3461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Double Unification Fights: Shields vs Marshall / Mayer vs Baumgardner on: October 15, 2022, 08:56:49 PM
The super featherweight is already ongoing between Mikaela Mayer vs Alycia Baumgardner.

I have Baumgardner leading 3 rounds to 1. Baumgardner getting the first 3 but then Mayer coming huge in round 4 so I gave her that round.

Let's see how it goes, the fight is getting intense now for this two.

Edit: I have Baumgardner winning 96-94.

Edit 2: Baumgardner by split decision, scores were 97-93 for Mayer, 96-95 for Baumgardner, and 96-95 for Baumgardner.

Edit 3:

Claressa Shields vs Savannah Marshall

So far I have Shields up 4-0 in my unofficial scorecard.

Edit 4: I have Shields winning 96-94.

Official scorecard: 96-94, 97-93 and 97-93 for Shields, unanimous decision.
3462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October 29 on: October 15, 2022, 08:41:53 PM
..... it's his comeback fight, he understands that he needs to make a noise for him to have a big fight next.

Definitely he will do that, but it seemed like it's just a cherry-picked fight for him since obviously as we can see on the betting odds, Lomachenko is heavily favored.

source : Loma vs Ortiz odds

More betting options will be available soon I believe, but getting 1.06 only of your bet, does not look attractive, so there's no choice but to wait for a little time.

Yes, as per that odds, it doesn't really attractive for us bettors, but as least we have a gauge on what the odds for the ML is. And so we will have to be patience and wait till other betting odds are going to be listed by our favorite sports books.

I would also tend to agree that this is a cherry pick, although in paper, Ortiz is a live dog with 0 losses. But Loma will be to much for the young fighter. But in the end it will be a great experience for Ortiz to have a fight with one of the best technical and complete boxer we have right now.
3463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 15, 2022, 08:26:56 PM
As for the betting discussion, Inoue by a decision is not that likely and I expect this will be a KO but the challenge is to know what range it will happen.
Maybe, however, if you want your KO bet to be exciting, you need to guess correctly which rounds Inoue will KO Butler. Usually the formats are rounds 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12.. You will only choose one for better odds, that's still 25% chance only if it will be a KO win by Inoue indeed.

Well, it's kinda hard to put a bet on the first three rounds because I know Butler won't be facing Inoue on a toe-to-toe match here because he'd probably end the fight within the 1st or 2nd round. Strongest option for me is the second one, that might be the time where Butler is already cornered. How about you, what do you think?

Possible mate, that is the hardest part though of this kind of 'round range' bet because it's going to be very difficult to predict. And just like in the Inoue fight, we didn't see that Inoue is going to knockout him out in just 2 rounds.

But if you think that Butler is not going to go toe to toe early because he is afraid that he might get knock out then yeah, 4-6 might be a good option to put your money in.
3464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 15, 2022, 03:41:39 PM
Just like what happened with DeMarcus Cousins. Injuries after injury made him less valuable and even today he is having a hard time finding a team.

One of the worst things that happened in a player's history regarding the possibility of getting a good contract.

That year, I remember that he was already expecting a max contract in the off-season not just with the New Orleans Pelicans but on other teams as well. Unfortunately, the injury came and from there, he didn't have a chance now to taste a very good contract until his value depreciate up to this point.

I hope the Denver Nuggets can give him another shot even for 1-year basis.

As long as he remained healthy, he can still be a good asset coming off the bench.

He can be a great addition to the team, and that is proven because we've seen him already in the past playoffs his contribution was really valuable. I can't discount his will to contribute to the team, if only the coaching staff will give him enough playing time, he can give more help the team to win.
Fingers crossed my brothers. He proved himself well at that run with the Denver Nuggets, especially at the time when he was given more than 20 minutes of playtime.
Even until now, I am confused with why he is not signed yet. He trimmed his body weight, he can shoot threes from Warriors to Nuggets.
All he need is a contract.
I bet he is willing to take even a veterans contact just to show his skills again and how he is getting better after every season.

I have a speculation that maybe because of his attitude, team are not willing to give him at least 1 year to proved his worth in the NBA. But damn, during his prime, DeMarcus Cousins was beast and he was really huge that it's hard to stop him because of him being versatile, inside and out. And we thought that he can achieved success with the Warriors as well, but it was too bad that after he joined, some members too, got injured.

And to add to that, maybe teams are really looking for someone that is not fragile, and at the point of Cousins career, he might get injured again and it will be over for him. Players like Carmelo and to some extend Howard was able to get a contract like year could be because of Lebron. But they have seen the getting a old and wash up player is a bad idea and it may have set a precedence for other veterans not to be sign up this season, including Cousins even though he show signs that he can still play, in my opinion.
3465  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: October 15, 2022, 03:05:28 PM

3466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: October 14, 2022, 11:51:53 PM
On the one hand, I agree that these are Canelo's problems, since he needs a revenge to restore his reputation. But we must also not forget that if Bivol loses weight, then this will not give Canelo any advantage - on the contrary, Bivol will gain an advantage. Most athletes use methods to cut weight to the desired numbers through various procedures, as a result of which weight is lost due to dehydration and fat burning. Muscles remain in place. Thus, when fighting in a lower weight class, Bivol will be just as strong and perhaps even a little faster. Therefore, I think that Canelo will try to gain weight himself in order to fight in the Bivol weight category.

Each body is different, everyone has different metabolism, but in most cases, muscles burn faster and first, than fat. That is why sitting on a diet wont make fat women fit Cheesy

We do not know what is really written in that rematch clause, but Bivol only needs that if he only needs money. He has already beaten Canelo. It is Canelos obligatory to fight in 175, because Bivol did not aim to fight in super middleweight in first place. And I think that Bivol is not really interested in having that rematch. Instead, it will be more interesting for him to face Beterbiev or to go to cruiserweight, then make a step back and fight in 168.

In professional sports, things work differently (although even in the case of women, I'm not sure that your judgment is correct). Professional athletes lose weight not really, but formally - they lose weight before weighing in order to regain a significant part of it in the remaining day before the fight. That is why any diuretics are prohibited along with other types of doping.

That is called weight classes in boxing, so that no boxers are into an advantage or disadvantage as they are going to fight in a weight. So they really have to lose weight prior to the fight itself, and then the the boxing organizations, weigh in in accordance. But then again they can rehydrate to as big as 10 lbs or more after that weigh in. However, there are certain clauses inserted in contract that a boxer can only rehydrate this big as not to have any advantage to his opponents. And I agree that diuretics is prohibited because they want the boxers to lose that extra lbs legally by diet.

Regarding your reasoning about the interests of Bivol and Canelo, I agree, and it seems to me that Canelo will not seek revenge - he has already been humiliated once, there is no reason to believe that this will not happen again.

He is too proud to lose the fight against Bivol. And we didn't expect that Bivol can do that against the best version of Bivol. But I guess Canelo's mistake is facing a prime light heavyweight, unlike before when he faces Kovalev, who is ageing champion at 175. But Canelo admit that he had difficulty in that fight.

3468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why speculate when you can be at peace with Bitcoin on: October 14, 2022, 11:19:21 PM
One of the things I hate most is speculations and I try as much as possible to avoid an entry that will make me speculate on the price of Bitcoin, so at that, I try as much as possible to have an entry price that will make me look away from the market for a long time and just be at peace holding my bitcoin in my wallet.
Knowing fully well that with Bitcoin I have the best alternative currency to spend at any time without any third-party involvement like the bank.

Yes, we don't want to complicate things isn't it? But there are traders or speculators who want's to play in this game though, because for them this is like a game and if you are very competitive you are going to be up to the challenge study the volatility as per TA and then make your own speculations as to where the price will move, anticipate and then make money.  And so that is the most important for them, the end result, profits.
Speculations bring not only a challenge for us but also a good motivation for us to hope and expect more especially if we are having positive speculations in the market. However, this is not also advisable all the time as you may not sustain your crypto earnings if you just rely on speculations, yes it’s a game that others would love to be involved but it’s way more safer if you stick to what is reality and not just simply speculations.

Yes, that is the keyword, challenge, so for us, to be challenge and willing to accept it? that is already a motivation for some. And for the sustainability, well, let's get back to 2017's bull run wherein I saw a lot of members turning into full 100% trader left their job. Unfortunately bear market happens, and not it is just repeating itself. What we need to be is just be smart and intelligent, nothing is sustainable to say that least in this market. It's either to make a lot of money in the bull run, but for majority if might not be enough, so we will have to grind hard again from one cycle to another.
3469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 14, 2022, 11:08:49 PM
I was not able to watch the game but it was really upsetting and very unlikely of Ginebra. Are we being played by these teams? Are they also betting on online casinos, and they choose to win big than win on the game. This is just a theory but this happened in MPBL, hopefully it's not happening here in PBA.

Haha, I think that just an upset win by Phoenix and a bad night for the Ginebra Kings, things like this always happened in the PBA in the early part of the tournament, and just like I said in my post months ago that betting for the underdogs this early in the elimination is a little bit profitable  Smiley.

I wasn't able to watch the game as well and obviously, stunned to see the result. But if I bet on that game I will go with Ginebra and probably losing some sats right now. So congrats to those who bet on the underdog, for sure a good win and very profitable.

Also heard about these rigged games in the MPBL which is why I don't bet on that league, doing dirty things in the MPBL might be possible as the players are not so popular that they are not afraid if caught unlike in the PBA that players are popular and earnings much more so being accused of rigging games might damage their reputations and earning potentials.

True, I have nothing against MPBL, but it seems there are noises about rigging the games. It could be for their benefit or someone in the team is deliberately taking a dive. Anyhow, not betting on this league as well.
3470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: October 14, 2022, 10:54:31 PM
I share the same view, this fight won't happen this year just like what they first forecasted it because in the first place, if they want to make the fight happen then both camps should've done the right thing and wouldn't make the discussion so long. Maybe it's time for Crawford to face another boxer while their discussion between Spence's camp is blurry.

Crawford might be the first one to fight in super welter because I heard Spence have his mandatory fight if this won't happen.
I read some articles about this and it's interesting to see some ex-boxers talking about it like Bradley said a while ago who said the same thing because they won't be fighting this year.
And I think this is quite reasonable because even though there will definitely be some hype about this that will be raised but when you see that it is now at the end of 2022 then indeed the opportunity to fight for this year is a little difficult and maybe next year it can still happen if one of the camps does not avoid it. again Grin

Bradley though has turned into a boxing analyst for some networks, so obviously he will have to talk about this fight specially that he has campaign in this division. About the hype? yes, obviously it is there even we know that the fight is not going to happen at least for this year.

Actually about this fight my expectations were too high and I had too much hope so that it was destroyed and I personally feel disappointed, but indeed this happened because of my expectations so that when they decided not to fight it was difficult for me to force.

Of course, as boxing fans, our expectations are going to be high for this fight to happen, both are champion and again, prime vs prime. Unfortunately, both sides are not agreeing in some terms that's why at least for this year, the November fight is cancelled.
3471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 14, 2022, 10:33:22 PM
And for the Helenius fight, Wilder came in a bit lighter as compare to his second fight with Fury,  214½ lbs, 23½ lbs lighter than what he weighed when Fury knock him. But this is what 'naturally' he weight during his career in the heavyweight.

And so it seems that we will be back to his usual weight and expect he will move lightly but still possesses that heavy handed hand to score a knock out win against Helenius.
3472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 14, 2022, 10:16:25 PM
This time it's against Paul Butler, it's no use thinking that he will win because that won't happen even if Inoue is feeling bad or ill in the day of their fight. I know Inoue is not that kind of boxer who underestimates his foe but it's too clear that Butler won't stand a chance especially if we are talking about withstanding punches, he can't survive that.

The level of confidence from the fans of Inoue is very high, well, we cannot blame the fans because Butler won't be a champion if Casimero was not stripped with his belt, so now, he is getting all the kind of underestimation, and hopefully he will see that as a challenge and will try to prove that we are wrong.

I share the same sentiment because I believe it would be Casimero fighting for the undisputed title if he didn't fail to meet the required weight and all those scandal that he was in that is why he was stripped by his belt. In terms of power, my money is for Casimero if he were to fight Butler, no doubt. That is why I strongly believe that Butler cannot prove us wrong because his skills are just too unfortunate if we will compare with Inoue as he can't really keep up with Inoue's power.

Oh well, as much as we wanted to see Casimero vs Inoue as the next best fight if not the best fight in this division, it won't be happening. We've seen how Casimero issues really caught up with him and so the fight is off already and it will be Butler chance to crack the puzzle of Inoue. But we all doubt it, chances are slim. But if it is Casimero then maybe the odds are not going to be like that. maybe Casimero will be an underdog like 4x-6x as compare to Butler's 12x. But then again, we can't say that Casimero vs Inoue will not face each other in the future. Maybe we have hopes that in the next division, they will have to fight for the belt, so the wait will continue for us boxing fans.

That might be the next possible scenario that they will face in the super-bantamweight and be each other's foe in their debut. Although there are some doubts on Casimero because his strength and speed might not be the same while Inoue, no doubt, he will possibly maintain his skillset. Hopefully they will so that we can see it.

Yeah, but I think it might do good for Casimero to move up and I think he can still retain his power in the next division. The thing is that they might be facing a natural featherweight, so it's not just Casimero but Inoue will also need to adjust as well.

And so with that, chances are they can still face each other in the ring and who knows, it could be for the championship belt.
3473  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bull Market, Is it going to come soon or Will People have to Wait More.. on: October 14, 2022, 08:20:17 PM
I'd say with for the bitcoin halving first. And regardless if there is still the war in the background or we are in the recession, the halving will be the catalyst for the next bull run and then the eventual all time high.

So patience will be the key here, because as we all know, halving is still very far - 2024.

The market next year might be as worst as this year, and chances are we might see another lows that will really send panic and maybe see a lower low for this bear market. But rest assured that we can get over with that the following 2024.

Good to see that the Haney's are giving credit to the Victorian government to have this fight stage again in Australia.

And I would agree that Kambosos is quiet now, hehehe. I think he is just giving respect to Haney. Or he knows that his mind games is not going to work on him so he would rather do the opposite and not to trash talk him that much and just focus to redeem his name.

And for those sneaker heads out there, Haney is wearing TS reverse mocha, he knows the game. hehehe

Haney is better thankful and does not criticize the Australian government if he doesn't want it to pay the ring officials. Cheesy

George is better off not talking a lot of shit because he fucked up in that first fight. Talking again and losing badly again would only generate hate from his local fans who traveled for hours just to watch his fights and he already failed the first one by not letting his hands go.

There was noise though in the press conference. Haney's dad presented an Art Of War book as a gift but George just threw it away. Cheesy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4-4RaZLoQY

Seriously though I think George has a real chance of winning or at least make it close. But he really needs to let his hands go. His team kept telling him in the first fight to let his hands go and not just 1-2 but 3 to 5 combinations like what they trained to do.

I think basketball is the most popular sport for black Americans or it could be American football but most of them play basketball.

Lol, that's pysche war already, we all know what that book is all about hehehe.

Yes, I do agree, he didn't let his hands go in the first fight, however, it was due to Haney length and reach advantage that Kambosos has difficulty. And Haney's defense is truly amazing, good reflexes, duck when George is trying to be aggressive and then throw combinations in return. Might be close in the second fight, but in the end Haney will retain his belt.

Yes, the trash talking though, I don't know, but if we see those ladies trash talking like that, it seems to be very different. You can sense the animosity between these women. They really don't like each other and it make this fight a must watch for us boxing fans.

For sure, I also wanted to see a vicious knock out in this 2 fights.
3476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 14, 2022, 06:44:16 PM
Agree with that, it seemed like the consequence is very light, it was a clear violence, he should be suspended at a very least. Well, that's how NBA works,  the system is not fair as it favors more to players whom they think is very valuable to a team.
It is. I thought they are clear about how strict they are with the rules, but it seems like they are short on this one case about Draymond Green.
Anyway, he will be back in the roster, and it was said in reports that him and Poole already talked. I wish there won't be another incident like this and Green have learned his lesson. There will be eyes everywhere and he should be careful about his sudden uncontrollable anger.

The Warriors can't afford to suspend Green especially now that there's not much time in his contract as they are not that sure if they will really give him his demands, we cannot deny that Green is one of the vital players of their roster and plays a huge part in their center's defense so it's somehow expected that they will just give him a light punishment because of that reason. But that said, they are also neglecting Poole's situation, they have already talked but I think Poole is not forgiving him because of that especially his family.

If there's no sincere forgiveness for each other, then that will create a chemistry problem. Warriors are great and one of the reasons is their good chemistry. Soon we will witness the regular season, so let's just see if the team was really affected with that incident.

I for one think that the drama is over, although it seems to be just a slap in the wrist for Green, however, Poole seems to be ok with it at least, that is the impression that I got.

And so we will see in the regular games, both of them players really knows what's in line as they are the defending champions and they for sure wanted to repeat. And they can't do that if they won't put their difference aside. Steve Kerr will have to be in the middle as well, in the huddle, in the locker room and for sure, he will get the respect.

I don't see any customer service on this website. This is quite difficult for me to ask a few things about this site. So I think it is necessary to have online customer service on this site, to make it easier for potential users or users to ask things that are considered important.

Maybe you can just throw your questions here if you have doubts?

As far as I know, futuur has been in this community for years now and I have tested their platform quite a few times already.

But let's see about the worldcup, to be honest, I'm not really into this sport, but if there are good betting options then I might try to test my luck or just wait for our tipsters here.

What do you guys think about this video? Maybe I missed some recent news, but I just saw this video and was surprised that Westbrook looked like he was offended and was aloof from his teammates during the pregame huddle. At moments like this, the Lakers' chemistry seems pretty bad. Is there any news regarding the Lakers management's plans to trade Westbrook, or is Beverley just affecting him so badly?

Not sure what we can make up of that video, it can be interpreted in many ways and it seems that @Yogee pointed out a good source and summarized it.

In any case though, I think with this recent videos from training are popping around, maybe it's time that smart phones should be ban if someone wants to watch the training. I mean we don't know who is leaking this video, maybe part of the players entourage or someone close to the team. But this shouldn't be disclosed like the Jordan Poole and Draymond Green incident, and TMZ leaking it? I'm sure the person behind made a lot of money from it.
