Ive had a lot of bets on Tennis over the last couple of days and had 0.01mbtc free
to play with, I put that on Raducanu to win. I wasnt fully convinced she would
be capable, so it was a token amount, Luckily I didnt have more to play with as
she lost 6-2, 6-4 with a very lack lustre performance.

Next up is Fernandez in a couple of minutes, I have a bigger wager on her to win.

I'm kind of glad for Raducanu that she lost here. Of course being British I wanted her to win, and I want her to win all of her matches. But she is young and inexperienced, and the thing is after the US Open there is now an expectation on her that she will win and win and win, and be unstoppable. Of course that is unrealistic, and she has to lose sometime. I think it will be good for her in the long run that she lost in her first match here, it helps to dampen the unreasonable expectation somewhat, and it will be a good lesson for her to learn. I'm sure the reason she lost was the mental side rather than the physical, and she will be back to winning matches soon enough... but she is too young to win every time. Same probably goes for Fernandez, although to a slightly lesser extent.

Oh well, lots of pressure on her now, and everyone expects her to have an easy win against Sasnovich but she was not in the zone in this game. Too much expectations, hope she can learn from this experience of losing and exiting the first match in Indian Wells.

On the other hand, L. Fernandez survived, another kid wherein all eyes are watching. Hopefully, it will be Fernandez this time. I wanted here to win another big tournament.
3462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: October 09, 2021, 12:38:41 AM
^^ I just wondering what if Casimero and his team turn down the fight because they won't get any? I mean they will have to shoulder the bills travelling to England if the fight are going to be held there and then he needs to pay his trainer and every one around him helping to prepare the fight.

At least it will be -30% more on the purse his gonna get? Unless I'm wrong here?

And then again we have the benefit of the doubt since a new promoter will be handling this fight as we all know, the Triller debacle on the Lopez vs Kambosos fight?

If Casimero refuses then he will be strip on the belt because this is mandatory defense.

Then it will be Butler vs #2 of the WBO rankings to fight for the title.

So he doesn't have any options here but to follow the mandate and then simply beat Butler and then call out Inoue or Donaire for unification, and there could be a lot of money in the table that time.

That purse bid is ridiculous, I mean Casimero after all this time must deserve more money than that amount speculated in the bid. This whole thing is design for Casimero to give up that belt I think  Smiley but I don't think he would do that as he is used to receiving small purses before. The only thing he could do now is dispose of this Butler and hope for a shot against Inoue which is like winning a lottery if he could secure that.

Nah, I don't think it was intentional for WBO to setup their bantamweight champion and give up the belt. Maybe they were caught by surprised that Casimero coming into the picture demolished their champion an then defend it.

That's right, he need to dispose Butler with KO, and with that, Inoue can't run from him anymore. And for sure, he might get 10x of what he will get in the Butler fight.
3463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Battle of supremacy between Dogecoin and Shiba Inu on: October 08, 2021, 11:54:56 PM
As the OP said, this is just a meme coins, so it's very risky to invest, specially huge money on this kind of projects. And it's obvious that it is being used by one crypto influencer in Elon Musk, and who knows he could be a bag holder of this two coins. So obviously, he needs to pump it so hard and people are blindly trusting this guy. Hopefully for those who join the bandwagon, if you have made profits already, then I think it will be good. No need to be greedy or what and the price might go down very hard, IMHO.
3464  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: US Department of Treasury takes action against Russian Exchange on: October 08, 2021, 03:16:00 PM
Flexing their muscles to who?

Perhaps they just want to send a message again that they shouldn't be messed with.

They can't just go to Russian and bring it down, it's very different. So I guess this sanction won't be that effective and I'm sure that the Suex exchange will just continue to run it's business and probably laughing at US DoT regarding the issuance of this sanctions. And as you have said, Russian government will not even lift a finger here regarding the attempt of the US.

I know that, heck this exchanges can just rebrand themselves and then be used by criminals again. Maybe the point of the US is that the government of Russia should at least look at how this fly by night exchanges have been used and abused within their jurisdiction and outside.

But still doesn't make sense though, they don't have jurisdiction to this Russian exchanges.

And how many times that US takes action not just in crypto but in general and send notices to country that they have suspected harboring a criminal?

Maybe they think that Suex will be affected by this, but for sure their business model will continue as they are raking big money.

3466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: October 08, 2021, 09:59:36 AM
Anyone will be angry if someone insults him, what else is insulted is: his biological 'mother', well, well, look at this one: Don't talk about my mum! Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez explains how Caleb Plant's family slur led to their on-stage punch-up... warning the American 'you don't want to fight me now'

I think the boxing this time is between Canelo vs. Caleb will be fatal, I think this is no longer boxing to win the championship, but a burning revenge boxing.

The schedule has been set, the tickets have been distributed, inevitably boxing must be carried out, I think this is a big problem between Canelo vs. Caleb, I myself don't like to see Caleb's attitude that has a gay mouth, unprofessional.

Who knows what happened out there for sure? All of this may be scripted, just to get some cheap attention. Perhaps the organizers wanted to fire up the supporters of Canelo, since the ticket sales and PPV buys were low. And it will not be too surprising if the sale figures are low. The maximum interest will be there only if both the sides are of equal strength. Naturally the interest won't be there if one side is expected to dominate the match. That's why there was massive interest in 2017 and 2018, when Canelo fought against Golovkin.

I guess that's just Caleb's strategy to gain more attention. Other boxers are doing the same thing and it's something that we have to ignore. Canelo has an edge here since he has more supporters because of his good record through the years. I just hope that Caleb could also prove everything that he's boasting about.

We will know that inside the ring, of all of the recent opponents of Canelo, it seems that Caleb is the most loud about it as far as trash talking is concern. Very vocal in attacking Canelo in public and even in their face off. But it's different when they are inside, either he can really has the power to knock out Canelo (which majority of us doubt), or he will just be an ordinary fighter there because Canelo's talent is too much for him.
3467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 08, 2021, 08:49:15 AM
^^ Nice win mate, yeah, usually a 3 match parlay could be disastrous, specially if just one match could really derail the results.

I haven't watch or bet on the ladies match, but yes, I've reach that Fernandez and Gauff are partner in doubles. We will see what happen, those two young kids maybe are just having a good time and not yet focusing on singles match. But for sure, they will, specially they have tasted big tournaments already and they wanted to at least won some.

Just check the ticket sales and it looks like there are still some available. Maybe because we still have a month to go, but for sure the press con scuffle really put more hype on the fight, and then every Canelo training video, he always tells us how Caleb is going to pay for disrespecting his mother.

So we don't know if this is scripted or not, because if yes, then Caleb get a mark on his fight. Hopefully  even if the tickets are not sold out, we will see great fight between the two.
3469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin dump, Ethereum pump! on: October 07, 2021, 02:36:59 AM
This is weird..  I’ve been whining that BTC is dragging everything down with it when it goes down.  Now it seems it’s going up fast and it’s leaving everything else behind.  Cheesy  Can’t really complain but I feel like it’s one of those things with the market when it goes BTC up, alts flat - BTC down, alts down more.  I think the last leg of this bull market is all BTC.  What do you guys think?

The $28,000-$29,000 and then the last lows $42,000 could be the last leg up to the supposedly or most anticipate $100,000++ this December. But we still have a lot of room to wiggle to reach this price and it will not be small sailing. There could be traps along the way, specially if we breach and push for another all time high this year. Maybe at $70,000 we will see some resistance, but we all know that if BTC goes up, it's hard to stop, not FUD not negative news could deterred investor and speculators to pour their money as they are hoping for a good ride to 6 digits this 2021.
3470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - October 5 on: October 07, 2021, 01:56:12 AM
The IBF has made their ruling and declared Triller in default. Matchroom, who had the second highest bid, has confirmed they will be promoting this fight.

Nice to hear that and we are glad that it was over. So Triller losses that 20% escrowed when they secured the fight.

At least finally with Matchroom on board, this fight can easily be made without any postponement and for sure Lopez and Kambosos are happy that the fight will proceed.

Let's wait for the official date from Matchroom, hopefully it can still be salvage for this year.
3471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 07, 2021, 01:00:34 AM
That is the thing what i dont like about a women tennis is that the best players keep changing every month.Only Barty is holding currently the first place, but in matter of tournaments we keep seeing new winners and newcomers. No body expect that Raducanu to even come to the third round let alone win the US Open and on next tournament we will probobly have a new tennis player win the tournament or someone that isnt at all in the top 10.
Ash Barty has had a varied game play this year pulling out of one tournament to then go on to win at Wimbledon and has again pulled out just in the last week.

I saw an interview with Barty after Wimbledon on an Australian network and she spoke of coming home in October or November as she would have at that time been on the playing circuit for seven or wight months.  Perhaps she's just tired of traveling in the Covid Era?

That could be the case actually. Barty hasn't played recently and players like Raducanu popped off. We even heard the news that the 2nd ranked player Sabalenka won't be playing the next tournament. Don't know what the case is, because a few years back it was only Serena and Maria Sharapova everywhere. It's also a good sign that new players are stepping up, but also a matter of fact that some players (not many though) get lost over time.

Raducanu only popped off in this tournament. Maybe she got lucky or played the best she will ever do. We will see in the next tournaments that she plays if she can win the next tournament or reach even the final. Well its a good sign that new players are popping up but this is currently all over the place.

I agree, we really need to wait for Raducanu if she really has what it takes to be the new face of women's tennis. As Osaka lost the hype already, and many ladies getting injured, Raducanu and Fernandez suddenly pops up.

We would like to see them going against those top seeded to really gauge their performance and could overtake and goes up in the rankings. Indian Wells will be a good test although there are a lot who has pull out as well.
3472  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC hit 70k$ this Christmas? on: October 07, 2021, 12:29:47 AM
As others have said, $70,000 might be a disappointment for the majority because we are all hype about that much anticipated 6 digits this December. And it's really looks good, I mean currently we have seen a super fast rally in the last 7 days, from as low as $42,000 last month now we have breached so many mental barriers. So next stop for us would be $60,000-$70,000 and it's possible to be hit this month or early November. So there's a lot of room for us to touch base $100,000 at the end of the year.
3473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: October 06, 2021, 02:02:31 PM
@Kemarit. I understand the hype behind Inoue versus Casimero by the Filipino fans. They give support to their countryman. However, what I do not understand is why remain hyping for this after Casimero’s performance versus Rigondeaux? In any case, it will be Butler for Casimero and Reymart for Donaire. Who will be for Inoue?

LOL, it takes two to tango as they say, if Rigo doesn't want to have a toe to toe fight, then what can Casimero do? He chases him in full 12 rounds, so I don't think it was a bad fight for him.

That's why the hype is still there for Casimero to go after Inoue, the one he trash talks after the Nonito Donaire fight fizzled out. As far as I can remember, Inoue's mandatory is Michael Dasmarinas whom he knock out.
3474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 06, 2021, 03:29:52 AM
Even though tennis is one of my favorite sports to bet I got a reminder how unfulfilling it can get today. So I played a ticket with 4 matches. First it started by Zapata forfeiting, then there was rain break and then Andreev forfeited as well. Ok those two came handy since my choices were doing badly. Then Griekspoor also won with forfeit which left my ticket on one live match. At least that one managed to barely scrape onto over so I got little something for my trouble Smiley

Same here bud, I went on a traditional based casino's, lost my capital very quick, damn what a I day. So just looking at the Indian Wells, and thinking, what the heck, bad day? let me try my luck on my favorite sports to at least get back some,

At least recoup some of my early losses on that casinos. Probably stay home and just bet online.  Grin
3475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: October 06, 2021, 02:09:15 AM
Terence Crawford will defend is title and he is the best fighter by far whom Shawn Porter will be facing this November, a must watch fight next month.

I think the odds on this fight will be on Terence Crawford with a record of 37-0 (28 KO) compared to Shawn Porter 31-3-1 (17 KO).
Still I expect a good toe-to-toe fight between them because even Crawford have more experience, still Porter have the strength and grit that can withstand Crawford. I bet this match will be a split decision and not via KO.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/32207808/sources-terence-crawford-shawn-porter-strike-deal-nov-20-welterweight-title-bout%3fplatform=amp
This can be an anyone win, to be honest that's my take on this fight, their matches are almost close with Crawford having the advantage of being undefeated and could imply that he does know the way to win against any match up but we might see Porter see this as an inspiration to be the first defeat of Crawford.

It's really going to be close, I don't see Crawford having more experience. And on the contrary, Porter should have the advantage, he has fought prime welterweights and won against them. And Crawford? his resume is good, but he hasn't fight anyone close to Porter's style. The guy's workrate and chin is unbelievable. But I agree, whoever wins this fight could be in the judges hand and knock out chance is very slim as both have good and tough chin.
3476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: October 04, 2021, 02:03:41 AM
Exactly, it works both ways for the champion and the challenger. The challenger are going to be happy that he is given the chance to fight the champion in their organisation.

Just look at the Joshua vs Usyk for example, Usyk is the mandatory, so Joshua gave him the fight, so look what happen. We now have a new champion as Usyk upsets Joshua. So it change the landscape of the heavyweights and it makes it more exciting to see a new champion.
exactly! I guess there are people(probably a lot of them here in the forum and outside) who are not exactly familiar with the mandatory fights in boxing. there are reasons why each organization has its own mandatory fight rule.

Yeah, and usually though fighters in a certain organization are given the first crack on their champion, that's why there are rankings inside their organization that might differ in others.

So in this scenario:

Champion: Casimero;

WBO rankings:

1. Paul Butler
2. Joseph Agbeko
3. Nikolai Potapov
4. Rau'shee Warren
5. Jason Moloney

So the first crack will be Paul Butler in this case. So there's nothing suspicious about Casimero vs Butler. Maybe we are just hype on Casimero vs Inoue or Casimero vs Donaire. But being the WBO champion and been ordered to fight the mandatory first.
3477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 04, 2021, 01:12:35 AM
@aoluain - Yeah, it was a big win by Sinner, at least we still see him win another tournament as he is slowly building up his confidence and experience. No doubt that he will win against Monfils in the finals, the kid is definitely improving a lot.

In the San Diego Open, Ruud winner in two sets, he just destroys Norrie, 6-2, 6-0, cover the handicap and even the under if you think that Ruud will win in two sets. Still good to see Norrie played very well in this tournament except the finals, maybe he was too drain in the Rublev match.
3478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - October 5 on: October 04, 2021, 12:41:56 AM
^^ And with that decision by Triller, they've lost a lot of money already. If there's no main card in October 16, then fans for sure are not going to buy tickets because everyone wanted to see Lopez fight again after he won against Loma.

And I don't think that they have the case to ask a boxing body to remove a mandatory fighter on their list. Yeah, it might be a respond to Kambosos, but it doesn't make sense at all.

First, just want to give a link about this news - https://www.worldboxingnews.net/2021/10/03/teofimo-lopez-george-kambosos-pulled/.

Reading this article, you can feel there's so much drama after so many delays and now this fight being cancelled.
Bookies are right not to list this match because this fight has all the uncertainty you can get.
Maybe, it is time to stop anticipating this fight to happen. There's too much politics involved among promoters here.

I think it's not about promoters or managers of Lopez and Kambosos, but Triller itself really fucking up this great fight for us.

They won the bid against Matchroom and Top Rank, and they supposed to deliver the fight. They it was cancelled because of Lopez contacting the Covid-19 virus, that's fine. Then the venue place, from supposedly to Australia to US, good. But then when everything looks settle down they have a venue, although it change as well still OK. But then they want to cancel the dates because they didn't anticipate that they will have the same schedule as Monday Night Football, that's bullshit. Matchroom and Bob Arum's Top Rank are laughing at Triller right now. And we fans are being robbed, as this is an anticipated return fight of Lopez and he is facing a good challenger as well in Kambosos.
3479  Economy / Speculation / Re: The calm before the storm? on: October 03, 2021, 05:07:17 AM
The price move slowly therefore it seems what will happen next is it grow or is it down, this confusion every person's mind who invest in the cryptocurrency market .I think it's time to move your Bitcoin right now, if you've used a non-SegWit wallet, it's better to move them now into the Segwit wallet address which you can set into a lower fee and have full control over your Bitcoin.
It's checked and it was around 5 sats for the minimum fee and now, 1 sats?  This is the first time it is seen the minimum fees into the network is 1sat. It means the Bitcoin network isn't congested, good to see if the transaction .

You spoke too early mate, the price seems to be moving on a uptick, prices now approaching the big resistance level of $48,000 again. I don't understand what you mean moving it, maybe you are referring to some wallets that you don't have control. First lesson is that you have to store your precious Bitcoin in a wallet that you have the private keys like Electrum.

Network though is up, fees has increased obviously because of the current surge, nevertheless it is still cheap, IMHO. So let's see how far this bull run will go, hopefully we can get back above $50,000 or even topple the last high we have last month which is $52,000. It's just the 3rd day of the month and a lot of things can happen.
3480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: October 03, 2021, 02:46:49 AM
^ We have the same choice, I think or it will be sure that Gaballo here will definitely be an underdog in this match.
I think it should be Donaire that should be the underdog in this match. Despite that he's popular and also well known, Gaballo's record is good with zero losses.
And even Donaire has a lot of fights already, he has 6 losses. This is just my opinion about this match if looking at their professional records, only 4 fights out of 24 fights of Gaballo were not knockout. That's a good percentage for his entire career.

But Donaire has a huge win in his last fight against Ouballi and that alone is enough for crypto bookies to put him as the big favorite in his fight. And obviously he is still the A-side here, regardless if he has 6 losses or not.

Gaballo on the other hand, is not well recognized, even for Filipino boxing fans. And he has a so-so performance against Rodriguez in his last fight, won by a split decision and there are debate that the decision should be the other way around.
