3521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto market is bullish or Just a small recover? on: October 09, 2018, 04:12:39 PM
BTC 4 hour chart has the MACD about to dip. I know TA is largely unreliable in crypto, but that specific indicator has been really reliable with BTC lately...
I have been using TA to trade cryptocurrency for a while now and I can say it has been very reliable.
I guess the problem a lot of people who want to trade have is that as long as they analyze the market and the market shows the possibility of bullishness, they just relax and assume everything is alright but in the real sense, nothing is actually alright, until there is a fully clear signal of the market moving up or down for a while.

This is the reason why a lot of people do not use stop loss, because they just assumed that with their knowledge of TA and knowing bullish signs, the market will always give them what they expect.
3522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading, the very beginning on: October 09, 2018, 03:30:39 PM
Hi guys,

I'm considering to start day trading. Before now i'm in the crypto world from more than a year. I'm minner and i made some good profit from icos, but the current condition of the market is terrible for icos. If they don't don't adjust i can't see any profit in them for now. So i want to try day trading in crypto, while the volatility is still prespective for not so hard profit.

October im planning to spend the month for learning about day trading in crypto.
I would be glad to hear from you any suggestions for books, courses (prefer even more expensive from traders which are with good experience and results in this market) and everything which could be useful for the very beginning.

Thank you!
I don’t really know for you, but ICOs are the big thing for this year. Cryptocurrencies has been failing a lot of people  so the choice for majority is ICO and lots of people who went for ICO has been able to make a lot of profit from it this year.

If you try to HODL this year you’re not going to gain anything from what I’m seeing, so best is ICO, unless you will go for trading or maybe go back to mining, since you said you’re gaining from it. If I were you I would continue would anyone that is helping me earn some income.
Patience is actually one of the problems a lot of people usually find difficult to be able to imbibe when it comes to the market. They are always looking for the market to just hit an exchange and voila, things should just start getting rosy. A lot of things will have to take place when it comes to development and as time goes on with other people finding the need to use the product as well as the coin, the demand would increase.

Hence at the end, it is just all about how ready you are when it comes to being patient and focusing on the long term. With day trading however, I guess in this space, everything requires great deal of knowledge and if you do not have it, which would be a huge problem.
3523  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin leverage Trading on: October 09, 2018, 11:31:04 AM
Hello, bitcoin community! I would like to share a link to an article about biggest leverage rates that bitcoin (and others as well) can have right now in the market https://www.cryptocointrade.com/trading-blog/where-can-i-trade-crypto-with-the-highest-leverage/. What do you guys think? Is bitcoin trading enriched by a 500x rate and have you ever used it on your own?
I would never trade on x500 leverage at all, it would have too thin of a margin of error, even on a slightest drop in the price would mean you would lose your money. I mean drop in the price if you are doing long, if you are doing short than slightest increase would cash out your stand.

Which means whenever you put up your money on a 500 time leverage means it needs to go to the direction you are putting your money and never even a single cent backwards against your bet. Too much gambling for my taste on trading, if I am trading I want to trade on more conservative ways but even if I am going to leverage it I would prefer x10 at most.
3524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is when I bet all into cryptocurrency on: October 08, 2018, 01:39:06 PM
Could you tell me the reasons why you believe that the market can recover after reducing to 4000$. I dont know why. Because it depends so much on the acceptance of big countries in the world such as America, China, Japan, EU,... If they still keep the bad view for crypto currency, I dont believe the market can recover.
Which market reduced to $4000 in the first place as the only market that could have done that so far is bitcoin and bitcoin has not gone below $5800 region since the beginning of this year, so get your facts straight bro.

Moreover, how low a market ends up going does not really mean it becomes totally impossible for it to recover and that is what makes a lot of people to lose track of the fact that markets at the dips are to be bought but since they are so full of what they want to think by a market not having a possibility to recover, they tend to wait it out and then start joining the FOMO they should be running away from. Sorry, but people like you are usually the whale's target.
3525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Investments Why Risky? on: October 08, 2018, 01:09:45 PM
First of all I do not think many people who have invested in any ICO would consider law before they go into it. ICO's could have problem with law enforcement but certainly the investors wouldn't because they are just sending ethereum and there are no other connection to them unless someone really digs deep which I doubt anyone would.

On the other hand anyone who buys into any ICO already knows that its a hail mary, it is either do or die, noone really trust any ICO to be an alright thing, they invest knowing the risks and say either this money will go to zero or it will be hero.
3526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge is needed on: October 08, 2018, 10:37:56 AM
A good thing to see this coming from a newbie. A lot of newbies today are always in a rush and the last time I checked, if you rush into anything, the chances of rushing out is going to be huge afterwards.

The only way you can be able to make informed decision is when you have the great knowledge to be able to make those decisions. As long as you are just so focused on wanting to make money, your judgment will always be deterred by that a whole lot. It is very important to always do due diligence, understand your environment, the opportunities and the risks, and then see where you stand.
3527  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Increased Number of Scammers on: October 06, 2018, 11:52:56 AM
Guys guys! Dont be negative too much because I believe there still has many projects providing good and trustworthy ICO. Facilitate yourself with full of knowledge and experience then find a ICO that you are strongly into. Good luck guys.
A lot of people have a huge role to play when it comes to getting scammed as far as I am concerned and they are just a victim of their own gullible state. Knowledge most especially is what a lot of people always run away from and how do you want to thrive in an environment without the knowledge of that environment. I do not see how that can be possible.

What is most important is to know what to do to always be able to identify a scam from real projects. Like you said, there are real projects there but as a person what are you doing and what knowledge do you have to be able to identify them. I have been investing in ICOs, and even though they are not much, I know they are quality projects with products and good team, which is what, is important. Once you focus on that, you cannot miss it.
3528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another December Bull run on: October 05, 2018, 10:32:44 AM
Perhaps the shear 'anticipation' that there will be another bull run in December will build up so much excitement that it will happen. All it takes is a 'few' big whales and watch the snow ball effect.
Most of people here are hoping for the bullrun to return the loss, maybe there will be another bull run this coming December, though may not be as high as we had last year.
It is good to hope but it is another thing to be realistic. I am saying realistic in the sense that certainly there is no one who can tell what the future is going to end up as, just by trying to judge from past happenings.

Q4 has always been good; at least as we get to see some midterm uptrend or even bull run for the altcoins at times, but at the same time, I guess this is something that we can only get to know with time as nothing is guaranteed. Most times when there is even too much hype about something in this market, I tend to prefer to stay even more careful.
3529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling? on: October 04, 2018, 10:01:56 AM
Some online games are as well good as Casinos such as faucet games, if we are talking about crypto games.
I wonder why people start gambling when they feel dissatisfaction and loneliness. They can engage themselves in some good hobbies, like gardening, reading books, helping needy people. If he interacts with people he will forget his loneliness and depression will come out of his mind. But if starts gambling he will increase his dissatisfaction and loneliness.
You are forgetting something! We are in an age where people do not want to work and they are always busy looking for an easy way out. Why do you think even as people keep getting scammed, that has not stopped scam from increasing and people still being a victim the more.

Quick ways to make money and greed is what some people always bring into gambling, and once they have heard that someone has made some shit load of money from gambling, they just assume they could just end up getting rich overnight as well from gambling and then before they know it, they are knee deep and hard to get out from.
3530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase accelerates the process of listing coin, the game changes? on: October 03, 2018, 10:39:49 AM
I saw a lot of coins and tokens that became scams and even died on this exchange made me think again to buy. if this coinbase project is implemented then I will see a potential coin based on a review of the coinbase which I myself don't doubt. I'm waiting for the results of their work for my future investment
It is really a good start for some altcoins in particular as this would bring about a huge market for them as well. It is a good thing that coinbase has been able to come up with some good framework in getting coins listed and I believe this would really speak well for the community at large when it comes to trading coins or tokens that complies with their local law and have a solid ground in terms of good team and project to capitalize on in the long run. I would say in the long run, it is indeed a good step for the market in the right direction.
3531  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin, how does it work and what affects its price? on: October 02, 2018, 08:44:25 PM
Bitcoin works better than fiat currency and all the other crypto coins but it depends upon the interest of country, people and their government. If they want to get benefit of the Bitcoin then it will result better than any other currency just like Germany is getting benefit as payment mode, investment source as well as payment of loans using by banks. They are using it for the betterment of country.
Bitcoin works in supply and demand clearly. When there are more people wanting to buy than people that wants to sell the price of bitcoin goes up. When there are more people who wants to sell than people who wants to buy the price goes down. These keep happening until the amount of people who wants to sell and people who wants to buy goes head to head at which time the price stabilizes a bit (couple percent moves at most).

This means if you want bitcoin to go up than you need to make people want to buy and not sell, which is FOMO (fear of missing out) people buy stuff they think they will make money.

3533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everybody should get a newspaper to read! on: October 01, 2018, 07:27:43 AM
This is funny but sad.

right now if you join any project just get some newspaper or Google terms and condition PDF to read... I mean, forget about it and do something else that will help you wait for a long time because almost every project keeps on postponing and postponing. They're all afraid of the market (some are bold and tell us the truth, others lie and others give false assurance).

So my advice- don't attack the team, they're waiting for a good market to give update that's why they're trying to delay things. We can all testify to the fact that all those who postpone ICO don't raise anything. Some even falsify reaching their softcap and some even reduce it.

For me, I'll start asking my questions when the market conditions improve, but the question is when??? Huh
This is really frustrating and a lot of people have been talking about it. It has been the topic all this while and no one is happy about it. The main thing that is bothering some is – what if they are working for the wrong ICO and at the end they don’t get paid? Some scam are going to use this as an opportunity to get people to work for them for a long time, really bad. I’m just hoping that the market gets back to a high price, nobody has been happy this year with what they have been seeing.
3534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Or Trading? on: October 01, 2018, 06:38:20 AM
I will ask you which one is the most beneficial of these two things? what will you choose? and explain why you chose it. who knows it will give input to everyone who reads. if I myself might be a bounty can be profitable and maybe the results of the bounty will lead to trading. What is your opinion? share your experience here
For someone who doesn’t have enough money I will say it’s better for them to start with bounty, but bounty wouldn’t make you much money like you will make through trading.

But if you have the money, then trading is the best and that’s also the best for me and is what I have been doing for long now ever since I discovered it. But trading is not like bounty that you will just jump in without experience, there are lots of things you will need to learn about trading and its not easy.
3535  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Do you wish to have physical notes, coins for bitcoin? on: October 01, 2018, 06:02:04 AM
How it would be when we have a physical bitcoin currency note? Do they already exist? If created, will it impact the market growth and loose it's value in the market?  Any thoughts?
You don’t know what you’re saying. Do you even know what is cryptocurrency? Cryptocurrency doesn’t need a physical form, they ate meant to be digital only.

So this is stupid, and it’s not going to work, nobody would think of making bitcoin to be physical like having notes and coins, who on earth or what Blockchain are you going to use it for that? Well, going further with this is just making me look stupid, lol… so it’s not possible and it’s very bad question.
3536  Economy / Marketplace / Re: about the price of cryptocurrency on: September 29, 2018, 11:42:07 AM
I am newbie just know bitcoin and cryptocurrency 5 months ago whether other cryptocurrency besides bitcoin can compete with current bitcoin value or value and what only bitcoin can be the leader of this cryptocurrency and what is the alignment of a cryptocurrency currency that the price becomes very high
I don’t know if you do check coinmarketcap, if you do then you will see that the market cap of Bitcoin and even the price rate too is way more above every other cryptocurrency in the market. I don’t think it will be easy for any cryptocurrency to beat Bitcoin as the number one, it will be very difficult, not even ETH or Ripple. So Bitcoin will always remain the number one cryptocurrency, others are just altcoins.
3537  Economy / Economics / Re: what are the causes of the continuous plunge in Bitcoin? on: September 29, 2018, 11:03:55 AM
At the end of May, Bitcoin hit a new high this year after a sustained surge, which began to reverse on May 25th and 26th. It once fell by 900 US dollars, a drop of more than 30%; China's bitcoin prices once fell to around 14,000 yuan, today About 14,700 yuan fluctuations.
Interestingly, the reporter noticed that the renminbi’s exchange rate movements from the onshore market are in stark contrast to the plunge in bitcoin prices. Also on May 25th, when Bitcoin turned down and fell, the exchange rate of RMB began to turn upwards.
The spot price of offshore RMB exchange rate CNH has risen from 6.8752 to 6.8498 from May 25th and has been rising all the way. Today, the intraday trading session of CNH rose to 6.8031. Onshore RMB spot exchange rate CNY, although closed today at the Dragon Boat Festival, rose to 6.8678 at 6.8860 on May 25 and rose further to 6.8525 on the 26th.
Some people were predicting that increase that came on May, but they were not correct cause they claimed it’s going to take the price to around $15,000 dollars but it wasn’t able to cross $10,000 that month or was it $11,000, can’t remember.

This last months are going to be a lot of different, a lot of investors are likely to come back. People believe there is going to be a pump soon and the price has been increasing little.
3538  Economy / Economics / Re: Investors continue to invest in crypto-currency on: September 29, 2018, 10:16:14 AM
Investors continue to invest in crypto-currency start-ups, participating in the primary placement of tokens (ICO), despite the growing regulatory pressure.
Over the period from January to May 2018, ICO raised a total of $ 11.8 billion, which is twice as high as the same period a year earlier ($ 5.5 billion), according to the Wall Street Journal, based on the data from the ICOBench.com platform about 900 transactions.
The ICO market continues to grow, despite tightening regulation, including from the SEC, as well as regular reports of fraudulent transactions and a general fall in the prices of crypto-currencies.
These problems discourage some retail investors, but large investors focused on the technology sector continue to pour money into the ICO in the hope that this market will eventually go uphill.
Among the largest ICO this year is the placement of the Telegram Group tokens, the developer of the messenger of the same name, with a volume of $ 1.7 billion, as well as the startup block.one, a platform for implementing block-based business solutions, with a volume of $ 4 billion.
However, even without these two ICOs, the total volume of token placement in the first half of 2018 is higher than for the entire 2017 year. According to the WSJ, 490 startups successfully conducted ICO in January-May 2017, the average amount of funds raised was $ 24 million.
According to a study by the international consulting and auditing company PwC and the Crypto Valley association, 537 ICO projects were held from January to June 2018, totaling $ 13.7 billion. During this period, Telegram ($ 1.7 billion) and EOS ( $ 4.1 billion).
Last year, 552 teams came on the ICO, which received $ 7 billion. If you subtract the two highest-grossing projects from the first five months of 2018, the amount of funds raised during this period will be $ 8 billion.
Researchers noted that the primary location of the tokens is again rapidly gaining momentum with the help of hybrid campaigns that allow publicly to raise funds after the received financing. First they collect from $ 100 thousand to $ 1 million from venture investors, then open to the general public.
"After the excitement of 2017, the ICO sector has become more established and definite. Now more attention is paid to improving business and legal practices, investor relations and attracting financing, "said Daniel Dimers, head of PwC Strategy.
Since the beginning of the year, there have been more projects in the UK for the primary placement of tokens than in the United States. Approximately the same number of Swiss crypto-enthusiasts. A rating of ten countries is closed by Israel and Hong Kong.
I think the price of Bitcoin now is just the correct the price, all this while it has been a bubble. So anyone who invests now is doing it at the right time cause I don’t think the price will drop down below this rate, even if it does, it wouldn’t be that much of fall.

Next thing we will see is a pump and those who didn’t buy any Bitcoin right will not happy they didn’t. The price is already showing signs of booming soon, even altcoins will go with it.
3539  Economy / Economics / Re: Money vs Barter on: September 28, 2018, 11:23:18 AM
Money is one of the important concepts, This section talks about money from the perspective of microeconomics.when people exchange goods and services without using money, this is called barter. "I'll cook dinner if you'll do the dishes" is an example of barter. Imagine an economy in wich i can sell services as a consultant to banks, but what i want is to buy a new suit. the clothing store that sell suits does not have any use for my services as a banking consultant. i sell consulting services for money, and i buy a suit using money. money serves as a medium of exchange. the bank does not sell suits. how can barter work?
There isn’t really much difference between the both of them, they are all under the same category and all methods of exchange. The barter system is just an old system of exchanging things, while money/currency is the new method.

And I think money is the best and far much better than barter system. No need to start explaining, you have give the examples and the explanation to why money is better than the barter system.
3540  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin still a slave of Fiat? on: September 28, 2018, 10:45:51 AM
Why is Bitcoin tied to Fiat? Why is Bitcoin value moving like a stock? satoshi said the value will be derived by the limit of total coins. But we are seeing the opposite. Why dont we mathematically calculate the value of bitcoin according to the amount of bitcoin mined?

Like

Agreed Value * Bitcoins Mined = New Value

0.0010 * 1 = 0.0010
0.0010 * 2 = 0.0020
The senior will always remain the senior, no matter how hard you try. Fiat is what the world use, you can’t change it and put Bitcoin as our currency. Bitcoin is already playing its own role in development and what it does best is being used as an alternative to banks in making transactions. We can’t all be making use of the same currency, and by the way, there is no good reason as to why we should replace fiat with Bitcoin.
