This is something I can get behind

I hope I never have to change my wallets, that would be catastrophic

We're working on a new wallet format (have been forever, but so many priorities have popped up since then).  After that release, new wallets will be BIP32 compatible, but will not work with older versions of Armory.  However, we plan to have a migrate feature to import the old wallet chains into the new wallet format so that you can continue to use old wallets with the new version.

But must we migrate? Redoing my backups will suck.

Just re-released 0.92 as 0.92.1.

Do I understand correctly that upgrading from 0.91 would require upgrading the offline wallets too?  If that is the case, please put a warning on the website, upgrading the offline Armory may be significant work depending on the setup.  I for one plan to wait till the dust has settled.  I know that no new changes are expected in the communication protocol, but there will probably be many bug fixes.

Is this right? Please confirm.

If you mean transferring offline transactions it's fine. The multi Sig stuff does keep changing though

Where do you get the coins to pay everyone if that actually happened? If bitcoin suffers a catastrophic crash and most of your users decide to cash out how can you cover that?

Your Bitcoin is already sold, they shut down and give you the cash. It's very simply. I really hope this isn't convoluted like your theories. They should have full fiat and gold reserves, there is no risk.

B-b-b-But... I thaught volatility was what made bitcoin popular to investors. The possibility it gives for good earning in a short period of time make it what it is to some extent.

Bitcoin has many uses, a payment rail is one of the top ones. Someone working at McDonald's saving for a shitpad can't afford any volatility before sending to newegg.

Maybe I'm dumb but why do you guys make it so complicated with futures etc? I hope that's not the case. I really hope the Bitcoin is just sold for cash or gold with audited statements.

This service is critical for people who want to use Bitcoin as a payment rail and not a volatile investment. It's like a universal PayPal with a balance then send it anywhere. Its what I thought circle was doing.

Is another pool possible? Cant connect to altpool again.

What problem are you having? Can you see the pool website, or is the issue connecting to stratum?

I am connected now. I was not able to connect, loading the page was not a problem and there were 7-8 people mining. I had your pool set and 3 others as failovers and it would skip your pool, then I removed the failovers and nothing. The .bat file was not a problem because I am connected with the same one. Maybe a temporary ip ban or something but I cant see why that would be the case, I do not set a low dif. Thanks for the pool and all good for now.

I think he did some dns changes your isp may have cached. Try using opendns its much better for all websites.
