So.. we all need tests to determine whether or not we actually have this life ravaging, economy closing disease which has taken only our weakest to the tune of last year's influenza numbers?  Only brings up more questions personally.

Sounds like your starting to grasp the situation.

People that are afraid of being infected should stay home with masks, hazmat suits, space suits, or any other carnival suits of their liking. Instead they try to go to the places where free and healthy people go and infect other people with their psychotic nightmares.

Welcome to ignore Moron.

This is a really good talk about the various privacy methods.

Good: Seeing shorts slowly getting liquidated.
Bad: Watching ~4k BTC being transferred from unknown wallets to Binance.

Shit, that went from Coinbase Custody to Binance?

Sounds weird to me.

Hi guys,

Typcroni44n shows up again, surprise, surprise... Returning pretty often for not wanting to be part of our boy's club, eh?  Cheesy

Well, the universe seems to put me on some tests before it might finally collapse on the 17th.
Wifey drove home from work, but instead of joining her brother's birthday party, she got into a car accident.  Undecided
74yo lady in front of her missed her turn and hit the brakes, honey bunny managed to stop about a foot behind her. So far so good, but the two ladies behind crashed my babe's car into the 74yo granny's volkswagen caddy. Hospital, x-ray, CAT scan. No cracks or dislocations, luckily, but severe spinal trauma. Now she's in serious pain, the safety belt left an impressive mark on her chest. She's in home care since today, so i'll be occasionally reading WO in the next few days or weeks, depending on how things develop.

I hope we broke through the $14k when she's fine again and i'm back posting my usual nonsense.

Drive carefully.

Sorry to hear man, best wishes.
Hopefully she will be fully recovered by the time I catch up. Wink

What a farce.
Just as the US is opening 7 elevens, pharmacies and almost any other to place to facilitate bitcoin buying as well as ATMs all over the place, you get Germany taking a step backwards.
Don't they know that the Honey badger will not be defeated.

They are simply monetizing their central bankers at the expense of the masses, did we expect anything less?

Alphabay all over again Cheesy

Luckily I have most in cold storage and am in no way touching that!

3 years of re-accumilating has taught me a thing or two.
3511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: August 07, 2020, 03:03:51 PM

Nothing much to add but as well sticking with this one ‘altcoin’ (if you consider any other coin than bitcoin an altcoin, else I don’t like the naming because it is too binary) because of its clear use case: to have financial privacy one needs fungibility. This IMO has been, is, and probably for a long time will be Bitcoin’s achilles heel. The day that gets fixed I make the switch to Bitcoin only, since it is the most secure and most commonly used network.

This will never get "Fixed" as it is considered a "Feature" now and would require a change to the base layer which will never happen. As we all know second layer solutions are just inherently flawed and cannot be secured to the extent a base layer can.

On the speculation side, I got a notification that a few of my old sell points got hit @ 0.00789 and 0.00812 and I had to scramble to find my auth code for binance to get my monies back! I think I was drunk when I set those and decided I was bored. Thats the first time I have sold any in as long as I can remember and Its at the worst possible time. Smiley

Even when I do sell its for the sole reason of grabbing some in a dip but I don't think we are going to see another dip for awhile, it looks like the volume for weak hands is not there anymore.

Hah, thats the last thing I needed with this damn headache that won't go away. Smiley

Is that the best they can muster?
3513  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bakkt on: August 03, 2020, 05:05:34 AM
Keep trying to help them weasel out.

Someone bought a little too heavily into the idea that Wall Street came to accumulate BTC. Tongue

They came to speculate! If it's cheaper or more convenient for them to roll over to the next contract, so be it. No skin off my back.

Yup. keep believing wallstreet is not running of the Fed reserve tittties.

they came to scoop off the market cap and shake confidence.

WHY do you think the price hasn'tr gone up in years? You think thats organic or history repeating itself?

'You forget to take into account Knowledge Doubling Curve, everyone knows what bitcoin is now.

EDY: sorry watsted tobigh and misread your relp. thye ARE accumilating as cheaply as possible burning siezed coins and brrr'd fiat and they keep dumping it to shake confidence.

BITCOIN IS UNDER ATTACK and people act as if its all good and the moon is right around the corner.

which it stilll is cause they can't jhold the dam back forebver.

fuck u cna spell check i gotta pass out
3514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: August 03, 2020, 04:54:52 AM
Hah the sells keep getting lower volume, but its a setup. those faggots that stole cpoins from exchanges with kny keep dumping to kill confidance. expect a big dump...but donm't let it shake your coins loose.

Remember Monero will only mine 18 Million!

Reminds me of when I 1st heard Deep Purple's  "Smoke on the Water" and thought the refrain was "Slooooow running Hoooooorses!....."

...on fire in the sky.

Obviously, a hymn from the book of revelations.

I wonder what's that "mobile" they are referring to as in:
"To make records with a mobile
We didn't have much time..."

calling @JimboToronto...

They were recording an album for mobile studios on the spur of the moment is the story. IIRC

some stupid with a flare gun burned it to the ground

smoke on the water and fire in the sky.

frank zappa of the mother’s  studio was burned to the ground.

My first concert at long islands nassau coliseum.

1972 I was 15.

Hah, those were the days of youth for me as well. My Mom was a bartender and i used to play this on the jukebox all day long. these days it would be child abuse to have kids in bars. Smiley

she used toi say i was better off in the bar with her than on the streets Smiley

Considering he has .25btc I find that hard to believe but what address do I have to send to first??? Grin

Just click the link in this scammy sounding offer and they will give you the address.

Hah, keep getting interupted watching this.

https://youtu.be/yz8ymvqUMrU?t=1911

Fucking derivatives are stealing the cap off of bitcoin and people are oblivious to it. they think getting institutional cash is good for the infrastructure nut its a trick to skim off the cap and take the steam out of the movement.

I'm a little wasted tonight if i dont make sense

Didn't we have basically the same poll not long ago?

Yeah, I voted 0% but now my answer has changed to 10% so we could actually run this over and over and get different results Smiley
