3461  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcointalk is a good way to get information about Bitcoins? on: April 16, 2016, 11:38:09 AM
yes i agree, although it has been a little bit crowded with signature campaign posters but it is still a good place to stay up to date with the latest news and drama going on with bitcoin and also altcoins,
3462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Martingale Profitable ??? on: April 14, 2016, 08:40:59 AM
I think when we sit to gamble we all play progressive. We need to double, triple our bets to make something. Its true what most people think about it, nothing work on long run.
When I gamble now I don't gamble for long, sit a bit on dice game, change to roulette, poker or anything else. Play 5 - 10 minutes and that's it. I have much better results now then before when I wanted to win so much and forced every game.
For me any strategy can be profitable if you don't use it all day every day. Gambling require patience and self control.
So its not so much about strategy, its more up to you and how you feel the game! Good luck.

You can do that or you can simple double your winnings, and then triple, quadruple if you get multiple winners. This way you are risking a small amount and can win big.

when using martingale method you won't win triple, quadruple,... it is based on your multiplier and if it is 2x then you will always win 2x of what you have bet. triple, quadruple,... is the amount that you lose or in other words you have to increase your bet amount on each bet in order to cover the previous loss totals.
3463  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cheaters (double spenders) and what the gambling sites are doing against them on: April 14, 2016, 08:34:56 AM
this is strange i have not seen any place that accepts bitcoin with 0 confirmation and even if they do it is so rare and they only accept it with 0 confirmation if the transaction size is really small.
3464  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: April 14, 2016, 08:31:13 AM

Investment not always ended with profit, investment also have a risk. Bitcoin is good for investment but you need know when is the right time to buy and the right time to sell.

of course yess, i invest arround 0.5btc at cloudmining and now the site is can't acces, trading is best choice but for newbie it's very risky.

the reason why an investment cannot end in profit is because the investors are newbies that are too lazy to do some research before investing in that plan.
for example, doing some research or just googling the cloudminer's name with keyword scam will show them if they can trust it or not.
3465  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: April 14, 2016, 08:26:57 AM
Impossible for bitcoin cause if you will ask somebody about bitcoin, 50% wil answer no. Other 50% will answer yes, but not everybody want to change current money.

that's true there always will be people who will never change and never adopt bitcoin no matter how big it gets.
besides there is always banks and government that doesn't want to see the old ways change because it is beneficial for them.
3466  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have we left the 200's for ever? on: April 14, 2016, 08:20:01 AM
there is trick question here the topic asks a different question than the poll with two opposite responds, i think that is why the results are 50/50

anyways i don't think it is ever possible to see prices below $300 because if it goes even below $400 we are all going to buy a lot of bitcoin and the price will come back up again!
3467  Economy / Speculation / Re: End of the 2016 - BTC Price Prediction on: April 14, 2016, 08:13:45 AM
if we are looking at the price that bitcoin can have by the end of 2016 i am guessing somewhere around $600-$700

but also i am expecting a big rise which can bring the price up to $1000 and more in mid 2016 and then go back to $600 by the end
3468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy BTC now or wait for a lower price? on: April 14, 2016, 08:07:47 AM
Is now a good time to buy BTC and wait it out long term?

i would say, you should have bought yesterday!
but there is no time for would'a could'a should'a thinking, so you should hurry up and buy if you don't want to regret this day in a couple of weeks and kick yourself for losing the golden opportunity to buy cheap.
3469  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am confused with trading.Help me out on: April 14, 2016, 08:00:39 AM
Thank you so much to everyone who posted here and shared their knowledge. It has helped me a lot and I hope will help others also.Trading is lucrative but it involves risk too and thanks for reminding me this and teaching basic of trading
This is the real function of forum to spread and share knowledge / experience.

Glad to hear it was helpful for you, just additional comment from me , if you are talking about trade bitcoin-fiat then I think it is needed large capital to start. Try trade on altcoin, you might can start trading with 1 btc capital only and you can earn more than 50% of your capital a day.

i don't agree with this, it doesn't matter how much you start with for trading no matter what you trade (bitcoin or altcoin) in both cases you can start with a small same size investment and make profit or lose money.
but altcoin have more profit but also more loss while bitcoin trading has less change.
3470  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: April 14, 2016, 07:55:59 AM
with 10BTC =~$4200 i would invest in trading more and dedicate more of my time to learn moroe about trading and maybe buy a trading bot to make things easier for myself in order to maximize the profit.
3471  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CEX.IO Unable to transfer funds? on: April 13, 2016, 01:32:18 PM
why don't you withdraw your investment in the form of a cryptocurrency like bitcoin it is much easier and if you want the money you can just sell it on another platform the transfer fee is only a 0.0001BTC for withdrawal.

you can do this until their platform is fixed.
3472  Economy / Services / Re: earn money on new furom. on: April 13, 2016, 01:27:54 PM
do they provide payment because there no sign of payment provide in this thread

well, i signed up with the promise of $1 reward which i never got because they closed the topic super fast.

3473  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: April 13, 2016, 01:19:51 PM
If because u quit trading the option is try to invest your bitcoin amin an legit investment site . before u invest try to search if us legit or scam . invest at ur own risk.

buying and holding bitcoin is just so boring, there is not excitement or not money in that. i always prefer trading over holding and most definitely over investing in another business that can rip me off.
3474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: April 13, 2016, 01:15:56 PM
Yes he is correct, its very difficult to speculate how much you would make.

The only thing is that you should leave the money there as long as possible due to the house edge.

and this is why i don't like investing in bitcoin casinos.
it is more like a partnership rather than investment because you are sharing in the profit and also sharing in the losses and nothing is clear and set from the beginning.
3475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: April 13, 2016, 01:11:24 PM
I think not just pick something with the highest percentage of winning. Gambling is not mend for people to win but to lose. That is why the odds are always against you.

i agree, that is exactly why i have always said gambling is not a method of making money but just a way of losing your money.

but that doesn't mean you can't make money from gambling or you can't change your chances like by betting on sports
3476  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make 17 BTC out of 7 BTC ? on: April 13, 2016, 01:05:45 PM
How about CFD trading, you could easily do some more or less basic TA in order to risk a tenth (0,7 btc) while using 10x leverage, cut losses at -5% and take profit at whatever you see fit.

i have never heard of this term before.
by googling it sounds a little bit complicated, am i right?

can you explain a bit more about this.
3477  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to manage money? on: April 13, 2016, 01:01:24 PM
what i do is that i always keep an emergency money in the bank with my bank card so it is always at hand for cases of emergency and each month i deduct my expenses and spend that money and if by any chance there is anything left over i would invest it, most probably in bitcoin.
3478  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 Bitcoin = $1,000,000 on: April 13, 2016, 12:55:18 PM
People hope that this is going to happen in the future that is way they never sell anything now. It is a gamble because you do not know what is going to happen with Bitcoin in the future.

nah, it is an investment not a gamble there is a huge difference between these two.
it is not like gambling because you can study the market and do some analysis then make a decision based on your speculation then invest and it wouldn't be like waking up one morning seeing price is 0
3479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with 1,5 BTC? on: April 13, 2016, 12:51:47 PM
with 1.5BTC i would only get more into trading and mostly in trading altcoins, but that is just me.
there are other options like investing in casinos bankroll which can be profitable but still risky, you can also start lending bitcoin to those who need it which can be safe if you take a good collateral.

I would just hold this money because I don't know how to trade, it seems too risky to me. IMO holding Bitocins is better than investing money in something - you have around 20% increase per year doing nothing, risking nothing.

well it depends on the investment. first of all what i said was about investing bitcoin not money. but for money it depends on the investment there are sometimes some good high chance of profit investments in some businesses that will pay more than we are risking here with bitcoin.
3480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: April 13, 2016, 12:47:36 PM

PayPal needs to accept bitcoin as a funding option.

Agree with this one. Some people offers exchanging services (Btc-paypal and vice versa). Although there are some trusted exchanger, most of them have too much transaction fees. If paypal will consider bitcoin as a funding option, exchanging bitcoin into dollars will be a less hassle.

i think they are eventually going to do this.
because bitcoin has been growing bigger everyday and becoming more popular and more expensive and none of these businesses want to be left behind.
