I also thought like you and give them a chance to do something but it was a waste of time.
Also, what promises you want to hear from someone who's constantly lying? Just remember his big announcement about cooperation with CSOB bank, and in fact, they never heard about Minexcoin. What vision they can promise and expect from people to believe in that?
Friendly advice, sell this trash buy with that money anything you want (if you can) and forget about Minexcoin. It's not worth any effort.

Thanks for all these answers and explanations.

During the time I accumulated a lot of MNX from bounty, parking, and small investment. I haven't sold on the top because parking worked as it supposed to and all my MNX were closed at the time of the spike. I keep asking about the future, roadmap, plans because if there are any (even lies) then there is still hope for a pump and dump or alts bull run where I will look for a chance to sell this crap and I hope everybody can understand this.

Already in this thread, somebody commented lately that if I sell then I will be a scammer also but this is not true in my opinion. If somebody buys such a token without any research then this is his problem and if somebody buys and knows the real state of the project then maybe he knows something more and is aiming for a good profit. This doesn't make me a scammer that I want to get my money back especially if the information about the project is available for anybody.

The only people to blame and obvious scammers are the Minex team and not investors for sure or people involved in trading.
3503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How Bitcoin transactions work and what are their types? on: October 04, 2019, 09:04:09 AM
...Miners don't have to run bitcoin full nodes for their farms...From my understanding, China has biggest mining farms globally, but they are not the leading nation in blockchain technology...From that perspective, it is reasonable to see top nations...the USA, Germany, France, Netherlands.

I don't think this is the reason why there are not so many full nodes in China. What @Pooya87 has written is very important:

Quote
for mining farms that own a lot of hashrate it is more secure and profitable to connect to a node they control

From my understanding, there are not so many full nodes in China because they need only a couple of them even for big mining farms. They have thousands of miners and a few or a dozen full nodes is enough for their needs. In other countries like the USA, Germany, France, Netherlands mining farms are a lot smaller and they have also a few or a dozen full nodes, just like the big once.

Now let's sum it up to better understand what I mean. There are only a few very big farms in China with only a couple of nodes and a lot more of smaller mining farms in the other countries, with the same or even bigger full nodes amounts. Additionally, all these bans for crypto mining in China for sure prevented many ordinary people from buying a miner and to start mining. So we can assume that in the other countries there is a lot more mining done by small investors on one or a few miners maximum and for safety reasons they need full nodes.

Large BTC mines in China do not translate into the number of full nodes because not every miner must be a full node and just a few or a dozen is enough, to meet their safety needs, even with hundreds of miners or more.

True that even I'm not able to find the review for VEIL on the proof of review website but their twitter handle clearly has a tweet for the same. So, I guess, it's better if we ask proof of review website for it.
https://twitter.com/ProofOfReview/status/1093575247750676481

I already have sent a couple of messages to PROOF OF REVIEW team regarding VEIL review but never got an answer.

I tried on all available social media channels and with email, of course. That is why I asked about it finally here in the thread.

I see some activity here in this thread so I still hope to get the answer.

Accept the loss of the coin, as I did, for no one else needs it.
This experience has gone to your advantage and now you will carefully check the project before investing.

Perhaps someday there will be an enthusiast who can develop the coin, but under this name it is not destined to get a good course in the future.

Have you at least read my post before you wrote this comment, don't mention to read a couple of pages of the thread?

If you have you would know that we have already accepted losses almost a year ago and I am still here only because I was involved in the promotion of this project.

That is why I want to be here to the end if this is the case.

Hi everyone! What's up here? This project is pumping. I am curious why there is no website and latest updates.

I know that it was a while from the time you asked the question but lately I started to look for info of this project and am a little confused because at start the main idea was to be Blockchain Developer Ecosystem but finally decided to change the strategy of XMX to become the world's first computing power token.

You can find more information on their website: http://xmx.com/en but not much to be honest. For example mining data:

http://xmx.com/en

It would be great to hear some more info from the team or members which are closer to the project because it looks like they are already mining, buying miners and burn tokens but I can't find really detailed information like where the mining facilities are placed, what for miners they use, what is the actual roadmap and so on?

On the website, there is nothing useful, only some mining data and I look for white paper, the team, etc.

There is this info on their webpage:

http://xmx.com/en

3507  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't share your best email or KYC documents with every bounty or airdrop!!! on: October 03, 2019, 07:03:46 PM
...Projects who look clean and trustworthy can change over night if their intention was to gain their users trust and go out with a bang.

Exactly, that is the main reason why we should never trust any airdrops or bounties, etc. if the first thing they ask for is KYC to "prevent multi-accounts". Especially when they ask for full scans of documents like passport or driver license. For such an airdrop or any other project which will distribute their coins in such a way should be enough if we send any document with a picture, name and maybe address on it, with all other info fully covered, so-called "SIMPLIFIED  KYC". This should be clearly stated that all other data on screens should be carefully covered, special stamp or something else added to make them not useful for scammers and later selling of course.

Let's take ENERGY airdrop as an example because this is the most lucrative airdrop in recent months in terms of payout. There is also KYC needed to qualify but this is so-called "SIMPLIFIED KYC" and any document with a picture, and the name is enough to pass it. Additionally, there was a piece of paper needed with Energy handwriting on it, which already make these scans useless for further selling. Energy team informed on the KYC page that all additional info should be fully covered and I was able to pass this KYC with an old expired document, exactly 20 years old driving license  Wink.

I think the most important thing is to have a common sense. We simply cannot be blinded by the promised reward, just calmly analyze and check everything. If the project that is going to carry out an airdrop is acting, just like Energy team, then everything is fine. Just don't be fooled and don't send documents, especially when they ask for full scans, it should be a big red flag because they are certainly not needed to verify your identity. Remember that SIMPLIFIED KYC or even social media account should be enough to do this. There is no need for full KYC and in particular when it comes to a completely unknown team from some new project that can't be checked anywhere.

ciach

3509  Local / Alternatywne kryptowaluty / Re: Fenomen BNB (Fundamenty ALT/USD) on: October 03, 2019, 04:47:58 PM

- 40$ i wolumen rośnie wymiernie do 400 - 500 milionów dziennie.

3510  Local / Alternatywne kryptowaluty / Re: Polish Hyde Park - altcoiny & tokeny on: October 03, 2019, 04:21:07 PM

We don't need more lies from Boris and other from Minex if there still someone except Boris.
Whatever you hear about new improvements or develop in Minexcoin is a lie. there will be nothing more here. He (Boris) got the money and all other promises are just to make easy exit scam.
super algo, instabuy, game, credit cards ... everything is just plain crap.

I understand your point of view and that you are fed up with all these lies, exactly like me but just to have the full picture I wanted to know the future roadmap for Minexcoin if there is any.

I still hold a significant amount of MNX and even park them, although it is completely unprofitable compared to the rates at the beginning.

I can't find any information from the team about the future of the project.

As I said, no matter if we think it is a complete lie, I would like to know what their further vision for this project is. I hope you understand.
3513  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Minexcoin | Minexpay on: October 03, 2019, 11:32:54 AM
indeed this is quite disturbing, but maybe there are some who are serious about asking that. actually they can find out right away, reading culture must be improved to reduce spam
You never posted in this thread before right? You post is completely incoherent, it makes no sense at all in relation to the subject matter.
All you did was to make a post here to increase your post count so you could promote the cryptotalk.org signature
Pathetic

I see this is not the first spammy post from fellow CryptoTalk.org signature campaign participants and I want to advise reporting them to Yahoo because you are here frequently and know all posters very good. Additionally, this is obvious spam and for sure they are not interested in the discussion about Minexcoin.

Yahoo already asked in this thread CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] for help in reporting spammers. Just send him a PM.

Now back to the topic. I have a few questions about Minexcoin and can't find the answers.

What are the recent news (lies) from Minexoin? What is the future of this project in Boris eyes?

I am asking you JollyGood about this because I think you are one of not many members with enough knowledge about Minexcoin.

I have heard that some time ago there was a plan to develop a game were Minexcoin will be used as the main currency is this true or maybe already developed?

What with this super algo, insta buy (if I pronounce it good) and all the other main reasons we have invested in this project during ICO (MNX - 70K USD  Grin) ?
3514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ▉ANN▉ MTNC ▉▉▉▉░ Masternodecoin ░▉▉▉ Multiple Privacy Center Platform on: October 03, 2019, 11:01:24 AM
We have to wake up the project
need to do a community take over
any ideas how this take over will start from the whole community?!
We really need someone who can fix the blockchain so we can then do a token exchange to a new blockchain.
We need one that will not break every few weeks something more stable. we really just need a new core developer because it seems ideaupdater has abandoned us.

I don't think that community takeover will be possible without the developer @Ideaupdater.

First, somebody with enough knowledge has to check the GitHub repository for Masternodecoin if there is everything we need to be able to do this.

For almost a year we are screaming for takeover and the swap but nobody seems to be interested, despite a couple of old MTNC hodlers.

There is a lot of work and the probability of success is very low, especially when Masternodecoin was removed from all exchanges.

A lot of work and a very small chance for incentive equals no willing people with adequate knowledge to undertake this.

The geographical distribution of bitcoin full nodes that visually presented by the image, gives us the fact that China has much less impacts on bitcoin, technically (at least)...In the top ten nations: 3 come from Asian continent, 2 come from American continent, and 5 come from European continent.

Exactly, I was also surprised to see Europe at the first place with 32,27% of all full nodes (exactly 2987) in countries like Germany, France, and the Netherlands. The second spot with 25.29% which is exactly 2341 full nodes goes to the USA and China is at 6th place with 3,53% which gives only 327 full nodes.

https://bitnodes.earn.com/

Is really surprising to see China at 6th place only with 327 full nodes because I was sure that the biggest amount will be in the biggest mining farms, but to be honest I don't know if mining is actually allowed there or not because China banned and unbanned BTC and mining so many times that I don't know what is the real situation there?

Pomimo wszystko wolumen BNB cały czas maleje a cena spada.

Szczerze mówiąc zanim zareklamowałem, to najpierw sprawdziłem projekt ENERGI i wszystko wyglądało dobrze.

massive updates to cold staking PR https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX/pull/1033/files
...(new 4.0 wallet is a complete UIX revamp + further POS optimizations) translations are also being done...
maybe this updates is the main causes why the price of PIVX growing hard now...

This is why I always like to wait a couple of days after such a price spike to see if this uptrend will continue, stay at this level (when moving sideways) or will fall so fast as it went up.

For me, this price spike was nothing more than a small pump and dump. It was easy to do because of PIVX low volumes, which were at 300K USD on average before the pump.

It was enough to push the volumes to 3,5 million USD for one day to move the price by almost 70% up.

As we see on the chart screened above, there was already an attempt to pump PIVX three days earlier. I assume somebody tested the bot  Wink.

Of course, this is great that PIVX is developed further but this has nothing to do with the latest price spikes. Pure pump and dump for me.
