3501  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: April 07, 2017, 08:28:58 PM
It really depends on the situation, I usually only sell when the prices are going down again, so there's no fixed percentage of profit I make on any given trade.
You can usually see by looking at the BUY and SELL orders when that's going to happen, I'll have the trade ready when it's almost time to do so.
3502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: April 07, 2017, 08:21:18 PM
I don't feel shame at all for gambling, i think people that feel shame for gambling ar ones that are addicted to gambling, as everyone that aren't addicted to gambling never feel shame because they understand that gambling is nothing more than avtivity, which lets you earn some money. I don't think that gambling is different from playing games or reading books, so i don't feel shame while gambling.
I don't think that everyone that feels ashamed for gambling has a problem, sometimes it's just social pressure that makes you feel ashamed of gambling.
If people in your environment don't approve of gambling, you're going to be ashamed if you do it, it's as simple as that imo.
3503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which bitcoin gambling site is your favorite place to go? on: April 07, 2017, 08:18:13 PM
I have only played few of them but I would suggest satoshimines/bitsler/bitdouble because of their clean layout which is super easy to understand things and friendly staff/good support good luck gambling.

I too like bitsler site and you can also try fortunejack site because they also got a nice layout for a dice game. And you can also play many different games because they got many games except sports betting. They also provide a live support for all your issues. For sports betting I like directbet site because of simplicity to bet and superb support team.
I dunno, Fortunejack reminds me too much of a traditional gambling site, I just don't trust the slot games they have for example.
I'm obviously a big fan of Crypto-Games myself, because they're just much more transparent about everything.
3504  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin-Market on: April 07, 2017, 08:16:03 PM
I wonder why you chose the name 'Bitcoin-market'? It looks just like any regular Bitcoin forum, with a focus on buying and selling stuff.
It's interesting though, but any reason why you went for the forum-like approach instead of a regular marketplace website?
3505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have u ever received BTC accidentally or randomly? on: April 07, 2017, 08:11:48 PM
It happened to me once – I was just opening my wallet when I suddenly saw around 10K–20K satoshi payments arrived in patches at my address up to 0.002BTC. I was going to send them back to the address that sent them to me, but my wallet had gone crazy about the fees due to the huge input data size (it required 0.00126BTC to transfer the 0.002BTC  Tongue). I couldn't use it, nor send it back. I changed the wallet because of that.
If it's such a small amount, I wouldn't even bother sending it back.
If we're talking about more than like 0.10 BTC, I'd make an effort to find the mistake, but anything less than that, I wouldn't worry about it personally.
3506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Ban on: April 07, 2017, 07:55:37 PM
I don't know if governments could actually punish every user when they ban Bitcoin.
I'd like to compare it with torrents, Germany for example is doing a pretty decent job prosecuting users that illegally share material, so I think it might have a big effect if multiple countries went about it the same way as Germany does with torrents.

A lot of people would still be able to do it ofc, but it serves as a decent deterrent, so the price would go down I believe.
3507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a SURVEY SITE that will pay you BITCOINS? anyone? on: April 07, 2017, 07:48:20 PM
I have a maintaining site of survey and it pays me $. Not as much as you need for a day but it may stack at my paypal account for the future purposes. The sad thing is, for a month, they can only give me an invitation to answer surveys for only 2-3 times. It's kinda frustrating. Anyone who knows for a Bitcoin paying SURVEY SITES?? thank you in advance..

Survey  sites are a waste of time, unless you live in the USA.

A survey site that pays with bitcoins is an interesting idea by the way.

I disagree, I live in Belgium and I'm a member of a few survey sites that actually send some free products to test out AND pay you to test them.
Not even small amounts, sometimes as much as 20 euros to test like new energy drinks n stuff. Win Win I'd say! The surveys themselves only take like 1 minutes a day :p

Talking about Profacts if anyone is interested.
3508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting question on: April 07, 2017, 05:25:32 PM
I usually only bet on world cup games and always on my own team, Belgium, but sadly this has resulted in a net loss the past months :p
Also betting on the Belgian competition from time to time and made a nice profit by betting on Eupen.
3509  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin changes finance - but for the better or the worse? on: April 07, 2017, 05:20:48 PM
Lack of supply manipulation, like you mentioned, could actually be considered a benefit.
The value of Bitcoin should only go up over time due to limited supply.

Now I'm also not sure if Bitcoin itself could ever replace the current financial system, but another future crypto currency might.
3510  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin ????? on: April 07, 2017, 05:17:20 PM
Thank you for an explanation . If i may know . How do i get bitcoin here . At present there are many speaking bitcoin this
If you don't mind, it might help if you share from which country you're from?
Some countries have local exchanges that will allow you to buy Bitcoin easier than more international exchanges.
3511  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New coinmarketcap interface on: April 07, 2017, 12:07:54 PM
A minor issue, if you hover over the filter symbol and all of the coin names, the cursor changes as if you're hovering over text. Should be changing into a hand.
I'm using the latest Firefox browser.
3512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling investment is zero sum on: April 07, 2017, 12:01:19 PM
For me it's just fun to gamble and I also try to invest my winnings in the gambling site.
You can't touch your investment for 24 hours, so that keeps me from gambling it again and I make some profit of off it Wink

At least, that's how it works on Crypto-Games
3513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost 10 BTC in three days. Should I end my life? on: April 07, 2017, 11:57:09 AM
Pro-tip: use that 15BTC to get some treatment for gambling addiction. If you're spending more than you can stand to lose, it's a pretty obvious sign that you're addicted.
I can almost guarantee you that you'll just gamble that 15BTC anyway.
3514  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the big things on social media that can be relate with bitcoin? on: April 07, 2017, 11:53:12 AM
Advertising bitcoin and putting interesting content is an easy thing to do!

But convincing potential users is the hard thing to do. these potential users have no idea
how bitcoin works and surely will not be willing to try it blindly.

It's far easier to 'convince' people to use Bitcoin if they have any real world uses for it.
For example, teens that do not have access to a credit card use Bitcoin to buy games on Steam, I've heard some people uase Bitcoin for this reason.
3515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you play online street fight game for bitcoins ? on: April 06, 2017, 09:47:43 PM
I would if there was a way to prevent people from botting.
Seems like it would be pretty easy to cheat on something like that.

Also, a game like this would be pretty awkward playing with a keyboard, no?
3516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 7 Traits of A Pump and Dump on: April 06, 2017, 09:45:13 PM
Some views from this article are amazing, really well put and straight to the point, I laughed so hard at this:

"Again, humans are as dumb as sheep and goats – they run together without really understanding why – a great example of this was Zcash;
no one really knew why they wanted it, but everyone else wanted it and Zcash crashed over 99.99%."

It illustrate how easy people can be manipulated, and it has very little with being intelligent. As we all share herd mentality

They wanted it because they saw fortunes made with it

As the proverb goes, bitterness and greed render one impotent. And I'm not so sure about the former, at least, not as much as about the latter. Greed seems to be the least common denominator that makes people "as dumb as sheep and goats". Folks lose their reasoning and common sense when they see how the price has been rising and fancy how they earn hefty profits without having a second thought that they might in fact be too late to the party
The same could be said about Dash, that was probably also being pumped pretty hard :p

Great article, but the website looks kinda empty and a bit too minimalistic for my taste.
3517  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the big things on social media that can be relate with bitcoin? on: April 06, 2017, 09:41:25 PM
I think it's a really good idea to also activily upvote /R/bitcoin posts on reddit so they reach the front page.
It's something that I often forget to do, but if more people did this it could really improve awareness.

Also, did anyone participate in /r/place on april fools? The Bitcoin logo was pretty visible on there Wink

Alt account maybe? Anyway here's the comment:

Quote
Shitcoin after shitcoin will come and go but a few will actually solve some issues people have with bitcoin, namely the anonymity. There are lots of other currencies that are anonymous so I don't see why you're focused on zcash, unless this is just a poor attempt to advertise it.

Edit: Just noticed the thread about 'New posting bots', sorry if this has already been mentioned in that thread, but I'll leave this up for now.
3519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Crimes, and Terrorism on: April 03, 2017, 03:17:08 PM
Unfortunately bitcoin is often used for illegal activities including terrorism and itt anonimity contributed great deal to that. That is the reason why bitcoin had bad reputation very long time, some even considered it as a criminal currency although every currency in the world could be used for crime.
I think Bitcoin is not used for illegal activities much because if a person adopt bitcoin then he will earn himself without any bad activity like if he start trade or to start any other online job with bitcoin. So then he will not need any other illegal activity for making money.
I think it's pretty naive to think that Bitcoin isn't used much for illegal activities, just look at how much Bitcoins the FBI seized from the old Silk Road and look at how many more of those marketplaces are still operational.

Also, someone using Bitcoin isn't magically going to start making money just by using it. Earning Bitcoin is much like earning regular cash, you need to work hard to do so.
3520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is everyone? on: April 03, 2017, 03:12:56 PM
Is there any specific reason why Litecoin is suddenly gaining again after months of being pretty stable?
Seem to be pretty reasonable gains too, not like DASH for example...

Litecoin also seems to be one of the least innovative coins, pretty similar to Bitcoin.
