3521  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any VCC provider that doesnt require KYC? on: March 17, 2022, 11:11:43 PM
Currently, only one site that I know can provide VCC without KYC and it was discussed here many times but I do not see someone here using it except for YouTuber's reviews.

Anyway, here's the website https://paywithmoon.com/
You can try it with a small amount but take note this paywithmoon does not work on Amazon according to them and their Twitter account seems still active.
3522  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 4.2.0 strange dll errors on: March 17, 2022, 11:00:01 PM
It seems that they do not support windows 7 as of now so you can't able to use the latest version of Electrum.
And it seems there is a new pull request they are going to add the latest python version.

Your only option if you stay want to use Electrum then use the older version just like what I said above or try to contact or raise your issue on the Electrum Github page.
Or your last hope upgrades your OS to at least Windows 8 or 10.
3523  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Just lost 0.05709292 BTC on Slushpool... on: March 17, 2022, 10:47:52 PM
So the unknown device that accesses your account is using a Samsung device? A mobile phone?
And added a Hardware authentication?

What exactly do you see on U2F on the settings it should have the name of the hardware device. I never heard of any U2F fido that supports mobile except only one hardware device through NFC.

The bad thing here is if you own that account why you didn't add 2FA authentication? That's the bad practice to protect your account and actually, that is the basic thing to do to protect your account.
And I think you won't be able to add hardware authentication without Email access unless the hacker also has access to your Email and password?

I think no one here can help you better bring your issue directly with slushpool support help@slushpool.com or contact us.
3524  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 1166 pro power problem on: March 17, 2022, 04:35:31 PM
I don't think the link on the GitHub wiki that you referring to is the right error code description. It's for Avalon 8 units so it might be different on 1166 pro.

According to their troubleshooting manuals for PS or Power State, this should be the description below.
Code:
The meaning of items 1-6
is as follows:
Item 1: Error code. Normal
is 0. Other values
indicate power failure or
output short circuit.
Item 2: Voltage supplied
to the control board.
Normal is 12xx.
Item 3: The voltage
supplied to the hash board
(HASH board) is normally
between 1200 and 1400
(unit 10mV).
Item 4: The current output
by the power supply to the
hash board, which is
specifically related to
the output power and
voltage.
Item 5: The output power
from the power supply to
the hash board. For 104x
models, the normal value
is between 1800-2500 (in
W).
Item 6: The expected
the output voltage from the
power supply to the hash
board. This voltage is
configured by the control
board.
If the six parameters of
the power PS field is all
0, the control board
cannot communicate with
the power
.

The first part of your ps show abnormal so your PSU issue might have a short circuit or your PSU is failing.

What I would like you to try is to replug all PSU cables and ribbon cables then try again. Also try remove 2 hashboard and run only 1 hashboard then check the logs for changes.
3525  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: T17 soc init failed on: March 17, 2022, 04:00:56 PM
So you need to detach the lost heat sink and use super glue to fix it properly.

There is no super glue that you can use to reattached the ASIC heatsink I'm sure it will burn and lose right away after ASIC chips get hot.

You need a proper glue or adhesive that can withstand high temperature like arctic silver.
3526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: NEED HELP WITH 2010 WALLET.DAT FILE on: March 16, 2022, 11:53:55 PM
I REMEMBER THAT I DIDNT KNOW how to put a password , so no password
when i look with hex i find wallet.dat but no address and nothing looks like a wallet

Since you said above that you can see any hex code that looks like a wallet then maybe your wallet.dat is encrypted with a password.

Why not try to extract the wallet.dat file from your hex tool and then try to install Bitcoin and import the wallet let it sync it for a while or use the pywallet from jackjackjj as suggested above and then use the dump command to export the private keys. Make sure you have python installed.

Here's the command:

Code:
python pywallet.py --dumpwallet --datadir=. > wallet.txt

3527  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 4.2.0 strange dll errors on: March 16, 2022, 11:35:29 PM
Try the suggested above by installing the latest version of python but if it still does not work I suggest you raise your problem directly on their Github page so that they can release a new version that supports Windows 7 or a patch that could fix your issue.

Also, would you mind to try using the standalone or the portable Electrum? try them and maybe it will work than using the Electrum installer or you can stay using 4.1.5 Electrum and wait for another Electrum release.
3528  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Tracking BTC transfers on: March 16, 2022, 10:30:05 PM
What wallet actually you are using most of the wallet apps out there have the option to put a label or description so if you can tell us the app where you sent BTC maybe we can give you some links or guides that will help you how to put a label or description with your own wallet without using 3rd party tracker.

Like sample Electrum as suggested above the Electrum wallet on PC have the option to put a description but if you are looking for a mobile app Electrum also have an app but you can't able to put a description instead you can put a label which is I think what you need you can also use it as watch-only if your wallet is not Electrum.
3529  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 4.2.0 strange dll errors on: March 16, 2022, 10:04:07 PM
Where do you get or download the Electrum 4.2.0 version? Make sure it was from electrum.org

Also, try to reinstall the latest Electrum just make sure that you already have wallet file backup before you uninstall Electrum and install the latest one.

If you have any installed Anti Virus I suggest you disable it first before you install Electrum.
3530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Core signing offline after the keypool of 1000 question on: March 16, 2022, 09:55:22 PM
I think it won't be able to find the key to sign, Bitcoin core keypool size is limited to 1000 addresses by default.

But you can adjust your keypool size above the 1000 limit by adding this command below on Bitcoin.conf

Code:
keypool=1001

Change the number how much addresses size your want more than 1000. Or you can use this command -keypool=<n> just replace <n> more than 1000.

Do this in your offline wallet before you export parent_desc and import it to your online Bitcoin core watch-only wallet.
3531  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Are my S17+ temps too high, pic inside on: March 16, 2022, 03:10:02 PM
Did you buy this unit as a used miner?

There might be a loose heatsink that causes overheating you will need to disassemble the unit and check physically.
Sometimes it's due to the broken or shorted capacitors that is why the temp increase so fast and automatically drops for overtemp protection.
3532  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 1166 - can't edit/add pools/worker as no submit button on: March 16, 2022, 03:01:03 PM
Any miner-related website is always blocked with Kaspersky so you must disable the antivirus before you can properly access them.

Or alternatively use a mobile phone to set up your miner.
3533  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin ATM Operator Looking to Partner with local Miners (USA) on: March 15, 2022, 11:37:57 PM
what are your rates for buying Bitcoin?
Why don't you just buy BTC in exchanges?
Did you try to contact pool operators? Maybe they can provide service in your Bitcoin ATM check this https://miningpoolstats.stream/bitcoin then contact them and maybe one of them can provide the exact service that you need.

I don't think someone here will take this offer unless you offer higher than the current Bitcoin price. So if you want to buy BTC at the current price buying directly on exchanges is best than looking for miners here to provide BTC in your Bitcoin ATM.
3534  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S17 Pro 53th Troubleshooting on: March 15, 2022, 11:27:40 PM
hey!

I have been about to buy the antminer s17 with this distributor (Dovina) and as I see in the comments I do not think it is a good choice to buy there.... Do you think it is advisable to buy on the official website of Bitmain? is there any seller of Alibaba that you recommend? or another website?

Yes, it's recommended to buy directly from the manufacturer or authorized distributor you will most likely scam if you deal to unknown resellers.

you can also try to contact this man offordscott he is the one that I know trusted selling miner.
Or try to check this website https://www.zeusbtc.com/Used-ASIC-Miner/
3535  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S17+ only hashing 45th on: March 15, 2022, 11:19:51 PM
Hey

I purchased these miners used.

One of the boards is completely missing, so that would explain why Chain[0] isnt detected at all.
However 2 days ago Chain[1] was working but now its not working, from your experience, what is the most common reason for this?

I did transport the miner from one house to another, could it have broken in transport?

Did you replug the cables and the issue occur?

would you mind to try running one hashboard with a known working cable so that we can check if it just a cable issue if not then try to upgrade your firmware to the latest version. Sometimes it can fix this problem by upgrading it to the latest firmware also, check the miner hashboard physically, and maybe a few of the heatsink is loose.
3536  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: HIVEOS Client firmware on S9k Antminers (?) on: March 14, 2022, 11:57:29 PM

would Your OS work on S9SE?

I think it will not work because the S9se have different control board if your purpose is to unlock it try to flash it with a k5 image recovery through an SD card.
Check them here https://service.bitmain.com/support/download?product=Flashing%20SD%20card%20with%20image

Then you can start flashing it with different OS like HiveOS or Awesomeminer.
3537  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: no server were found after cgminer raspberry pi os on: March 14, 2022, 11:44:15 PM
Are you sure that your Raspi has an internet connection? try to reattach the cable if it is connected through the ethernet cable.

Also, try to replace the pool server or other servers I suggest try this pool below

I still do not work bring your issue on their official thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5053833.0
Then ask for help.
3538  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S17+ only hashing 45th on: March 14, 2022, 11:29:28 PM
I suggest do a firmware upgrade first before you do anything else about hardware.

If the upgrade doesn't work try flashing it through the SD card and if it still does not work then go try to replug all cables including the PSU metal(reattached the metal) and maybe there is a connection problem between them and replug the ribbon cable and clean other terminals with thinner or isopropyl alcohol.
3539  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is coinsbit.io scam? on: March 14, 2022, 05:29:01 PM
How did you end up using this exchange?
This is what happens to those people who are eagerly want to exchange coins or tokens.

I hope next time do some research first or ask here if the exchange is legit or not to avoid scam. The ranking and trust score on Coingecko is useless you must ask or do research before you decide to deposit.
3540  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 1166 - can't edit/add pools/worker as no submit button on: March 14, 2022, 04:49:33 PM
Try to use incognito mode when accessing and configuring your miner.

Also, try to manually type the pool server then save it. If it doesn't work you might have a miner with locked firmware.
