Nothing new in the picture. BFL customers have been shown their boxes months earlier. However BFL didn't falsely claimed they were shipping them.
Total lie.

They have claimed to be shipping their ASICs on time over and over again, each time with postponement and additional delays.

The last one took you (a BFL customer by the way) from February 10th to Match 10th. (or thereabouts).

It'll Ship in:

October 2012, no wait
Early November 2012, no wait
Mid November, no wait
"5th Week of November", no wait
Early December 2012, no wait
December 10th, no wait a little longer
Before the 25th of December our Fabs"drop dead" date,, no wait
Now it is 30 days from December 10th 2012 --> January 10th 2013, no wait
Revised that and added a detailed timeline, Sometime in February 10th, no wait
February 18th 2013, no wait
February 22nd, 2013, no wait
Sometime in Early March 2013, no wait
Sometime in Mid March 2013, if all goes well...

(The continuing saga of BFL customers)

Now do me a favor and go wash your face from all that humiliation...

Now, PuertoLibre has got his "miracle" picture. It seems they are empty. It's strange they didn't take pictures of piles of boards or half ready devices, while they claim they are going to start shipping on Monday.
It's more like you are just speculating it is the case rather than knowing it is the case (of fans).

You know there is a rumor that BFL is waiting on their shipment.

Puertolibre right on cue as usual................. hahaha

And not a negative word in his post ?............................I think he's going mellow in his old age  Cheesy
Fly or Fail, it's all in BFL's hands.

Let us pray for a miracle. (....the world is holding its breath)

^ I got my miracle today. ^

I wonder why they mentioned 2 weeks. What is special about 2 weeks?

Does this mean they are seeking certification to do exports properly?

(A long time ago, they mentioned that CE certification would take like 2 weeks when I brought it up on the forum)
3525  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Discount Voucher Policy - Updates on: February 28, 2013, 01:24:43 PM
I don't see what the problem is... Huh
Voucher and Discounts.

A discount is what you give someone when you fumble their order.

A voucher is what you give someone to get them to give you even more money the next time around. It is a one way street. (against the customer IMO)

-----------------------------
Rather than giving something back to those who hanged on for 8 months on a pre-order, they "seemingly" concocted a way to get people to give them even more money.

If a BFL customer refuses to buy another, they get nothing for the wait.
If a BFL customer finds a better vendor, they get nothing for the wait.
If a BFL customer uses the "Voucher" within 60 days, then they GIVE BFL an extra order.

Wow, such great guys!

Oh, but this is only those who waited for 7 or 8 months. Those who waited from September till March 2013. You won't get anything. Now bend over and feel grateful....or get a refund and get outta their way. They have more customers to replace you. (Deletes one more "customer" from a database)

Should be.....

So PuertoLibre can have a life. HAHA    Without trolling the BFL forums/threads he has no purpose...don't believe me check any BFL thread.
Hehe,
Compare to you who has been coming on for 8 months and just only recently saw the chip being tested on what you bought. Quick, hold your breath and hope it meets specs. (or just works at the very least?)

<Reserved space for future taunting/laughing if the chips fails the specs check>

I have not been following this very much, but are they only onto testing chips now?
So far, yes. Josh stated in some post that it was only for testing the chip was designed properly. (Or thereabouts in paraphrase)

They haven't indicated they are testing the chips for specs, only for functionality and proper implementation of the design.

It appears that some of the rumors may be true, some requests for refund are indeed being delayed or are ignored for a lengthy period of time.

Is it your job to stalk the BFL forums?

I sent their Cust Support an email about an issues (not a refund, however), and it took them 12 days to get back to me. I would assume that a refund would take about the same amount of time, so I don't consider this to be a purposeful delay. You can calm down on the OMG BFL ISN"T REFUNDING ORDERS for a lil bit.

PuertoLibre stalking the BFL forums.........no way!   LOL

What I wonder is if you're not throwing $20-$50K into ASICs why you would be spending so much time posting in threads for an item that you don't even want.  I mean there's educating the public and then there's just making into a life goal.  The same can be said for people trolling in the Avalon threads.  Only reason I come here is to just get updates I missed without having to scan all the BFL forums.

What kind of jobs/lives must some of you have to be able to afford this much time online?
Probably for the same reason the above people spent months bashing bASIC and Avalon in their own threads.

Pot calling the kettle black as it were.

Throw the rock carefully so it doesn't bounce and hit themselves on their own head. (or their own previous activity)

How much do they pay you to brown nose for them?

Reading the BFL forums each day is now a crime?

PuertoLibre stalking the BFL forums.........no way!   LOL

Another notorious example of a person who calls other BFL customers "trolls" for wanting updates.

PuertoPobre. Grin
It actually means FreePort in English.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_free_ports

It was a name chosen in honor of BitCoin. There are people in the world that don't know what a free port is, why it exists, or what advantages there are in conducting commercial businesses at such ports.

Is Kano on Australian Welfare?

http://www.humanservices.gov.au/customer/information/centrelink-website

Now I am not "base" enough to joke about that (cause soon most of us will be on welfare in one way or another as economies of scale deteriorate), but now I understand the rest as it comes into focus if this is the case.

3536  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon will ship 290 units by tomorrow, correct? on: February 27, 2013, 04:36:30 AM
@OP, I don't know.

I hope so, just so that BFL suckers can start mining at an even higher difficulty.  Cheesy

Your hatred is strong. Come to the Dark Side....

An SC Upgrade from singles..$1323.00  You can rejoice you may get yours after I have my Avalon..!!!  Lol   Smiley
Why did it take so long for you to receive a refund? [2 Weeks?]

Did they give you a "hard time" with the refund or something?
3538  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL: Chips have shipped, on their way to US on: February 27, 2013, 02:06:03 AM

Am I the first person to notice the date and time of this flight? Unless I didn't get the memo as to which timeline I'm living in, that would make the last time this plane left the ground 7 days prior to the epic flight depicted by pics taken on the 19th. BTW, a simple phone call confirmed this.
I did notice it, but I thought perhaps I was mistaken on when Kano had left for BFL labs.

What do you make of it?
3539  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Top 10 reasons why BFL will postpone their March 2013 shipping date on: February 26, 2013, 02:01:02 PM

March 13th, 2013.

Josh was driving the chips to Chicago for final assembly and went missing. We suppose he left for Havanna, Cuba.

Please do not Panic, we have 66,000 more chips on standby, it will only take 3 more months. BFL Steven Sonny will take over as COO in the interim.

Sonny is our new courier! (With 66k chips in tow!)
3540  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New BFL update. 25 February 2013. on: February 26, 2013, 01:56:20 PM
I thought I was reading about bASIC 2.0 with these new excuses.

There hasn't been any "drunken" and/or "hacked" BFL posts/accounts yet..
Compare Toms drunken and raging heart to that of BFL Josh.

Is there a difference?
