he is quite witty in fairness because he actually participate on the the discussion but sneakily include the link in his post.
He doesn't engage in discussion. He just makes posts with a couple of sentences and then adds a link to coinpedia and goes on to the next topic, just like all the previously banned accounts have been doing.

However, it is still a clear sign of shilling/illegal advertising thus need to be reported. With regards of the ban evading accusation, I'm still not sure of that because I can't see proof (so far) which we can relate to OP's posted profile.
The proof is there. The sole purpose of the profile is to only advertise coinpedia just like the previously banned accounts. I don't think any stranger would register on bitcointalk and then start off by linking all the contents of their posts to coinpedia without being affiliated to them.
3542  Other / Meta / Re: Advertising shiller spotted! on: September 05, 2020, 10:59:15 PM
The coinpedia guy seem to be very persistent and is back again with their usual spam. This time round they are trying to hide in the alternate cryptocurrencies boards.

Hope they get banned once again for evading ban.
3543  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: There is no ceiling or floor on: September 05, 2020, 10:30:22 PM
I think the $50k value is very practical considering where we are now from where we were before. Right now bears are trying hard but bulls are stronger. $BTC has a huge resistance from $12,500 to $13,800. Once the market will settle above that range then we will see a new ATH in no time.
$50K is very achievable for BTC. I recently saw how some DeFi token (i think it called Yearn Finance token) smashed past $30K towards $40K in a matter of days before correcting to the region of $20K currently.

If less known tokens that were just born out if the DeFi hype can do it, then why not bitcoin?

Newbies should know when to buy bitcoin (buying the dips) to avoid disappointment of buying when the price is already up and is about to correct.
3544  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Constant BTC fee on JaxxLiberty wallet on: September 05, 2020, 08:41:04 PM
Changing the miner fees on Jaxx is not as flexible as you would do on a wallet like electrum. You can change the miner fees through settings but the fee levels are still fixed under 3 levels. So you won't be able to chose which exact fee you want such as 1 sat/byte like you can do in electrum.
1. Higher (Fast)
2. Typical (Average)
3. Lower (slow)

To change set the fee level you would love;
- Open your Jaxx Liberty App
- Click on the Menu button (The one with 3 horizontal lines on the top right of the app)
- Select Customization and then select Mining fees
- There you will be able to select the fee level of your preference.

3545  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help with wallet and address distribution needed on: September 04, 2020, 11:02:38 PM
Thanks for the reply, yes I can do it at 1sat/b. But even on Sundays it's not reliable. It won't get picked up any sooner. Also, once they have thier hands on coins they wouldn't hesitate to give it a go, asking them to wait for sunday just to demo won't be looking good. Not many wallets allow customising fee, even if they do these people won't be able to set it and eventually end up losing a large portion of it.

I am still looking for a solution.
As i said it's not a guarantee but it's worth a shot as it works in most weekends(almost 90% of them). I remember having mine getting confirmed a couple of Sundays back. So long as the transactions are going to be included in the Bitcoin Blocks. It's the only way you can make sure you pay fewer bitcoin transaction fees.

It's part of the learning process. This will help them understand how bitcoin transaction fees are determined and to always go for the best wallet that can allow them to customize fees like electrum.

Anyway i hope you get another easy way out.
3546  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help with wallet and address distribution needed on: September 04, 2020, 08:49:03 PM
You could try sending out the transactions to the addresses at a fee of 1 sat per byte when the mempool has cleared especially on weekends so that they can get confirmed with a few hours. You can also encourage them to carry out transactions on Sundays. It's not a guarantee but the fee to get the transaction confirmed quickly is always much lower on Sundays.

Just make sure your transaction does not have multiple outputs and multiple inputs or else your transaction size might get bigger and you may end up paying more miner fees even at 1 sat per byte

These threads should be able to guide you on how you can avoid paying hefty fees
- [Aug 2020] Fees are low, use this opportunity to Consolidate your small inputs!
- Bitcoin transaction fees (in sats/kb). Sunday, Saturday are best to move BTC
3547  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How long does it need to confirm a transaction on: September 03, 2020, 01:13:57 PM
Also in getting curious too because OP opens this kind of topic.

What is the preferred transaction fee?
How long you will wait if you make a 1 sat/byte?
Also, can someone help me with the use of this mempool?

Most of the time I'm taking transaction with my wallet and there is only fix transaction fee and I'm getting curious talking about some these sat per byte.

JeromeTash is right, you need to wait longer time until the network is not congested or you use replace by fee.
Also is there are specific time which prefer to make a transactions?

1. The optimal transaction fee keeps changing every minute depending on how many unconfirmed transactions keep piling up in the mempool. So best way to get the best current transaction fee is by looking at mempool observers like https://mempool.space

2. Again depending on the state of the network it could get confirmed within minutes to a week or so. If you sent out BTC at that transaction fee rate right now, you could have to wait for days before it gets confirmed because there are so many uncomfirmed transactions with higher fee rates than your of 1 sat/byte that have to first be included in blocks by miners.

3. What kind of wallet are you using?
You could read more about mempool to have a clear understanding of what it is  Wink

4. Lately, Saturdays and Sundays are the days when bitcoin fees are usually at the lowest because the mempool is usually less congested during those days. You can easily get your 1 sat/byte transaction get confirmed unlike weekdays.

3548  Economy / Reputation / Re: Thread starter deleted my post because project can't prove their legitimacy? on: September 03, 2020, 08:21:16 AM
Dear cheezcarls.

I am sorry for deleting your comment on Bfine thread. It was a bounty thread where we were asking for videos regarding project. I deleted post just coz I thought it was not related to bounty. I shouldnt have done that.
Your question are legitimate. The project is in its initials stages and whitepaper is in progress, it will be updated on site soon. It's better to wait rather place a copied whitepaper on site. I have conveyed message to owner regarding placing team members profile on site.
Feel free to ask for anyother question you have here or on thread.
Regards

I am someone flexible with feedback. It's on case by case basis. I would like you to address the concerns that were raised by @cheezcarls. Shouldn't be hard if the project is legitimate.

If the project is in its initial stages, they why the hurry to promote it? Shouldn't people invest their time and money in something they can read and understand clearly about from the whitepaper?
3549  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How long does it need to confirm a transaction on: September 02, 2020, 07:41:32 PM
It probably means you transaction fee was very low. If your transaction is Replace-by-fee(RBF) enabled, you can bump/increase the transaction fee to have it confirmed quicker.

The average time for bitcoin block confirmation is ~10 minutes but the time van vary from within seconds of confirmation of the previous block to several minutes. For your transaction to be included in the next block, the fee has to be sufficient enough at that given time for a miner to prioritize it.

This tool can help you visualize the optimal bitcoin transaction fees live: https://mempool.space
3550  Economy / Reputation / Re: Thread starter deleted my post because project can't prove their legitimacy? on: September 02, 2020, 06:45:47 PM
I have added my negative feedback to the thread starter. What he portrayed was nothing short of a scam promoter. Deleting questions and concerns from anyone who tries to inquire about the legitimacy of the project means that they are trying to hide something and therefore are not to be trusted.
I hope genuine newbies don't fall for the suspicious project and bounty.
3551  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Question About Using Blockchain.com Website on: September 02, 2020, 04:38:09 PM
The purpose of me using the blockchain wallet is to receive funds. Yes, for holding funds.
Use a much better software wallet like electrum (https://electrum.org) where you have full control of your private keys or seed phrase and therefore, full control of your account, and you don't have to log in like the blockchain web wallet.

Sometimes the Log in authentication emails never arrive in your mailbox making it unable to access your account. Just look at the complaints in this board and see the pain a lot of blockchain.com users go through
1. Blockchain.com wallet issue
2. Problem with my Blockchain New
3. Blockchain.info Wallet I.D
4. Disabling Email Authorization for a blockchain account
5. blockchain.com - new scam - holding bitcoins for 7 days
3552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to send Bitcoin quickly on: September 02, 2020, 02:50:27 PM
It would be much better if you shared the transaction ID here so that we can try to find out if the transaction;
1.  Has already been confirmed or not
2.  Was Replace-by-Fee(RBF) enabled or not

This can help members suggest to you the best way that transaction confirmed quickly.
3553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with crypto news (DEFI with Y)!! on: September 01, 2020, 10:16:20 PM
Currently, we are all concerned with an incredible escalation of (DEFI with Y) Angry the new cryptos of the future like (yearn.finance) several projects are currently in progress or in creation, But today I fear a huge scam that will happen because the prices suddenly explode so that doesn't even have an exchange or liquid just a pump going up and going down Sad
I don't know if you were following crypto in 2017 but this is kind of simillar to the Ether token trend back then when Ether started making headlines. we would have scam tokens like ethereum Dark, ethereum blue, EBTC, EBCH, Ethereum lite all spike in price but with no real project backing behind them. What happened later would teach a lot if newbies lessons back then never to throw money on random tokens anyhowly.

How can Uniswap accept this thing?
That's the cost of decentralization. there is literally no one in control of what gets listed there just like EtherDelta in the old days.
3554  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Loses to invest in Bitcoin, back to Bitcointalk on: September 01, 2020, 09:26:38 PM
I have registered for a Bitcointalk account for a long time, but because I don't understand it, I leave.

However, I still invest in Bitcoin. But it often fails. This is what made me return to my Bitcointalk account.
Here is my advice.
Always plan for the future. Don't look at the short game. Ask yourself, what happens when bounties stop being valuable or stop giving you enough decent money?

Knowledge is power, when you have knowledge, you can always continue earning even long way after the bounties have stopped being a source of incoming. You said you have often failed whenever you invested in BTC, I believe what you are trying to say is you have always failed at trading. Use those mistakes you made as a lesson and strive to learn and practice more trading. With time, you will be good at it and it will help you make some decent money in the long ran unlike bounties.
3555  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bittrex disabled my account on: September 01, 2020, 08:16:18 PM
It looks like they have been blocking so many people's accounts for a while now and their support is so shitty. Only support should be able to tell you how long you have to wait for your account to be reactivated but basing on the complaints, you would really be lucky if your account was reactivated

Check their official thread and see how many complaints are in there especially the last pages; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=463202
3556  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What are some trusted known web wallet on: September 01, 2020, 07:46:36 PM
I know about blockchain.com to be the non custodial web wallet, I can't remember if I had seen any other non custodial web wallet.
If blockchain.com is a noncustodial web wallet then why are we having so many complaints about user funds getting blocked and sometimes users are not able to access their assets due to failure to get login verification?

Some more wallet which you might be looking for that I know are
1. Guarda Wallet - https://guarda.com
2. Bitamp Wallet - https://www.bitamp.com

All claim to be open source. maybe you can check and read more about them
3557  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitmain.best SCAM Website Review on: September 01, 2020, 03:08:35 PM
Absolute scam. They just copied and pasted parts from Bitmain's official website.
One dead giveaway on this scam domains is the domain extension that's always weird and funny like "best" "xyz" probably because such extension are cheap for scammers
3558  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum wallet user Lost $16M in Bitcoin. on: September 01, 2020, 02:48:38 PM
Is Binance's CEO fudding on Electrum for some reason? Tongue
There's a possibility
As far as I know there is a one trust wallet that was acquired by binance. So yeah, he could be fudding but not in a direct way because he knows that if he does it directly. He would face a lot of backlash  Cheesy

I mean why else would be so concerned about the 1400 BTC. It's not like it's the highest amount that has ever been lost to hackers.
3559  Economy / Reputation / Re: What can I do to remove a neg tag? on: September 01, 2020, 02:21:50 PM
The feedback doesn't matter because the user in question is nowhere near DT as of now. It should be an issue once he's on DT. If he refuses to remove the feedback then other DT members would have to exclude him after their judgement of the feedback left by him. That's the best members can do to help you once ChiNgadOr gets to be part of DT but until then, there's nothing to worry about.

Here is his latest custom trust list from Loyce.club

That's what I was wondering as well--and I swear I thought that user was inactive since I haven't seen any of his posts in a long time, but apparently not.  His last activity was yesterday, but the last post I could view on his profile was from April.  That could be because I have a lot of sections on ignore, but has ChiNdgadOr been posting on the forum lately?  He might not even see this thread.

He was also banned then unbanned at one point according to bpip.
3560  Economy / Services / Re: hourlyminer on: September 01, 2020, 09:39:51 AM
Yes, this is a guaranteed token
BTC
The BTC maybe guaranteed but I don't think anybody is going to risk their reputation to promote a project that has been recognized as a ponzi scheme, certainly not on bitcointalk. Here, any Ponzi scheme = Scam because no matter how much they promise to pay, they eventually collapse after losing the hype and fail to pay the late "investors"
