Sorry, you got it wrong. These are not all one person accounts.  My account name: suparigach.  I am new to this thread.  However, I know the rules of Bitcointalk fairly well.  And I know what merit is.  I live in Bangladesh and I saw from Bangla thread that merit is given to newcomers here.  So I did the post.

If you "know the rules fairly well" you'd know quoting a whole post is kinda against the spirit if not the rules of the forum.  Time will tell if I'm right or not.
3522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2020 US Presidential Election | Trump vs Biden on: September 30, 2020, 03:13:28 AM
50% of the 1.3 Million postal votes already returned are from registered Democrats wile just 18% are from Republicans.

More than 63 Million postal vote forms have already been requested (which is more than the number that voted for Trump IIRC).

Just on those numbers I would say Biden is likely to win the election.
3523  Other / Archival / Re: [Merit] Hey Newbies! Can You Sign A Message? on: September 30, 2020, 02:51:25 AM
I also would hate to have to set an age bar to keep people from signing up multiple accounts just to claim some merit from this thread.

Just on this page the UID's who used the following:

Code:
Version: Bitcoin-qt (1.0)

Registration Date:1/27/2020 2:08:48 PM (Active 1 hours ago)  -     Light onuoha

Registration Date:9/1/2020 2:52:44 PM (Active 18 hours ago)  -     suparigach

I might be the only one who can see it - hopefully you can too.
3524  Other / Meta / Re: red trust being posted to a supposed alt that is supposedly ban avoiding on: September 29, 2020, 04:56:24 AM
I want to ask - what is the repercussions for red flagging a supposed alt for "ban evasion" if the supposed primary account is not actually banned?

What is the proof the two accounts you link to were banned?  BPIP sheds no light on that subject.  Neither has given the other merits, nore has either DT trusted the other.

This link by @anonymousminer is inconclusive in connecting Bla2kja2k to alamjob239 as "proof" (especially as the original post was deleted Nuked and there isn't any archives of the quote)

However,

The closest to linking two of the three accounts is via their alts active via BPIP:  (see below for acemax https://bpip.org/Profile?id=2760726 inclusion)

Registration Date:10/1/2019 3:44:12 AM (Active 233 days ago)  - alamjob239
Registration Date:2/2/2020 10:15:23 PM (Active 237 days ago)  - Bla2kja2k

then again:

2/2/2020 10:00:10 PM    password reset via email  - alamjob239
2/4/2020 8:59:06 PM    Changed to Archived status    Nuke user  - Bla2kja2k

2/12/2020 12:37:20 PM    password reset via email  - alamjob239
2/12/2020 1:03:20 PM    password reset via email  - Bla2kja2k
Registration Date:2/13/2020 9:26:27 PM (Active 221 days ago)   - acemax

2/19/2020 7:10:31 PM    password reset via email  - Bla2kja2k
2/19/2020 7:14:34 PM    password reset via email  - alamjob239
2/20/2020 8:56:55 PM    Changed to Archived status    Autoban user  - acemax

The carpet photos link alamjob239 to Rainbowsky whilst the activity times and dates link alamjob239 to the nuked user Bla2kja2k.

So... maybe these three are alts after-all.  If that's true, then it is ban evasion (if a mod wasn't just out on a Nuke Spree TM that happens from time to time)  Roll Eyes

*edit*

There is also a suggestion that the banned user acemax u=2760726 is also an alt of alamjob239 (with no real proof offered on their trust feedback page) however, their registration date / last active date also fits the above pattern:

... and what prey-tell do your tea leaves tell you about the domain suchmoon.com or the twitter handle suchmoon?  IIRC Both were registered *before* the UID with the same name was registered here.

And when was timelord2067.com registered?

Hardly a "gotcha" moment, here's why:  ( ...and like I said to quickseller a very long time ago, let me know when you're in Brisbane next)

Can you stay the fuck out of feeding the doxing trolls? Rhetorical question of course.

Well... I did say to you only a couple of weeks ago if you say something silly, I in turn get to say something silly.

In any event, here is where you first offered to "help" me work through what you perceive to be errors in my trust feedback:

LINK Archive [1a], [1b]

It's out in the open - one of your posts.  There are a couple of other posts... From there we PM'ed about it for a little while.  (don't forget to read my reply just one post later)

Then you "forgot" about it (you probably had more pressing matters to deal with such as brawling with OgNasty on a few pages earlier.  (Is there anyone you haven't brawled with in the last couple of years??)).  No doubt you also "forgot" you deleted the corresponding PM's.  Eh?

You really need to just pull your head in.

3530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US 2020 Elections data, polls and bets on: September 27, 2020, 11:45:49 PM
I heard on the radio just this morning the President Trump will likely challenge any returns via the courts (especially postal votes etc) so the battle after the battle is yet to begin as I doubt there will be a clear majority of voters choosing one candidate over the other in less that 40 days.

I wonder what will happen to your bet if the result takes weeks/months to be decided, or is never decided (with someone else becoming president) ? Since Trump is already saying he might not accept the result...

It's mandated in the US Constitution that the new President *must* be sworn in at noon on the given day for the smooth transition of power to occur (unles it's a formality re-election)
3531  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Zap wallet on: September 27, 2020, 11:22:23 PM
Did you try the seed in electrum now that they support lightening?

I'll give it some thought.  I used Zap because it's "out of the box" and doesn't require much in the way of tweaking the back end.

...

I was responding to a suggestion by @nc50lc.

I might see if I can read up on the docs and see if there's anything they can suggest.

Thanks everyone.
3532  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Zap wallet on: September 27, 2020, 01:49:02 AM
Can you connect to the LND node that the zap wallet is working with?
You could then use
Code:
lncli abandonchannel
to drop it from pending.
Make sure you have backed it up fully before doing this.
You might also want to open an issue on github.

Are you using Zap desktop or mobile?

-Dave

Zap 0.7.2 beta desktop.  (presumably the program updates as the toggle is set to yes)  There's no text box to give commands, otherwise I would be able to tryout
Code:
lncli abandonchannel
- can't find a config directory or any files in said directory e2e.js / storybook.js etc.

Blue wallet rejects the 24 word key, so I'm stumped where to go from here.

We would love to hear your story too, bro.
You should have been the first one to answer but better late than never, right?

Agreed - I can't think of any specific questions to ask, but perhaps now really is the time for @zasad@ to step up to the microphone.  Cool
3534  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Zap wallet on: September 26, 2020, 01:32:30 PM
How long has it been since you sent the original TX?

A while.   Undecided

Quote
How large a fee was used?

"Slow"

Quote
Odd, that the TX is no longer around unless it was sent a while ago.

Essentially, there's no way to find the RAW information even though I have the TX of the transaction to create a channel.

Quote
Has this setup ever worked in opening a channel before? (If no could be other issues)

Yes, prior to this issue I had over ten channels open.

Quote
You should probably just open another channel at this point.

I thought the same, except that's how I ended up with five channels that are "pending open".

Is there any way I can "zap wallet" in a Zap Wallet?
3535  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Zap wallet on: September 26, 2020, 10:32:37 AM
How do I rebroadcast TX for channel creations?  I've got five of them that don't show up on the block-chain.
If you have the TXID(s) of the funding transaction(s), you can use https://chainquery.com/bitcoin-cli/getrawtransaction and paste them there,
or Bitcoin Core with -txindex to use the same command as the link.
You'll get the RAW transaction (in HEX) that you can use to re-broadcast using various tools like: https://blockstream.info/tx/push.

IDK if it's okay to rebroadcast an "open channel transaction" that wasn't broadcast in the first place though.

It would seem too much time has elapsed since the Zap TX occurred:

Code:
{
    "result": null,
    "error": {
        "code": -5,
        "message": "No such mempool or blockchain transaction. Use gettransaction for wallet transactions."
    },
    "id": null
}

Also, I've never been able to get my core to accept the -txindex having put it before, after and also instead of a TX.
