3461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The leader of the collapse of the currency circle on: November 15, 2022, 10:40:47 AM
~snip~
To think about what would happen if they did not exist I think it is not worth spending much time because they will continue to exist, but I think that from now on it will be with much stricter regulations, and we will see what implications this has for the Bitcoin that I fear will be in line with what the EU has in mind: more KYC everywhere, even trying to force hardware wallets to implement it,

I have nothing against it, and I even agree that it should be much more strictly regulated who can run a CEX and what obligations they should have towards their clients. This would first of all mean that their funds (cryptocurrencies&fiat) should be 100% insured and that the company has the obligation to indemnify everyone in case of hacking or any other event for which it is responsible.

Ordinary people should not be any victims of irresponsible actions of greedy and irresponsible individuals, and even if someone manages to implement some super strict measures for individual users, it means absolutely nothing in the sense that some new Mt.Gox, Quadriga, or FTX will not happen again.
3462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earnings via crypto network, daily - 5$? on: November 15, 2022, 10:27:43 AM
@mnetbih, If you've been doing it for 20 years, then you should have already learned that without good advertising and marketing, and SEO optimization, you can't expect any significant results. Your local market is certainly not a place where you can expect high-roller players from whom you could earn something through the referral system, so you have to reach richer markets like the US, UK, and Western Europe.

Read my previous post again (especially the second part), and try to be more active on the forum. In addition to the fact that you can learn a lot, I am sure that as an active member you will also have some opportunity to earn money in one way or another, although don't think that it will happen overnight.
3463  Economy / Speculation / Re: Markets pumped quick after CZ said this, but don't FOMO yet! on: November 15, 2022, 10:15:47 AM
It was defiantly CZ tweet that caused that massive pump yesterday. I saw the huge move and then checked Twitter and in that exact moment he tweeted.

I don't know what kind of massive pump you are talking about, so the price changed only 1% or maybe slightly above that - and someone calls it a pump Huh

Who is then responsible for the pump that happened on November 10 when we had a price increase from $15.7k to $18k? Did CZ burp after a hearty breakfast, or did Mr. Mars fart, was it some kind of el efecto mariposa?

3464  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: 🔥BTC✪DOGE✪LTC✪DASH✪DGB✪SOL✪TRX✪FEY✪ETH✪ZEC✪🔥Best Faucets🔥 on: November 14, 2022, 04:11:22 PM
@ShakilTaj, faucets are not something that you will earn from (some significant amount) as an ordinary user, unless you are successful in promoting your ref links, although some faucets do not even pay anything for the referrals you bring them. Another way is to become a faucet owner, but to build something popular and successful, you would need a lot of time and money.

Good luck with the claims, I hope the rewards have at least increased a little after the BTC price drop.
3465  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: I need help to import my wallet, please help me ! on: November 14, 2022, 03:36:11 PM
As far as I know, Mt.Gox is no longer accepting requests for compensation and they are now supposedly in the process of final preparations for payouts. Maybe there is another way that I don't know about, but it seems to me that Mt.Gox is a dead end and a done deal.

I have my wallets password of my computer. But my broken computer  was in my family house and mum puts in the computer in  dustbin. I hand no idea that I could have restore the data from the hard drive. I now live in abroad. I don't know how to import my wallet in my new computer.

If the computer ended up in the trash together with the hard drive on which the wallet files were located, then you have nothing, and no passwords or anything else will help you. If by any chance you have that hard drive, then you can try to save the data, and whether you want to do it yourself or seek the help of professionals who deal with it is something you have to decide.
3466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: thank god for bringing btc back in 2018. on: November 14, 2022, 03:16:37 PM
I hope it goes down even more, how happy I am every time I will be able to get some btc at a fair price.

If you hope enough and if you think that God has something to do with it, then you will certainly get the opportunity to buy at a fair price, but only if you pray for it every day for at least 5 hours until your wish comes true Wink

It is unbelievable that someone wants an even lower price considering that the last ATH was even $69k, and today we have prices in the range of $15k - pure greed and nothing more than that.
3467  Economy / Speculation / Re: Markets pumped quick after CZ said this, but don't FOMO yet! on: November 14, 2022, 10:17:19 AM
It's incredible how people think and what they see as the reasons why the price changed by 1% and they still define it as a pump Roll Eyes

If CZ and Mr. Mars published some apocalyptic statement today, would that mean that Bitcoin would die (again) and panic would reign? Saving projects that are otherwise strong is one of the biggest stupid things I've read, but if it makes sense to someone, be happy because the great savior has spoken to you with words of comfort.
3468  Other / Politics & Society / Re: U.S. watches nervously as Europe turns to South Korea for weapons on: November 14, 2022, 10:02:47 AM
Given recent increases in shipping expenses, it makes sense for europe to turn to locally produced defense contractors to avoid the increased expense of having vehicles and equipment shipped overseas from america's distant shores.

Do you consider South Korea a local producer when it comes to the EU? The shortest route between Warsaw and Seoul is just under 5000 km, while the shortest route between Warsaw and Washington would be around 7000 km, and there really is a difference, but still not so much that it would be a reason for Poland or another EU country to start cooperating with South Korea just for that reason.

The reason why some EU countries turn to alternative sources is that the US can hardly keep up with the demand coming from Ukraine, and at the same time ensure that it does not damage its military reserves and threaten national security. Therefore, if the US cannot deliver, why should they be angry that countries like Poland buy from other sources, which are also their allies?

In addition, it was the US that insisted that all NATO members invest at least 2% of their GDP in defense, and the war obviously opened the eyes of some countries that they had to do something about it.
3469  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Earnings via crypto network, daily - 5$? on: November 14, 2022, 09:33:01 AM
Hello, is there a way for us who are immobile (disabled in legs) to earn 5-10$ a day, with some kind of bitcoin strategy without big investments. If anyone knows, write in the inbox. Thank you for your cooperation, and I wish everyone a lot of success!

Trading with cryptocurrencies is extremely risky, and when you add to that that you have very limited capital, I think that for now you should not go in that direction. This also applies to all other seemingly promising methods that you can find online, but they are mostly scams and a waste of time.

Considering that you have (I assume) a lot of free time, I would recommend you to get involved in the forum a little more seriously, to start with researching the forum and reading what interests you. Maybe you have some skills that you can offer, and with time, as an active member, you can get the opportunity to join a signature campaign, which would help you earn something along with learning and your own contribution to the forum.
3470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The leader of the collapse of the currency circle on: November 14, 2022, 09:14:43 AM
In November 2022, another unforgettable moment, Changpeng Zhao of Binance became the first hero to blow the whistle. FTT thunderstorm, who will be next?

Does it even matter who will be next? Any of the large and mid-sized CEXs that find themselves in serious trouble will cause disruptions in the crypto market. And I don't know why you call CZ a hero? Maybe because he was only apparently trying to save the company that started to sink, but in fact at the same time he was just cutting ties with it so that there would be as little damage as possible for his company.

Apart from that, is there anything serious about someone doing due diligence in 24 hours and saying that he changed his mind because the results are not satisfactory? Such things last for weeks or months and are not carried out in one day, so I would conclude that it is one thing to play the hero, and quite another to be the hero.
3471  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Update on FTX exchange on: November 14, 2022, 08:51:45 AM
How do you expect me to know that others have created this type of topic already? After getting the information on Twitter I quickly rush on here to post this. Sigh!

You can use the forum search option, or just look in the Bitcoin discussion board/Exchanges board or any other board - what do you think if everyone acted exactly the way you do? Don't get me wrong, your intention is good, but considering that we already have dozens of discussions on the same topic, this one was not necessary.
3472  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predictions, predictions, predictions... on: November 13, 2022, 03:15:13 PM
The market seems to be in turmoil and the whole narrative of "Bitcoin is dead" thing is taking place. For me, this is probably one of the best signs to buy. The thing is, I do think that this support is most likely to not hold and we risk seeing a further drop to around 10K which is what I think is a great entry point.

Why not under $10k or maybe closer to $1000? It seems that the pessimism and greed of bitcoiners themselves will do even more damage than various geniuses who played the role of great CEOs, and in the end turned out to be incompetent kids. Many people apparently forget that the low price is not only an encouragement to buy, but also a reason for pessimism and negativity that spreads like a virus in yet another story that Bitcoin is actually just another in a series of internet ponzi schemes.
3473  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 13, 2022, 03:01:52 PM
Huh..! Really missing these days. $46000.

As things stand, you will miss those days for a long time, because so many people have been wanting the price to drop as low as possible for months, and then when it finally happened, they want it even lower - and I personally have nothing against going below $1000, because then everyone will can earn their first BTC only through faucets in case it is too expensive for them to buy it even then.
3474  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Update on FTX exchange on: November 13, 2022, 02:46:13 PM
There are at least 20 threads on this topic all over the forum, and you opened another one in a board that should have nothing to do with the specific case - does that make sense to you?

It's not that no one warns that it's not smart to keep your coins on exchanges, or invest in worthless tokens - why should you or I feel bad that someone makes stupid decisions? Most of these people will repeat the same thing as soon as some new super crypto exchange opens and some new genius starts printing his miracle tokens out of nothing.
3475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bearish fud main account Bitcoin on Twitter on: November 13, 2022, 12:21:55 PM
Twitter is considered a favorite place for investors, all information is regularly and fully updated on it, and as long as you know how to select information, it will be very useful.

What kind of investors are you talking about? Does a serious investor close deals or invest in something through that platform or is it just one of the platforms that has become a haven for scammers and various political agendas that the new leader of that platform seems to support?

As for the account that spreads fake news and leads people astray, it should have been removed a long time ago, but that doesn't seem too important to anyone. People who believe everything they see and read or hear are a much bigger problem - especially those who think that Bitcoin has its own Twitter account and its own bank Roll Eyes
3476  Economy / Economics / Re: Consumers to Spend More on Black Friday Despite Economic Downturn on: November 13, 2022, 11:58:56 AM
I think that these surveys are very dubious and may even be created to influence public change at a time when the authorities just want to encourage ever-greater consumption, and what is more ideal than Black Friday or the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays. However, it does not seem to me that consumption (globally) could exceed the pandemic years when mass shopping was done online, although perhaps the US will be an exception despite inflation and all these layoffs that we have been reading about in recent days.

I personally will not spend a lot of money, and maybe I won't even spend anything if the discounts are not at least 30% or more on some things that I would like to buy. That's why I follow the prices now, because I know that the sellers manipulate the prices, raise them slightly upwards, and then they will offer discounts that will actually be much lower than what they will present to us.
3477  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A quick Newbies Reminder; is Ledger(Hardware wallets) the ultimate solution? on: November 13, 2022, 11:43:05 AM
Using and leaving your assets on exchanges is the same as using a bank; aren't we all in crypto to have complete control over our money? So, what's the point of keeping it on exchanges?

I would not agree that it is exactly the same thing, because in some countries client deposits in banks are insured by the government, so although I don't know if that amount varies from country to country within the EU, but in my country that amount is EUR 100 000. I don't think any crypto exchange has anything similar, and what I know is that they have secured part of the client's funds that are in fiat, but if a big hack happens, the only thing clients can hope for is partial compensation, and that after probably years of waiting.

The reason why there are so many coins on exchanges is that people mistakenly consider them to be crypto banks, but also because of the ease of trading whenever someone wants. CEX encourages this in some way because they have implemented a withdraw/service fee which is not very cheap, especially if someone would withdraw and then deposit their crypto assets every day.

No hardware wallet is the ultimate solution, regardless of who produced it and what its specifications are. The only thing that leads to ultimate security is a properly created cold wallet, everything else is more or less an illusion of partial security.
3478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celsius, Terra, FTX Crash All Are Prove That Bitcoin Is The Only Trusted Crypto on: November 13, 2022, 11:14:57 AM
That doesn't mean I haven't sold any. I sold in 2017 and 2021 but I still have more BTC than I had in 2014 so I consider it a huge win.

I always say that it is wrong to approach Bitcoin only as an investment because it was conceived as a cryptocurrency and that is how we should use it from time to time. Many are surprised and complain that there is not a single place or there are too few in their environment that accepts Bitcoin as a means of payment, and at the same time they do nothing to change it.

Each of us should work to change people's perception of what Bitcoin really is, because if we continue to go in this direction then we will have to face the fact that Bitcoin will become just another in a series of speculative assets.
3479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My First Purchases of Bitcoin on: November 13, 2022, 11:05:40 AM
I don't think so, although I'm not particularly familiar with all the options these days. I don't really use exchanges all that often. Yeah, definitely agree on that, I think the majority would agree on moving them as soon as it's feasible.

I know that some CEXs give certain benefits to those who invest and keep their tokens on exchange, and one of the benefits is a lower withdraw/service fee or a higher percentage of earnings from referrals. To me, it is unethical to say the least and I think it should be forbidden for CEX to create their own tokens and manipulate their clients in that way.

What I'm hoping for is exchanges in the future just drop wallet support, and have a sort of system that just sends you the Bitcoin to your external address you own, as soon as they recieve the funds via fiat. That way, there's no option of storing the Bitcoin on their centralised exchange, which would avoid most problems when things like this happen, at least it would protect a large portion of users from losing their Bitcoin. It can be done, and there have been websites that have done this, they just charged a service fee like normal.
~snip~

That would be something that would definitively change the way CEX works today, but not only do they not want it, it is also a much bigger problem that many investors have a completely wrong idea that CEX is actually some kind of crypto banks. As long as people think in that way, it is unlikely that anything will change, and that in some way corresponds to CEX, who actually have a huge amount of crypto assets under their control and can do whatever they want without the knowledge of their clients. Quadriga is perhaps the best example of such abuse, but also many smaller CEXs that have performed classic exit scams in the last 5-6 years.
3480  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop the panic, I doubt we will see 14k or less Bitcoin on: November 12, 2022, 04:36:47 PM
Personally, I like FUD. Squeezes out all the would-be Bitcoiners, the speculators who don't own a single satoshi, the crypto bad actors. Clears the way for Bitcoin to march on.

Personally, I have already become indifferent because I know that I can't change anything because people behave like a herd that is very easy to convince of any stupidity or steer in any direction. The only thing I would like to see is that the characters behind everything (Kwon, Bankman) end up in prison and banned from the Internet for life - but as someone once said "donkeys will get wings before that happens".
