This is an experiment, the study my be to the betterment of human and our planetary good at last. Scientist has helped humanity alot and we have to appropriate them for that.
Good to talk when it doesn't concern you. Why do you think I have a right to live at the expense of death of other living beings? Following this logic, you can come to someone's house to kill the owner and take his property.

I must ask you after this reply

Do you eat meat?

How many lives have you taken during your lifetime?

Hundreds, thousands, millions?

Nature kills

Animals kill other animals to survive, we kill other animals to survive

Nature is brutal, animals kill animals
And humans use their surrounding to improve their life, and so, we do this
We experiment

We must to advance, but as humanely as possible

Also, as stated before, they're just measuring his temperature  Cheesy

Why are you creating a self moderated thread on a 'myth busting' topic?

This destroys my will of contributing to the discussion by creating a fear of my post being deleted because it doesn't match your beliefs

To be honest, strenghtening the 'eastern flank' is a solid idea, since Russia did invade and annex a part of Ukraine
Why would Russia even care if someone builds up their defenses if they don't have pretensions on that territory?
3463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe that win in gambling is depending on your luck ? on: December 09, 2016, 10:14:52 PM

I think almost all types of gambling games is just depending to our luck. Even poker and sports betting that many are saying that it doesn't need luck but in reality, many poker players are hoping for their lucky cards and as well as the people who are betting in sports, they are also hoping a very lucky winning shot.

This is true.
It depends what kind of gambling, for example, poker has a huge experience factor!
A professional poker player will beat the shit out of you with a shitty hand, because he has experience, but you can still be very lucky and beat him

So, in poker, it does not only depend on your luck, it does a bit, but that's not even the half of it

While you play fruits, it's almost pure luck
Roulette pretty much
Blackjack, uhhh, most of it, but no all of it, you sneed to know a few things and have some experience playing

Now, again, I wouldn't want to get all philosophical but we need to think what we define as 'luck'  Cheesy
In roulette, it all depends on the random outcome of the spinning ball, however is that random outcome 'luck'?

If we define 'luck' as something that happens to 'lucky' people, hell no

But I believe most people who believe in 'luck' actually think that 'luck' is exactly that, a random outcome going your way, a random outcome that hits you on a positive way and makes you win

If we define luck that way, then yes, some of the gambling games are based purely on luck
Some require a bit of knowledge and some require a lot (ex. poker) Wink
3464  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Still Love Democracy? on: December 09, 2016, 09:57:20 PM
Well, if you compare democracy with communism or some other political systems in the past, democracy is still better political system.
It's true that democracy is not perfect but what is solution?
Anarchy?
I don't think so.
At least democracy can learn and become better over time and people have freedom to do what they want, and social security and protection.
If nobody can show me something better, I will not change my opinion about democratic political and social system.

Democracy does not perfect, but I'm sure she has great potential. Unfortunately people still do not have the ability to influence politicians. This leads to the fact that discredited the idea of democracy.

The problem with society today is that we raise our children to listen, instead of questioning

Children that suck up to teachers get better grades, while those who keep distance and don't get so deep in their buttholes you lose sight of them get worse grade, just because the teacher dislikes children that oppose him

Those who oppose the teachers views are the ones that will be punished, and followers will be rewarded

We are being taught to follow, instead of thinking on our own, and question everything we're being told

A standardized test each year should be introduced in schools, a test that will be required to pass the year instead of being subjectively graded based on the teachers mood and the liking of your charachter

Besides that, only a minor part of society discusses events, but majority of it discusses people
We are at the peak of human development, but we are still so stupid and stuck up on so petty things in life that it's just ridiculous..

And then we have these people voting  Cheesy

Democracy is the best system we got, but I believe we should still improve it (a lot!)

Plato
Quote
You see, my friend, the three shepherds on the hill? As long as they can outvote me nad Socrates, and then makes decisions, I will not believe in democracy.

I believe while voting, next to your candidate there should be a simple question about him, about his program etc.
You must answer it in order for your vote to count, if you get it wrong, your vote will not count
For starters  Cheesy

3465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be considered a "high risk investment"? on: December 08, 2016, 01:40:50 PM
I don't see how gambling is different from trading Smiley

Trading is trading with actual stocks that will grow or fall in value according to events in the real world
It is risky, but when it's tied with outter events, it is an investment, because it is related to those things, it is inclined if USA invades a middle eastern country and they start selling dirt cheap oil, the prices of oil will fall
Gambling is a random outcome of numbers, nothing else
There is no knowledge needed to predict what's going to affect what, only strategies that probably don't have an purpose except for a delusion you'll beat the house long term

Short term win is possible , win and get out  Wink
3466  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Still Love Democracy? on: December 08, 2016, 01:20:30 PM
Communism is evil and it should be forbidden to use its symbols in any modern country

True this. I saw a black man walking around with a Che guevara shit lol. The bulk of the people idolizing them don't even know what these people stood for. It's an evil, deadly ideology.
Che Guevara is one of the Communist idols. I think the more hands in the blood, the more they worship this leader. I am sure that Hitler would be their hero if the Soviet Union did not fight with Germany and began to each other to fight. After all, until 1941 they were friends, and together they divided Europe.

It's funny to me how they pretend to be moral authorities and especially anti-facists, although they cooperated with Hitler, divided Poland and enforced dictatorships upon their people, took their freedom of speech etc.
And today they represent themselves as anti-facists
Although they fought alongside nazis, although they cooperated with the facists until June 22. 41. Barbarossa which is "funny", the day the first Partisan division was founded
Day that the Nazis attacked USSR, why weren't they anti-facists before it tangled with their own interests?

You do not appreciate democracy until you feel the wrath of dictatorship on your own skin
Democracy is everything
3467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: December 08, 2016, 01:05:44 PM
I myself know the world since bitcoin and start from where I came to know about gambling. I used to gamble just to fill the void of time / boredom when trading. but gradually I became addicted to gambling. which should be used for trading bitcoin I used to gamble. BTC until I lost entirely. until at last I borrowed a friend just to gamble. but I now have a gambling establishment for not returning

I think you mean you will never be gambling again and that's good, but I want to warn you about trading. If you'll go through the topics on this forum you'll see that many people regard trading as gambling and I'm among them too. If you really want to increase your capital you should work hard for the coins and then just hold them. Trading is where you think you can make quick money but don't forget that you also can lose your money quickly there.

This is absolutely true, you must be very careful when trading, and same as in gambling, never deposit something you can't afford to lose!

When trading, the house (trader, broker, website, whatever), also takes a percentage

Only the deposited money minus the fee can get out, which means there is less money coming out than coming in
But that's true about basically everything in the world, however, still, trade carefully, you don't have the years of experience  or the power to manipulate the market  Cheesy

Be careful  Smiley

You must know yourself at least on 80% that say "I will never eating human flesh even I would die" because people doing many moot and terrible things to survive even that they don't expect from themselves

Thank you  Smiley

Well, we do not know what the purpose of life is, except to survive as long as possible, all our instincts are based that way
We WILL try to survive no matter what
And we will eat whatever the hell we get our hands on if there's nothing else to eat

Imagine you're one of the last 1000 humans in the post apocaliptic world, no matter you're willing to die
Would you be that selfish and ignore the survival of the human race?
No, you wouldn't
You'd eat the fucking dead human in order to survive  Cheesy

"Sometimes a communist country with a good leader brings more freedom to the people" Countries like what? Communism and freedom aren't going together that much, a freedom of speech that is.

You're free to agree with the goverment, free to write what the goverment tells you to write, free to clap your hands for an hour until the officials leave, free to speak only what you're allowed to say and free to steal from those who have created something on their own.
If you refuse the advantages of these luxuries you are always free to go to a gulag  Smiley

Countries from the ex USSR and Yugoslavia still allow their citizens to worship this regime
Fact is communism murdered millions and millions more then facism ever did and they still walk around with red stars on their heads and hail Stalin and Tito

Communism is evil and it should be forbidden to use its symbols in any modern country
3470  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Still Love Democracy? on: December 08, 2016, 12:32:15 PM

Political dynasties occur everywhere and politics is a battle of families. Democracy today is useless, it is just a guise but the truth remains that the people are less free, they become more closer to poverty and hardship while the oligarchs that rules the government enslaves them and enjoys a happy and luxurious life. Sometimes a communist country with a good leader brings more freedom to the people rather than a democratic country run by enslaving and corrupt individuals.

This is completely untrue, there was never a succesful communist country

Communism fails as soon as the country runs out of other peoples money, money they stole from people who earned it, political opposition and anyone else who opposed them
They nationalize (aka. steal) and as soon the money is given out and there is no new assets to steal, communism fails

Capitalism overcomes communism in even the tiniest aspects

Communism is a big pile of shit

Read 'Animal farm' by George Orwell, I really loved the book and it plainly describes what communism is and was
3471  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drug free in the Philippines on: December 08, 2016, 12:17:55 PM
If allowed everywhere weapons and drugs, then the world will come to an end. Clearly the world is very dangerous for a normal person.

There is nothing in common between drugs and weapons. Also, the world has not come to an end in Portugal and Uruguay, despite the legalization of drugs. On the other hand, the incidence of violence is the most in those countries where even soft-drugs are illegal.
That's not true. Where there is drugs there is always crime and chaos. Any drug is addictive. What little alcohol addicted people? You acknowledge add to them and drug addicts? No, I am against legalization of any drugs.

There is crime and chaos where illegal drugs obtain, not drugs.

Alcohol was once illegal, remember prohibition and all the mafia bosses smuggling liquor?

Crime and guns have nothing to do with drugs, but with them being forbidden.

Their harmful effects are another thing.

How we define what is a drug and what isn't is very... weird.
For example, tobacco creates physical addiction, it creates lung, throat and tongue cancer, millions die because of cigarettes and they're legal and widely considered 'normal' and something that isnt' a drug, while marijuana doesn't kill, doesn't create physical addiction and it's considered a drug by some.
Alcohol kills people, it makes you stutter, you can't walk if you drink too much, you sit behind the wheel and you kill someone, millions died because of this, not mentioning other long term effects of overdrinking and it's also considered normal and not a drug.

To sum up my point, 'drugs' are a social construct we shape as we want, narrow minded people think something is bad just because it's illegal avoiding to objectively and critically think about any of those 'drugs', I believe only drugs that cause physical addiction should be forbidden including cigarettes, however this is an impossible dream..
People are dumb and they will continue to poison themselves, so fuck it, it's their own body, let them do whatever the hell they want to do..
3472  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Still Love Democracy? on: December 08, 2016, 12:05:55 PM
Democracy is an idea, the people should be able to decide what they want their country to do but so many times, the interests of the few overcome the interests of the many.
That is the main problem, direct democracy is something that must be improved in every country, things as referendums are a must!
Referendums must be optimized to cost less, aka. digital voting, volunteers etc. and require less signatures to be taken so the nation actually has the means to correct actions from politicians they do not support.

Elected politicians often forget that they are where they are to serve the nation and not vice versa and that's why direct democracy must be improved.
Democracy is a growing system, we had it for a long time but we must improve it so the individual has more power.

And yes, I still love it, although flawed, it's still the best system we have.
The current system of democracy does not meet their requirements. I believe that the government is the sphere which requires special education and does not tolerate publicity. For these purposes, democracy can be destructive.

Whose requirements?

Democracy can be destructive if implemented badly, corruption WILL happen if everything is not transparent, but this is not a problem of democracy but a problem of control.
On the other hand, a country can be destroyed if carelessly implemented democratic principles. All should be the measure. I think that the crisis of democracy is associated with the lack of communication of the politicians with the people.

That's exaclty what I said in my previous reply, direct democracy must increase as politicians often don't reprensent the will of the people who they're supposed to represent
I believe they should also be graded by the nation and their salary judged on the average grade
Most of them would probably starve,  so I'd put a min. and max. salary so they can at least eat  Cheesy

Market competition is what improves everything, race to become the best, to earn the most by giving the buyer what he wants
And here we are the buyers
We pay them to represent us, if they do not do so we will grade them badly and they will earn less
At the new elections we will pick somebody else and he wouldn't give a damn for 4 years unless we had an option to decrease his salary
I have an idea of digitalazing the whole political process so politicians remain under control of the people during their 4 year rule, not just before the elections

Pročitah temu opet danas, zanima me..

Kako tada prijavljujem dobit kada ona više nije 'inozemna'?

Btw, mislio sam da se spominjalo u temi ali očito nije
Nisu li drugačiji razredi plaćanja poreza?
Do 2200 kuna 13% i iznad 25%?

Također, što s ovim?

Quote

3474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be considered a "high risk investment"? on: December 08, 2016, 10:53:37 AM
Gambling is definitely high risk but I wouldn't call it an investment. Some betting games are purely chance while others do require some skill. Even those are hard to call an investment unless you are very good at them.

Indeed, gambling is a high risk investment if you consider it as an investment .I do not consider gambling as an investment, unless you invest on the sites that will give you a share or dividend say twice a year.
Most sites allow you to withdraw your investment at any time.

So does gambling  Cheesy

However, gambling is a luck game.

You wouldn't consider a lottery ticket an investment, would you?

An investment is something you invest in, something that operates a business that will possibly bring income and you will get your share
Gambling doesn't fall under this definition
It would be an investment if you deposited a bankroll for a casino, and expected returns
That is an investment

Depositing to gamble isn't an investment, but a gamble, aka. a luck game with a risk factor

3477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In what gambling games are you good at? on: December 08, 2016, 10:33:55 AM
I am very good at sports betting, because I think the game is fairly easy to predict and not fully depend on luck.

you're right, maybe just a sports gambling that has a chance that does not depend on luck. but, you should know good information about what teams are playing. you also have to look from the players and coaches. if it's all you analysis, perhaps you can predict who will win and score will appear

Yeah, I also have a belief that sports gambling has a much better chance compared to other gambling. Because in our Sports gambling only requires a skill in analyzing of all the match and eventually we can benefit if we did good in doing analysis of all things that exist, so this is a thing that could not be obtained in any gambling. Can only use gambling well then profits will we can get easily, because of gambling without thought is true then only will give us great harm or even make us addiction where we will get a bad life

With sports betting you are more likely to believe the outcome is not framed as it can be on roulette, fruits and other games in actual casinos
I mean, there's a lot of sports framing but it's not like the Champions League finals are going to be framed  Cheesy

I'm good at football bets sometimes xD
