Rather than apologize for his actions, John Conman tried to deflect by using tu quoque, accusing Bitcoin of stealing SSL or some such bullshit. And he spammed this forum with duplicate posts. VNL bragged about their 'zero-conf required on Poloniex' but then it broke and turned into a fiasco. Even *if* VNL had decent crypto, Monero's upcoming RingCT makes it look old and obsolete. That's why the volume is low. Anybody who wanted this crapcoin already filled their bags and (like you) is probably nervously looking around for a greater fool to dump them on. more like everyone is sick of monero I used to listen to this shit, but JC has proven himself as a coder, delivered endlessly and without requiring rewards. The greater cryptocurrency community should establish a day where everyone withdraws all of their crypto into their own wallets. Large holders will have to start early because of the daily withdrawal limits.
The idea would be to have an organized bank run every year to destroy the excess money supply created by exchange operators and derivatives.
Some exchanges would collapse. There'd be tons of volatility. Could be fun.
Fractional reserve is not going to go away. This is why proof of stake coins do not work. 100% PoW is the only way to be safe. Even PoS+PoW hybrids don't work. Dear Novacoin users, I have to notify you that terrible thing happened. Unfortunately, the Proof-of-Stake difficulty has been dropped as the result of successful attack. In case if attacker would decide to continue generation, please make sure that you're not processing transaction until 8-9 confirmations were achieved. That will protect you against double spending attempts.
Hard fork is necessary to resolve this issue, updated client will be published in the next few days. Please stay tuned.

BTC isn't hard to use. You get the wallet from the app store and scan a QR code. Simple. PoS isn't "innovative." It's been around since Peercoin! As expected!  That's the reason why majority of online wallets removed NXT from their lists including Shapeshift.io  It's a shame that the developers had a mere intention of dumping the coins rather than pushing it's ability a lot further.  I already smelled something fishy when they skipped the question of future road-map towards NXT! NXT's roadmap should have been done two years ago, BEFORE or when the coin was launched. It's too late to stack more vaporware on top of this abandoned zero-volume platform. NXT should release a Roadmap Roadmap, to tell us their plans for future roadmap releases!  |

I'm not a big fan of DASH for various reasons. Mainly cuz of the Premine stuff.
A dev has only so many hours in the day to work on various projects. Masternode blinding is probably achievable, but it is getting delayed off because the DASH devs are prioritizing other stuff. The question you should ask is how are development resources being allocated.
It is my theory that DASH will do whatever is "trendy". Decentralized consensus is trendy. Privacy doesn't make the cut anymore, especially with regulatory attention on crypto. DASH wants to be mainstream. Its not darkcoin anymore, its fast scalable and smart, nobody is investing in any fintech privacy unicorns. Fast transactions isnt going to cut it either. Get ready for a name change.
THEORY CONFIRMED: Segregated Witness is super useful for Dash Evolution, we can use it to make decentralized SPV more efficient.

Craptsy may have put your DASH in a Masternode to earn dividends. But the payments have been buggy lately, so you have to wait unil eduffield reboots his centralized payment controller thingy. |

How surprising, the most relevant post in this thread is being conveniently ignored: anyway I did my own proper checks (we do all the time in securites on companies eg before acquisitions etc while we have a paid service I'm sure theres freebies on the net for such searches), anyway Paul Verns actually talking the truth, there is no current investigation by any of the agencies listed in this article
