Has anyone having problem syncing their new updated wallet?
Well, I haven't until an hour ago. Now, I restarted it over and over but it's still "Syncing with the network", but desynchronized. Maybe that's linked with the fact that a single block take several hours to mine. That should make the network feel blue... not syncing here.. Just restarted my wallet and it is also stuck...ruh...roh... Yup all wallets are stuck. Not anymore! It synced.  synced. |

Guys watch Vertcoin (VTC) , is a great Crypto but no revolutionary, is very similar to litecoin
From 1st February 2014 with Kimoto Gravity Well algo implemented , the market cap increased 25 times , from 400k to 10M , so...
I can't wait , we have also killer feature (mixing) .
i invested in vtc..i even told someone in this thread to invest in vtc when a guy was complaining about multipools raping this coin..it was .0005btc back then. |

Something to think about before dumping.I have mined over 2000 LTC since May, and while I made a decent profit relative to my investment, I've been kicking myself for selling most of my 2000 LTC at prices that would make you laugh. Hey, $15,000 in extra income for a year sounds great on the one hand, but when it could have been $40,000 for six months of mining... well, I played it safe. Fine. VTC, I've got extra funds already and don't need to sell any time soon. Coinedup looks like this for the past ten days, and the only reason it took that long to determine value was likely due to the (needed) client update and implementation of KGW. Holding my VTC for at least four more months before selling. By then, I ought to have in the neighborhood of 4000 VTC if things go as planned. And if VTC ends up hitting 0.05-0.10 BTC (which is my hope), that's a lot of money. :-D learn from old timers! |

now..my 2 vtc passed thru but not the rest..

This coin will defeat Litecoin in short time. All the people that put so much money into their GPUs to have scrypt ASIC come out and risk their whole
investment will switch to Vertcoin.
All coins from Vertcoin onward will be Nfactor. And this coin will be the new LTC.
All the miners of the world will buy this coin and mine it to show they will not be compromised by the threat of ASIC mining.
And Litecoin will fall. It's evolution.

i'm using vertminer mining with 2 280x..mining reports ~700khs for the two cards but the pool only shows 20-30 khs
Are you getting any HW errors? Check the cgminer settings thread to see what other people are running with. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=416572.0BTER is my favorite. China would love this coin.
It would not be hard to get Chinese exchanges to list this. They should be coming off New Years soon.
Cryptsy will list this sometime this week. It matches all criteria.

Facing a problem here. CGWatcher is reporting over 500Mh/s mining Vertcoin while generating 0 share acceptance from the pool. Everything is getting rejected. None of my mining settings has changed as I can still mine DOGE and whatever. Everything is getting rejected.
Are you using the Vertcoin specific cgminer? Also, the same settings you use for Doge and other scrypt coins might not work for mining vertcoin. i'm using vertminer mining with 2 280x..mining reports ~700khs for the two cards but the pool only shows 20-30 khs |

Is everyone using this? Do we know it's legit? Don't need any trojans! I have it installed, its showing six active connections. I haven't tried sending any coins to it yet, though no connections for me..no block source available.
