3521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holder's dilemma on: January 07, 2018, 01:43:37 PM
Hey guys, I've decided to ask you - what whould you do in this problemmatic situation?

Suppose you have some bitcoins (let's say 22) and you bought them / got them a few years ago very cheap, and now you see it's price and.... what to do?!! Will you take the profit and go away, or sit and hold further? Suppose you're not going to buy more. But when to sell?
See if someone having 22 btc have earned profits enough to him and need financial resources than he should sell at this moment but if everything is all right and he is not getting panic at current then he should definitely hodl because the prices are really going to surge but it need only patience so stay calm and relax.
3522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: In what coin/token would you invest if you had to start now with $5000? on: January 06, 2018, 03:45:49 PM
Hi to all and a Happy new year! May that 2018 bring you 50x!

As I joined the crypto movement last summer (August 2017) and managed to have a 4x on my portfolio till now, I saw a lot of changes and raises in the market.
Hearing about how a did a handful of my friends want to invest now.
I knew what to advise them back in...let's say September 2017, but now the market is a totally new beast and I'm puzzled.
So, that's why I'm asking you - "In what would you invest if you had $5000 right now?"

Thank you in advance for all your answers.
Seriously talking if i had to start or if i was in your place i would diversify my portfolio and invest in different coins whatever the amount is because this reduces risk and greater profits. This strategy is successful in every feild whether crypto or stock. The choice would be like this:
1.Bitcoin-40%
2.ETH-25%
3.LTC-25%
4.Others-10%
So this would be my preffered list.
3523  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin for $1 Million !!! In ten years? on: January 06, 2018, 02:59:25 PM
Chart from 2014, when Bitcoin was $300, predicted price of $10k for today — Nov 22nd, 2017.

We're at $8,200.  (If we add Bitcoin Cash and Gold prices, we'll get close to $10k).

Next milestone on chart: $100k in summer 2021.   And next: $1M in 2027.

See we are talking about btc growth after ten years and its difficult to predict or say impoisible because we cant exactly say what could happen even after ten days so only price speculations can be done.At current the prices have reached $15000 and if all the problems are solved and mire buyers and investors gain interest in these year over btc it can definitely reached that milestone as it has potential to grow past growth tells us the same thing. So we can only wait for the time to come.
3524  Economy / Economics / Re: 2017 Was Bitcoin's Year. 2018 Will Be ....... on: January 06, 2018, 02:44:18 PM
Bitcoin with it's high fees and slow transaction times is hardly suitable for payments – spending the same fee whether you buy a coffee or send $100,000 is a joke and the promise of scaling solutions such as the Lightning Network hasn’t been fulfilled.[1]

While there's no shortage of old and new believers to keep the party going, along with plenty of developers working to create better, forked versions of bitcoin, I’m betting my chips on a more flexible alternative.
The door is wide open for blockchains that use smart contracts, like ethereum,
[2] bitcoincash, litecoin and more......

2018 Will Be ....... Year’s? [Writer choose ethereum, what will be your choice?and why?]

Many have predicted that 2018 is going to be a great year for altcoins as it can be seen already. Many coins like ripple,LTC,TRON,ETH have crossed every limits and are on fire whreas btc growth seems a little slow and stable but the fact is that btc will grow with great potential and boost upto new levels. When everything is under control prices are going to surge more so this year will bring great oppurtunities both for altcoins and btc hodler.Hope for the best.
3525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade without losses on: January 05, 2018, 04:29:59 PM
Capitalization is one of the fundamental issues that significantly affect the trader's survival in this field or not, as well as the ratios of profits received and losses incurred, which may be doubled due to the lack of wise management of capital, whether large or medium
As everyone knows that trading is a trade there is a possibility of profit and loss.
Deleting from the capital first is the reduction of risks, in addition to achieving the greatest gains and theoretically as a simple definition is the risk or the transaction by a percentage of capital in return for the biggest profit in the sense of starting from the background of I risked a small amount of money in order to make another profit.
This is to capitalize in a professional way, especially in a volatile market such as the digital currency market.
- It has nothing to do with the capital of the analysis, whatever its kind - technical - basic - digital because I will not only win a good capital appreciation and then enter my deals randomly on the belief that I will win and this is wrong,
- Stop loss and the best ratios as I always say is 4%. Returning to the previous point you will find that if your technical, technical and basic studies are good, you will find that the stop loss has been done and after the evaluation, which is better to be monthly for the deals you will find that 70 % Of transactions were often successful when we were studying a particular currency and for example setting a point of entry, especially on the basis of data available to you, the market will often follow your expectations and as a stop loss ratio,
There is, of course, a difference in capital inflow between small cap capital ($ 100- $ 2000), medium (2001- $ 15k) and large ($$$$$)
But what brings together all is that I do not put all the eggs in one basket, that is to leave any transaction with any capital even if my analysis indicates high rates that this currency will rise and I will stop the loss It would be good if you are a newbie and a small capital to take the amount Which started with a tax for learning, but a large adventure may blow the capital of my capital and divide my capital into three parts of the Scalping any quick deals with a stop loss less than 4 percent to keep the capital for as long as possible in which I try and implement all the strategies that I had previously learned and part of the storage in the short term from two to two months as I kept on W Emergency and surprises may occur and the need to strengthen the former My Position
For medium people, I recommend starting the distribution of capital on several platforms and working centrally on storage strategies with a stop loss rate of 6% to 10% and up to 15% which we will talk to in the next few days, God willing, but the deals of Scalping must be entered in high percentages of the part Which is allocated to it more than the past, especially after gaining experience + reduction of the stop loss so as not to lose a lot and in return I try to profit more than that to increase profit margin almost content and more important to provide part of the profits of another profitable project is mining.
As for the owners of the capital, the big money (people know the job ) and I do not think they need my humble advice
This seems illogical as trading is only profits and losses as you can gain when market is up and vice-versa so loss is a part of trading. You cant turn it down but you can reduce your loss risk by making good plans and strategies.Even big businessmen suffer this but recover them with good plans. So erode this thought and gain experience and move on with profits.
3526  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2018 predictions on: January 05, 2018, 03:37:57 PM
Crypto is at another rally. I heard that 2018 will be the GTFO year where BTC will hit 20-50k, maybe? Or some McAfee levels... Who knows. And then it crashes and will be low for quite some time. But what if the crypto will be just calmer. Go a little bit up, then down and stay on pretty much the same levels. What if there will be no bubble. Or what if the bubble already burst. Opinions?
Crypto era has already started by the end of december as altcoins are surging with huge pumps and gaining huge market cap like LTC,XRP, TRON have risen with 2500-3000% which is not an ordinary surge so we can make predictions that this year is going to be great for altcoins and btc is also rising and will reach to the level you speculated so have faith and stay calm.
3527  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin rise up to 1M? on: January 05, 2018, 03:07:45 PM
i think bitcoin will rise again,up to 1M in december hahaha, because last year bitcoin rised to 1M in december.
The prices are ofcourse going to rise in coming days and this price seems somewhat achievable because btc have potential and past growth have shown us what it is capable of.Many beleive altcoins will rise now not btc and it will crash but they also know it is not possible as competition with bitcoin at current is not possible. So wait for the price to reach there.
3528  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin reach 40k at the end of 2018? on: January 04, 2018, 03:33:27 PM

Bitcoin could be at $40,000 at the end of 2018. It easily could," Michael Novogratz says on CNBC's "Fast Money
Ethereum, which I think just touched $500 or is getting close, could be triple where it is as well," adds Novogratz, formerly a macro hedge fund manager at Fortress Investment Group.
Yes it can reach that landmark by this year as it can be easily reached because btc has potential to reach such levels.Predictions are diffucult to make in such feild but $40k seems achievable so lets wait and watch this happen.
3529  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the end for bitcoins ? on: January 04, 2018, 03:17:36 PM
Very recently I read an article , which assumed bitcoins to be exactly like the Dutch tulip mania , the Mississippi bubble and the south sea bubble.

The author of that article (which was published in the economic times ) said it's now time to move away from bitcoins , the market has ended and the sooner you forfeit the lesser will be your loss.

What do you guys think about it ?

Many renowned financial experts have made this statement earlier of the bubble being burst.Btc has always being surrounded by the negativity with its continous growth but all these news in my opinion are not accurate because people cannot stop its growth so they spread negativity just to put obstacles in btc growth. We should not blindly follow these news but do our own research and after that set our mindsets.
3530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is ripple going to overtake bitcoin ? on: January 04, 2018, 03:01:55 PM
Those days ripple is doing really well, it has more than half of bitcoin market cap and has 19% market dominance.
I hate ripple as a cryptocurrency as it's centralized, now seems that ripple is the queen, not ethereum.

That really is making me upset but I want to hear your thoughts.
The ripple is really doing well and capturing investors interest but crossing btc is not possible rather it seems funny. Many altcoins pump with same boost but this is all a temporary one whereas bitcoin price boost is forever so dont comapre this to such a currency. It is also a centeralized currency which make it less profitable and less growth so be practical man.
3531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should i invest in ETH or Ripple? on: January 03, 2018, 04:12:28 PM
recently ripple reached 1 usd and is predicted to go upto 5 usd by the end of next month.
while eth has rose 100usd in the past week and is being quite stable.
ethereum though not as accepted as bitcoin but still can be used unlike ripple.
so my question is whether i should invest in eth or ripple given i may need to take out my money back any time.
In my opinion ETH still remains the best choice if you are long term hodler as it pumps on regualar basis while pumping in XRP is temperorary and after that it will fall and profit is on short term basis. The ETH with much more potential tends to rise more in future and reach approximately $1500 by year end so its the best choice if compared with ripple.Choice is yours.
3532  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall again soon? on: January 03, 2018, 03:57:52 PM
I sold some at 10,900 hoping it will fall again to rebuy in the 9000's as I purchased some around 10,300... Do you guys think another temporary slump will happen soon? Or cut my losses and rebuy now at over 11k?
The correction has over now and the prices are becoming stable and stands at $11500 and now it dont seems any correction soon so better give up this idea of the prices to go below $10k instead buy now as the prices are going to increase in jan and reach almost $25000 by end.The graphs now point upwards movement and trend will continue in future also so be patient man.
3533  Economy / Economics / Re: 2018 will be “The Year of the Cryptocurrency Craze”!!!! on: January 03, 2018, 03:40:54 PM
according to Scott Rosenberg.

So well, what is going to happen in 2018???
Bitcoin boom is in the spotlights as well as wars...

2018 will be “the year of the cryptocurrency craze”!!!!
Yes as the time is passing the crypto fever is getting high on people's mind and in coming time the market cap is going to increase of cryptocurrencies in generel. The prices are going to surge even more and new milestones will be achieved.Btc will cross $40k and other coins also will increase and mass adoption will be done so get ready to witness crypto era.The time is near.
3534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which cryptocurrency is best to buy today? on: January 03, 2018, 03:33:13 PM
please anyone guide me.I want to buy cryptocurrency.
If you really have surplus money and want to invest in crypto i would suggest to go with best coin that is bitcoin but if you lack that amount eth and litecoin are other best coins comparitavely low in price with huge returns.Ripple is also increasing so you can choose it also and prices are going to increase in few months.Rest your choice.
3535  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it a good time to start buying bitcoins? on: January 02, 2018, 12:50:49 PM
Im a newbie both in this forum and the cryptocurrency subject, so I had been reading a lot and studying in the last couple weeks. But I still have some doubts. I always see people saying that there is a bubble in the bitcoin market and that there are many people who own big ammounts of bitcoins and can manipulate the market, so i dont know if now its a good time for a person who doesnt own any bitcoins yet to start buying then (i planned to hold them for a long time, not trading beetwenn exchanges) or if i should wait more. I also see fear about corrections and dont know well how those work and if they have an specific time to happen. Anyway, sorry for my bad english and thank you for the replies, even though I know im te only one responsable for my money.
Everytime people repeat this thing i mean they ask that whether to buy at this time or not. They always doubt investing and on the other side the prices keep on increasing pushing away the obstacles in the way.You need to keep in mind that you can always invest in this line if you are risk bearer and long term hodler and at grab the oppurtunity without any delay becuase in future the prices are going to boost and at that time you maybe not able to invest so go get into this feild and enjoy its benefits.
3536  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin going up on: January 02, 2018, 12:26:40 PM
Hey guys,

Will bitcoin go up even more than what it is now?

Since its going up, does that mean people are buying more or selling more?

Thanks
Yes now the prices are rising after correction and becoming stable and now they are going to increase and stop at some point which is unpredictable.See its nature of bitcoin to rise and fall which is why it is called volatile. As now demand and investment in btc is increasing it is giving boost to total market cap of btc and prices are surging once again. The exact reason cannot be said behind its nature but still it will rise now so stay calm and enjoy.
3537  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: January 02, 2018, 12:12:48 PM
A lot of people now days jumping and investing in the cryptocurrency industry.
If you are not investing in crypto, where do you else invest?
Property ? normal crowdfunding? give your input
A large investment oppurtunities are available if you look properly.I have divided my portfolio into various segments like crypto, real estate, fashion industry as it is not seasonal.Investing in these push you into a situation of profits and loss risk reduces. But i prefer to invest more in crypto market yet there is more risk but returns are immense if the coin grows good in market.Others are just a source of normal income.Vast opportunities are available if you want to invest.
3538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your New Year Resolutions for Bitcoin in 2018? on: January 02, 2018, 11:56:18 AM
We are one day away from 2018. What is your New Year Resolutions for Bitcoin in 2018?

Will you decide to invest more or finally cash out or will you change your investment strategy to spend more and hoard less?

Let's share our New Year Resolutions for Bitcoin and how we will contribute to the success of this experiment in 2018.

Bye Bye 2017 ^smile^ ////// Welcome 2018!!!!!
The resoultion for this year should be realistic.I mean i want to earn and hodl as many possible and convert almost 45% them into fiat and store other into offline wallet and sell at profits. If possible i would go with investing some of my savings into btc and increase my capital.Strategy may differ a little noticing fluctations.
3539  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins Next Stop $50,000 on: January 01, 2018, 01:06:21 PM
See at current the price is $12000 and the market situation is not good and it looks like price manipulation to create pump and dump in market but as soon as everything comes under control the prices are going to boost without any stoppage and reach new milestones and the price which you have mentioned that is $50k will be definitely achieved by next year.Speculations are that it can cross $70000 but we cant say anything surely in this risky and volatile coin but hope for the same.
3540  Economy / Economics / Re: what benefits you've got from bitcoin in 2017 on: January 01, 2018, 12:52:21 PM
year is almost changed, what have you got from bitcoin this year (2017), I personally benefited a lot from this crypto currency, I am an unemployed because in my country difficult to get a job, I really helped by the bitcoin, I can give a little money to my parents and it makes me happy to help the family economy Smiley , and my hope in the next year I hope to be better in doing all the tasks and hope to be able to work in the real world, what about you? and what motivation mu for the year to come?
If we talk about prices they surged like anything else and able me to make profits upto 200times than my investment and help me to recover my losses and incurr my regular expenses easily.I also buy gaming stuff and upgraded my computer technology. But on the other side at last week the correction was huge than expectation so this was a trouble for some but greatfully i sold all of them. The transaction fees still remain a issue yet to be solved but overall it was a great year for all the hodlers.
