3461  Economy / Economics / Re: Robert Kiyosaki expects a market crash and economic crisis - do you believe it? on: January 03, 2022, 12:29:01 PM
I'm actually waiting for the big crash to happen, and It seems like it is nearing to happen as Bitcoin price is gradually going down.
This advice from Robert Kiyosaki is actually an opportunity to earn more profit in the future, because Bitcoin is always gonna bounce back stronger after a bearish season.
Market crash isn't something to be worried of, and It's already expected after a long bullish run, the market needs to consolidate to continue moving forward.
You are sounding like market crash on crypto space but I guess OP is all about worldwide economic slowdown and then tis consequence of market crash on every country's economy and not just limited to crytpo space. I mean if another economic recession comes like 2008, I guess crypto will boom whereas stocks will fall. So, you may NOT get chances to accumulate bitcoin at cheaper prices, lol.

Moreover, that is is my basic idea about cryptocurrency against world economy but anything could happen because when pandemic hit for the first time, cryptocurrency also reacted to it but bounced back quicker than stock markets.

It could be that the chance to accumulate bitcoin at cheaper price is now. Bitcoin was above the current price most of the time in 2021. Those who want to buy cheap BTC can try to wait until another $30k, but it's risky because it may never happen. Each time BTC was briefly around $30k in 2021, it was bouncing up quickly from there.

Regarding Kiyosaki, it's actually good to read experts' opinions, but imo he's not even in the top 100 you should read.
3462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com & responsible gambling? on: January 03, 2022, 11:56:30 AM
~Maybe you don't know that all those adverts that is always sent to him can trigger the feelings of gambling again. Gambling addiction is a spirit which needs to be avoided of not.

Even if he does not receive any advert/promotional email, the trigger may come from other place where he lives or even it may come from his own mind.
The key of recovering from addiction is on ourselves, success or not will be depending on ourselves as we are the one who responsible for our own problems.
Never blame other parties of our problems, we should find our own best way to solve it.

Absolutely. If we can be triggered by an e-mail, then we can be triggered by anything, from a scene in a movie to a graffiti on a dirty wall.  Those are all excuses from dealing with the problem properly. A gambling addict should be visiting a specialist, and maybe taking some medicines, until nothing could make him gamble again. Before that day giving this person money(including such money he's trying to get from Stake) would only worsen his condition.
3463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Historical Bitcoin Prices😊 on: January 03, 2022, 11:21:17 AM
~ It is a matter of time seeing bitcoin will hit $100k in 2022 as I am sure that bitcoin will go to that price. Meanwhile, we can feel satisfied with the current price because we can back sell some bitcoin and enjoy the profit with our family. This year gives more profit for me and I am sure we can make another profit in the next year so we can still hope while we keep trying to prepare ourselves for the next bull run.

It's nice to see that I'm not alone in thinking the same. Right now, when BTC is down by 7% in the last 7 days, it might look crazy to predict $100k this year, but if you read the history of Bitcoin price, you can see that there were times when people were saying that Bticoin will never reach $1 USD. I mean, it seemed as impossible as $100k seems right now. Smiley

Am not saying, sell everything and buy Bitcoin, but if you have some sats, try not to sell them at deep.
3464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just seeing what interest there is for another Betnomi Poker Series on: January 03, 2022, 10:37:30 AM
I suggest everyone to write their preferences regading time, tourneys per week and buy-ins; and then, maybe, it will be easier to discuss the final schedule. Here's mine:

1. Starting time:

Friday, Saturday, Sunday - From 5 PM UTC to 8 PM UTC

2. Buy-ins:

If one game per week: $15 - $20
If 2 games per week: $8 - $12

But those are just my preferences. I've been waiting for this for so long that I feel like I'm going to agree to any scenario that's good for the majority. Smiley

~ Regarding borrowing money to solve urgent financial problems, it can be done, if indeed we no longer have coins that can be sold. But as long as we still have coins to sell, we should not borrow money from anywhere

That's what I think too, but I heard many times things like OP is saying here: "Fear is not Real", "Sooner or later we'll hit a new ATH", "Hodl, don't sell" etc. I personally believe those words myself, but there are times when you have to cash out even though you know well that the price may be several times higher in the future. I'm an optimist regarding the future of Bitcoin, but I wouldn't recommend anyone to bet big money on that, especially short term.

Floyd Mayweather earned more than $560 million
vs
Conor McGregor earned around  $15 million

OMG, somehow I've missed that fighters could be earning such numbers. I knew that some of them were making tens of millions in one fight, but what I read in the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor wiki article really shocked me. They say Mayweather reportedly earned $280 million from the fight. This is more than highest-paid movie stars earning in a whole year! I've been always thinking that movie stars were the ones who earns the most.

Well, it's never too late to learn something new, even just a few hours before the New Year. Smiley

Have a great New Year's Eve celebration, guys, and be happy in 2022!

And yeah good on you, Betwrong, and this is a reminder to everyone playing. Just play every week.
~

Thank you, @buwaytress. Indeed what we need is to not forget to make our predictions for each round.

Lady Luck is smiling at me in the end of this year. Smiley After winning Yellow Cap in Round 19, I took 6th place in  Round 20

and climbed up 3 more places.

Even if you don't win in the end, a yellow cap brings you $50 freebet. That's your fee right there paid up and you can win more than once every week.

I received my free bet yesterday, used it the same day, and I won!

What a week for me! So happy that the efforts put in research weren't in vain.

Now we have 9 matches in Round 21. I feel like this round can make a lot of changes in the Leaderboard. Don't forget to make your predictions, guys!

Have a happy New Year's Eve celebration, and may Lady Luck smile at you during 2022!
3471  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: December 30, 2021, 01:34:25 PM
The Blockchain is so straightforward but 90% individuals actually fail to see how it functions.

Imo, you don't need to see how it functions to be using it successfully. How many of almost 5 billion people using the Internet understand how it works? And what about 6 billion using electricity? It's good for you to know this stuff, no doubt about it, same as it's good for a blockchain developer to know how to cook Tom Yum soup, but let's not blame people for not knowing things out of their field of expertise.

It's already down again. I bet on the "$40,001 - $45,000" range, which has got 19.82x multiplier eventually. Please don't get me wrong, I don't want BTC price to be going down, I just want it to be in that range for a couple of days. Smiley
Well betwrong... you probably bet wrong Cheesy All jokes aside, of course it could drop to under 45k in a few days there is no denying that but I do not see that type of fall as of right now. I still can't believe that 45k-50k has such a high odd, I mean that was literally the price for most of the month and it should have been something under 3.00 if you ask me.

Right now, only one that is under 3.00 seems to be 52k to 55k level and comparing how many days we spent there? It is very low versus 45k to 50k which was most of the month. I am glad that I wagered on both 45k to 50k and 50k to 52.5k, those were my only 2 bets and there is a very good chance I will win.

Right now, when it's less than 2 days left, and it looks like Bitcoin is going down,

I wouldn't say I bet wrong for it to be in the "$40,001 - $45,000" range at 23.59 UTC on the 31st of December 2021. Smiley Again, of course I expect a new ATH soon, in the beginning of January, maybe. I just want to win my bet, and then I want BTC to the moon. Smiley

Recently I won 3,900 Lottery Tickets with WoF(rare thing these days, right?)

Now having a decent amount of tickets

I expect winning something in 3 days. Smiley
3473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling company's responsibility on: December 30, 2021, 11:30:33 AM
Some company give gambling licenses. Curacao company, UK gaming company (UKGC), Danish Gambling Authority etc. Curacao Company licensed some prominent betting sites. Do they monitor after giving license? Now a days a lot of betting sites have  gotten license from Curacao but their support is not up to the mark. Even some betting sites scam with customers. Even this forum we have seen some gambling sites negative review.

CMIIW, but I think the main idea of those licenses is to take sorta KYC of gambling site owners.

When you play on an unlicensed platform, you can be scammed in many ways: site disappears with your money; slots and other games are rigged to significantly reduce RTP; you can't withdraw your winnings etc.
If the gambling site owners are anonymous, they can do all those things and get away with it, but if site is licensed they may face legal procedures.
3474  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Bitcasino & Trippies will take you to paradise 🤩 on: December 30, 2021, 10:39:44 AM
One of the things that I like the most about bitcasino.io apart from its games and the great opportunities they give, is that everything here is like a big family, the atmosphere is really good, it causes being always here, it is an additional outlet, and despite that you do not see the faces of the players nor do you know what each one of us is like, we can give ourselves an image that they are nice people, my best wishes to the whole great Bitcasino.io family and that everyone have a lot of peace, prosperity and a Great start to the Year, may 2022 continue to be a year of many successes for everyone.

Thank you for these warm words, @LUCKMCFLY!

Indeed it feels like in a big close-knit family here. Not only our own wins make us happy, but we are happy for anyone here who wins.

Let me share with you, guys, my today's wins on Bitcasino.io.
I decided to play my current favorite slot, Legion X, and I hit 10x of my bet right away

"Not bad", I said to myself, but I wasn't prepared to see this just several spins later

46.5x of my bet. Feels good. Smiley
3475  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: December 29, 2021, 12:44:48 PM
They are gamblers most of them which make more money by getting and attracting a lot of new followers in their Youtube channels rather than from gambling actually.Of course most of them can be paid from gambling sites to promote themselves there and in their description to offer referral links with bonus attached to them to play in a specific casino which is their sponsor. This is a very normal marketing strategy if you ask me,I see nothing immoral here.

I see nothing immoral there either. Basically, in those videos you can see what might happen when this or that slot was played. I mean it would be immoral if they were editing their videos to make it look like they were winning big amounts while in reality it never happened. But they never do that kind of stuff. They are showing real spins, and that's why I like to watch such videos, but of course I know the probability of that happening to me, so I don't expect winning 20,000x within an hour of playing. It can happen, but most likely it will not.
3476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fear is not Real. on: December 29, 2021, 11:43:47 AM
Many people have their doubts on themselves if this is an ideal to make an investment with this coin or just ignore this coin and nothing will happen on it. Its all about the risk taken by the investor it's a high risk-reward. We have different situations and financial stability so it's one of the factors too. It's all about the risk that can manage by the investor. This is like if you a change grab it or ignore the opportunity.
People who are not well financially stable would always be worried whenever they invest their money in the cryptocurrency market, because they know that they can be in need of that money that they have invested at any time. So they won’t be able to hold that much and when they notice that the market is going down, they would be forced to sell their position in the market and get off. If you’re not financially stable, sometimes you might have some problems that would require money for you to solve and you’d have no other option than to go ahead and your sell your coins no matter the condition in the market.

I know exactly what you are talking about. It is so painful to sell BTC when you know it's during a deep, but sometimes you simply have no other choice. I mean, there's always another choice, you can borrow money somewhere, but imo "that ain’t a choice", as they say in The Matrix Resurrections. You never know when the next bull market hits. It can take a year or even more, yeah, as we know from the past experience, it can take three years. Borrowing money all this time, not knowing when you can pay back, is hell on earth. I'm not doing this. Nor would I suggest to do it to anyone.

Nope, Impossible... hahaha They are used I'm telling you.

Tried 30 seconds after you posted BELLS
Tried 2 seconds after you posted CANDLE

Can't redeem.

I am verified user, deposited also.
Shouldn't be account problem Sad

If a code posted here is claimable only once, it's no wonder it isn't working for you(or for me), we have less than 1% chance of being successful. What's important is that someone was lucky enough to be the first to claim and get the prize. As you can see @Bitinity here won 500 Free Spins in Yak, Yeti & Roll, and before him others won too. It's an amazing promo, and we shouldn't be offended if luck wasn't on our side this time.

Congrats to the winners!

Thanks for the promo codes, Tornike and FortuneJack!

Happy Holidays to all!  Smiley
3479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 29, 2021, 09:57:52 AM
~ I'm not trying to make an excuse for Dana here, I'm 100 percent on the side of increasing the wages considering what they do. I'd probably be on the side of asking for reductions in Boxing, and other sports though. Although, to be fair UFC fighters are criminally underpaid if the reported figures are to be believed, when you compare them to other professional sports.

Though, she definitely has more money to her name, as well as other fighters since they also get sponsorships, and we know that the sponsorships pay fairly well. I wouldn't be too far taken back if the sponsorships are paying fighters better than the actual production.

Now, after researching a bit, I think she does have more money to her name than it is stated on those sites(around $500k). I think they don't take into account sponsorships, and maybe some other things, because I came across very different numbers

According to International Business Times, there are three salary tiers that a UFC fighter can fall into: low, medium, and high, with the lowest earners taking home between $10,000 and $30,000, and the highest tier raking in between $500,000 and $3,000,000 per fight.

and I believe they are closer to the truth. Knowing that Claudia Gadelha was paid $100,000 for only one fight, when she lost to Joanna Jedrzejczyk it's hard to believe that her lifetime earnings is only $500k. But, on the other hand, it wasn't an ordinary fight. You can't have many of them during your career. So, I absolutely agree with you regarding increasing the wages.
