3481  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks would suffer till at least 2025, according to IMF on: May 27, 2020, 06:51:29 AM
If a bank needs 5 years to recover, imagine how much the average Joe needs. We've been all hit much harder than a bank and the result will be seen pretty soon..
I agree, the minimum to average income earners will be the mostly affected for this crisis. It's a bad sign for the entire world and for those countries that just simply follows the lead of US, they'll also take the same path as them.
^ Probably yes, the country's economy is devastated by the crisis surrounding the Coronavirus pandemic. The advent and rise of the Coronavirus pandemic in the world was shocking and unpopular, even in seven of the world's largest nations. The threat and impact on the economy as well as human life have been enormous. The country's huge economic downturn is expected because of this pandemic and will make it difficult for even large nations to recover from the crisis caused by the Coronavirus. It took five years for each country to recover and recover from this pandemic until they could find no cure for the dread that everyone feared.
3482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is your blackjack strategy when you have 12,14,16 Numbers in your hand? on: May 26, 2020, 07:17:57 PM
When i do have;

Under 10 in my hand - Double down
When 11 - 13 - Hit once
When getting 17-19 - I stand
^ We are the same strategy, when I got pair of 9's or even 8's number of cards. That is good to stand and beat the dealer, in this game you need to have a strong guess in your mind. If you will have number 19-20 in your hand don't hesitate to stand, never do any insurance bet when the dealer’s upcard is an Ace. Because the reason is the odds that the dealer, making it a sucker bet is my best opinion. Blackjack is a very easiest and simple game, but even though how easy it is, you probably need some luck in hitting cards on your deck.
3483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you do think you can start betting in sportsbook again? on: May 26, 2020, 06:47:39 PM
~snip~
Overall pandemic situation is not getting lower actually. We are at the last stage of first wave only and second wave is on the way.
^ This is what the most I afraid of, this is also humor in our country that there is a second wave coming or as they say a V2.0 virus.
I think next month will resume all kinds of sports events and gambling industries like betting probably back to their business and continue. Probably we can see that they will back slowly to their career and there are a lot of changes to it. I am sure that there will be a new normal implementation protocol before they can play again as an athlete. Nevertheless, this is not a big problem if they will follow all protocols and guidelines on how to have precautionary measures each person involved in that game, just like rapid testing and a couple of days in implementing self-quarantine.
3484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble to escape your problem? on: May 26, 2020, 06:34:32 PM
i gamble normally with or without problems   .
^ Definitely right, just gamble normally and separate your problem from gambling. Gambling is the purpose of having fun and probably you cant use this to escape your problem or gamble while you have a problem. That is a big mistake, instead of doing gambling just for fun and probably you may be pissed off because of possible will result from loss due to out of control. If you have a problem, it is good if you avoid for a while your gambling habit, because the chances of losses are quite high if you can't control your emotion. Nevertheless, gambling can give entertainment but use this to escape your problem, that is impossible.

3486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin? on: May 25, 2020, 07:00:12 PM
~snip~
1. In your life, when would you use cryptocurrencies to shop? We know that people like to use cryptocurrencies in the dark web.Is general life shopping necessary?
2. If you use cryptocurrency for payment, what currency will you prefer to choose and why?
3. At present, the altcoin market is very bleak. Do you think this is a buying opportunity?
4. What do you think is the easiest to implement in Altcoin's future application scenarios and will attract more users!
^ My answers.
1. We know that people like to use cryptocurrencies on the dark web. And Yes and right now. Because it will only show global adoption for bitcoin.
2. Bitcoin because that is the only currency that I have.
3. Probably yes but be mindful of what currency you will buy especially with the new ones.
4. The universal app where all cryptocurrencies can do transactions for markets or businesses right now will still need to have it one by one on their system that will make users be more confused about which currency they will get that has a wider range of usage.
P.S. I don't have much faith with the new altcoins because it doesn't prove anything in the market but somehow other altcoins I believe can still cope up we just need to give enough time because of the uncertainties that are happening in the economy nowadays.
3487  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Craig Steven Wright is a liar and a fraud - Tulip Trust addresses signed message on: May 25, 2020, 06:28:50 PM
^ For sure no one will trust, Craig Wright is just trying to tailor fit everything that he might get someone or everyone to believe him for if in case that it happens surely he could just escape all these lies for people will support hi, good thing no one does and all of us try to know the truth. Thanks to the real and only one Satoshi he made the key only for him and cannot be used by fraud like Craig. Nevertheless, this is just another bitcoin success that through this key Wright was proven as a fraud and just trying to own something that had never been his.
3488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a professional gambler on your own way. on: May 25, 2020, 04:15:16 PM

But there's something odd when people hear success stories of professional gamblers.

That depends on the person hearing it, but i must agree that majority would not believe that a gambler is successful because most of us think that when we gamble, we always lose money, only gamblers would really understand as they know what gambling is and they know it's possible to win as well.
^ Being a professional gambler for me is not all about the winnings and losing or probably how much time you spend in a casino instead it is all about attitude. Having control over yourself when or how to start and ends your gambling session is one of the factors that made someone a professional gambler for he knows when to stop when things don't go in favor of him and not getting emotional nor addicted to the game. Professional gamblers should also know how to accept losing regardless of how much is it as long as it doesn't hurt him nor feel any regrets afterward. Nevertheless, being a professional gambler for me is an attitude of knowing and executing his own gambling limitation in whatever aspect.
3489  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency adoption in Africa on: May 25, 2020, 03:02:13 PM
~snip~
The adoption of cryptocurrency is growing worldwide and Africa sticks out as the continent is showing lots of interest in it.
^ When we say of adoption it means that we are embracing the things that can offer us of what they only have and adoption of cryptocurrency is not excluded on this, if some features are not available in the cryptocurrency wallet mobile app then that is fine if Africans would still see the advantages of cryptocurrency surely they will not hesitate to adopt it. Some features are not accessible in the mobile app but smartphone developers will surely find its way to have these be included on their mobile phone once a nationwide or global adoption for cryptocurrency will happen. What is important right now is to have an absolute internet connection in Africa including the secluded areas in order for everyone to have access to their crypto wherever they are. Education or dissemination of cryptocurrency must be prioritized as well to each and every citizen of their nation for it will be the key for adoption. Nevertheless, these two factors must be done not only in Africa but in any country that has limited knowledge about cryptocurrency.
3490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know if a gambling site is scam or not? on: May 25, 2020, 02:29:05 PM
By selecting the gambling site from the other members can avoid us to choose the scam gambling site because they already tried it and they have good experience with that site. So that will help us to stay away from the scam gambling site, and we don't have to worry about that such site. But you still be careful because we don't know how long the gambling site will still online and don't use too big money to play gambling.
^ I will also suggest those gambling sites that you may see or have been talked in this forum because most or probably all those sites are already proven and tried by the people here. It is not easy to determine if a gambling site is a legit one or a scam and if you wish to continue trying to play a new or different gambling site aside from the one that you have already proven to be legit then might as well do some research first about the site for scammers will never say that they do scam before doing criminal acts to their target. Nevertheless, you may also ask some friends, relatives, or someone you trusted about gambling sites that you can play safely.
3491  Economy / Economics / Re: What online service / product would you buy in this recession ? on: May 24, 2020, 05:12:03 PM
^ Definitely everyone would buy necessities of their family first before anything else if someone would say saving or investing for the future that is not true they are doing it because at the time when they are saying it nevertheless they already have everything they need at home or probably they are not the one responsible in providing the necessities of their family like the sons or daughters whose parents are still the one who provides everything for the family. I am not against those who are in favor of saving or investing during this time of pandemic in fact I salute to them because they also look forward to the future and trying to secure it as well. In reality the first thing I bought when the recession started was food and other basic necessities at home both through the online and physical markets then I paid all my subscription to get a continuous service.
3492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miners are happy, while we suffer? on: May 24, 2020, 04:37:40 PM
^ Definitely the miners are not happy because of the rewards they are getting nowadays due to halving nor the users who do transactions and pay higher transaction fees but that only depends on how quick our transaction we want to be done. Aside from the volatility volume of the transaction also affects the transaction fee but when you do it off-peak then you may pay a higher fee and faster transaction. Nevertheless, all these are temporary when all miners started to work including those who suspend their mining because of the halving probably the transaction fees will go down again and at a faster rate.
3493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China electric issue causes Bitcoin to pull back on: May 24, 2020, 04:07:19 PM
^ Mining hash rate may not have a direct effect right now but if the electric issue in Sichuan will not be resolve as soon as possible then we will all experience the impact of this in bitcoins' price. Halving is still the main reason for this hash rate for there are miners who temporarily suspend their mining and that is base on what had happened on the previous halving and the electric issue in Sichuan still has no concrete evidence yet to prove that it is the main reason for a lower hash rate. Since the Sichuan issue has no direct effect on the hash rate than for me it is not the reason as well for the pullback in bitcoins' price.
3494  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving , and its Effects on: May 24, 2020, 03:29:49 PM
^ Halving is done and I definitely agree with @liutiaoming1 that the effect hasn't occurred yet and probably by the end of the year or early next year and we are still in the midst of pandemic so the real effect might occur late. There are already lots of articles in this forum about the effect but it is still speculation and that is only because they are sensible that for every movement in the price of bitcoins they immediately think that is already a halving effect. Nevertheless, you probably want to check other articles in this forum for more post halving topics and issues.
3495  Economy / Economics / Re: Can microeconomics help macroeconomics after the pandemic on: May 24, 2020, 03:08:48 PM
^ Microeconomics have their own role in the economy though they might be small most of the basic necessities of every country in particular with the agricultural products come from microeconomics or with the entrepreneurs. Thus recovery of the economy after this pandemic will start from microeconomics especially that globalization may not be the same as it was before right after the economic recession, where most of the large scale businesses come from rest assure after this crisis government will focus or prioritize first on this small scale before the large scale businesses. Nevertheless, loans for businesses whether small or large will definitely be more accessible after the recession because the government is aware that for the growth of their economy they need to support all these businesses.
3496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do online gamblers think about their privacy and anonymity? on: May 23, 2020, 04:52:59 PM
I think almost all crypto gambling still prioritizes the privacy of its users without having to involve KYC for registration and withdrawal etc.
^ Definitely right, online casino players have different ideas and preferences when it comes to anonymity but mostly choose to be anonymous when gambling because of additional security on the risk of identity theft and other threats. For me, I prefer playing in online casinos because of both anonymity and convenience and that is for the same reason, anonymity for identity security and convenience since physical casinos are pretty far from my residence besides I am not a big-time gambler and most of the time I only play gambling for entertainment and fun.
3497  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat is a Digital currency without Value on: May 23, 2020, 03:35:24 PM
^ It is really possible for the government to take the blockchain technology and lightning network especially if this is the only way for the government to have full control in cryptocurrency or bitcoin. If the government will divert or at least adopt the usage of bitcoin as another medium for exchanges then surely they will do that but with at least a minimal up to the full control on it because the economy's growth still relies on the exchanges that every citizen do on a daily basis. Nevertheless, the value that will be attached to bitcoin will no longer be gold or silver but instead it will be the USD that will identify its' value.
3498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin movements, possibly owned by Satoshi. on: May 23, 2020, 03:21:11 PM
^ All that were mentioned above are still speculation including if Satoshi is still alive, worse is everybody loves to speculate and predict the future base on the things that they can only see, doesn't make sense to me. It doesn't matter if Satoshi really has a million bitcoins then we cannot assume if he plans to sell it or not in whole or in the partial in fact, if whales and big fish will sell all their bitcoins it will give a huge effect on the market so what is the difference if Satoshi will do the same if and only if it is true that he has a million bitcoins. Regardless if Satoshi is a saint or a bad guy what is important here is that knowing that no one including him will destroy anything he invented which he knows is beneficial and may bring a positive future for everyone.
3499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Political Betting Around the World on: May 23, 2020, 02:58:13 PM
Gamblers love this, especially if they have been betting on politics but from other countries, but it's still up to the providers if they will consider adding online betting for local politics. One of the best way to get this betting available soon is to request it to your respective sportsbook, and that sportsbook will forward the request to their odds market.
^ Definitely right, political betting is possible and definitely it will become illegal for no politician will allow this kind of activity when their names will be shortlisted in gambling. This can also be used by a political candidate or elected politician for his own interest when we all know that there are some countries that election can be sometimes manipulated and will give a fabricated result. In my own, if ever this will be done, I will never spend a single penny to bet in any of the political candidates in our country because I can still consider that the politics here is already a dirty game so might as well not to play and bet on the games related to it anymore.
3500  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: May 23, 2020, 02:16:10 PM
^ It is possible for everyone to live in a world without a bank as long as the technology that the government will use a high-end technology such as the blockchain technology that will provide a seamless transaction when it comes to financing. But it will be an advantage to everyone for bankless transactions will give us full control in all of our assets. Nevertheless, this dream may really happen in the future and intensive studies must take place first before implementing it for the people are not yet ready for a digital world.
