3501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 28, 2021, 01:09:11 AM
Itally won against USA in Davis cup which was sort of expected but Sinner destroyed Isner 6:2 6:0. I don't think Isner lost the match with just 2 games by his name ever. Even against players like Djokovic he almost always managed to get 3 or 4 games per set on board. I guess he is out of form but still Sinner must have played some incredible returns yesterday since Isner serve is a force to respect.

I wasn't able to watch the game as well.

But basing on the score, it's either Sinner play perfect on this match that Isner has no answer or Isner was really out of shape that he just goes on the motion of the game. And just imagine if you have to bet on the second set to love.

Rublev vs Quiroz of Ecuador now, for sure Rublev is going to win this match for Russia. 1.05 odds for Rublev, Lol, better be go on the under 1.85.
Medvedev is the one who had it really easy winning 6-2 6-0, and speaking of Rublev and Medvedev, Russia has some good players right now, in those couple years we saw Khachanov, Rublev, Karatsev and the beat out of them right now Medvedev, Russia always brings amazing athletes to a lot of sports, and tennis is apparently one them.

Historically, Russia has always had a good tennis player and they usually play in Davis cup because obviously they wanted to represent their nation.

And with the names you mentioned, they are either in the top 10 or at least in top 20 so Russia will be a formidable team in this year Davis Cup. So don't be surprised if they goes to the final.
3502  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 27, 2021, 11:47:15 PM
Because Lopez really knew that Loma isn't like the average fighter that he faced before, he also knew that he just luckily won by a small gap in score.
Maybe Lopez thinks that why would he fight Loma again (lame excuse), I defeat him already. We'll see it next year, chances that there will be a Loma vs Lopez 2 if Loma can eventually get this match in his favor.
Some argue that Lomachenko was injured during that fight and as such they believe that if he was healthy he would have beaten Lopez that day, however we need to give credit to Lopez he gave a good fight, which is why he won that day, what I do not understand is why there was no rematch clause, if that had been in place we would not have this issue of Lopez not wanting to give Lomachenko another chance to fight him, did Lomachenko thought he was going to win and he did not needed one? Because if that is the case then now he is paying the price for that arrogance.

It could be the reason why fighters doesn't want to give rematch clause, because they think that they are going to win against their tough opponent, like in this case Loma vs Lopez. So Loma might not have sign the rematch clause back then, if he would have known that he will get a shoulder injury then maybe there will be one.

Or Lopez himself was so confident in this fight that he also doesn't want any rematch clause after he beat Loma. But either way, we as boxing fans wanted to see a second fight, just to scratch our curiosity of what if Loma is healthy that time.
3503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Ioka Dec 31 on: November 27, 2021, 11:10:43 PM
@bisdak40 - maybe it's time for Ancajas to sign with Probelleum, don't you think? So that he will get exposure as Sean Gibbons is having a hard time securing a fight for all this Filipino boxers.

From what I saw on the personality of Ancajas, I don't think that he will jump ship. Sean Gibbons should reward Anjacas for his loyalty with at least two fights next year with big names on the opposing side but first, he has to beat Ioka first.

This is unification, not a walk in the park for both fighters so we can expect this to be an exciting bout. Donnie Nietes beat Ioka via SD and we knew how tough Nietes is so this must be a close fight also.

I'm not sure how long have been Ancajas is with the MP promotions, but yeah been seeing videos of him about Manny Pacquiao so he must be a die fan Pacquiao admirer so he might not switch sides and will stay with his promotional company unless there is really a bad fall out between Jerwin and Sean Gibbons.

The thing though with Sean as I have said is that is not well know personality in boxing and I'm not sure how Manny get his services and for sure he has been paying good money to carry this company. So the success really depends on Sean here.
3504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 100xcoin boom on: November 27, 2021, 10:39:07 PM
This is an important thing to be able to get 100x profit, I have profited up to 100x from some coins like HEX and SHIBA, the most important thing to get 100x profit is to be patient to wait and don't panic, as long as the team looks convincing then choosing a project that has 100x potential is easy .
it would be very nice if we can analyze like that and can buy at a low price to rise to 100x. to see this is not easy, it is proven that there are still many people who react when the fomo occurs so that many of them experience panic selling as is the case today with shiba coins. so many sad stories and most of them are people who have not been able to understand the cryptocurrency market

Coins that rose this much? There's no analyze needed, it's just pure pump and dump scheme being run by some people behind. It's not that there is fundamental reasons for the price to go up massively, there is none.

And since this is pump and dump, expect that once investors have enough profit and there are a lot of them getting into the picture, sooner or later this groups are going to dump them hard and take the profits.
3505  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is recovering on: November 27, 2021, 06:57:38 AM
Well that was quick. Looking at the $53K area if you look at the daily, this is an important support area. I honestly didn’t think it would come close to getting tested but I guess due to the close correlation with stock indices it caused tons of panic and we are pretty close to testing that area.

I don’t like the funding at the moment, seems very long leverage. Usually when this happens it doesn’t end Well. So hopefully $53K doesn’t break, if it does, remember to use stops.
From the $53k region the price have once again moved forward. The market correction isn't over, and it could test the $50k mark by the upcoming fall. Right now the market correction is associated with the black friday as well as the new mutant of virus found on South Africa. Maybe if things didn't happen positive the market could move sideways.

I think $50k will be a good test for us, I mean that price is really low that investors might think to pour their money again and somewhat the price could bounce back.

Yeah, I'm reading about the new variant of the virus, but hopefully the news will not trigger another sell-off. We've seen the effects of Covid-19 already and it seems that we are able to cope with it for a long time. So if ever there will be an effect, it could be on the short term only.

Craig Tiley, the head of the Australian Open called out Novak Djokovic and seemingly attempted to goad him into getting vaccinated against COVID-19 by saying the tennis star "will not want to miss" his shot at a record 21st Grand Slam.
Yeah, he has a good record in AO so it's really necessary for him to get the jab so that he can compete and probably have a good chance to win next year. I guess it's the right decision for him.

Is that him saying he'll get vaccinated though, or just the Australian Open people desperately trying to convince him to do it, because they want him to play there?
TBH given his personality and the way he is often so outspoken on these things, I would actually be quite surprised if he got the vaccine. Of course he will have a good chance of winning the Australian Open if he competes there, and achieving the record, but it's not like he won't be the favourite at every other slam as well.
Who knows what he will get if anything. I would not be surprised if he can get a confirmation that he is vaccinated even if he does not do it. He is very popular person in Serbia and I am sure somebody would take care of that for him. Not implying that he will do it that way but I am sure it has been done already and will be done in future as well with some prominet figures which are opponents of vaccinations for personal reasons.

Yes, that's possible, and we really don't know if he will really get the full vaccine or not. Or maybe the AO organizers are going to give him a free pass for all we know.

And we all know that he doesn't want to miss the Australian Open as he will be gunning for the record. And the organizers as well doesn't want to lose the top seed and the main draw in their tournament. So I will just speculate that there could be colluding behind and let Djokovic get a free pass without actually taking the jab.
3507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - November 27 on: November 27, 2021, 05:00:56 AM
Here is the weigh-in:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IN1GMPCEHVc

Again, both of them made the limit so there's no problem.

And again, another heated argument, but for me this is done to hype the fight because this is almost a year in the making. I have Lopez here by knock out.  Grin. Best of luck to those who are going to bet and take a risk.

this is true, this is like a year-long in the making so they should not disappoint their fans here. and give a very good toe-to-toe fight inside the ring. a lot are guessing this will not go the distance.
they are not yet done with their arguments huh! maybe after the fight one will keep his lips sealed. let's see who will be silent after this.

They need to hype the fight with all the delays some people are fed up with the delays, Lopez has a lot of plans after this fight, he thinks that this is an easy fight for him, I'm sure Kambosos is well motivated to win the fight because of Lopez attitude, both fighters love to engage I don't see this fight ending in a decision, let's see how it will turn out after a year of delays.

After all the controversies, finally, we are going to see this one happening on the weekend. Lopez will try to impress the boxing community by knocking out Kambosos but on the other hand, George will also try to make a name for himself by beating Lopez, an interesting/exciting fight we have in the weekend  Smiley.

I have the fight going the distance and threw a few dollars for Kambosos to win by decision.

@coin-investor, hope you can post a facebook livestream link for this fight.

Yup, at least this weekend, we will get to see another great and exciting match as others have said, this have been delayed many times, but finally, we will have to see them square in the ring.

And Lopez says that there will be no handshake, or at least he is making this fight personal because of all the trash talking they have for almost a year now.

Looking also for some free livestream link if available for us boxing fans.
3508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are they doing this? on: November 26, 2021, 10:54:24 PM
As I have said before, they are using 4Chan to create the hype for their project. And it seems 4Chan has a lot of crypto users just waiting for the next hype to ride and make money out of it.

Here is the thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5277820.0

And so this method is very effective for new projects and before you knew it, they've raised so much money in days that you can't really believed how this guys are doing. But as others have pointed out, there's no secret sauce.
3509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata December 29 on: November 26, 2021, 10:10:32 PM
I am not saying that he will forget how to fight but that he could come a little bit rusty and against a fighter like GGG that can be more than enough to secure him a win.

Regardless of Murata is active or not within the past 2 years, I already pointed out his experience is lacking compared to GGG. Murata's total fight was 16 against Canelo's 43 with almost a clean record, the gap was too wide. Murata just also consider to bout with GGG because he filled the vacant slot that was left by Canelo as we know the latter is moving up a weight class. Again as I previously mentioned, Murata got the full WBA Super Middleweight champion not by fighting for it. The fight against GGG is his first fight since attaining that title.

Right, and the level of opposition of GGG as compare to Murata is very diferent. GGG has far fight superior level of boxers, while I would say that Murata only B-level fighters. And add that to his ring rust and inactivity for 2 years and we will see that GGG has all the advantage. The only thing that has on Murata is that he is fighting on a familiar territory, because this fight will be in Japan.
3510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If the internet is down in the future on: November 26, 2021, 07:14:20 AM
Is there any crypto project that can transacts without the internet? I heard there was one two years ago I couldn't remember the name again but why isn't such project doing so well today? If the internet goes down in future this type of project will be useful don't you think?

As far as Bitcoin goes? yes there is: [Total privacy Bitcoin]: off grid Transactions LoRaWan/goTenna.

But as far as altcoin, I'm not really sure, maybe I just didn't heard any, but for sure this has been looked upon my many devs already and maybe someone can share it. Or it could be in experiment phase already, or have been implemented.

In any case though, the only thing that I would surmise that the internet will go down is a WW, so I doubt that it will ever happen again in human history.
3511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 26, 2021, 04:40:27 AM
Still, it's a very interesting fight to watch as this is his ticket on fighting Inoue, so he has to win this to bring some hype and continue making trash talk on Inoue until they'll finally sign a contract.

Correct. That fight is a ticker for Casimero to challenge Inoue. If the former won't be able to beat that guy, he should not waste his time now crying to have a fight with Inoue. Inoue's camp won't entertain Casimero anymore if he doesn't beat Butler which is behind Inoue's skill.

No need to go easy on Butler. It's the fight he needs to win or else no Inoue next.

And that's why Casimero need to win convincingly here and demolished Butler just like his previous opponents so that the hype train will continue to run and then the talks with Inoue will still in the table for Casimero next year.

So for me he needs to knockout Butler, regain the belt and then call out Inoue.

And then the pressure will be on Inoue's side now whether to accept it or not. Still depends on Bob Arum though, as we all know that he protects his cash cow.
3512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 26, 2021, 04:07:55 AM
The Davis Cup will take place tomorrow after being postponed the previous year, Spain as defending champions will be without Nadal who has announced the end this year in August due to injury.

Yeah, but Spain will have the young and upcoming Alcaraz to carry them. Spain will start against Ecuador so I think they can win this one. They also have Carreno-Busta  and Albert Vinolas so still a solid team for them.
Can't wait for Davis cup, still not used to new rules but it should mean we have fast matches and a lot of drama. Alcaraz should be good for Spain but he is still not Nadal, and has almost no experience but that is somewhat easier to overcame when you have your captain on the bench with you.

Rooting for my Croatia and we should be going trough as long as Cilic can beat opponents 2nd player. We have best doubles in the world with Mektić/Pavić and no second player to speak of. So it should come down to Cilic results. Good thing he found some semblances of form towards the end of the season.

I think this will really be a big test for Alcaraz, yes he is not Nadal, but he is touted to be the next one so we will see. Regular tournaments and Davis Cup are very different matches, and as you have said, there is a lot of drama in here.

Yeah, Croatia is still a very good team, Cilic has been playing above lately and he just peak in this Davis Cup. I'm not familiar with doubles though, but Mektić/Pavić are sho-in.

As far as Djokovic getting the vaccine jab? Nah, I don't think so, I remember that he is against it and then he contacted the virus. But he didn't get any of it but just decided to be quarantine.
3513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Ioka Dec 31 on: November 25, 2021, 10:34:38 PM
Both are champions, Ancajas the more experienced as he has defended his belt many times. But then again, we known the history between Japanese fighters and Filipinos, they have a history so. this will be close match for me.

Yeah, the Penalosa brothers (Dodie and Jerry) comes to my mind when seeing Filipinos and Japanese war inside the ring.

And Ancajas didn't look good at his last fight against Rodriguez so hopefully he will bounce back with a solid performance here.

But he still won and defended his title. Maybe it was due to the pandemic or inactivity and ring rust, but the good thing is that he was able to overwhelm Rodriguez late. But against the Japanese, he shouldn't have mental lapses early and should attack him and not give Ioka his comfort zone in this fight.
3514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Ioka Dec 31 on: November 25, 2021, 02:51:11 PM
Ioka is made for Ancajas style, Ancajas is a counter puncher with a lot of variation of punches, he loves to slug it out and loves his opponent to always makes a move and move forward, I checked Ioka's loss to Nietes and he needs to improve on his style if he is going to face a technical fighter like Ancajas, I have Ancajas winning here by a decision or even by knock out in the later rounds.

Yes, I think, it seems that this is a good stylistic match up between the two and I see Ancajas winning this fight maybe by knock out. Ioka might be very aggressive, but Jerwin has the counter and has power in both hands. So it will be slug fest as Ioka wanted to impress his Japanese fans too.

So same as what you see, Ancajas by knock out of decision in a war.

@bisdak40 - maybe it's time for Ancajas to sign with Probelleum, don't you think? So that he will get exposure as Sean Gibbons is having a hard time securing a fight for all this Filipino boxers.

Hi
Anyone may know how to take back the  unreasoonable Transaction Fee?
https://etherscan.io/tx/0x53d99384d7e1526ab19b4ab41f52c296b4acf25dddef41ffc4825d8dab76d1f8.
It take me 0.7 eth for the transaction. Is it reasonable?

I don't think there's a way to take it back, sorry to burst the bubble for you.

You should have check the fees first before you make any transactions. And I'm just wondering why you don't know that fees now are very high and not reasonable. You should at least wait first till everything settles down. In any case though, and hopefully, you learn your hard and very expensive lessons for doing any eth transaction.

Hopefully it will live up to the expectations his Saturday night.
3517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 25, 2021, 04:49:06 AM

Following the decision of the Australian authorities that unvaccinated tennis players cannot play at the Australia GS, it seems to me that Djokovic will most likely not play in Australia, given that his negative attitude towards vaccination is well known.
Due to such an attitude, Djokovic could very quickly lose his first place in the tennis rankings, but also lose the opportunity to win a record 21 GS in his career and achieve tennis immortality.
Medvedev and Zverev are getting better and more experienced tennis players every day and Djokovic, Nadal and Federer are getting older and more injured, and their chances of winning the new GS are decreasing day by day.

While I am not a fan of Djokovic, I think the chances are pretty high that he will reach the record of most GS in his career. He is only 34 years so he has still some years left (same for Nadal also). The young generation is coming up strong (Zverev, Medvedev, Thiem, Tsitsipas,...) and they have proven that they can win against Djokovic but I don't think they are able to dominate all the time.

He only need one win right to become the winningest player in tennis history. I think he still have some in his tank to stop this young generation from creeping in his number one ranking.

I think he can still win 1-2 in his career or more, not unless he really suddenly gets old overtime which I doubt because you can see that there is still that competitive fire burning inside of him. And as long as he still on the circuit, it might take some time for the young players to beat him.

Ilunga Makabu has told Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez he is making a big mistake moving up to cruiserweight and insists he will ‘100 per cent’ knock the Mexican superstar out.
Source: Ilunga Makabu vows he will knockout Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez as Mexican will give away TWO STONE in cruiserweight title fight

You know, I didn't expect Canelo to "give away" 20 lbs (no FAT CANELO lol) and I'm not sure he still has powerful punches since cruiserweight boxers maybe all punch as hard as him. But if you believe this really happened, then, who knows!?
“I believe in my power and my skills" says Makabu and this is going be a big challenge. He himself have prepared for it. He has understood that the match is 50-50 challenge which shows he has well studied about Canelo. He mentioned this fight is going to be a history. He consider it the most difficult challenge of his carrier. His confidence keeps boosting.

Well that's what everyone says before they fight Canelo, that they are going to be an upset and that the fight is 50-50. But then again, Canelo put up a show and either TKO/KO his opponents very easily.

I know that Canelo will be stepping up the plate here with a huge jump in weight class, but I know that his team knows what they are up to against Makabu and the chances of Canelo to win is very big. Maybe a couple of rounds and then Canelo will adjust.
3519  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 24, 2021, 04:36:00 AM
Let's wait for the betting odds to be available as betting on the ML for Loma does not make sense unless you have huge capital.

If you are looking for attractive odds, betting on KO in a specific range of rounds would be the answer, mostly, the round ranges are per 3 rounds, you just have to make a good guess and put your money, or bet on Loma winning by decision, maybe that is higher than the 1.15 odds.

I don't chase high odds as it increases the risk of losing. I try not to take risks, so it is more important for me to increase my deposit a little than to take a risk and lose a part of my deposit in case of losing.

Calculate how much the probability of winning decreases when betting on one of the ranges of rounds and if you are satisfied with such risks, then place this bet.

Well if that's your technique, I have nothing against it, every bettor just has a different technique in calculating the risk. A bettor like me loves to take a high risk with a low bet, that way I don't feel so much affected when I lose and I will have a lot of fun if I win. In the end, we all make a guess because no one can predict the right outcome all the time.

I think you are not the only one who loves to bet on the underdog or at least take big risk in this fight. A ML won give us anything, unless you really have a deep pocket and bet on Loma with that small odds.

But majority will think otherwise, will look for high risk low bet reward and it's much more fulfilling if you are going to hit that huge odds. And even if we lose, if just a small bet anyways so we can live with it and gamble on the next boxing match.
3520  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next stop $85K for Bitcoin on: November 24, 2021, 03:56:01 AM
At the rate at which Bitcoin is growing in speed and popularity, Bitcoin must be 100 by the end of this year Will pass. Many experts say that Bitcoin will be recognized as the number one popular currency in the world in the next 10 years.
Isn't bitcoin already popular? I think that your statement would be valid if this was around 2010 but it's almost 12 years now and I don't think that bitcoin isn't popular already. Although I do think that your claim has a possibility but the only problem is that this month isn't a good day for crypto but hopefully by December we get to see that.

Perhaps he was referring to the price, maybe his logic is that it should be $100,000 or close to it by this month. But since we are not even around that price, it is not 'popular'.

Yeah, if and only if we have a good run this month just like in October, we might see the price around $80,000 and then moving in December to where everyone is expecting it to, a 6 digit price at the end of the year.
