3521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Cryptos Under 20 Cents on: September 29, 2021, 02:01:59 PM
Do they look good and profiting? I don't think so as most of them are worthless, and most of them turn to shitcoins.
I understand that many had taking consider the price as they can buy in bulk thinking that this could give a huge profit in the future but the question is " are we sure of it?"

Yes, we have our choice to which coin we want to invest but for me, I'd rather take risks on the known coins with a high potentiality rates than these hopeless coins even it was expensive. Their market value (20cents) represents something that they don't have such as market gain and we don't think either that is why most of the investors don't look into them.
3522  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does a trader needs to be a full time trader to be successful? on: September 29, 2021, 08:58:04 AM
I have unique way in trading where only take few percent of profit and sell my assets, I don't waiting longer time for getting profit if bitcoin and altcoin have good price, when up only 5% I will sell and some time under 4% I sell. I use about $4000 of my fund with trading and never take profit with 20% because raise few percent only I sold.

What you are doing is trading short term, so you are playing it safe by taking small profit but sustainable. That's a pretty smart strategy, because in
the end, if the profits you make are collected, you can get a big profit too. But doing short-term trading requires good analytical skills, because you
have to monitor the market often, so as not to miss the development of the coins. If you feel comfortable with your trading strategy, please do well
and consistently. Actually, whatever strategy we use can work, most importantly we can use the strategy well. Then we don't need to be a full time
trader to be successful, as long as the trader finds a way of trading that suits him and is taken seriously, then success will come naturally.

It is a matter of choice, either you were in full-time trading or not, but what makes it important is to have a good strategy, not time. Of course, having to spend more time in trading gives some advantage and the more we got ideas but at the end of the day, it was still relying on our decision-making which can't be taught by someone. Maybe we just wasted our time if the results were still the same or no improvement at all, not is unnecessary. It rather keeps on short-term trading as long as you were satisfied with the output.
3523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: September 28, 2021, 08:59:45 PM
Didn't expect this one, I thought everyone including me is expecting a Donaire vs Casimero or Inoue vs Casimero since those two fighters have a beef with Casimero, and then the organization butts in and gets Butler to fight Casimero, this will only piss off the two because they expect one of them will fight Casimero.

Not a very good decision from the organization in my opinion. The fans have been eagerly waiting for a Casimero vs Inoue or Donaire fight but they match him up against Butler. I, for myself, have so longed for the Donaire vs Casimero fight because that would be such a high voltage match. Pretty disappointed in the matchmaking system. Hope they will match Casimero against Donaire or at least against Inoue.
Dont know if this was on purpose or just simply they do really follow up some system on making out fight decisions or line ups despite of the hype or interest of the fans/community.
We cant really remove into our minds that whenever that theres hype then it do really means that it would really be a good revenue for both boxers and the promoters/org.
There's nothing we can do but to wait up for the fight to be arranged in near future but for now they would really need to face those who had been set out.
Fighters wont really be having any choice when it comes to these mandatory fights, neither they would fight or would lose up their belt.

As stated.
In professional boxing and some other combat sports, a mandatory challenger is an opponent whom a champion must either fight or be forced to vacate their title as champion. A mandatory defence is the opposite of a voluntary defence, where the champion may fight an opponent who might offer greater revenue potential than a mandatory challenger

Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandatory_challenger

That's a direct order from the organization that give the belt, these two champions could choose not to fight their mandatory challenger but giving up their belt would hurt them as their value as a boxer might drop as well and that would not result in a big fight next time. As aggressive as they are in challenging Inoue, they should consider this fight as a serious threat and again win a convincing fight and their main goal will be realized soon.
3524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 28, 2021, 08:37:00 PM
Between Murray- MPJ - Gordon - Jokic they have 4 great players that can play together for a very long time.

Exactly. When reading about Big three. I was thinking this exactly. Nuggets have big four.  Aaron Gordon played only 35 games last year in Denver. Players need some time to adapt to play on their best level.

I'm not a huge Gordon fan, and honestly don't know how he fits in there.  Their team will run around Jamal, joker and mjp.  He has flashes of excitement but his game is tough to play around.  He should lock up the defense, rebounding and alley oop role.  Any other time with the ball isn't a plus for the team.
I'm optimistic he will fit with the Nuggets because he got a contract extension and with the action of the Nuggets, they believe that Gordon will be able to deliver, and for sure they will not waste the talent of Gordon which does not only do well in offense but most especially to their defense.
3525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The misconception when buying/investing in Bitcoin on: September 28, 2021, 03:23:14 PM
I don't buy Bitcoin just to hold but for some reasons and that is to use it in the future, to enjoy spending it online, use in gambling and etc. To buy Bitcoin worth $1,000, I think that was enough and fact that is only the amount that I can afford of. And probably I don't need to have 1BTC on my wallet just to get satisfaction as I already been there.

I don't understand why many where aiming to get 1 full Bitcoin? Maybe it can just be now as they saw that Bitcoin is increasing its value but they don't mind this thing before while it was just only $10k, $5k, or at $3k. I see how it changes, but to see the prices nowadays that seems so hard to get that 1 full Bitcoin unless if we are rich already as we are still afraid to risk more money in crypto.
3526  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is crypto trading different from forex trading. on: September 28, 2021, 02:19:57 PM
There are similarities so also are some differences. The best way to learn crypto trading is to first read crypto trading textbooks. This will give you an in-depth understanding of some basic cryptocurrency terms, tools and other important things you will meet when you open a crypto trading account. You can check some of the threads I created on crypto ebooks. Once you know the basics, then you need to start by using a demo accounts. There are many platforms that offer a free demo account.
I do not really see the need to read books specialized in trading cryptocurrencies, trading is trading and the same concepts apply to all the markets, as an example while the volatility in this market is extreme any trading system should have taken this into account from the very beginning and if this was not the case then the trading system that such trader was using was incomplete, and they would have failed in any market anyway as eventually they would have made a trade which exposed themselves to too much risk.
Reading books is just like to gain some ideas but not literally it means that this could save us from losing due to the volatility of the market and both forex and crypto trading have. Though they it look different, however, TA's and all trading strategies are quite the same.

But I could say that crypto trading is more risky, not because of its volatility as they both have but it is due to the numbers of coins available in the market and if we are too lazy to make any searches and to do chart analysis, I can imagine already what will be the result, and that certainly disappointing.

3527  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your opinion on recent bull market, will it be over soon? on: September 27, 2021, 11:36:35 PM
Yes it will likely be over soon.
That seems possible as not long had last long and in fact, we have that experience before, won't surprise me either.

Quote
We probably have until January 2022, but everything afterwards is no man’s land, where only the desperate degenerates are.
Ohh, how did you know that? You can't tell what really be going to happen, nobody could ever do that even before that is the truth.

They want to keep sitting at home looking at charts, hanging out in telegram groups and disrupting the financial system and not work in a cubicle 9–5 with a boomer boss who has no clue about what’s going on in the world right now.

But they are having fun of doing it, unlike those people who keep thinking that was a toxic lifestyle. They wanted to get informed and aware of the situation, they are investing and that is very important than roaming around, drinking beers, and suddenly lose their money. But as they care about their future, they have the reason why also they have to do this unless if you are rich.
3528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The life span of bitcoin is till infinity on: September 27, 2021, 11:02:37 PM
We can't even be sure if Bitcoin will still be around after a century or two. We believe Bitcoin is the future but who really knows what the future brings we can't speculate only time will answer that question, and in my opinion when it comes to bitcoin's lifespan to infinity is a huge exaggeration, but I still hope that it will grow and become even stronger.
even that is not limited I think it could be bullshit.
everything must have its own era and including bitcoin.
maybe now is the time of bitcoin and the next few years will be the golden age of bitcoin.
but on the other hand we should have understood and seen that actually bitcoin can be said to be a trend and now the bitcoin trend is good.
but every trend that goes up will definitely go down and be replaced by a new trend.
so here. unlimited I think is too high because nothing is eternal here.

As for speculation, it remains speculation, at least it can be used as a spice when in crypto.
Yes, can't be sure about its future and the only we have is TRUST which I think it was very important when it comes to investment.

Remember that Bitcoin has come as it was planned by someone and I know someday there is someone who could make another discovery and might replace crypto, that seems possible as there is no such forever, even the existence of fiat money. That is why I don't make myself hold Bitcoin forever, I'd rather have to use and enjoy it while it still has value.
3529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: September 27, 2021, 09:22:42 PM

Have you watched Butler and Graballo's Games? if not then try checking if back their last 3 games and you can compare how good they are in their own divisions .
let us not be blinded because of Donaire and Casimero's popularity instead lets look at what are their opponent capacity to face them and the possibilities of beating them.
But then still we will find the result after the fight.
but of course I will be aiming for Casimero to win because i wan't him to face Inoue very soon .

Others are just disappointed because they only know the names of Donaire and Casimero. If they really idolize these boxers then whoever their matchup, they should just accept it. Both Donaire and Casimero just need to win on their respective match so that they can arrange again the cancelled fight between them or possible against the top 1 Naoya Inoue next.

It's also best to see that other PH boxer is on the list. Let's support them all.

They are disappointed because they like to see a match up between champions, and with this news, looks like the dream match will not happen anytime soon, instead, it will only prolong as both champions (Donaire and Casimero) will have to train again in preparation of this fight.

Most fast does not see it a competitive fight because the mandatory challenger is not popular in the boxing world.
3530  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 27, 2021, 08:49:11 PM
Despite that we don't like the politics of the league, there should still be players that won't be involved into such throw/insider game.
Can't guarantee that because even the biggest league like the NBA, there are still some rumors that games are rigged although nothing has been proven yet. If NBA can be rigged, then PBA is not an exemption as it's definitely a small league that is controlled by the rich team owners.
We know that such exists but this guy is vulgar and he's the one offered himself in. I guess it's just because he's caught and those that are uncaught, they'll stop being involved in such activities of throwing.
If it's the management like the sister teams that are giving wins to each other, that's the politics that's turning into a throw/rigged game which is really happening.
The most interesting part is that he is not even playing with the team and how come he has that information on which team will win or not. His name in the list of the SMB roster - https://www.teampilipinas.info/2021/07/san-miguel-beermen-full-lineup-game.html. so it's really true that he is only a 3 on 3 players and yet he gets this important information.
3531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of bull run so we sell everything? on: September 26, 2021, 11:43:20 PM
End of Bullrun?
No, can't say it was it is because the market is still healthy and I think we are still on that level. What we see is just a normal market correction, nothing to worried about.

@Natalim at the end of the day it's all about implementing your trading strategy as per the market movements. The only crypto I hodl is BTC , the rest of the alt coins I frequently buy and sell in portions  once it reaches my desired price point.
Bitcoin is a good coin to hold at this time especially when you have many of it. Do anybody know when the bull market is going to end? No one some I still want the op to have a good reason why he want to sell all his coin at the end of the bull market. Any person that thinks the bull market has ended can choose to sell their own share of the coin without having to think twice.
Perhaps, that was their choice either. They can do anything with their cryptos. Of course, holding isn't forever, I do selling during Bullrun and I sell Bitcoin, not because I was worried about the price to dump (which is common) but that is actually how we get profit in crypto.

3532  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it too late to buy? on: September 26, 2021, 01:29:50 PM
The market is volatile its better to keep conscious of when to buy and when to sell there are a lot of factors it's ideal if the trader must need to be updated regarding the market graph, technical analysis and with the use of indicators this kind of thing is very important to see if your money is still kept profitable or not.
Not all the time it's good to buy because it dip sometimes it's just only a trap and vice versa.
Perhaps, there is no perfect time to buy nor to sell due to its unpredictable trend and I'd never think there is such word "too" late to buy in considering the situation.

I bought coins not only in every dip but sometimes when the price spike begin. To have this decision needs some analysis and not all buying at dip has good results for some time it drops more and have it sold right away. We called it a losing trick and more often happen to newcomers.
3533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Jonas Sultan vs Carlos Caraballo - October 30, 2021 on: September 26, 2021, 08:28:44 AM
I actually think on the contrary Jonas Sultan will increase his motivation in boxing because he got the best card in boxing against Caraballo, despite the fact that in the ring Caraballo is almost on average beating his opponent under the fifth round and he always carries a trophy.

It's true that Caraballo's career in the boxing arena has not been defeated, but I think Jonas Sultan should train even harder to fight Caraballo, October 30th this is the right and good opportunity to lift Jonas Sultan's career in boxing, I'm not siding with Jonas Sultan, I remember LEWIS beat TYSON back then, all can turn around not as we imagine, factor.

I'll wait for the betting odds before I will make a conclusion, Sultan might be the underdog here because he is not a champion and his opponent has a great record, so it's again an opportunity to beat the underdog as we all know that Filipino boxers are quality boxers, and the fact that he is working under MP promotion, it adds some confidence.
3534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China says all crypto transaction are illegal on: September 25, 2021, 10:58:24 PM
Again and again we heard thes news of crypto ban from china even forcing miners out of the territory so I think these things shouldnt surprise you Thesame people banning crypto are the ones going for a digital currency so get your maths right here They might not like crypto very much but is a time thing i guess Sooner or later they will rebound all these I dont want to get involved
They keep doing this but their people are finding a way to continue mining and this government got crazy hunting their own people just for the sake of hatred and greediness. They don't have any reason why it cost like this but it was their government who think that crypto existence is a threat to their economy.

Well, that was their decision, they are free what they want and yes, it won't surprise if sooner they will welcome crypto again as they did before and ban it once again.
3535  Economy / Economics / Re: Ways to avoid being scammed!!! on: September 25, 2021, 10:24:04 PM
In other words, don't be dumb. If a random person approaches you and says that he will make you rich, then you know should know its a scam. They will always end up asking you to send them money or do something very shady for them. If you are greedy, you will fall for it and then get scammed. Ask yourself, why would a random person who you never met or know wants to help you? For your money! If any something sounds too good to be true, then you know...
sounds harsh, but it seems to be true.
actually when it happens when there are people who offer a high enough profit and make us rich, logically it is unacceptable. if this is true, it will serve as one of the options to make us billionaires, why should they bother looking for strangers to offer because they also have family, relatives and maybe even friends.
this is completely incomprehensible to me, and what makes it even more strange is that so many people still believe in this kind of thing.
That is the truth behind those attractive and promising words, most and usually, all of them are a scam trick which we have to be careful enough. Their targets are those who come innocents and greedy people, they definitely had to win and find success as many people are still leaving that kind of attitude.

To ignore them is the best way to stop such scamming activities. We all need money but that kind of colorful word is something out of the reality which I think it was pretty obvious to understand. I really don't understand why many people still become a victim to this.
3536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: September 24, 2021, 09:29:14 PM
Casimero is always confident, which sometimes seems to be a disadvantage to him. Though casimero will always go for the KO, and always will aim for an early-round knockout. Though, Butler, on the other hand, is a great fighter a well-rounded one as well. Both have the same dynamics, which is to be aggressive but as I see it Casimero has an edge in this one 'coz of his power punches and those sneaky uppercuts.

Hopefully, he could finish the fight early and via TKO/KO just to make another statement and aim for Inoue. Casimero vs Donaire is definitely out of the picture, it seems that they an irreconcilable issues during the last talk. If Casimero vs Inoue is booked, I'll be damn.
If Casimero really wants to fight Inoue, this could be his chance and he must win on this or else many will trash talk him as well, the attitude that he have should be more positive every time on the ring to avoid any mistakes and aim for another KO. Butler also have a good record under his name, he’s not an easy one but hopefully Casimero will finish this fight early.
Casimero would always want to fight Inoue, we thought that the fight will happen this December but suddenly this news came out and that will not happen anymore as it's a mandatory fight for him. Casimero and Inoue had already agreed that they will fight, but Casimero has to take care of this first and we might see them next year having a big fight.
3537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 24, 2021, 08:37:05 PM

Last game, Pringle, C. Stand, and Tenorio all played over 40 minutes, I can see the fatigue here and I think it's gonna be a low scoring game as the Ginebra despite being undermanned will try to win this game, however, trying is not enough if they missed two of their huge contributor.

This is a good point, and probably I will take the under because the Ginebra will have to slow down here so these 3 players will not gas out in the end. It's just a one day rest and they are back again, worst is they are in a situation where they could be eliminated if they lose this game.
3538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good Time to Buy? on: September 24, 2021, 02:50:54 PM
Hello. All. Now the BTC Crash approx 10 - 15 % while alts also dip approx 10% I mean the whole market feel Bloodbath Today. Is it a good time to buy Alts? or wait for sometime?
This is how it looks...
You buy now and then think for a profit later. But what if the market corrections will continue? That is something we put into some consideration but these few corrections will imply that it was an opportunity to buy more, not to sell. So my answer is YES. We can't be sure of what will happen after these corrections either it will go up or continue to dump. It's all in between but I have the trust that buying potential coins will have a bigger chance to recover and that is why I'd never feel such worries even the decline will continue.
3539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China issue a nationwide ban on cryptocurrency mining, on: September 24, 2021, 01:37:38 PM
That's a BS, they're obviously trying to make way for their digital yuan that's why they're cracking down on crypto and masking it as a protection from financial risk which isn't a thing that can happen when you're not greedy when you get into crypto.
Well, we have nothing to do with this. China is definitely doesn't want crypto anymore and this another set of the ban issued to all crypto mining industry has a huge impact on the market. I'm not sure if this will address their concern of protecting their economy. I don't find this a simple attempt to combat the spread of crypto but this was so-called greediness in power and they have to do everything just to put an end.

I'll expect a price fall not today but in the coming days unless if people would never think of this as a big issue that leads to worries.
3540  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: September 24, 2021, 09:07:12 AM
Let these fighters fight at their own will, it seems that they're not having their own willingness to do so. If they're confident to take the match then so be it, no aggressive offer should be given to any one of them. Once a boxer find a good mood and his capacity for fighting his potential opponent would technically be drawn over by his power, I guess with no hesitation their fight would commence successfully.

But remember that they work with promoters, networks and world governing bodies. So you can't just go ask and fight anyone in the ring. There has to be some kind of model here so that everyone will make money as others have been saying, boxing is also a big business right now.

So eventually, Casimero will have no options, unless he wanted to be strip of his belt by WBO. And this is a good fight for Casimero specially if he knocks out Butler or win in a good fashion.

Well, I have no doubt on the skills of Casimero, if Butler is really good then he should really give Casimero a problem and that is by being aggressive in the fight. We have not seen Casimero struggle against his opponent yet if his opponent is just waiting to trade punches with him, so probably this is the time.

Paul Butler is aggressive, he is not afraid to lose and this is his big break if he wins against Casimero, so it should be an interesting fight to watch.
