3521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: April 22, 2017, 11:47:51 PM
Nothing special, I just listen to my favorite music and wear the same shirt. Thst will put me in the zone so I can concentrate better while gambling. The more comfortable I am, the better I do.
3522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Poloniex To Delist 17 Altcoins In May Without Explanation on: April 22, 2017, 02:34:13 AM
They have been delisting non performing coins ever since. If there is a note that it will be delisted soon, then it is worth it to check if you have those coins and dump them. If you don't want to dump them, move them out and put it on your own wallet before the due date.
3523  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pwede bang gumawa nga sariling bitcoin wallet sa pc mo? on: April 21, 2017, 06:16:48 PM

3524  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Calling all Bloggers: I need tips please.. on: April 21, 2017, 05:56:12 PM

Pero matatagalan pa siguro bago mangyari to.
3527  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: April 17, 2017, 05:43:56 AM
Another thing that annoys me is that every time I log in, it has this stupid thing I have to click to prove I am not a robot. I am using my login credentials, of course I'm not a robot. (what, they don't have api codes or something for that purpose?)

It's annoying.

And, ... well ... going to use the other one muna.

Tama.

3528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: April 17, 2017, 02:19:10 AM
im all in into xem, this going to be big.....top 5 market cap soon
yes, it is very undervalued. I hope it will be over billion in 1-2 months with the Catapult.
very good dev team  Wink

You are expecting too much in a short period of time. Everybody knows NEM is more on organic growth than pump and dump hype. We will get there but slowly and surely.
3529  Economy / Speculation / Re: Take profits now! on: April 17, 2017, 02:06:15 AM
If bitcoin can solve its issue on scaling and prevent a hardfork, then the current price is undervalued. But if this problem persists and the hard fork threat unresolved, the price may go down and this is the right time to sell some coins for profit. I believe bitcoin price will continue to up and down in this range until this issues are resolved.
3530  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fixed income with BTC trading? on: April 17, 2017, 01:51:43 AM
But if Bitcoin traded at the same range and same volume every day be happen,
I think we are will be difficult to get profit or just for small profit will we are get it,
because the price is stagnant or stable at same range and same volume.

That is where shorting comes to play, and these small variations in price, even though it's within a range of $1-$5, you can still make money out of it if you are fast enough to take advantage of those micro swings. However if you deem that the price wouldn't move for a long time, it is best to just hold the coins in your wallet for as long as you can because you will still see positive results in the end.

Scalping will work if you have large enough capital because even small movement on price will make large profits. Maybe those with a hundred btc can do that. But for small time traders, it will be harder and riskier even if they leverage their trades.
3531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make governments accept bitcoin? on: April 16, 2017, 04:28:42 PM
Nothing. With or without any government approval or acceptance, bitcoin will continue to exist and function. To some, this is actually an advantage, uncontrolled and decentralized. I worry if a central government actually accepts it, then it will try to control it, which is actually opposite to bitcoin's nature.
3532  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are signature campaigns really working for gambling sites? on: April 16, 2017, 02:23:51 PM
It works. Even if you don't click it, if you see it then it works for exposure. The more times you see it, the more chance you get interested and may click it. And there is no better way to advertise a bitcoin gambling site than this forum. All users here are target clients. If they advertise outside, they'll be showing ads to nonbitcoin users and that is a waste.
3533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons of why bitcoin accepting shopping sites are not famous on: April 16, 2017, 02:14:22 PM
There is not that many people using bitcoin and maybe the percentage of bitcoin users that are really online shoppers are very low as well. So, the effect of accepting bitcoin in a shop is very minimal.

3534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When I talk to NON-BitcoinTalkers they don't know.. on: April 16, 2017, 02:07:04 PM
Whenever I explain bitcoin to newbies, they look to me as if I am talking about quantum physics. What more if I have to explain to them BU, Segwit, Lightning and all that is happening right now in bitcoin. They'll be lost.

It is better for them to know it on their own. If they are really interested, they'll dig it up.

For us, let us relax and enjoy the summer sun.
3535  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: April 15, 2017, 12:28:21 PM

Yung pagtransfer ba ng bitcoin to another wallet?

3537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you stop someone forcing you to hand over your private key and taking all on: April 15, 2017, 08:52:00 AM
They can't make me, I do not memorize my private keys and they cannot make me give them my private keys. Not over my dead body. It is stored somewhere safe and even if they take my phone or laptop, they cannot find my main wallet in there.
3538  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Reason to Hold Gold And Bitcoin on: April 15, 2017, 07:42:21 AM
If you want good investment then there is no doubt that you will hold bitcoin and gold because of their performance in the last few years. Bitcoin and Gold are almost the same, Physical and Digital gold but they are just different in price movement which is bitcoin moves faster or change its price regularly while gold is just stable. So if you really like both of them for your investment then you gonna hold them.

Past performance does not guarantee future performance specially in investing. If you want to have a basis on investment, base it on their future value. If something is valuable, then invest on it. Right now, bitcoin have a lot of problems on its hands like scaling and fees. If bitcoin solves this, maybe it can be as promising as gold.
3539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: April 15, 2017, 06:22:43 AM
This can happen. If bitcoin cannot put a solution to scale problems, it will be overthrown by altcoins who have better handle on scaling problems, have faster confirmation time and lower fees. Investors will always choose the better and cheaper means to do business, and if bitcoin cannot provide that, they will surely seek an altcoin who does.
3540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Inspiration on: April 14, 2017, 09:41:40 AM
First of all, inspiration means nothing in gambling. It will not make you luckier or anything just because you are inspired. And if your inspiration is your family, friends or loveones, you will not be gambling but working hard.
