation, and social media campaigns, you just need to apply on every campaign that you'd like to participate in. But to be able to participate in social media campaign like Twitter and Facebook, you have to reach their minimum required followers for every account that you have. And in signature campaign, some of them are not accepting newbies and even jr. members as a participants, you need to level up first your rank to at least member rank to be able to participate.

3474  Economy / Economics / Re: How to manage the risk in investing cryptocurrency? on: April 26, 2018, 03:39:32 PM
Almost all members of this forum knows how risky to invest in any cryptocurrency including bitcoin, and we all know how profitable it can be. But the problem is, there's no assurance that our investment will return with a profit, that's why if we have to invest in cryptocurrency, we just have to invest an amount that we can afford to loss, to avoid of regretting later. So for me, this is the best and most effective way to manage the risk in investing cryptos.
3475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find the best ICO program on: April 26, 2018, 01:50:17 PM
How to find the best ICO program, in markets there are lots of ico offering  but how can I decide which program is best for long run
Thanks in advance.

You can go to alternate cryptocurrencies in bounties section, you can see a lot of different ICO programs in that section. But the hard thing is to determine if the ICO is reliable and will last for a long run, that's why you have to make a lot of research first about the ICO project that you want to participate in or to invest in, to avoid of wasting to much money and time as well.
3476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any coin like bitcoin? on: April 26, 2018, 12:11:03 PM
Please house, I will like to know whether out of the existing altcoins anyone of them has potential to be like bitcoin in the nearest future. I will appreciate if i can know the reason why because this will greatly assis me in planning my investment strategy. Thanks.

I don't think that something else can surpass bitcoin even in the future, but i know an altcoin that has the same capabilities as bitcoin to create a higher value in the future and this is also my favorite except for bitcoin, and this altcoin is no other than but ethereum.

3478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoin for investing (begginers) on: April 26, 2018, 04:06:34 AM
There's nothing better than bitcoin and ethereum, this two cryptocurrencies is the most reliable and profitable cryptos that you may have now. Just like what i've said to my previous post with the same question as yours, i always recommend this two cryptocurrencies in several threads here in this forum, because i truly believe on their ability to create a higher value in the future and it gives me already the profit that i've never get in investing in some banks that i know.
3479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i want to ask about bounty programs is it worthy&paying. on: April 26, 2018, 03:12:24 AM
i am totally new in crypto industry and want to earn money from it.and make it my profession but i did;t have much money to invest so i have started airdrops but i can get any money from them till now in 3 months.now i have joined bitcoin talk forum and see many peoples doing bounty programs i want to ask from all my seniors.did bounties are worthy and paying that can be use to invest in crypto in future please guide me about it and give me some advise to earn free money by bounties and how to do them.i will be so thank to you all in advance.

Of course it is, with a large number of bounty hunters here in this forum no one thinks it's not reliable, worthy and paying. But in your situation, it could be difficult for you to star in bounty campaigns because of your current rank which is strictly prohibited to participate in any campaigns here in this forum. If i were you, you should focus first on raising you rank into higher rank to be able to participate in any campaign you'd like to participate in.
