Quarantine
The providers in this category have been offering their services for quite some time now, but issues are reported by users from time to time.

Advcash
Why?
The Advcash thread was full of complains when I added the serive in this section. Plus some bad news here and there like this post on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/4qbxft/advcash_card_cloned_us4685_usd_stolen_trouble/

If you've got any personal experience with Advcash that says otherwise feel free to share. I change the thread based on community feedback as I can't keep testin all cards actively on my own.
3542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tethers actually worth $0.94? on: January 08, 2017, 12:52:22 PM
I think that you might be mistakenly correlating the total Liabilities with issued Tethers. The Authorized but not issued variable is a key to this equasion. Tether's value is 1$ and will remain like this [as long as liabilities keep being honoured].
3543  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do against massive PayPal chargeback? on: January 08, 2017, 12:46:57 PM
If collection agencies were involved, I really don't think that the forum could be of any help to you. We don't know your jurisdiction and can't (or better should not have) full access to your evidence to help you built a better case. I think that the most responsible think you could to is talk to a lawyer said to have experience with e-money. It'd be a good counter-defense since the other party also got agencies involved.
3544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People's Bank of China hammer the Bitcoin on: January 08, 2017, 12:40:01 PM
If People's Bank of China wanted to hammer bitcoin they could've done so much earlier but it's questionable if such an attempt would have had any impact in bitcoin's functionality as the Chinese users are probably already tech savy enough to keep using cryptocurrencies. The probable effect would have been the de-legitimization of bitcoin centered businesses but then again, this would have been much easier for a central bank.

I think that the outcome of the recent rally was much simpler than the narrative talking about China wants to portray it. Massive profit taking took place and whales crashed the market. Such sell orders aren't organic and likely come from big players or even outright market mnipulators.
3545  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopay Bitcoin Debit card + Giveaway on: January 08, 2017, 12:29:00 PM
What happens if the card is charged and the balance on the card is 0 or less than the charge? Would my account go into negative balance, or would it be blocked? I currently have a card want want to use it to keep a spending budget, but being able to go over kinda ruins the whole point. Would it be blocked in both POS and online? (or neither)
I've never seen a bitcoin debit card get overcharged and go into negative balances. This is only an (anti-)feature I've seen with cards issued by american-based banks. I'm sure that you'll be safe in that regard. Moreover, there's no nefarious credit score system for bitcoin debit cards so issuing banks have nothing to gain froma allowing cards loaded by bitcoin to be overcharged.
3546  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 💳 Virtual VISA Card ✅ 0.50$ 🚀 Instant delivery 🅿️ PayPal-ready on: January 08, 2017, 12:23:53 PM
Well I got what I wanted in the end- I had just enough for some windows tablet pc on aliexpress and I saw no other quicker way I was going to get my money back so I bought it. Pretty bad site and support but I guess that's to be expected from such services.

Card does not work on eBay, Amazon, or pretty much any major retailer. Definitely won't be using this one anytime soon.
Most virtual bitcoin debit cards do not support 3-D Secure which sadly is a requirement in many of those websites. The sollution is to use the card through a payment processor like paypal and search for websites that accept card payments through it. In Aliexpress' case it's AliPay.
3547  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: 🌟🌟🌟 LYNDA.COM PREMIUM ★ $2.99 ★ CHEAPEST ON BCT ★ [HERO VOUCHED] 🌟🌟🌟 on: January 08, 2017, 12:21:22 PM
Got a vouch from OP. The account login happens through lynda.com and account customization process is extra fast after receiving the details. I had the changce to login with the given credidentials and change my account's name and email.

Other "premiun" lynda account services here make users login through proxies and therefore the login form and course videos load slow but OP's service is extra fast as logins happen directly through the main website. OFC accounts work as expected, plus OP was fast in delivering the details. I'd recomend this service.

I just got a vouch account from OP and it works perfectly. His method works wonders and he was super fact with the account's delivery after I sent the required info. Grammarly accounts work as expected and OP seems profesional so I'd recomend his services.
3549  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: Selling Full Minecraft Account Access (Can change email) on: January 08, 2017, 11:20:58 AM
Alright, I got the account. I'm able to log in to mojang/minecraft websites. I downloaded the client and downloade the game with the account and succesfull authenticate to official servers. Changing the password is also possible.

OP's reply waw fast and included nesseccery info. I'd recomend his services.
3550  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Generate former Adresse after restore on: January 08, 2017, 11:01:46 AM
If you have the private key, you'll get the address. If you don't, you won't be able to re-generate it, that'd be impossible.

If the address is still in your wallet, chose "Backup this wallet" in Armory and after that pick "Export Key lists", only check "Private Key (Plain Base58)" which is what you need and "Omit spaces in key data". You can then copy-paste private keys to recover addresses into other wallets and whatnot.
3551  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: Selling Full Minecraft Account Access (Can change email) on: January 08, 2017, 10:53:33 AM
Full access minecraft accounts sound interesting. I'd be interested to receive and review one wih a honest and impartial review. Are there any vouches available?
3552  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 💳 Virtual VISA Card ✅ 0.50$ 🚀 Instant delivery 🅿️ PayPal-ready on: January 08, 2017, 10:46:03 AM
yeah, thank you, you're right.
I really wanted to load more, but I am glad I didn't Grin
No worries. There are more options though, I have a thread list of bitcoin debit cards, you should check it out if you're interested in other alternatives.
3553  Economy / Economics / Re: What influences the Bitcoin marketplace? on: January 08, 2017, 10:43:47 AM
Bitcoin markets are influenced by demand. It's likely that all price rises have in some way or another been influenced by large players, that urged more traders to chip in by manipulating prices. The more recent rally created a perfect playfield for market manypulators as it's obvious that big players were the ones that crashed the market by cashing out. See Image:

Isn't that one of the greatest sell offs in bitcoin's history? And to think that the build up to it was more of a collective rise, whales made too much money from this rally.
3554  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 💳 Virtual VISA Card ✅ 0.50$ 🚀 Instant delivery 🅿️ PayPal-ready on: January 08, 2017, 10:36:02 AM
This guy isn't responding by mails or anything else.
I think he's preparing to go out with money
Oh, ok then. Grin
1$ is not a big tragedy. Grin
I especially wanted to check everything, before serious deposits, how the card works, how the support works...
A bit sad, but looks like I can not trust well to that service. But the card is nice, I've checked it on Google Play, works good.
I wanted to top up it and pay for my hosting, etc... but anyway it's always risk and no way to get the money back....
...so I dont think I'll do it... if the support so... quiet.... Grin
You're right about 1$ not being much but this card isn't really worth it for long term use because variation from market rates is so great that users would essentially be losing money each time they load the card.
3555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your new year start in gambling! on: January 07, 2017, 09:29:23 PM
I think that this is a bad mindset to enter the new year with. Im my opinion, gambling shouldn't be a big part of someone's life so I wouldn't be in a rush to gamble for a new start in the beginning of a new year. I think that it's only safe to gamble healthy amounts so that it wouldn't make a difference either way.
3556  Economy / Digital goods / Re: *** LEAKED GUIDE BY BITCOIN THIEF *** SELLS ON ALPHABAY FOR $700 - Get for £10 on: January 07, 2017, 05:50:36 PM
Aight then

selling plenty copies daily mate

*** HERO MEMBERS HAVE VOUCHED AND ALSO FULL MEMBERS - PRICE WILL BE GOING UP TO $100 AFTER 20 SOLD ***
But the above two statements aren't exactly compatible  Tongue. You might want to revamp your marketing a bit.
3557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Markets Update: The New Year’s Cryptocurrency Rollercoaster on: January 07, 2017, 05:32:57 PM
One could say that this was yet another bubble, like the one observed in 2013... But the recent rally left us with some of the largest trading volumes bitcoin has seen and hindsight that bull rallies can be achieved collectively among a bullish market sentiment in BTC/USD markets.
3558  Economy / Digital goods / Re: *** LEAKED GUIDE BY BITCOIN THIEF *** SELLS ON ALPHABAY FOR $700 - Get for £10 on: January 07, 2017, 05:25:20 PM
OP makes some interesting claims and I'd be interested to review such a product if he's willing to send a vouch copy. I'll do my best to post a honest review.
3559  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prepare for another year or two of dramatic decline. on: January 07, 2017, 04:01:13 PM
I don't think that seeing a prolongued continuation to the bearish market sentiment would be too unlikely but not as long as two years either. The market showcased that its capable of huge trading volumes and something that people might have overlooked is that coinmarketcap.com 24h BTC/USD volumes surpassed $0.5b, which could be a new record in terms of trading volumes.
3560  Other / Archival / Re: Create Lynda Premium Lifetime Accounts for free (10 Sales) Only 1$ on: January 07, 2017, 02:43:06 PM
One dollar isn't much but this method is public and pretty easy to be done by anyone with half a brain. Just sayin...

Also, while it isn't exactly illegal, the method abuses public services to get the 'free' account.
