3481  Economy / Economics / Re: Most people dont even know what this is yet. on: August 22, 2017, 10:19:59 PM
I called around some stores to see if they accept BTC, no one has even heard of it except like 0.1% of people.  Wait till people actually find out this exists...
Yes it is true. Bitcoin cryptocurrency and even Alternate Cryptocurrency are still cannot be recognize by other people even these are already been widely used worldwide. Maybe because other places around the globe does not yet have an access to it so people living around the vicinity do not even know its existence. There are some cases that due to the reason that it is not yet legalize on a certain place that is why bitcoin usage is abundant and do not been even advertise to let people know that it was existing.
3482  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin has power nowadays ? on: August 20, 2017, 10:59:32 PM
The reason why Bitcoin is the number one cryptocurrency is pretty simple: It was the first one. This first mover advantage persists, because Bitcoin quickly established the biggest support both from users and from developers. Having the biggest user and developer base maintains a strong network effect, that tends to draw in more users and developers, because the system appears attractive and is well-established as a payment system.

For any altcoin to compete with Bitcoin, it would have to offer something revolutionary new and useful, that can't be implemented by Bitcoin. Today's altcoins are mainly a testing ground for new ideas, that will end up being added to Bitcoin if they are good, leaving the altcoins that first introduced them behind (a current example for could be rootstock vs. ethereum).

ya.ya.yo!
Indeed. Bitcoin is really the first cryptocurrency to be established that is why its rise is really that fast because it offers people a lot of features to explore which is really beneficial and useful on their part. Bitcoin being decentralized enables us users to manage our own earning without the concern of government and banks. The capability of our money to grow is always visible because its price is continuously changing enabling us to gain by just simply saving and holding into it. Those features attracts people to get engage with bitcoin and that is why the demands and usage of bitcoin is rising that is the main reason I can see why bitcoin is that powerful. Because of the people behind it.
3483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: August 20, 2017, 04:55:45 PM

Do you spend a lot of time on bitcoin? Reading news, trading, or even writing your own analysis.
But how did you first hear about bitcoin?
Is it some articles you read about? Or just from a friend who has traded bitcoin for a long time?

Share your experience with us. Grin
I have first heard and encountered bitcoin with the use of modern technology in the essence of social media wherein my friends and classmates have been posting about a certain thing which is bitcoin cryptocurrency. That was the time I got curious so I start asking them about it and at the same time started my searching to fully understand what bitcoin cryptocurrency is. That is why I  still continue using bitcoin until now.
3484  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: August 20, 2017, 02:54:40 AM
Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ??
It's the first question one should face while starting to deal in bitcoins and answer this will satisfies you to choose bitcoin over others. Some of the benefits that Bitcoin have over other includes :

1-Quick transactions – Bitcoin is transferred quickly over the Internet.
2-No expenses/low charges – Unlike credit cards, Bitcoin can be utilized for nothing or low costs.. This enhances revenues margins deals.
3-International installments – Bitcoin is used all over the globe; e-commerce sellers and service suppliers can easily agree to take international payments. Which uncovered new potential commercial centers for them.
4-Information is secure – As we have seen with late hacks on general retailers’ disbursement processing systems, the Internet is not generally a secure place for private information. With Bitcoin, clients don’t surrender private data.
5-Much More Easier – Bitcoin is Much more easier rather than we think.Means to say It’s Much more easier than transfering a Payment from bank account From bitcoin you can even transfer a Payment in few clicks even While listening songs.
-Hope this will help you in believing Bitcoins !
Indeed. Those statements of yours are really the best features that bitcoin have that attracts and caught the interest of the first time users and even the long term users of bitcoin. Its price is really continuously changing as time pass by enabling our initial earning to grow more than the usual. Being decentralized is a great thing to have because we ourselves can only have the access to maintain and manage our accounts without the concern of the government and banks. 3485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using bitcoins for? on: August 18, 2017, 01:44:39 AM
The miners mine and hold, other mine and sell.

Investors and speculators buy, hold and sell.

You can buy random items in auctions and through the forums.

What are the reasons for the bulk of the bitcoin transfers? I read an article underlying the "dark side" of the internet and TOR network, and they seem to point out that bitcoins are now nearly the exclusive currency for the online "black market" (Note, they are not saying bitcoins are exclusively used for black market transactions)

What have you used bitcoins for?

Miner
Investor
Black Market
Other - explain

For me I oftenly used my bitcoin into stuffs that I want because I prefer to save and hold it for a long period of time to make it much larger in count compared to the usual count I have. If I am going to spend it, I am just spending it into investments to make my count larger for more opportunities of gaining an income from it. I also use bitcoin as a back up source for our financial needs in case that we come up into a shortage.
3486  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: August 16, 2017, 03:52:24 PM
"Japan: No Bitcoin Tax, Thousands of Stores to Accept the Cryptocurrency"

article published July, 5, 2017
https://edgylabs.com/2017/07/05/japan-no-bitcoin-tax-stores-accept-cryptocurrency/

"AirRegi is a widely used, tablet-based point-of-sale app in Japan. Currently, around 260,000 establishments, stores, and commercial facilities use this proprietary app to accept payments from their clients."

It makes sense that a transition to accept bitcoin would be underway for more US-based stores.
Retailers are the strategic individuals working into a certain establishments considering its consumers demands to come up with a plan or strategy to attract more consumers like doing an entrepreneurship. I think that matter of when does retailers will accept bitcoin is if the consumers have already used their demands on bitcoin usage. Consumer's demands will surely force and push the retailers to offer and operate bitcoin as a term of payment.
3487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: August 16, 2017, 02:40:36 PM
As we enter 2017, Bitcoin begins with a fresh start making it worth nearly $1000 per coin. Users, banks, and even governments are becoming more interested into Bitcoin, and its underlying technology called the Blockchain.

Now, as we progress into making Bitcoin more scalable and efficient than ever, I would like to know what are your thoughts for the pioneer cryptocurrency in 2017?

If all goes well for Bitcoin this year, it might increase its value more than $1000, as well as become closer to being used as a mainstream currency. What do you think?  Smiley
As we enter the year of 2017, we already have experienced getting into new things. that may bring challenges or a bad and good news. Bitcoin as a type of cyptocurrency is volatile in price enabling its dump and pump to give people store and get more income. In this year, my assumption is bitcoin can rise up to its peak price exceeding our limits of what we are just thinkimg bitcoin's price will be. I also thought that since bitcoin has already been established a couple if years ago, this 2017 bitcoin will be innovated to support and give larger income for its consumers. A great change will be coming this 2017 in bitcoin cryptocurrency world.
3488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: August 13, 2017, 11:53:34 PM
Okay, I am just making that headline short and sweet. What I mean is: What is one big dream that you want to realized out of your Bitcoin income? No matter how small or big it is, please share it with us here.

As for me, I have a big dream of having my own 10-hectare farm somewhere here in my locality and I want to stuff that area with all the fruits I can find here and with my main products which are cacao and coffee.

I guess I have this special connection with the soil and the land that is giving us the food and sustenance daily. And who knows maybe years from now I can be able to issue tokens out of that farm...something like AgriTokens or AgriCoins.

Please share your dreams!
All of us when we entered bitcoin has already been dreaming of getting rich because bitcoin provides income online enabling us to get  a large gain with its price pumps that we can use to buy things and stuffs and even buulding a house. That was my bitcoin dream to builda house of ny own and get rich
3489  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: August 13, 2017, 11:21:51 PM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?

For you to be able to make your dreams do come true such as getting rich with the use of bitcoin, you must still exert an effort that comes with a lot of hardwork and also with a lot of patience with you. Do not just be dependable on bitcoin's price pump because your money will not grow if you do not do a single move for you to get rich
3490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: August 13, 2017, 10:55:16 PM
I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
I think yes it is really possible for bitcoin to survive until it reach 100 years because as for now bitcoin has already have a massive number of users enabling it to be spread throughout the world. Also I believe that even we will die, the next generation will continue bitcoin cryptocurrency assuring that it has already innivated because looking forward I can see that technology will continuously improve same with bitcoin.
3491  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: August 13, 2017, 10:25:18 PM
Forget about everything else and just put everything on bitcoin. You are living with your parents, they pay everything for you, you got nothing to lose. If I was living with my parents, I would save everything and buy bitcoin monthly. If BTC doesn't keep rising you can still reach the 21 BTC holder group, then save this and retire in 10 years when the price makes you a millionaire.

Go all in on regret later. You are on a privileged position to profit from high risk high reward moves. No risk no win, and BTC is the best long term high risk bet.
I think they have the right to know the benefits of bitcoin by proper orientation about it but you must not force them to do such thing specifically engaging and getting involve with it if they do not want to. Yes you are right that it is a good foundation if they will start investing into bitcoin at their young age but let them handle it and decide on their own.
3492  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: August 13, 2017, 05:01:05 PM
i had about $200 worth of bitcoin.
How can i earn more with that amount?
should I trading? or make an investment?
and please give me some trusted site to investing my wealth.

**i dont want to give a loan, or else.**

if you had some advice, feel free to tell me.
really apreciate it.
thank you.
Anything you will choose between investing or trading will be  a great choice to do because at last, how you treat and how you see it will count on how you value the choice you have. Both will make you take the risk of putting your money into it. On trading, you will have to wait for the perfect moment to trade your assets into a handy money. Same thing applies with investment. You have to be wise on choosing where to invest and think if it will help you to gain more than what you have. Or you can just pick both trading and investing becauses more entries have more chances of winning.
3493  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: August 11, 2017, 09:38:53 PM
Just recently got into BTC; I have 2.5 saved up.
Plan on taking 25% of each of my paychecks and accumulating and seeing what will happen in 2017 or later in the year.

Thoughts? Ideas? Speculation? Advice? Tips?

 Huh
Wow. That was amazing and fascinating. Since I have joined and got involved with bitcoin, I have already saved just enough amount of bitcoin that I have earned from joining different campaigns and by investing on some sort of alternative cryptocurrency coins. Since I have been able to earn a lof from bitcoin, even I want to save a big part of it, I have already used up to 30% of my earning to help my mom with our financial needs. It is just fine for me to spend it because I am still earning using bitcoin and more chances to earn and save a lot for my future. Bitcoin do really continuously improving providing opportunities for large savings.
3494  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: August 11, 2017, 01:27:59 PM
I heard that bitcoin is a good investment for making a huge profit in the future , is that right ? Because i want to buy some bitcoin in these days .
You will not even know a thing unless you try it and take a risk until you see if that certain thing matter or really worth to spend have some guts to claim that it is really worthy. Since you have heard it already that many people are now investing and getting engage with this type of cryptocurrency, I suggest that you better try it for yourself and witness what bitcoin can really offer and provide not just by basing on other people thoughts but from your own experience. Trying and taking the risk is not that bad because in that way you can assure to get the exact answer for your questions.
3495  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: August 10, 2017, 12:51:48 PM
Let's say I have 2.1 BTC And I don't spend it. Will it go up a few cents if I save it? Cause in my wallet I have up to about 50 cents worth of bitcoin. I started up with 13 cents 7 months ago. Now all of sudden I have bitcoins worth 50 cents. What do you call this? I only made that one 13 cent deposit. Nothing else!
Having such a great count like that is a very amazing thing to think of. Ofcourse having a great count of bitcoin like that will push you to start being wise and knowing how you can let it stay for a long period of time. Saving will be a great thing or let us just say the best thing to do to be able to make your bitcoin last but saving will not just be a way to make your money grow because waiting or just holding it for a long period of time is like waiting for a tree to grow though worth a wait, we cannot still assure if the flow in the market is always on pump so to be able to add your gain, you must take a risk to spend it on useful thing such as investing into a beneficiary thing that you think can add up your current state of money.
3496  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: August 06, 2017, 09:11:06 AM
Money is not that important if you cannot live a long life. for me spiritually rich is more important than searching for luxury in the world that everyone wish for. Of course we need money to live and survive but what is enough is more than enough for me.

Well thats true, bitcoin was made for just money, it doesnt mean money should above all. Money is important in way of living, people should praise God, and put him in your priority.
3497  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: August 06, 2017, 08:53:23 AM
I can see this happening because it doesn't take any skills or having an education to be able to obtain it.
It is all internet money or cryptocurrency as the people online like to call it.
So all you need is a data plan to hold, obtain and use it. Undecided

I dont think so, knowledge is everywhere, even though opening a computer requires knowledge or else you cannot open it, even rhough bitcoin is simple , basic and faster it requires enough skills for you not to banned or hacked in bitcoin since its a way to mazey since tradings and investments were too technical. Bitcoin provides extra money but forum users should not libe dependently on it, since tradings dor btc or tolen takes time it will lead you to starving if you try once.
3498  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: August 06, 2017, 08:42:18 AM
If bitcoin has a stable price around 1000$ it will become more popular but if the price has fall down to less than 1 $ i think everybody will try to look for another coin to replace bitcoin
I dont think so bitcoin was known from dumping and pumping its value, it may reach 1.3 k but still people continuously working with it , I dont think people will try to find another fruitful crypto-currency since bitcoin was the first and only crypto which can provide us faster way of earning.
3499  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: August 06, 2017, 06:28:29 AM
No If I'm honest I do not see this happen at all, the possibility is there but I think its just to early to conclude this if I'm honest.
There are still too many people depending on other currency's and I do not see step over to another currency anytime soon.

We have different conviction but the thing is bitcoin is getting bigger and richer that may stores so much people to increase it value n times larger than bedore, since bitcoin is, simple, basic, irreversible and faster way of earning I dont see anything that may stop bitcoin form growing and be used worldwide aside from government.
3500  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: August 06, 2017, 05:55:18 AM
Yes I also think that bitcoin is becoming a worldwide currency and more people are interested to know about it, how they can treat it.

Yes it may be a global currency, but it is not the dominating currency worldwide, it must be known in each state worldwide and be used for trading and investing non or virtial community to sistain fairness usage of it value and to be obtain by forum users.
