3501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Deal with worst Market on: February 26, 2020, 11:34:03 PM
Sometime this is very painful when we are expecting a very positive, a very aggressive market but suddenly we see the whole market have crashed and all panic selling start. Here is what we need to do,

  • Sell our Coins and be safe
  • Wait for a little bounce back and exit
  • Let it be and remain Relax

Remember one thing, if the price drops, you don't make any loss as long as you keep holding your coins. The price is dropping, but the number of coins you are holding is not dropping and still the same. So don't just panic when you see the price starting to drop.

1. Sell your coins when you see the price dropping but you you don't want to take any risks at all. You can buy them back when the price reaches the bottom and starts to rise back.

2. What if the "bounce back" never happens? You will be stuck with the coin forever. I would rather suggest holding the coin for long term instead of making an exit without any profit.

3. That is easy to say, but hard to do. Who is going to stay relaxed when the see the investment dropping 10%-15% per day?
3502  Economy / Economics / Re: How to stop the world recession that is soon coming. on: February 26, 2020, 10:57:15 PM
How to stop the world recession that is soon coming.

Recession will not get stopped, but it will get mitigated by printing more money. I am more curious what will happen with next recession around 10 years from now, when there will be so much debt already.
Printing more money is going to be a short term solution. You don't know how badly it is going to affect the whole economy in the long run. Think about the inflation that will take place. A government can't just print money whenever they want. Printing money would cause the supply of money to be very high, thus reducing the value of the fiat currency. Look what happened to Zimbabwe and Venezuela because of them printing money recklessly.
3503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good or bad plan? on: February 26, 2020, 10:48:49 PM
Are we at the bitcoin bottom already? Ethereum falls pretty hard today just because Bitcoin hit 9110$, is this just a correction or the coronavirus at play again? I'm thinking about buying back BTC right now
Lol, this is so hilarious. You guys have to always link current prevailing problems with the drop or rise of bitcoin. How exactly do you guys think this corona virus is causing the price of bitcoin to drop? I remember reading thread few days ago saying that the price of bitcoin was increasing because of corona virus. And now, when it started to drop, all of a sudden people are now blaming corona virus? Isn't there a chance that whales have made enough profit during this run and now wants to take some profit?
3504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Compulsive gambling. on: February 22, 2020, 03:40:56 PM
I suggest that if you feel that you are like that, you may visit some professionals to help you

And how's that supposed to work in practice?

As you say yourself, "compulsive gambling is the uncontrollable eagerness on gambling" (personally, I would say urge or obsession, but it doesn't really matter). If you don't listen to your family and your friends anymore, if you don't care about anyone, what on earth is going to make you listen to some advice here (or elsewhere in the Internet, for that matter)? Just curious
Yeah it is going to work. If you are reading this post and looking for help, then it means that you have realized that gambling is badly affecting your life. This "realization" is your first step to recovery. Because you are willing to quit, you will be looking for help. This means that you will try your best to follow the advises given by the professional. Just because you think you won't listen to them, does not mean that you won't seek help from them. You never know, those professionals might end up helping you getting rid of your addiction.
3505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks are killing us! Fund a pilot project (no ICO) completely in BTC??? on: February 22, 2020, 03:36:57 PM
The bank took a chunk of your money and you probably weren't able to say anything since you were suppose to know about their banking policy. If you didn't know about all these fees, then its your mistake and you are responsible for it. You are using their service and you are supposed to pay them, I don't see anything wrong over here.
I am not aware of any services that allows you to fund a project completely with bitcoin. Also, its quite impossible for you to avoid the bank completely. You will eventually have to use it when working on your project.
3506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For those who wears a signature of gamble service campaigns on: February 22, 2020, 03:04:07 PM
Guys, I think most participants here wears a signature os a campaign, and most of them are for gamble services

My question is: Do you spend the money you gain with the service you are working for?

Sometimes I do some gamble, and I always prefer to spend the money on the website that are paying me, I think it's fair and a way to say thanks  Grin
Lol, why wouldn't they spend their earnings? You are participating on these campaigns to earn and spend what you have earned (you will eventually spend even if you are holding it).
This is totally up to you where you will want to spend it. Not user why you think its "fair" to spend it on their casino. You have worked for them and you have been paid fairly. You both are equal over here. Playing on their casino means you will be giving them back what you have earned from them  Roll Eyes.
3507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finally, i find way into crypto trading on: February 22, 2020, 02:58:29 PM
I have never seen the price of bitcoin fluctuate with a difference of more than $1000 regularly. You either made a typo over here or just making up stories. High fluctuations does happen, but its not common. Even if you did manage to make some profit off it during your first time trading, then just consider this as a beginners luck. You won't be seeing such price fluctuations regularly.
And you are wrong over here, there is a chance of "losing" money when investing on bitcoin unless you plan to hold it forever till your loss negates.
3508  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon to accept bitcoin payments directly... the real breakthrough!? on: February 22, 2020, 02:51:02 PM
Hi All,

I'm new here but I'm not new here if you know what I mean. Everything has come along way from how I remember it six to seven years ago when I first found discovered it. This is my first post so just walk with me on this one. A couple of days ago I had a dream that you could pay for everything on Amazon with bitcoin. Crazy I know... but then I thought wait that isn't that crazy.

So I started doing some research. I found a company which developed a browser extension to support payments on amazon with bitcoins (Not sure if its against the rules to post the company so I wont)... I'm sure there is a demand for it as I've seen the trade volume on a well known p2p exchange using Amazon gift cards. I say all of that to say this, what do you think that would do to the value?

Surely this would be the moment which would solidify mass adoption of the currency?

Just a few crazy thoughts going through my mind... whats your opinion  Huh
We have been hearing that Amazon will be accepting bitcoin "soon", but there has been no update on the news. No way I am going to trust a browser extension to allow me to pay in bitcoin from my wallet. There is no guarantee that the extension developers might go rouge and add some sort of backdoor to the extension.
Yeah they have good volume, but it is kinda risky to buy off amazon cards from random people on the internet. Those might be stolen or bought illegally.
You can always always buy Amazon Giftcards from well known sellers that accepts bitcoin (try Bitrefill if you haven't).
3509  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info Wallet I.D on: February 22, 2020, 02:23:02 PM
Compile all the emails that you had, on an email there is a search bar paste your wallet id and do a research on each email that you compile if any of the emails that you have has that wallet id then that's it you found the wallet where it is associated.
Read what the original post says. He doesn't have access to his email id which he used or doesn't remember which email address it was. He probably has tons o email ids. You are telling him to search his email by pasting his Wallet ID, lol if he know what his wallet ID was, he wouldn't have been suffering from this problem.

To the original poster, I highly doubt you are going to get back your Wallet ID if you don't remember the email address. Have you tried contacting their support? If by any means you can prove them that this wallet address "1A7o8maUg17eouBGuD9vVLJmZEPnprhEFm" belongs to you, there is a chance that they might give you just the wallet ID. You remember the password?
3510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A cryptostar in a galaxy far far away on: February 22, 2020, 02:16:20 PM
-snip-
3.I don't see any correlation between fiat money supply and the exchange rate of the coins. Again, increasing fiat money supply would end up being a disaster. Good luck keep up with the inflation with the increase of sudden money supply.
-- fiat money supply generally increase the total fiat income of the whole planet, and that will raise the exchange rate of cryptocurrency since the buyers are getting more fiat money each year
Actually this thought just came over me when I  saw this a few days back:
-snip-
You probably are not thinking right. The price of Bitcoin/cryptocurrenies might increase, but you "won't" be able to buy "more". The sudden increase of fiat money will cause the aggregate demand to increase (a shit on the right curve takes place) but the amount of "goods" (output) remains the same. This means that more people will be chasing the same amount of goods, thus causing the price of the goods to increase at an abnormal rate. This ultimately means that you won't be able to buy more instead, there is a chance of you being able to buy even less than  before. In the long run its just going to cause inflation.
3511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why we have slow steps about convincing governments to accept bitcoin? on: February 22, 2020, 02:02:24 PM
today I read this shocking news:

Binance is not authorized to operate in malta financial regulator says

This means that the history of Malta being friendly with cryptos is far from being true, that is, we are still walking very slowly in relation to convincing governments to accept bitcoin. I wonder how this story will end?
A country being crypto friendly does not mean that anyone can do anything with crypto currencies. I don't know whats going on with Binance and Malta or the insides stories, but knowing about the stance of Malta on crypto currencies, I am pretty much sure that Binance is probably not meeting some sort of criteria for which the financial regulator of Malta isn't allowing them to operate on their country (though I thought Binance already operates from Malta. So are they operating illegally now?). And didn't they sign off a memorandum with Malta or something?
3512  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading app? on: February 21, 2020, 11:12:15 PM
Just be careful when you are about to choose a "trading app". Not just trading app, any kind of application you might download, bears some risks. I have seen many people suggesting random applications that you can use. Make sure you check their reviews people you download them. Even if you download them officially from a store, this doesn't mean that the app does not contains anything malicious. I have heard google and apple deletes thousands of apps every month because of those apps being "unsafe". Same goes for those random wallets people are suggesting on this thread.
3513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A cryptostar in a galaxy far far away on: February 21, 2020, 11:04:34 PM
The cryptocurrency industry can be regarded as a cryptostar in a galaxy far far away. No man on earth could reach this star in his life time, people can only communicate this star through internet

Each cryptocurrency represent a country on this star. Buying cryptocurrency is like buying land of each country

Why would people on earth to buy lands in a star far far away?
1. it is delivered right away and you have full control and ownership once you have the key
2. the star is far away from earth thus secure from earth violence
3. the limited supply ensures its exchange rate will rise against forever-increaseing fiat money supply

I get it what you are trying to say, but did you even think a bit before writing/posting this over here? Weird comparison but yeah.. Ok.

1. True, you get your coins right away and have full ownership as long as only you control the key, but once you lose the key, there is no way you are going to get back your precious "lands" (read coins).
2. If I am not wrong, you are talking about crypto currencies right? Like you are comparing bitcoin with a star? Your second point kinda makes no sense at all.
3.I don't see any correlation between fiat money supply and the exchange rate of the coins. Again, increasing fiat money supply would end up being a disaster. Good luck keep up with the inflation with the increase of sudden money supply.
3514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not FOMO on newly listed altcoins on Binance on: February 21, 2020, 10:56:10 PM
Recently there have been a craze and buy rush for any coin new listed on Binance but usually turns to a nightmare for those who FOMO too early. $MBL which was listed today because they won vote for community coin dumped from 59 sats to 30 sats within some minutes. This was the case with LTO too. My little advise to traders, (especially newbie traders) is to analyze properly before diving into buying a newly listed coin on Binance especially and other exchanges with such hype. Even if you must do, use tight SL and moreover there is no point chasing a moving train.
Never heard of $MBL coin. Probably another useless coin maybe (not here to judge, just saying). I have never voted for any coin. How does this voting system actually work? If voting does not have some sort of fee, wouldn't it be possible by the developers to send shill accounts or pay users to vote for them?
If it is really true that $MBL has rewarded users that have voted for them, then yeah, the dump was inevitable. Users that have voted from them probably dumps their reward to get some quick BTC.
3515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't be a hypocrite and admit that you are a gambler on: February 21, 2020, 10:47:03 PM
Everything in life seems to be a gamble,

What you have discussed is really like a gamble, but you know what, this is not actually considered or even connected with gambling. This is about our own survival, and not about some kind of risking something and expect an easy return.

Gambling is an activity that you have something to risk(more like money), without any guarantee of return and your chances to win is unknown. What you have discussed is about something that every people normally do in life. It is part of our life which is not be considered as gambling but more on survival.
Gambling means to take a risk where the probable outcome might be good or bad. How is OP gambling by making this post? Makes no sense at all. What the OP said over here isn't wrong at all. What ever you have done starting from your childhood was all based on gambling.
You are saying its all about "survival" but not gambling. According to you gambling means taking "risks", right? Then survival automatically means gambling according to your definition because to survive you take various risks on every seconds of your life. You will have to go to work to earn money and survive. You will be risking your life on your way to your work. What if you get hit by a car on your way?
3516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you share at least one gambler who have become rich in gambling? on: February 21, 2020, 09:34:31 PM
Since we believe that there are people who become rich in gambling or they are making a living in gambling

Can you please share at least one person who made that, and please put some proof.
Lol, so you don't think there are people out there who became rich gambling? From time to time I see people winning lotteries and getting rich real quick. I have also heard stories of those people spending lavishly and ends up being broke again. It is really weird that you haven't come across any news where people got quite lucky and rich over night. You might consider visiting different casinos and check the stats of top users who made profit. You will be surprised.
3517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among us here has been addicted but successfully cured addiction? on: February 21, 2020, 08:42:54 PM
I read that there are people who are addicted in gambling but they are successfully cured from addiction, I'm interested to know what are the methods they do in order to get cured from such addiction, I use the word cured because gambling is a serious problem, I call it as a disease, so please share you experience so we can also help those who might have been experiencing an addiction right now.
I wouldn't call gambling addiction a form of a disease. Instead, it is better defined as a mental disorder that can be fixed by getting help and controlling one's self. There are different reddit boards out there where people shares their success and failure to get rid of addiction. You can also ask questions (if you use reddit you will know that different people from time to time creates an AMA thread) from them and how they managed to get rid of their addiction. They will gladly help you.
3518  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: February 21, 2020, 05:22:04 PM
This question is always on my mind since then until now. I want to know the opinion of everyone here on this platform. I know that we have all different perception about gambling, so I respect what will be your point of view about that.

But to share my opinion, I consider gambling as a threat to gamblers. Yes, there are a lot of people who find happiness in gambling if and only if they can control their selves from this, but no matter how fun can gambling gives to you, the problem is still there, the addiction on it is always there, it grows day by day. There are so many disadvantages of being so addicted in gambling, one of which is forgetting your priority, spending your time to your family and your friend, you won't be able to more productive things than losing money, to the point that even you already lose and don't have enough money to play, you will make ways, there are times that you will ask a request to your friend to give you money as debt. You should be the one who controls the gamble and don't let the gamble control you.
Any kind of addiction is harmful for you. Its like you can enjoy drinking and have fun but when you start alcohol abusing, it becomes a "threat". It starts to interfere with your life and you will usually start to suffer. The same thing goes for gambling, as long as you are in control and do not become addicted to it, its just all fun. But when gambling addiction hits in, it becomes a threat to your life since you will start suffering badly in the long run.
3519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Leave gambling, if it destroys you. on: February 20, 2020, 10:51:14 PM
Really hard to understand what you have written over here. Some of your words contradicts with each other. Did you use some sort of translator to make this post, because if you did, then yeah, it messed it all up. Or is it just language barrier?
Anyway, I got what you are trying to say over here. But, trust me, it is more hard to execute what you have written over here. You can easily make a list and tell people what to do in order to quit gambling, but its not easy for the gambler.
One should not hesitate to take help from professionals if gambling is causing serious problem in their life.
3520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Illegal gambling in Asian football increased partly because of crypto? on: February 20, 2020, 10:45:54 PM
Not sure according to the article if those Asian countries are actually happy and glad that because of crypto currencies, match fixing on sports have reduced steeply and are grateful to crypto currencies or they are really frustrated and annoyed by crypto currencies due to "illegal gambling" activities. Really sad that they are blaming it all on crypto currencies. But yeah, its somewhat true that crypto currencies have made things like these easier to commit, but this doesn't means that crypto currencies are all bad and we should stop using them. Even before crypto currencies existed, people used to commit illegal activities with fiat currencies, but we are still using it!
