i really don't think your personal information would be safe to them i think only licensed casino are the only ones who can ask for kyc this kind of casinos are not regulated so why are they going to get your personal information.

What's the name of this Casino ?
And how did you found it ?
If a company is not licensed (whether it's a casino or not) and start enforce KYC for its users, then this should rise red flags to everybody who wants to use it. Stay away from this Casino, there is a great possibility that you will lose your savings and your personal info being sold too .

My general advice is to avoid casinos that don't have the licence. It's not just that your personal data are not safe but your funds as well. And if something goes wrong you don't have any kind of legal protection. I think there is a great choice of legal, trustworthy casinos so better choose one of them.

You would all able to avoid these headaches if you do just simply stick out to those casinos which are credible or been known on paying up users even winning up some big amounts.
There are lots of them actually that do currently existing and it isnt really that something that it is licensed or what because ive known some of them arent but still paying
up their users without any problem or issues and about Kyc then majority of casinos now excluding fiat casinos where there is stated that they can really ask out verification
but in most cases these things would be asked if theres something wrong into your winning or gambling activity but if theres none then you would surely be having
some suspicions.

This is an important point that will be discussed. For me, it always starts with the reputation of a casino. And the foundation must be that it has a valid license.

If you won a lot of money and they didn't pay out, who do you turn to? You don't have any reference material. I think that most casinos controlled by a certain commission are required to request customer documentation.

That could be different with bitcoins. At a casino with a traditional payment method, it is more logical that they want different documents from you.

So, simply avoid a casino that does not have a gaming license.

Only play with casinos that are liscensed or better with casino that already been known in the market for long a since  they have some name to keep, that even if KYC will be required which sometimes happens for certain huge amount we will not worry in our identity revealed as well in doing transactions in them. KYC seems normal in casinos especially if bigger amount of money involved and there are casino who are popular now and registered, so why bother investing or playing on those not.

Does that even make sense to ask for KYC when you are not licensed and so you are not working legally over any jurisdiction?, I understand that some casino websites ask for KYC in some cases that users could act against their TOS but at least most of them are licensed, I'd say this gambling website could be either a front to just gather as much as KYC information as they can so that they can sell them later or they just added this KYC requirement so that whenever they feel like it they just freeze the users account and ask them for KYC and if they didn't do that/or even do that(based on history happens in some cases) just proceed to take their funds for themselves, or both.

Unlicensed casinos don't have a right to function, nothing to say about giving KYC documents to them, without doubt, you shouldn't do it. Personally, I wouldn't give away KYC documents on every licensed casino but would risk on those whom I trust and are trusted in the crypto gambling community.
It's easy to obtain the license and you know, a lot of licensed casinos scam nowadays, so imagine how poor scammer would an unlicensed casino be and also how bad employees they should have.

Better to try your luck in jackpots on trusted casinos. Usually, that kind of reward giveaways (when user registers and somehow quickly wins jackpot) are the sign of scammy action.

If I win a jackpot and asked to do KYC I don't mind doing it knowing their reputation is at stake if they do something wrong. As what dunfida said, there are casinos that don't have license but they remain fair to their users. Relying on their license isn't always the best idea since they could still confiscate your winnings I remember mentioning this in another thread that covered a similar topic about licensed casinos.

Don't have any problems with the KYC yourself. There are many people who do object to it. It also depends in which currency you play. If you would like to gamble anonymously with your bitcoins, you are not waiting for a KYC, at least I can imagine. But on the other hand, big bettors who have a lot of bets and experience do know that a KYC is inevitable.

That's not new anymore. There are really gambling sites that asked for KYC when a certain winner hit a decent amount. But as long as the site is reputable, I don't mind undergoing a KYC if ever I win a big amount.

And besides, in the first place, I won't consider playing on that site if they didn't catch my interest and understand their terms related to KYC.

Obviously, shouldn't be mandatory for low-tier winnings.

I guess the KYC thing is those gamblers who will withdraw a big amount that they should undergo with the KYC. However, if KYC isn't a big deal for you that isn't a matter at all. But if you will speak about gambling that doesn't have licensed, well, I don't trust too that gambling site.

A gambling casino should operate legally and should have an evaluator, licensed casinos were always evaluated by the licensing company. If they had something bad, it's risky to their business. So, I guess, the licensed casino was a good decision upon picking a good exchange.

TBH, if the amount worth risk the personal details there is nothing wrong going for it unless the online casino is a proven scam. The idea is to verify the account, after getting the funds changing the data on personal documents is not impossible. After editing the passport data, the sent documents will be useless for selling on the darknet or for doing shady things, IMHO. Rather than losing the Jackpot, I prefer to change the data of my passport because the lost passport case is not new to the citizens of my country.

Some of the Gambling casinos I've seen are requiring its user to conduct a KYC (not mandatory but they said there's a chance or something) however my concern is that the gambling casino is not licensed are you going to trust this or not? Imagine winning a big jackpot and they asked for you to conduct KYC but they are not licensed.

Say no to gambling sites that want to get your KYC. Let them provide KYC with the data of their owners and complete information about their legal entity. You can only show your documents in a regular casino, when you know that no one will copy or sell them.

Dealing with the unlicensed casinos is too risky at all and you should have made your own research before you gamble on that site and if there’s a KYC avoid that right away before you experience a problem like this. There’s a lot of good gambling site where you can play without giving your own information, and most of them have their own license, gamble with those great site and you will have fun without worrying about KYC.

If I found out that casino having no license, I guess I wouldn't trust them with my credentials specially when giving out my kyc details. What if they'll failed your application? Then something's smells fishy on that aspect, because there's a chance that the funds you have will be scammed. Don't ever trust an unknown casinos, you might fall on their schemes without any rewards from your gambling investments. Choose those legit and trusted sites to gain full confidence to entrust your money.

That actually happens if you win big.

For you to avoid that scenario in the future, choose another casino that has a license and much more trustworthy than what you're describing. That is only if don't want any ruckus if ever you win the pot.

There are other better casinos that wouldn't force you to KYC. Check and read the FAQ and their terms and condition for you to verify rules that includes possible KYC compliance.

It's not right asking KYC from a player if they have no license at all.
Though there are some reputable casinos here without a license, but if they start asking KYC, then doubt about their intentions.
Better play on popular and legit sites here that you know you will not be screwed in case you won something big.
But for casinos that don't have thread here or no support at all, better stay away from them.

If that so, you are trying to compromise yourselves not knowing what will happen with your personal identities. Why we should have to make it knowing that they illegally run their business?
We don't need to trust other people easily especially when we are talking about KYC. Sometimes we got fooled because we only look for the short benefits or have money in returns after submitting KYC but we are not sure also what they'll do those things after? If we care for ourselves, then have to protect it.
