In my opinion there is relatively easy way and I commented it in other thread. That way is called "Altcoin police" (or name it as you wish). This can be group of respected and long time members of the forum which will act like CryptoAsian's PoD (who proved that is not always working). They can also review the code for malware and only then you can announce launching of new coin (otherwise thread will be deleted by mods). There is also a way for them to be rewarded. The dev/s of the coin can paid them in BTC (let's say 1 BTC for 10 people from the "police") from their "pocket" or gathered with small ICO.

Of course that we aren't. SFR holders must not worry about it's future. Some things (one of them is marketing) should be sorted out and the coin will be back at least where it was (at $200,000+ market cap). Please understand that not all trolls are bad people. Some of them are people who suffered many losses on the market and became embittered. Sometimes I feel sorry for them... Communities and supporters must work together if they want to see better times for their beloved coins. It is easy to say: "Thank you Mohammed... you are always delivering.", but this is not enough. Everybody has some skills and can contribute with them. How do you think Dogecoin reached that popularity? Yes, Saffron is not alone, but Mohammed kinda is. |

Why not? He is maybe a pirate without ship and he just wants to buy one with other people's BTC.  I think he already stole accounts by created earlier copy/paste threads with trojans. I saw 3-4 times threads with copy/paste info (even with not ended countdown) and link with trojan. Idk about that, but I think it will be good idea to form something like Altcoin Police (opposite to CryptoAsian's PoD (which several times proved that is not working)). People who launch coins will be reviewed (who they are, source code etc..) by respected members and then they will have the chance to post new thread. If not - mods will delete their announcement. It can be done really easy imo... |

You guys are not alone. 847 satoshi was my 0.25 BTC "wall" (it is still there) and SFR bottom atm. Soon the price will at least double. Oh!, that's you...sorry.. my goal is to push the price... up to help this coin... you know what I mean...  Do not worry about that. Pretty soon SFR will have a lot more exposure. No, you are not a bank and for handing out loans you need to be. Secondly: You are connecting your crypto with fiat money and for that you need a license. We have laws in EU about money laundering and other laws. Then we have the issue with your history that tells us that you cant even manage a small company. Why bother explaining him? He wants to raise 15,000 BTC with lame logo, unfeasible idea and broken english. Personally I had not seen such insolence! P.S. I know that my english sucks, but at least I don't want $4M+ from the people. |

I just discovered that the full wallet downloads the blockchain that is quite bloated at 10GB... and will keep on bloating. This is a grave inconvenient. Any planned workaround or solution Roshan?
What ? are you sure ? how do I check this on my computer to confirm this ? my Appdata directory is not that big.  the message said 10gb of storage but I don't think we're any where close to that yet. like couple of people here posted it's still under 300mb. not sure if that's accurate tho. mine is about 300mb As vwery clearly stated 25GB is the amount of FREE space available in the computer. The message also states clearly that it is about to download at least 10GB and that more will come (as the blockchain grows) after that. My wallet is also about 300MB. Seems like default message which states how much space will be needed SFR wallet to operate for years. |

Sorry if I am missing something, but I looked at multiple SFR mining pools and it seems mining is halted, is that right, and if so, why?
Also the brilliant SFRpay option with PayPal in the wallet (which I am eager to try!) reports a temporary disabled message. Will it be functional again anytime soon?

I believe that things around SFR will be changed soon. In my opinion Saffron and VIA are one of the best investments. Many ICO's were launched and people are selling like crazy. A lot of good coins are suffering at the moment, but wait until MAT and KnC ship their miners. The price will surely be different.

For any altcoin a trustworthy and active dev is necessity number 1. Being innovative is necessity number 2.

And SFR is DIRTY cheap right now. In my opinion the wallet alone is worth many times the current price. By I see several problems, chief among which is the one evidenced by "Digithusiast" -and which brought me here too-: No one knows of Saffron in altworld, no one. And ther name is one of the least-appealing names possible in crypto also, with the logo being a close follower. It appears that Roshan doesn't want to get the coin promoted because he doesn't want hype... well, not-hype in alts today means death of the coin, as simple as that. If investors hadn't heard of a coin, even if it is the best, it will simply die forgotten in a sea of scandal/scam-ridden It just won't work in the long run. , over populated scene with more and more scarcity of funds to invest. HYPE IS NEEDED. And, in this case, it won't be hype, it would be promotion of a great technical project, a very undervalued one. I have already pointed out the other dangerous direction this coin project is going towards: Decentralization. Specifically a real decentralized market. It is a waste of time and resources... buit I won't repeat myself since I have recently addressed the subject here. If I were Roshan, I would concentrate my efforts in letting people know a) that Saffron exists and b) that is one of the best altcoins and probably the most undervalued of all. We already discussed the lack of marketing with Mohammed. He will be back in 1 or 2 days and something will be done about it. Who is "We" and Mohammed will be "back" from where exactly? I thought he was full time dedicated to Saffron... maybe I was misinformed? I meant that several people pointed the lack of marketing. Every time when price of some coin drops people are looking for reasons. It is clear that Roshan delivers everything that he first promised. At the moment he is not at his home I think and he will be back in 1 or 2 days. It's normal for people to travel from time to time. |
