Bitcoin has successfully beaten gold and diamond in the race of being the most profitable investments right now. Even the real estate is going to be get beaten by this amazing currency. Gold is very stable in price and this is the reason why people are leaving it and switching to bitcoin. if now the bitcoin can compete with the gold price, because every time the bitcoin always rises, and we never know it. so the world of competition is always tight, and we can not expect it. Bitcoin gold will not reach the value like bitcoin, bitcoin has been in rise its value and still existing. Bitcoin is the best and it cannot beat by bitcoin gold due to bitcoin has many users and growing its adoptation. The amount of users could quickly change if there was an incentive, which currently there is none. |

Its great season for those who had kept BTC on HOLD. See today's price  well its really a good thing happen to those who keep their coins on hold especially if they have it a year or two ago, the value already jumped so high and its a good long term investment very profitable and for sure it will not end here, it will keeps rising up that no one knows how big it can be just enjoy riding with it. HODL bitcoin for good, it is not about being greed but being more optimistic for the future of bitcoin. Don't listen to what people say negative about bitcoin today, the future matters most. Depends on what they choose to believe in. Just blindly hodling only Bitcoin is not a very good idea. |

Would have been much better off just leaving everything in bitcoin. Altcoins suck.
I bet you dont feel so bad now, when everything is up. Me personally, most of my funds now are in BTC, i got sick of trying to play short term, got burned few times and now decided that it is better to go with safer BTC, which surely is going to at least 10lk and just wait. It's still a good idea to diversify, which it seems you are doing. Just find altcoins that are actually going to provide value in the real world and you can pretty much blindly hodl them. |

Bubble or not, bitcoin can reach $100,000 soon and I don't care about on what year or how many years does it need to take just to reach that amount. And it sounds and looks good when the price reaches at $100,000 for about 5 years. What I'm thinking is on how John McAfee will eat his d on national television if the price never gets into $500,000 for 3 years. I don't think he will eat anything. His prediction was merely an observation of exponential trends, which could lead to a price of $500,000 in 3 years easily. The only relevant question to that prediction is how long the exponential growth will continue. I don't know if he's serious or being sarcastic when he said that. I'm only worried and interested of bitcoin price get up to $500,000. Predictions are speculations that has basis and sometimes doesn't have. Anyone has a freedom of doing it so and I think he's really exaggerated on that thing. Well if that will happen and he's actually right to his prediction, we are all rich people man. I don't think his estimate is an exaggeration at all. There are numerous reasonable methods of prediction that suggest higher prices, but they don't account for many factors. The predictions was just uncertain although there were time probables will come to a situations that it might be true. Speculations, rumors and other undesired statements will divert every persons mind over the current scenario which bitcoin value in effect to rumors about bubble. I think price becames high only if there's demand rising and not for that any reasons of manipulations which made it a so called bubble. That is right but i think investors now are too much mature, In fact every person know about the potential of bitcoin, even it is expected that the price will continue increasing for a long time. The reason behind the increasing trend of bitcoin is the increasing demand which is in fact reduce the supply and so the price continue to increase. I think now it has become difficult to manipulate the price of bitcoin. I strongly disagree with that assertion, most investors now are still just as much kids throwing their parents credit card around as back then. If anything, traders (there are almost no investors in crypto right now) are becoming less and less mature, as they are blinded by the potential profits. |

I think teleport would have invented in 100 years  and many jobs would be filled by "ai" instead of human I think that's too early for teleportation, at least of humans or objects. Transportation will be so quick that we'll be able to have lunch on the northpole and dinner on the southpole though, so that'll be good enough for starters. And AI will definitely make most human jobs redundant, hopefully all. I don't understand why people make a fuzz over losing jobs to AI instead of being happy that a world in which nobody has to work is feasible in the near future. |

No you shouldn't choose BCash. It's nothing more but a scam run by lying, manipulating shady scumbags that don't care about Bitcoin at all. Yeah never pick bitcoin cash to put your money in. It's very risky and it is only a hype fork. That's the whole story for bitcoin cash. Artifical pumps waves are done to make traders confused. I would say ripple as the answer. While i would say SHIFT is a bit risky but with higher possible profits - XRP for sure is a safe bet in 2017. It is already and official known, that there are several not yet announced other partners (nda) and so some very good news coming up. I would imagine that those news are already priced in given the prominence of XRP. |

Yeah 500k is bit much value to be achieved in three years but in 5 to 6 year this may be possible because still there are a lot of region who are not aware of the blessing of this coin and many people on planet are still wanting to get knowledge about btc to start earning in this coin more advertisement is required to get the maximum investor concern into btc and then this price will be easy to get, it is possible to achieve. its x60, many altcoins did it this year, maybe we can do it in 3 years (x6x5x2 or similar) Altcoins that went x60 usually had very low market caps, which made it much easier for them to catch up to the top 100 cryptos and thus increase by so much in a short time. |

To be realistic not a single alt can be matched bitcoin in price, only one option can be done for alt to be more popular then bitcoin. But this is also hard to be accomplished if we look in long term. For bitcoin gold think it will be less valued then bitcoin cash and also it will be less popular then bitcoin cash. Maybe for long term can be consider good option but there are some better coin for that purpose.
That's not really true. It will take some time but unless Bitcoin stabilizes around trillions of dollars, there will eventually be an altcoin that will be worth more than Bitcoin. It's just a matter of time before the first altcoin reaches a value in the $100 to $500 billion range and beyond. A portfolio of alts (similar to an ETF) could even be worth trillions. Granted this will take 5-10 years or longer, but it will most likely happen. You think that some alt can be better in price from bitcoin dont think it will be like that. Maybe they will be popular but in price not single one will manage to get close to bitcoin many tried and fail and so it will be for many years to come. Who cares how many coins tried to surpass Bitcoin by now? The crypto market is still in its infancy. One day Bitcoin will disappear from the top for one reason or another, it's just a matter of time. It will probably take decades, but it will happen. |

Ethereum was never a bubble. We saw it coming. Ethereum is the best alt coin around in many aspects. We use it a lot on daily basis while making trades etc. I am sure most of the people who underestimated ethereum back then are regretting now.

No one in their right mind will dump their bitcoins and just move to bitcoin cash. BCH is just a result of Jihan Wu and others to try to discredit bitcoin. It's good for people who got these coins for free, but to invest in it is not really a good idea.
some peeps actually dump their bitcoins just to invest on bitcoincash , knowing that bitcoincash has pumped hard and they think it will continue to rose just like bitcoin did though bitcoincash is indeed a good coin which has some advantages compared to some other coins. yet bitcoin is not dead and wont be dead , infact it is already booming again reaching its new all time high. Based on how much the price dropped quite a lot of people dumped their BTC for BCash, but they most likely lost their money to Jihan and his goons in the process. Time will tell if they learned their lesson or if they will give their money away to liars again. |
