I doubt it will happen. It is already a bonus if bitcoin reaches 10K. 1M is overreaching. There is so much problem with bitcoin right now, and even if these problems are solved, 1M is just too high of a price for bitcoin.

This kind of post will continue to pop up as long as scaling problems continues. Newbies who are not well versed in adopting fees for faster confirmation will get tired of using bitcoin. The same will happen to regular users who get tired of bloating fees every time spam attacks happen. The only ones enjoying this are the miners.

Unfortunately we cannot run to altcoin to solve this problem especially altcoins that is based on bitcoin because it will run to same problem in the future. And miners are not too keen to having a consensus because they benefit on the fees gained on high confirmation time.

The transaction fee is still the same, people are calling it as high fee because what can you expect with the price increase? I know in the future everything will be fixed and people will not complain about it. That's why if bitcoin will ever be advertised it will be effective just like what is being market online.
Nope, the fee is bloated. In the past years, you can still send tx with fees below 100 sats per byte and confirm in few minutes. But now, you are lucky if your 200 sat per byte tx fee gets confirmed within a few hours. You cannot compare fees in dollar, because fees are not computed on fiat value but the size of the tx. |

Its has design flawed agreed. But what concerns me is the impending solution. This is still ongoing and both sides doesn't want to give up. The issue has been dragging us of the longest time now and I don't think any one of the solution will be implemented in the future. So many bitcoin users are complaining to the point that they are going to alt coins now and will only go back once the solution is implemented.
Miners have not come to a consensus yet. And I have a feeling they are delaying this so that they can enjoy the high fees that come with long confirmation time. Only the miners will benefit in the solution being delayed. |

Man in my own analysis of what happened to Kawhi Leonard I really think Zaza Pachulia intentionally injured Kawhi. Repeated the video a dozen times and I always came up to a conclusion that the extra step of Zaza Pachulia is not even necessary, he didn't even jump to be out of balance in that move, for it was a dirty play that made it look unintentional in the video playback. Now if Kawhi did not come back the game would be one sided in all of the series.
It could be because the warriors are very frustrated when they were down with big points but that is normal in the game, there are a lot of dirty players out there and Draymond was one of them. Kawhi is the best player of the team, we need his clutch plays to beat this overrated warriors. This game would not be fun to watch without Kawhi, unless they will win game 2 like what they did winning in Houston even without him. It will be hard to beat gsw without kawhi on the floor. Gsw is very strong offensively. But if coach pop can devise a play that can limit the scoring power of gsw with his remaining players, they may still make it. They still have strong defensive players left. |

It will be the same as before, etf will be rejected. And after so many times, I do not think etf acceptance or rejection will still have an effect on bitcoin. There is so many factors now that can affect the price positively. If etf got rejected again, it will not pull the price down.

It is not impossible to be reached but not this year. Then there is the problem of scaling that can hinder very much bitcoin's progress. If we reach that and scaling issue is not resolved, there will be too many complains about fees and confirmation time again.

Indeed, this is not the Bitcoin you had seen, now it's price has increased 800% since the last time you used it (May 2015), and instead of this it's the slow confirmation times that shocked you, this is strange at least. Maybe he have expected that bitcoin have adopted to the amount of users coming in and the transactions that would bring. But instead, bitcoin has remained stagnant and failed to scale thus high transaction fee and confirmation time. Giving higher fee for faster confirmation is not a solution. It will just make the fee bloat indefinitely as more people want their tx to be first in line. But we cannot make the miners choose the right solution right away because they are still enjoying the high fees they are getting. |

If you only have a single input, the fee will be very small in proportion to the amount you are sending. Fees are computed by bytes or inputs in your transaction. So even if the fiat amount is small, if there are a lot of input, the fee will be large. |

We do not need any more advertisement. Bitcoin is already being mentioned in some tv series, that is enough to stir curiosity in some people. And unless someone will foot the billing on tv ads, it will be hard to push. What we need now is solutions to high fees and confirmation time so that new users will not be discouraged to use bitcoin.
