Choose your pick now before the line moves.

Even with the twice to beat advantage, Magnolia is still the favorite to win the game.

Tempting to bet on Phoenix ML at 2.15 but because Magnolia is in do or die situation, they might be the one that is more dedicated to win the game as Phoenix might have a mindset that because in an event of loss, there is still have a chance for them.

Under 184.5 at 1.92 is tempting too. Hmmm..

This match-up is bitter sweet for me as i'm rooting for Magnolia to win the championship but i am also want Phoenix to fight in the finals as this season is their best chance to be PBA champion.

Anyways, liike you said Phoenix might have a different mindset on today's game different from that of Magnolia as their backs are against the wall so with that my bet is Magnolia -3.5 1.93.

For the record, Magnolia is on twice-to-beat disadvantage, they need to win two games before proceeding to the semis.

The odds for SMB is very tempting.

Game 1 SMB vs Meralco.. 1.88 for SMB.
What do you think with this odds, is it trap so everyone will lose in the game, or it's just a fair betting odds with no intention for a trap?

SMB bettors, anyone here?

Meralco lead the first half, 40-31, but it's good that SMB where able to come back after being  down by 16 points. The reason why the line drop for SMB is because Cabagnot is not available in this game, he is in the injured list, but SMB still has to win this game if they don't want to be in a tough situation in game 2.

Not a good game for SMB, it was Meralco who are in control of the game and the way SMB are playing, it looks like they don't have the energy to win. I was watching the whole game, I can't remember if SMB has really led once in the entire duration of the game.

Congratulations to Meralco for pushing a do or die game on Sunday.

My gamble paid off hehe. In this kind of situation, the character of the Beermen will be tested and for me without Fajardo they are not the same championship team. I would not hesitate to bet again for the Bolts on their do or die game this Sunday, they don't have that "go to guy" when they need point to extinguish opponent hot run.

3543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant Super Middleweight Title on: November 13, 2020, 08:35:55 AM
I don't know if this fight will push through as there are another name floating around, Callum Smith.

https://www.badlefthook.com/2020/11/11/21561767/canelo-alvarez-next-fight-set-callum-smith-texas-december-2020-dazn-boxing-news

Quote
Canelo Alvarez to face Callum Smith in December, DAZN could still carry fight

The Canelo Alvarez sweepstakes may be quickly over, and a fight that has been a lot of fans’ desired bout for the Mexican superstar may be happening.

ESPN’s Salvador Rodriguez reports that Alvarez will be facing Callum Smith in December in Texas. There had been earlier speculation that Caleb Plant could get the call, and Billy Joe Saunders’ name was brought up again, too, but it looks as though it will be Smith.

The date will be either Dec. 18, 19, or 20 — that’s Friday through Sunday — and the location will be in Texas, either AT&T Stadium in Arlington or the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Still, doesn't change the odds, it will still favour Alvarez no matter who he faces right now.

We will just wait for the official announcement though.

Thanks for this information mate, will just update the OP if there is already an official announcement of a Canelo vs Smith fight. They way i look at it, seems that Smith is likely to be the opponent of Canelo this December but still the same, Canelo have the advantage of this fight.

I was about to make this post but when I checked on their website, it's not actually the Magnolia vs TNT will play, it's Phoenix vs Magnolia.

I also got twisted in those recent posts as I checked the final standing last night, it should be Phoenix vs Magnolia. TNT will face ACES.

As for the speculation, as much as I like to win Phoenix (like to see a non-San Miguel team in the Finals), dealing with Magnolia is really tough even they have the twice-to-beat advantage. But since they just need to win one, they should put all their best in one game and try not to have another game with them.

Tip-off on Saturday so odds for these game is not yet released.

There's plenty of defender from the Magnolia Hotshots that could slow down, Wright and Abueva, and in center position, I think they have the advantage as well as they have a tall Reavis though not on his prime already. If I will have to bet, I would go for Magnolia all in in the first game.

Tough hill to climb for the Phoenix Super LPG, Magnolia though they are on a twice-to-beat disadvantage but still they are the favorites to win this match-up, don't know how bookies will put the odds but i'm guessing that they will write Phoenix as the slight favorite.

Reavis contribution on the team is his experience and he is a good defender too. The main guy for the Hotshots is Ian Sangalang, no big from Phoenix could match his strength on the middle.
3545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippines Allows Land-Based Casinos to Accept Bets Online on: November 11, 2020, 01:33:16 PM
I envy Phillipinean because their gambling sector is growing, unlike Indonesia, which still lives in the stone age.

Gambling sector contributed a lot in the Philippine economy that is why they are the ones given priority to operate in this time of pandemic.

But I don't see this news is significant since you guys already have many online casinos (Dafabet et al.), plus KYC is usually mandatory there, which is lame.
I mean, crypto users would rather play in anon casinos.

I'm a sports gambler and usually bet with my colleagues as i found betting on casino is a hassle, you need to be there in the casino physically.  If majority of the gamblers in this country  would found out about this online crypto casino, i think they will stay away from physical casino, no hassle and you can gamble anonymous.

I think I'm going to tail with your pick, these teams have been playing with a little rest so it's just right to bet on the under.

Yesterday, the under was 2-1, so under is still the trend in the bubble, no sense of betting the opposite here.

I've lost my two bets yesterday and if you have tailed, i'm sorry mate Sad, just got no luck on yesterday's ballgame. We are on target in terms of total score in the first game but the breaks of the game just belong to ROS, seems to me that TNT lack the focus on the final minute of that game while SMB seemed can't missed a bucket, very high scoring game.

On today's game, the low scoring is back again, well, the first game was a real high scoring game, but the next 2 games it went under and it looks like the Phoenix vs ROS is also a low scoring game.

The game looks dictated by the Phoenix, hence it's a fast pace since Phoenix is a team who is not afraid of shooting 3.

It's already over/under 181.5 now, the pregame line was 173.5 I guess, can't fully remember it but it looks like that.

in the 2nd half, we will see if ROS still has an energy since it's a back to back game for them.

It's 174.5 in the pre-game, i think it would be over this time.

I like ROS to win so we will have 7-way tie on the second spot, it's first time in history if i'm correct. If ROS would win they will climb on the no.2 spot, that would be interesting  Smiley but like you said, the game is dictated by Phoenix so ROS need to level up their effort in the second half.

Both teams would want to win here as they are looking for an opportunity of twice to beat advantage, so let's see who will be victorious in the end. It seems like ROS are really competing well with Phoenix, they tied the game now and this is what I like to see, though I bet on the Phoenix -2.5 live.

Hopefully it will hit and I'm make some good bucks tonight.  Grin

End of third quarter and ROS is on the driver's seat with a score of 66-59 and it's now back on the under 174.5. Seems we are heading into history i think if the trend continues but i hope it won't as i made my bet on Phoenix +4.5 hehe.

3549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 10, 2020, 11:32:50 AM
Best tip is to bet in games you're well aware or have knowledge on. That's one of the primary reasons you're losing because there's no point in diversifying on many bets if you don't know which team has more high probability to win.
Also try different sites that has more straight forward mechanics to win.

For me this is the best tip to give to someone who want to win or at least minimize his loses. In basketball for example, bet only on the league which you are well aware of, it could be a local league or a national league in your country. This way, you are more familiar and acquainted of the players and also you are well aware of their health.

Kakainggit naman kayo ,ako as in walang hawak  pero shitcoin madami.

3551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on gambling casinos on: November 09, 2020, 09:41:27 PM
Imagine winning a big jackpot and they asked for you to conduct KYC but they are not licensed.

If you are a gambler  then you should be ready for this scenario. For me a jackpot that is worth my KYC then i would do it but you have to do your thing first before this scenario happens in your life, look for an online casino which have license and not with the unlicensed one and better yet don't break their rules.
3552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 09, 2020, 09:15:41 PM
I'll go all in; in Ginebra. Look at the past highlights of the players of Ginebra in these past games, they have a good play. There is also a improvement in terms of individual strength where in Pringle and Aguilar improve in these current league. I hope their momentum will not yet die and for sure it will be a big win for them Dyip is still lacking something and for me they still need a new roster in order to be competitive in the current league.
Nice choice we all know that the teams had a good line up and this match has higher odds for DYIP.

However, betting if the team is clearly will going to lose in the match the bets will favor on lower odds. The result of which winnings could be so little too and that will not be a good profit to receive. Anyway, as long as we enjoy the process in betting getting into excitement and fun then there is no problem with that.

Ginebra have won this game by a huge margin which is 22 points, so if you bet on Ginebra point spread or Moneyline, you win.
Also, I would like to congratulate @bisdak40 for winning his bet which is under 194.5, the game ended with only 182 total points for both teams.

Thanks mate, i thought i would lose that one as they got high score in the first half. That was a game of runs, luckily for the Gin Masters they weathered the storm. I could have won bigger if i bet for Ginebra and under 194.5  Grin but that's okay.

Back to double header today and must win for the favorites so i'm going for them and with the totals also. Here's my Bet,

TNT Katropa and under 179.5 2.47

San Miguel Beermen and under 192.5 2.34

North Port does not have a good story tell in this PBA bubble even though they got the best big man at the moment, i think they are tanking for this coming PBA draft.
3553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: November 09, 2020, 11:40:16 AM
But why are you mixing popularity and athletic performance? I respect both of them in Conor, but he is not great either there or there. Time will pass and another show-man will repeat the same tricks. There is demand and there will be supply, people are willing to pay for the show.

As long as people are willing to pay to watch the right, we will certainly see the same kind of rare fight, but it will not be rare in the future as it will be repeated. Boxing has not been as it was before, it's now all about the money now and they would be willing to break that principle for the money.

True, Conor is a boxer, he got some license, but to get big fight with some legendary fighter, I think fans would think that there's someone out there that is deserving to fight Manny, not an amateur boxer in reality.

It would be much more interesting for me if Connor had fought not with a top boxer ending his career, but with one of those who are just starting their way up and have good statistics like 10-0 or 15-0. I think Connor would have been beaten very easily and his fans would have been disappointed as a regular boxer would have done it, not a legendary one.

If Connor is to fight a young and unknown boxer, there would be no money on it and fans will not buy it. For me, the reason why Connor floated the idea of this fight is because of the money involve. This exhibition fight if push through is just for money and beneficial for both health-wise as the chance of one fighter hurting the other is slim.
3554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: November 09, 2020, 11:09:32 AM
Watching this one now, both teams are playing hard to win, it's a close game so far.

Very close indeed and it went into overtime with Alaska winning the ball game. With the loss, NLEX is on a brink of elimination, they need to win their last game and hope that ROS would lost it's remaining two games also to have at least a playoff for the last spot.

Next game is up, DYIP vs GSM. I will not bet on the winner but i'm going for the under 194.5.
3555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Haney vs Gamboa WBC World Lightweight Title on: November 08, 2020, 05:09:19 AM
This was kind of a disappointing performance by Haney. He had a perfect opponent to look spectacular against and it turned out to be a snoozefest. I do not see him beating a Teofimo Lopez or Lomachenko. He might not even get a chance to fight those guys since he is not marketable and hasn't looked impressive enough for those fighters to consider him an interesting opponent.

You also give credit to Gamboa, he is a tough nut to crack. Though he is there just to survive but it's the lack of commitment by Haney to knockout Gamboa, he is just playing safe IMO.

Anyways, thanks to Gamboa, i won my bet @3.0 lol.

What a boring fight, I was expecting a KO but then nothing happened, look like both boxers are playing safe.

By the way @bisdak40 , what kind of bet gave you a @3 win?

I bet for Haney via Unanimous decision.

I have posted this above though my bet has not been settled yet but it is a win already.
