3461  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit abuse altaccounts (w'out scamming) banevasion plagiarism not valid -ve on: February 27, 2021, 11:21:29 AM
Yes, I trust all the reviews. But in my understanding, this is important for those who directly want to interact with the flagged account. The red mark acts as a warning.
In my case, when I mark such accounts, this is a warning to bounty managers. No matter how negative we feel about bounty programs, but this is the same part of the forum.
And they involve people who are trying to work honestly. But when farms from multiple accounts are pitted against such participants, successfully raising their accounts in the rankings using transfer of merit, I think it's unfair. And the most appropriate is to tag the scammers.

I agree. In my opinion, scamming is a very broad term. If it is proven that a member cheated in bounty campaigns and promotions with multiple accounts, I see this as indirectly scamming other participants and organizers of such promotions. I think such users should be marked in red as a warning.

Crazy man has started going for bitcoin developers and their families saying that most of them will fold... so the only question is who will be his next target?
Maybe regular people and anyone who uses Bitcoin...

There's someone out there who's lost it completely.
The madhouse is too good for that guy.
3463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Lifeboat on: February 27, 2021, 08:23:39 AM
Bitcoin could provide a solution for countries (like Venezuela) that are mired in cash.

In Venezuela, the bolivar might as well not even exist, because it is literally worth less than the paper it’s printed on. The Venezuelan government has been forced to deal with the US Treasury and American sanctions. These sanctions banned any transactions of Venezuelan currency to the US and froze some of the country's assets. The Central Bank of Venezuela has therefore been forced to print notes and coins that are not accepted elsewhere, in order to stay afloat.
All of this could have been avoided had they integrated cryptocurrencies into their economy.
3464  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitamp Bitcoin Web Wallet - Send & Receive Bitcoin Instantly! on: February 26, 2021, 07:21:23 PM
<cut>

I think that's a satisfying answer.
The only thing I'd like to see is your official mobile app so there's no fear of threats associated to the web wallets when using the Bitamp Web Wallet.

A lot of people still use the Internet wrong by typing web addresses in google search instead in the address bar, and they don't even use bookmarks.
3465  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: February 26, 2021, 07:03:05 PM

3466  Local / Altcoins (Hrvatski) / Re: Mala pomoc..ako je moguce ? on: February 26, 2021, 06:48:54 PM

3467  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 suspending on 1st March 2021 :-( on: February 26, 2021, 06:39:26 PM
Anyway, these are just plans. I have some alternative projects to work on (and my family to be with), so it's not that I'll immediately jump into the next crunch :-)

I understand these are just indications of what might come in the future but I'm really looking forward to your new projects.
Also, thanks for the detailed explanation of what happened with the LTC bankroll investments. Now I can understand your decisions and I would probably do the same thing if I were you.

Anyway, I'm sad to see that Yolodice is leaving us, and I hope you'll be back soon with your new project. The crypto community needs more creative individuals like you.

...

Sarkazam?  Cheesy

Nista nije crno-belo.
3469  Economy / Gambling / Re: Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 suspending on 1st March 2021 :-( on: February 24, 2021, 10:20:16 AM
I'm not blaming anyone here, I'm just saying that something didn't work well here. Which casino can operate with a 50% loss?
<cut>

I was wondering the same thing at the time. According to all statistics, one player won massive amounts of LTC in just a few bets. There was a question whether there was an abuse of some kind of system bug or just extreme luck.
Although Ethan put some security measures after that, we never got a clear answer what really happened.
3470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Another Twitte for DOGE COIN on: February 21, 2021, 10:35:50 PM
I think yes, many people still follow him. But if you want to follow please becareful to buy a peak.
This trend should be ended, a buy signal without any fundamental or technical background isnt healthy.
Its just like pump-dump group, but only lead by a person.

Yes, I wonder how long this can take?
Sooner or later people will get tired of his tweets and I believe DOGE will dump to previous levels.
I'm not buying pump-and-dump coins.
3471  Local / Altcoins (Hrvatski) / Re: Pametni ugovor - osnovno objasnjenje on: February 21, 2021, 10:24:56 PM

Mozda mozemo pomoci u razvoju?
3472  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 suspending on 1st March 2021 :-( on: February 21, 2021, 06:58:02 PM
Why are you guys whining about YD's investment scheme? It is true that over a long timeline the house always wins but sometimes there is a thing called variance that allow people to be lucky and that can smash any house edge that is in place.
Any investment comes with some risks and I would say that is true especially with these kind of risks.

Because many of the investors in LTC bankroll are in a loss since August last year. I don't know if you're familiar with the events of that period.

Our LTC bankroll took a serious hit last week but it's getting up again. It might take a while, but hey - investing is long-time, right?

Many believed that eventually losing funds would be recovered, but now there is no time because the website is shutting down.
3473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin is now worth more than a kilo of pure gold! on: February 21, 2021, 06:09:36 PM
As Bitcoin price topped $57,500, it became more valuable than a 1000 gram block of gold.

At the time of writing, gold is currently trading at $ 1,784.28 per oz, according to GoldPrice.org, so a 1000 g bar would cost you about $ 57,365.93.
Bitcoin's price, according to Tradingview.com at the same time, is a little over $ 57,500.00

The reasons are simple: Bitcoin's limited supply is hard for governments, central banks and private corporations to control, which allows the network to grow and drive its value upwards. Gold, by comparison, is as big a store of value, but not so liquid.

Many like to call bitcoin as "digital gold", I like to call it ... bitcoinCheesy
3474  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think we will see a lot of weak hands at $100K on: February 21, 2021, 05:35:32 PM
Btw, I just realized that, at the moment, 1 BTC is worth more than 1kg of pure gold. So, another milestone behind us.  Cheesy
It's amazing how far we've gone in just four years.

Good point. $100,000 and 100,000 Euro are different things.

Many forget that USD is not a world currency.  Wink
3475  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 suspending on 1st March 2021 :-( on: February 21, 2021, 05:16:28 PM
Its going to hurt to investors as well, because those who are in deep red or in loss would have kept it invested in the site for longer time considering someday they would make a return or atleast will be near no profit no loss zone. But with sudden intimation investors will now have to book losses unless something changes in last 1 week and the losses get reduced. It's hard but finally its now fact where Yolo is suspending and will have to move on.

Yes, exactly. I'm one of them. I really expected that, with the lower commission on the LTC investments, I will have a chance to return the lost stake.
Now I know this is not going to happen and this has been one of the worst investment decisions for me.

Ofcourse there are always some who do get lucky and money hits them in the sweet spot, but its never happened to me and not sure it is going to ever happen.
3476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Artist _ bitcoin on: February 21, 2021, 03:43:23 PM
And then how does the transaction work? Huh  Huh

Smiley thank you for the answer

First of all, you need to get your bitcoin wallet. There are a number of solutions you can find information in this forum, but the general consensus is:
- a software wallet (desktop or mobile version) for smaller amounts
- a hardware wallet or "cold storage" for larger amounts, i.e. better security.

After that, you will be able to create your unique addresses to receive payments.

When you want someone to pay you in bitcoins, you just send them your BTC address (or publish it on your website) and wait for funds to be available on your wallet. Only then you deliver your art works to them.
3477  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: February 21, 2021, 02:32:19 PM

Hi everyone.

I guess you've seen Ethan post. This is the last week campaign because Yolodice is closing.

It might reopen one day but for now I wish you all a very good life and hope you liked the adventure Cheesy

Cheers

@MasaAllah, why do you keep saying you're now familiar with the forum's rules and at the same time you're constantly breaking them?
Don't you see what other members are trying to tell you?

Read the rules (all the rules). Read them one more time to be sure. Apply them to your actions and notice your errors.
Feel free to ask if you haven't figured something out, but stop complaining if you have no intention of respecting this community.

For example, this statement: "I just throw my account and re open another" is a clear indication of misunderstanding the forum rules and will certainly result in sanctions.
3479  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Novosti on: February 21, 2021, 12:55:57 PM
