3481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dead altcoin ICO's. on: April 14, 2017, 01:33:22 PM
Hi. I have some questions about altcoins. I see alot of dead ICO's about certain coins, essentially hijacking the coins name without using it. These are generally threads from 2013/2014, What would happen/is it possible to reuse the name of these coins without getting myself into any trouble etc?

you can reuse the name as many time as you want, in fact there are many coins with the same name, cheack picoin, from 2014 and from 2017, what you need to do is change the ticker, the abbreviation of your coin, to something else, if you have like two picoin, the ticker can be pic or pc for example, and exchange will have no problem adding it
I personally wouldn't even bother using a name that already exists, you'd be setting yourself up for a lot of problems imo. Even if you're using the name of a dead coin and changing the ticker.
It isn't that hard to find a name that's unique.

Recognisability is pretty important and you'll definitely lose some of that when you're using a name that already exists.
3482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ANY STRATEGY TO WIN IN GAMBLING? on: April 14, 2017, 01:22:31 PM
I really don't think there is any fixed strategy as of such. What one can do is pick a sport I would suggest cricket or football. Since the concept is easy, pick a team, look at the pitch, look at all scenarios. Then think who is stronger and who can win. It's not easy to win every day, but with regular updates and watch on the matches, you could win. But do expect surprises, but it will be fun if you last long. It's the best advice I can give hopefully you shall make some money.
In sportsbetting you can do arbitrage, that's a strategy to win for sure if you can find the right picks.
You've even got services that will provide you with the right picks on different gambling websites.
3483  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are signature campaigns really working for gambling sites? on: April 14, 2017, 01:06:05 PM
Aside from the obvious answers already given here like that it's valuable for either brand recognition and direct clicks.
I'd argue that it might also have an effect on their general seo by getting them a lot of back links.

Now, they're probably not all that valuable to be honest, but I reckon it does have some effect.

And people do click them and join from time to time. I've gotten 35 referrals for Crypto-Games with 1 of them depositing over 1 BTC.
3484  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: can I make 100$ in 2-3 month without a base money? on: April 14, 2017, 12:57:37 PM
It's hard to make $100 for 2-3 months if you don't have any knowledge or target of service you are going to offer.

But it's already enough to earn this amount for 2-3 months as with bitcoin there are a lot of source you can choose.

Campaigns, trading, faucets, giveaways and translation projects are good.
Actually it's easy to earn $100 in 2-3 months even in sig campaigns you can earn that especially those high paying rates you can easily achieve in more than 1month only
As stated it's truly a possible one to earn $100 in a time period of 2-3 months. Even a signature campaign allows you to earn such a amount if you're good enough to get a slot into an active campaign that is expected to run long time.
$100 on 2-3 months wont be hard even if you don't have base money to invest or to use up as long you do have skills then that amount would be achievable in no time but if not then it would be a tough job for you.Signature campaign would be also a good way 100$ would be gain but it would still takes time but lesser on 2-3 months period the question here is about your rank because salary would depend on rank.
Uhm you guys are missing the fact that OP has only 24 posts an is a Jr. member, it's impossible to get accepted in a sig campaign for him.
And even after a few months of constant posting, he'll not make that amount in 2 or 3 months.

Then add the fact that the good sig campaigns are already full...
3485  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: April 13, 2017, 05:17:57 PM
I've been in such situations that I realy need the money but it's very ackward and embarassing to me to ask other people for money. So, I try to earn some extra money or sell something and if that is not possible then I would ask my family or friends but that would be the last option.
Yeah, asking friends or family should only be used as a last option and even then I wouldn't feel comfortable doing so.
I mean, if you have a steady job, you should always have like 3 months worth of wages put aside in a savings account, just as an emergency fund.
3486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you buy for money won? on: April 13, 2017, 05:06:41 PM
Whenever I win a decent amount of Bitcoin, say more than 0.10 BTC, I usually invest it in altcoins.
Last time I bought a decent amount of Litecoin when they were at around $4.00
3487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if bitcoin dies, what alt would you go for? on: April 13, 2017, 11:48:54 AM
Mentioned here a few times already, but I would also go with Litecoin. It's similar to Bitcoin and a little bit better imo.
I also really like that fact that there will more coins in circulation than with Bitcoin. I've always found that 21 million cap a bit on the low side.
3488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost 10 BTC in three days. Should I end my life? on: April 13, 2017, 11:44:13 AM
Pro-tip: use that 15BTC to get some treatment for gambling addiction. If you're spending more than you can stand to lose, it's a pretty obvious sign that you're addicted.
I can almost guarantee you that you'll just gamble that 15BTC anyway.

Worst advice ever! Why don't you suggest him to do something else with that money, 15 btc is a lot of money he can do something much better with them then to spend them on some treatments.
If someone is not good in something its reasonable to assume that you will stop doing that, if you suck at dices don't play them. And if you are not skilled gambler who forced you to sit with 10000 dollars? You could try with 10- 50 dollars, and if you see its not going to quit on that.
No one should commit suicide, especially for money. You will earn more and you will have happy moments, think more about your actions next time and everything will be fine.

So you mean it is better to spend all the remaining BTC in gambling is much better than getting
the help that he need to quit from his gambling addiction? and even if he realize that is suck in gambling
or unskilled gambler that will not stop him from playing because of his addiction. getting help
is the best he can do to his remaining BTC.
Well if he could lose it all maybe that would be a good learning experience to him and he will regret it for the rest of his life and will
never gamble again. I think sometimes we need to learn hard way also, and although that is a big amount but if it would help to fully quit
in gambling then I would say it's worth the sacrifice.
That's not how addiction works... There will be no learning experience from this, he'll only gamble more after that to try and 'recover' his losses.
I stand by my original advice, that money should be saved or spent at a better place, especially after such a huge loss and obvious failure to control himself.
3489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: April 13, 2017, 11:30:29 AM
If you really can't control yourself, you'd need to find a way to lock your funds for some time when you feel like you should stop gambling.
For example, at Crypto-Games you can also invest in their bankroll and your funds are stuck for 24 hours, so you just can't gamble it.

You also have to pay a small fee if you take it out in less than a week, even more reason not to gamble it.
3490  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: how can i buy a website design for bitcoin site on: April 13, 2017, 11:23:47 AM
Hi,

Please any one here can help me for buying this website design

like this site : http://btcclicks.com

from where can i buy one like this site or another design not important but the same idea.

i want to but it on my site here: www.surfbitcoin.net
i but another faucet here : www.surfbitcoin.net/surf
but i want this web design for home page
if someone have another idea and need to help me, please tell me.

thanks for help

The best way so far for me to suggest is to post this at the service section. Look for a person/developer that you can be your very own developer for your desire to have your very own website or if that isn't sufficient just hire a developer that can do both, web/graphic designer and as well as programmer so that your money will be worth it.
I also think that it's best to look for a freelance developer to make a custom script, but he could save some money buy just buying a script with Paypal support and having a developer adjust it to pay out and accept Bitcoin.

What kind of budget do you have?
3491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If LTC succesfully implements SegWit, will and should BTC follow? on: April 13, 2017, 11:21:15 AM
I was really surprised to see that LTC had passed DASH in market cap and I'm certainly hoping that once segwit gets activated (almost certain that it will at this point), we'll also see a huge spike in Bitcoin segwit signaling.

I think it would be handy in the future if litecoin follows Bitcoin with the implementation of new features and getting them faster by making the threshold lower, like with segwit.
It could have a bright future by just being a 'testing ground' for new Bitcoin features.
3492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can't avoid taxes by investing in bitcoin on: April 11, 2017, 01:41:15 PM
Would you still have to pay taxes if you'd never exchange those Bitcoins for fiat and just use your profits to buy goods with? (in the US)
If so, how would they even be able to check if you're doing so?

Same for other crypto-currencies that are more anonymous.

LOL, worst advice ever? He's talking about committing suicide over 10 BTC, sounds like he could really use some professional help!
I'm not saying that he should spend the entire 15 BTC on getting some treatment, sorry if it sounded like that.

I truly believe that it's practically impossible for an addict to stop gambling without any external help, like going in treatment for it.

Send those bitcoins to someone who you can trust and use part of it for professional help. You will end up gambling away the rest of it most likely!
3494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: April 07, 2017, 08:57:48 PM
I don't think you can really tell. Even if they fair they might not pay out a big win. It's best to go with gambling sites with a good reputation. This is not to say never give a new site a chance. Just don't spend big money at a new site. If you a high roller take it to a reputable casino.
The only thing you really have is their track record.
If a certain Bitcoin casino has been running for a couple of years without any scam reports on it, you can be pretty sure that they're not going to scam you.

Crypto-Games is a good example of that and I'm not just saying that because of my signature Wink Just research it yourself!
3495  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Any legit profitable faucets? on: April 07, 2017, 08:54:31 PM
http://moonbit.co.in
They're paying, last I heard. But it will take some time to earn a significant amount with that Wink
I dunno, I wouldn't be wasting my time with faucets.
3496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: bitcoin dice casinos. Is it profitable to have such casino? on: April 07, 2017, 08:51:11 PM
Casino owners will continue making a killing from all the fees. But getting transaction volume in the exchanges is a very difficult task, the competition is pretty high already, but still plenty of time to attack this niche.
What are you talking about? This has nothing do do with Bitcoin casinos, you're talking about fees...
Casinos do not make any profit of off fees, they make money because the house edge is in their favour, just simple statistics.
3497  Economy / Economics / Re: how much do you earn with 25$ investment on: April 07, 2017, 08:48:44 PM
well, not much we can do with $ 25 if you're targeting to get a very big advantage. probably the best thing you can do with $ 25 is trading. well, it provides the greatest possibility to make $ 25 to be higher among all online businesses.
Even for trading you'd probably need bigger capital, sure you could get lucky by investing in a smaller altcoin, but that's just pure luck, unless you have some insider info about a certain pump & dump.
Saving and increasing your capital would be the best option here for sure!
3498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When I talk to NON-BitcoinTalkers they don't know.. on: April 07, 2017, 08:45:51 PM
Bitcoin is not as popular as we think and also most of the people I met don't want to involve in bitcoin because it is a currency for criminal and bad people, so when they already got a negative mindset, it will be difficult to change it
And it will be more difficult to explain segwit and bu to newbie, even some of the user not really understand that things, the most important for the user is the price
That's pretty anecdotal evidence you've got there :p When I mention Bitcoin to my friends, the conversation is more about the price than anything else to be honest.
I don't think that everybody sees Bitcoin as something that's only being used by criminals... Just saying..
3499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit Gambling for Good, think for your loved ones on: April 07, 2017, 08:40:25 PM
I couldn't agree more to this thread especially if you are someone to almost loses everything that you have like money, car, jewelry, and houses Which you own. also if you happen to notice that one of your loved ones or family member approaches and inform you that you almost losing time with them because of gambling.
I don;t know about that, I know addiction is terrible for all people involved, but to be fair, it isn't going to happen to everybody.
There are enough people that do have self-control and this thread just makes it seem like it happens to almost anyone.
3500  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New coinmarketcap interface on: April 07, 2017, 08:37:30 PM
You didn't respond to me, I'm still having the issue that I mentioned. I'm just worried if it's something only I have.
Can't take a screenshot with the cursor included for some reason, but like I said, when I hover over *any* clickable button on your website it shows me something like this:
