3521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IPL 2021: Entry free discussion and participants drafts on: March 06, 2021, 09:09:19 AM
Thanks for your input guys! Let more people involve in this before finding a sweet point of the entry price.

LTC should be provided as a payment method due to the rising fees related to BTC and ETH currently.
I think we will let everyone to use low transaction fees. I would suggest not to go with more than 5 sat/B. We will not be in hurry to get the coins confirmed as we will have long days to wait.

It's hassle to convert atls however maybe I will consider LTC too, but I need to check if I have an available option to convert the total to bitcoin.

PS: Please feel free to bring any sponsor for the pool if you know anyone is looking for advertisement.
3522  Economy / Gambling / Re: "The Maharaja of Bitcointalk" Sports Bettors/Tipster Competition 🏆Free entry🏆 on: March 06, 2021, 09:05:08 AM
No Problem mate, if you need any help with those, do let me know. Good luck with your tournaments as well Smiley
I am looking for sponsorship for the pool. I still have not knocked the people I know because of not having much time to spend on the forum. However if you can find a good deal then please let me know.

It's off-topic to discuss here. Feel free to make a post on the pool topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5321161.0

Cheers,
3523  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit scam!! merge cases on: March 06, 2021, 09:00:08 AM
The accusations are adding up, this is because they have an ongoing advertising campaign on advertising networks and they are letting this scam gambling site, without doing research on the status of the sites that applied to their network, all they cared about are money that will come in even if it's coming from a scam gambling site, this should end those who got scam should file a complaint in court and on those advertising network.
Before depositing a large amount of money if anyone does not do much research about a bookie then none of us can do much. I have seen 1Xbet to advertise in big football events like English Premier League (if I am not wrong). This means they have enough cash flow to spend huge amount of money in advertising. A forum like us is not enough for them to stop.

It only possible if many people take them to the court and take legal action.
3524  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: most amazing picture I have ever seen on: March 06, 2021, 08:45:33 AM
Two of them I do even I know that I should not do that.

- Emotional trading
- Lack of care in extreme condition

I do not have much ALTs but only very few of those I am okay to lose. So I do not care much about them. But I noticed when I feel like to sell I convince myself that this is the right time to sell. I do anything to divert my mind that yes THIS IS the right time. But when I sell in the next few hours or day the price of the coin goes even over 100%. :-D
3525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think are the most promising long term coins on Coinbase right now? on: March 05, 2021, 03:56:54 PM
MKR, XLM, ATOM, XTZ, ZEC, ALGO, KNC, COMP, BAND, YFI, UNI, REN, BAL, FIL, AAVE, GRT, BNT, SNX

Out of those which do you think have legitimately the best chance at long term high adoption and therefore price explosion?
You mean to say that Coinbase Pro do not have Bitcoin? :-P

Anyway, not a financial advisor but I will always go with Bitcoin. Consider this:

All other coins are pumping or dumping based on the USD price of Bitcoin. When bitcoin pumps they pump parallelly in some cases slower than bitcoin and when bitcoin dumps they dump exponentially.
3526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The cost of the world's financial systems on: March 05, 2021, 10:25:27 AM
The statistic (not sure about your source) is telling all!
It's the mainstream media wants to make News and without putting spice they can not sell their articles. There are also Facebook and other social media experts (self-proclaimed celebs and experts with very little knowledge about the actual crypto industry but pretends that they are everything for bitcoin and crypto) who likes to create valueless contents to earn from the advertisements. Average Joe who do not have any knowledge about the world ecosystem takes it guaranteed that they are telling everything from authentic research.

FUD spreads.

It's good to some extent though :-D
3527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 5k to invest, should I buy Ripple or Litecoin? I do not want to hold on: March 05, 2021, 10:19:54 AM
Stay away from XRP (Ripple) crap. It's not even cryptocurrency. It's a centralized manipulated coin. If you want to go with BCH and BSV crap then good luck but I do not think many people will recommend it.

Bitcoin maybe having a roller coaster ride. Let it stable a bit then invest in it. Investing in bitcoin will be the safest for you. And if you have no knowledge and experience about trading then do not buy any altcoin. It's a gamble in this case.
3528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle (3,350.00 BTC's ) on: March 05, 2021, 10:02:00 AM
When did I say I have the private key? Where did I say I have the private key for the address: 1FvUkW8thcqG6HP7gAvAjcR52fR7CYodBx
So, you mean to say all the bitcoin those are publicly known in addresses are at risk of being stolen? That's not how bitcoin works. Yes there are chances to have your private key to get compromise only if you lack the knowledge of protecting your private key. There is also chances to have the same private key to more than one person, but the possibility is very near to zero. The current most powerful computer is not able to solve it with the technology we have.

You are wasting time of yours and other users. Better lock the topic and move on.

I am out of this drama.
3529  Economy / Gambling / Re: "The Maharaja of Bitcointalk" Sports Bettors/Tipster Competition 🏆Free entry🏆 on: March 05, 2021, 09:56:21 AM
Thanks for invitation @vennali. Unfortunately these days I am too busy with some projects and do not even get time to make a few necessary posts on the forum. If you know, I am managing few events here like IPL pool, Covid-19 art contest etc, but barely I am having time to manage them.

Anyway, good luck buddy. It's a nice initiative to make a small circle to hang out. Good luck to the participants too.

It would be great if you are able to sign a message using this address. Use current date in the message like "Today is 03/03/2021 and I (bytcoin) own this address".

If you can't then most possibly you are wasting everyone's time here.
3531  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit scam!! merge cases on: March 03, 2021, 08:27:49 AM
The forum has done a lot against 1Xbit, 1Xbet and their sister sites. If you browse their profiles then you will see all red tagged and in the forum we can not do more than that.
Check these profiles:

If anyone wants to take them to the court then this will be something new.
3532  Economy / Reputation / Re: account hacked please banned permanently on: March 02, 2021, 03:02:05 PM
These 3 accounts are involved in hacking, please get banned permanently.
Do you have any evidence that support your claim? Randomly claiming something will not be considered as serious. If you have solid evidence then some DT may consider tagging the accounts, but I do not see anything will be done to ban them permanently.
3533  Economy / Reputation / Re: TecShare - Farewell my friend. on: March 02, 2021, 02:37:02 PM
RIP TECSHARE. I was browsing the reputation board after a long day and was not ready to spot this topic. First I had to disbelieve but after reading few replies it was obvious that TECSHARE is no more.

My condolence to the family and close friends. It's such an affair that you disappear and never get the time to say goodbye. I hope no one in the forum will keep the hurt feeling against him and forgive his departed soul. Zepher, Phinnaeus Gage and now TECSHARE are few names in the recent time who will live in the memory.

Thanks OP (MudDev) for posting the topic, and thanks theymos for the custom title, I hope the account is locked.
3534  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where will someone who has no knowledge of bitcoin start from to learn? on: March 02, 2021, 02:02:14 PM
I need help
You are in the right place. This forum will be your best resource, but the problem is information are all over the forum and you will need to spend time to find that you need. You can also ask questions in the different boards like mining related in mining section, technology related things in Bitcoin technical support, wallet related things are in Development & Technical Discussion.

All you need is to give regular time on the forum if you are seriously considering gathering good knowledge about bitcoin. At-least you will not be misguided if you know who to listen.

Reserved!
3536  Economy / Gambling discussion / IPL 2021: Entry free discussion [End], Joining OPEN on: March 02, 2021, 01:53:48 PM

After a missive hit (the last IPL), here we are again!
In the last IPL the prize pot was 0.09525399 BTC which was $1,698.77 at the time when I sent the prize to the winners. BTC is skyrocketing and in today's price  0.09525399 BTC is more or less $4,654! I wish the price was less so that we could have more sats :-D

IPL 2021 has been scheduled from 11 April 2021 which means we have 5 weeks in hand and in this five weeks we will need to find participants, sponsors and finalize everything before I unlock the main thread. But first we need to find a fair entry prize and need to see how many users are interested to join the pool. I will keep this topic open for a week. Let's promote this topic in different topic (cricket related).

It will be easier for me to talk to the sponsors when there will be many interested users to join the pool. So I would request the regulars to give little efforts to help us to manage at least 20 participants.
3537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 21 million is it just a pointless number and nothing to do with scarcity? on: March 02, 2021, 01:24:49 PM
I wont complain if he wants to pay me a buck a sat now.
Add my sats too then. I will PM you the amount I have :-D
/s

Oh yeah, I will be giving 20% commission of the total sell, so you are going to make more.
3538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 21 million is it just a pointless number and nothing to do with scarcity? on: March 01, 2021, 07:57:42 PM
I watch videos and read websites about Bitcoin and they mention the 21 million limit to make it sound very scarce. But since there are 100 million Satoshi in a Bitcoin it doesn't seem scarce to me.

I mean if it was 2.1 million Bitcoin and 1000 million Satoshi or 210 million Bitcoin and 10 million Satoshi it changes the scarcity push.

There are 2,100,000,000,000,000 Satoshi, so if 100 Satoshi (or in tradition money standards 100 pennies), that would mean 21,000,000,000,000.00 Bitcoin. 21 Trillion Bitcoin doesn't sound so scarce now does it...
Not sure if you are complaining or compliment. The best feature that bitcoin has is its decentralization and limited supply.

Not at all and I will sell you as many as I can for a buck a piece.  Deal?

But right now 2,100,000,000,000,000 Satosh = $48,000 which means you are asking too much. Maybe after a few decades OP will gladly accept it :-D
