It's a fucking shame that the other half of the CLAM holders/services are to stupid to stake their coins.
Your not kidding.

After using the site for the past few days and observing some of its drama, it's clear that steemit and steem are just plain screwed no matter what.
Care to elaborate? I can't imagine ever being interested enough to spend significant time on the site, so am genuinely curious as to what you experienced there. I didn't notice any of this either.

This relates to claiming CLAM as well. Instructions for safely splitting your BCH from your BTC
Here are general split instructions. If your wallet software gives different instructions, use those instead.
These are the best instructions I could come up with quickly. Maybe someone will eventually come up with a more convenient way of doing it. Note that while I believe these instructions to be safe and reasonable, you are solely responsible for your safety here.
1. Decide whether you want to bother splitting your coins at all. Is it actually worthwhile to remove your coins from cold storage (or whatever)? If you take no particular action and continue using Bitcoin as normal, then your BCH is likely (but not guaranteed) to remain associated with the current private keys due to BCH's pseudo-replay-protection; you could therefore maybe claim your BCH later on if you want. If you want to claim your BCH now, continue to the next steps. 2. Create a totally new logical wallet with a new mnemonic, etc. Just creating new addresses is not sufficient: the new wallet needs to be completely separate from the old one. The new wallet's private keys should be under your personal control just in case your transaction is replayed or something else goes wrong. Make sure you have backups of the new wallet. 3. Send all of the BTC in your old wallet to your new wallet, and wait until this transaction has 30 confirmations. (If you are really itching to get your BCH, it would not be totally crazy to wait for as few as 3 confirmations, but there is some risk with that.) Note that sending all of your BTC in a single transaction is likely to be harmful to your privacy; if you care about this, you might want to send it in several smaller transactions to several different addresses on the new wallet. 4. On a separate computer that you wouldn't too much mind being compromised, install a BCash wallet such as one of the ones listed on bitcoincash.org. (Warning: some Bcash wallets are known to overwrite important files belonging to their Bitcoin counterparts.) Or use a Web-based exchange/wallet supporting Bcash. Import the private keys from your old, now-empty Bitcoin wallet into this Bcash wallet. Now you have BCH which you can handle as you wish. Note that BCH transactions may be very slow to confirm for a couple of days.

Well, they announced that we users of freebitco. In would be able to withdraw our BCH and (if they have any value) to convert them into BTC in our balance. Conversion from BCH to BTC depends on the BCH's value.
Apparently, there's some value to this free money from Ver and co. I didn't withdraw my freebitco balance earnings of... about 100k satoshi so i should expect to convert BCC into 15k satoshi or more. Hooray for me. Congrats!

Can anyone please explain the steps to recover BCH from Blockchain.info wallets? I have the private key (in text format) and the 12 word backup phrase with me, but don't know how to use them.
You will need to export the addresses.

We are currently building a Bitcoin Cash option at FreeBitcoins.com. There is already a similar feature on our site for something called Clamcoin.
|
|
|
FreeBitcoins.com will have a service that allows users to easily cash in on their Bitcoin Cash. This service will be very much like the "dig" service we already offer and will most likely be built on top of the service already offered. More updates coming soon ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

cant access the faucet its says "that wallet is not qualify" this is my btc wallet by the way 3LFXiVa64QAuL2NcKqrL7dsTdRvzn2kT8q
You have to get a CLAMcoin wallet. You can get one at justdice or one of the exchanges that allows you to trade CLAMs. You cannot use your Bitcoin Address. Please do not use Poloniex addresses ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Just-Dice.com is the online wallet that I strongly suggest.

|
|
There are delays on payments for digs at the moment due to Poloniex getting pwned by our faucet.
All payments have been processed. Thanks I'll look at your account tomorrow (post above me).

why Eos token is disable?
when exactly get back to shapeshift?
All Shapeshift basically does is take your coins and trades on Poloniex. If Poloniex goes down then Shapeshift does as well, but Shapeshift does a better job crediting deposits and such... (In other words Shapeshift does all the fucking with shithole Poloniex for you.) If Poloniex takes something offline... Shapeshift goes too.

The poloniex CLAM wallet appears to be back up
Working for me as well.

|
Dooglus, how long do we wait before we leave negative trust here on Bitcointalk would you say?
Perhaps they would at least respond?
|
|
|
I clicked around on Poloniex this morning and found that 13 of their 64 altcoin wallets (that's 20.3% of them) are showing that same message.
These are currently down: BCN BTM BURST GNO GNT LSK NXC REP RIC SBD SC STEEM XVC
Yesterday LTC was also showing the same message but today it isn't, so I guess they're working on stuff.
This is why I want an exchange on Just-dice or FreeBitcoins... at least we would know what the fuck is going on. Still no word on anything from my front ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif)

Free bitcoins is always good. If I sell the shitcoin right away the chance to buy cheap bitcoins is greater.
Thinking about making an option on FreeBitcoins.com so that people can claim and dump their BCC easily. We already do that for other altcoins.
|
|
|
CLAM did this really well for Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin. You can cash in those coins similar to this at FreeBitcoins.com. I'm thinking about having FreeBitcoins have a way for people to claim their BCC as well easiy... if it is doable.
